may have

forgotten

to add to their list due to an extended error in the Scenario, so with the current events unfolding right now in our country, my wife and I have been traveling around the city doing our normal shopping because, As you know, follow our triana regularly, we are Preppers, so having most of our preparations ready to go has been something we have already taken care of months in advance, but we observe the purchasing habits of many people in my city native and we see many things that are being collected.

They're doing a couple things right, but

they

're not really focusing on things that I think are important for an extended bug in a situation, so that's where a lot of these lists and concepts come from if you're a veteran. Prepper, this list is like preaching to the choir, this video is not necessarily for you, but if you have loved ones or family members who want a very quick and easy guide, this is the video for them, so this list comes from a lot of things that were overlooked.

items

and preparations and many holes that people commonly have in their particular preparations at home, some of these were holes in my particular list, so this is where this list will be narrowed down now, the easiest way is to just break it down.

More Interesting Facts About,

Section by section, the first topic I want to talk about is actually water. Now it doesn't seem like anyone anywhere in the country has

forgotten

about water, as

every

grocery store and Walmart is completely free of water jokes and cases, however, something. What I noticed in my research is that when I went to the hardware sections of places like Walmart Lowe's Home Depot, no one had touched these water filters at all, so while there is electricity people seem to forget that they have this beautiful thing called a sink. and they have tap water, which I thought was kind of funny, but by just buying a few jugs of this you can fill your tap water, have some water filtration, a set ready to go, is it a dumb idea to have A few gallons reserved for your family in case the power goes out and you can no longer fill them because you don't have running water in a storm or bad situation, not a very smart idea but it seemed like people were panicking buying and buying a lot of gallons and boxes and without thinking if something as simple as pure water, Brita water filters, berkey water filters or zero water, what do you do if you have to travel in your vehicle and do maintenance and search and collect something? water and filtering it later or boiling it with things like water blocks or some jerry cans are also a very good prep item to add to your list, but for most people a normal mistake is something like a zero water filter and some additional filters.

Having it with you for a long day will do you good. The next item on our list is cooking now. In most situations, your stove, waffle maker, microwave, and toaster will serve you just fine, but what if the power goes out? This happens if the grid goes down for an extended period of time, but do you have the ability to cook food and keep your family fed during that time? So having some simple inventions like a grill, a charcoal grill, is perfect, they are really very cheap. The reason this one is in a box is because I live in an apartment complex, our apartment complex, the policy is we can have a grill, but if we are in a long term extended grid outage situation, I stay No power, to hell with the policies I have. cook my food some other things to consider if you are going to do it maybe you decided to just go out and go camping for a week or two something like ice on a computer stove with some butane fuel or even propane burners would work very well or maybe if you are just an individual and want to be light, mobile and fast and get out into the woods, something like a Jetboil stove with some fuel works well, the next item you may have forgotten our physical money for finances, because Of all the school and business closures setting up restaurants, sporting events, seasonal things, if things are just closing everywhere so we're home, do we have the ability to go to the pharmacy, the doctor, or the grocery store? go shopping or pay regular bills why things are better we still have finances if we are not working if one of our jobs was personally affected could you pay those bills for two weeks a month, three months and so on?

