I'm trying to figure out how we can separate the chicks from the adult chickens and at the same time have a decent play area for the chicks and it's hard, well I think I've come up with something now and that's to have this pen area here that I'm going to make it look a little more glamorous than just shiny. yellow, but that's a pretty good start and then eventually these pistons that are under these blocks here will retract, the water will push the chicks and then they will be pushed towards the village itself, then on top of this thing that we're going to have . a small egg laying area, oh I think I prefer just the pure yellow, to be honest it looks like a very horrible vomit, this is not good, so now that the previous color is back and it looks much better than before. and also with an egg laying chamber, which to be honest doesn't seem that happy, it's a pretty small space that they have to lay eggs in and they'll stay there forever, so I guess that's probably one of the More depressing jobs in Chicken Village, but I know that for the moment, because all the elements are now in place for this to work, so I just have to plug them in and make them all work in sequence and things come together pretty well.

Until now I also thought that, just for fun, the eggs would shoot out of this dispenser right here and hit this target and this is where we're going to get the chicks to imagine hatching by being shot out of a cannon. and getting smashed into a target I mean it's a pretty wild start in life now for the first few of us to use this I'm going to do it manually just because I'm curious to see how it all works so there's the barrier that drops there are the sweepers of water that they cross, so all our chickens will have been eliminated, then these are the new chickens that are coming out.

This is so dumb, everything we've done so far in this video is so dumb, but I love it. but now it's time to do something easy semi-smart, obviously I don't want to have to press the button every time we want new chicks, so down here I'm going to have a daylight sensor that's hooked up. to some kind of T-flip-flop system and that means that every 20 to 40 minutes this thing will automatically reset, the chickens will be eliminated, they will populate the village and then we will receive a new hit that will arrive evil. Everything seems to be working perfectly, so now it's time to build some defenses for this village because, as we all know, chickens are exactly the most defensive animals of all the animals in the world.

I mean, what does that do? If something comes in to try to kill them, make a lot of noise. I mean, not really, yeah, we really need to defend these things, right? I have pacifists, right? They are not really massive. fighters, so I think we should make our defenses a little bit according to that, we're going to have strategically priced meat dispensers around the town, this is so dumb right, give me a second, we'll have strategically placed meat dispensers all over the town to distract things like wolves and foxes from coming in and destroying the chickens because why would they eat all the chickens here when the chickens can shoot very well?

You know, there are moderately rare snakes everywhere that they're not going to bother with. the chickens here and having to fight with them and things like that when there are just steaks all over the floor is perfect.