In the next topic of discussion, now it's power, for most situations, power will probably be your property most of the time, but like I said, if the power goes out, if you have any specific needs, either just being able to keep your cell phone charged around. the path to the medical devices you need to keep charged. Do you have the generators or power supply needed to keep those things running in a grid-disconnected scenario? things as small as just a small battery block to keep your cell phone charged for open communication. the way to larger units like a 2400, our Lu Yeti generator to keep small appliances and things like that running in the short term can be critical, whether it's a medical need or just for your family, whatever your needs. priorities, you need to have a checklist of your particular priorities of what you want to keep on if the grid really goes down and if you are waiting and looking forward to deeper dives in different types of January, we have some videos in the right corner of the screen to To give you deeper dives into this particular topic, the next topic is laundry, like I said, if the power is on, you have a laundry mat, or you have a washer and dryer in your home, this is a non-starter. but what happens?
Like I said, the power goes out or in my apartment complex we don't have washers and dryers in our apartments and the laundromats around our city are starting to close along with things like restaurants, shopping centers, schools and all that. This is actually a prep that's affecting me right now, so it's a problem I had to solve pretty quickly, so we wanted to make sure we had enough liquid detergent. We use an extra type of our preparations because it's cheap, but it works, it gets the job done, but then for doing laundry we wanted a separate Sterilite type of container.
You can use a five gallon bucket. If you have a clean tub in your house, you can use the tub inside your bathroom, which works very, very well. Well, for a mobile washing machine though, this is Mr. The mobile washing machine, which looks like a plunger, has a nice ergonomic T-shaped handle, but it has this kind of airflow pushed through the design. We're going to overlay some images from other channels, but it's basically a hand washing unit that gives you a very efficient cleaning cycle and then you can use something like cordage and some clothespins, hangers on the balcony.
Next we want to talk about bathrooms and general hygiene in general, many of the facilities I am used to. If I ran out of energy before, I would just use my gym membership and then go to the gym and take a shower, that was my solution, but guess what right now my gyms are closed? There's nowhere we can, we can't go to our gym and do. that as a backup so we needed to make a preparation now if you run out of hot water that's not a problem as long as I have running water take a normal shower do that we're ready to go when those facilities and those services close. and we want to make sure we have a backup plan to have a case of bathroom wipes;
They are simply baby wipes to clean the foreign parts, they can be of great help in avoiding things like infections, odors, bacteria and things like that that can aggravate a situation like this and make the current crisis we are in even worse. The next topic we want to talk about is about our family pets, they are something tragic in natural disaster evacuation situations and what I fear in this particular. Situation with self-isolation and possible quarantine in our country. Pets will be an overlooked item or member of the family during preparation. So if you have pets and are a responsible owner, do you have enough food for them?
It has water? allowance reserved for them, do you have enough treats and things for them because with your attentions, fears and possible anxiety, they could be filling up on those same things and having those frustrations and problems too, especially if you and they are forced to be inside for longer than you are normally used to for the next item we will talk about: gasoline and gasoline cans. Now it seems silly to think about it, but for a lot of people like I said they live in apartments with 56 million Americans living. In apartments that are adequately prepared for disaster situations many homeowners have garages and sheds and many places to store these types of things have lawnmowers these are things you have already thought about, but make sure you have enough fuel to get yourself from the point A to point B if, for example, you need to evacuate your location, installing microphones is no longer an option.
Do you have enough fuel to reach your destination? If there is an endemic shortage of gasoline. I'm not saying there is a shortage of gasoline. There's going to be a gas shortage, but what if we're in a situation in this current crisis where we're locked down for two three four weeks and we're in place and while we're hunkering down in our houses, people are siphoning gas from everywhere. the world? neighborhoods in the middle of the night and you decide to leave and visit your family somewhere where you feel it will be safer on a ranch or somewhere outside the city to be closer to your loved ones, where are you, there are more than There's a safety net there and you go to start your car and to Turkey you have no fuel.
Do you have enough to get around or get far enough to be able to travel before moving on to the next section? Please understand that this list does not cover everything, these are just gaps and holes that we noticed are empty in many people's preparation lists and in items and things that people cover and some of these items were empty lists that we had to fill along the way over the course of last year in months, next we'll talk about that. The type of roles in hygiene is to use the bathroom, like I said, if the powers are on, use your toilet.
Hopefully I'm not provoking too many people with all that toilet paper. Because Amin guarantees me at least three wives and some European countries, I'm pretty sure, but what if the power goes out and the water no longer flows? We can't just flush the toilet. For my part, I don't want to. be using the bathroom and clogging the toilet and producing stinky, oozing bacteria and creating a very, very unhealthy environment to live in, so we've gone with a kind of prep toilet, now there are some tricks where people use things like pool noodles and a lot of weird junk, but I figured why don't you go to the camping section and buy a camping toilet seat that goes in a five-gallon bucket.
It works very well. We like to use these little ones. Scented four to five gallon bags, which helps keep the odor down, but one thing we do is put on a very thin layer, just like we do with most people's Tidy Cats lightweight cat litter, we pour a little there and while people relieve themselves, they pour some on them use their toilet paper, voila, we are ready to use a five gallon bucket, well, practically a single bag, it usually lasts us 7 to 10 days, a hole surprising and a lot of people's preparations are games, cards and morale-boosting items, things that pass the time and relieve tension and keep things calm at times when people are very filfil and there are slightly higher levels and the anxiety is a little more.
The uncertainty in the world, being able to forget about that for a very short period of time can be very beneficial, especially if you have a family or children who now have things like board games, card games, all of that can be very, very important. , another one that is often overlooked. The issue is lighting, when, if the power goes out, do you have the ability to turn on some type of light? Whether through something as simple as candles. Do you have enough candles for a certain amount of time? Whether it is aweek, two weeks or more, or yes.
If you want to go the more high-tech route, you can have things like battery-operated light switches that can work with a remote control. LED strip lights with large power banks so you can keep everything running. It really depends on your taste and what you choose. what to do and if some people do well, these are first world problems that people comply with the law, but when people have ventilators, you live in a city, you live in a house and an apartment and you suffer shock in the system where you can't go to the supermarket. store you can't go to work your kids don't go to school you lose power you know that a cascading effect of things can go wrong and affect your life it can be a very big shock to the system if you are not prepared for That's why having a small sense of normality, such as being able to have hot food while cooking and having some board games, can be very, very, very big and the general feeling of hope and morale gets you through that particular situation, now surprisingly given . the fact that in most health sections at places like CVS Walgreens at Walmart shelves in their pharmacy sections the shelves were empty there were still a surprisingly large number of people through our research from walking around our city, people just baffled because they're scoffing at medications they couldn't get because people still have the common cold, people still get headaches, people still get stomach cramps, people still get high blood pressure. people still need to mitigate those systems and panic buying hasn't done anyone any favors, so make sure you have enough prescription or over-the-counter medications for the things you have specific needs or sort of blanket coverage, like we have done what happened can make a big difference when systems and services are overwhelmed, store shelves are empty and not being able to go out in a situation like this can be very important, well that's enough for this particular twelve article episode You may have forgotten to add it to your prep list.
Now, hopefully, there is at least one element or consideration that you were able to get useful for a TFO, and even if you are a veteran

prepper

and you know all of these things. and I was just preaching to the choir maybe you have some friends or family if this video could be helpful to them so share it with your friends and family with that hope whatever it is I'll stay safe and see you next time .
