She was following me on Instagram and said I should meet up with her and her boyfriend. I was like this was a movie looking back. I was like a red flag. I'm going to talk about my worst relationship. It was horrible and I hope nothing like it. That happens again to someone or me today I'm going to talk about how I discovered that my boyfriend was

cheating

on me. This is one of the craziest and most unexpected things that has ever happened to me, especially in a relationship right now. I felt totally shocked, like this couldn't be real.

He was 18 at the time and lived in Boston and my girlfriend at the time lived in New York, she was a little older than me and she was like the first person. who I was actually in a serious relationship with, we live four hours apart from each other so I actually only used to see her twice a month or something so she used to work on Saturdays so basically on Fridays we'd like to go out . We went out all day and on Sunday we went out all day and then on Saturday I was basically alone at her house and I just don't know did anything like go to the mall cook watch TV watch Netflix something like that nine months into our relationship I was visiting her that weekend, this specific Saturday, I was alone and I was cooking for myself and then I heard this like a knock on the door and I thought it was strange, that she had come home really early, so I thought maybe she came. she was home at lunchtime or something, but it didn't make any sense to me.

I opened the door and there was a guy there in a military uniform who had like bags and stuff during the whole thing. At first I was really worried, actually because I thought something had happened, I'm sitting there thinking, "Oh my God, someone died and this guy is here to tell him the news and he looked at me and said, who are you?" and I said, "Who are you?" looking at him, he was looking at me, we were looking at each other, basically we were both lost and confused and we found out that he is her husband of over five years, she was married and I didn't know it, we didn't know it. what to do because he didn't know about me, I didn't know about him and we were both a little confused.

You usually find out that someone is

cheating

on you through a text message. Being confronted was very strange. After our little confrontation I got in my car and left. I drove to the mall because I didn't know what else to do. I didn't know where to go. I didn't know anyone there. I called her and I basically thought I didn't know that a guy showed up at your house and said he was your husband and he was looking for you and she basically said oh, like she said, oh, she says, "I'm sorry, like it should be." It didn't happen and I basically cursed her.

I was very upset by the situation. I did not know what to say. I was basically like you know what I'm going to do. We broke up after that. It was like this. an awkward ending and honestly i probably should have known because he had a sticker on the back of his car that said like united states army, from what i know i think they got back together and then ended up getting divorced. I was basically a home worker without knowing it. I was dating a guy who's a little older than me and I remember having a huge crush on him because he liked all the nerdy things that I love, like he liked video games and anime.

Like, oh my gosh, we have a lot in common like I'm in love, I think we've been dating for like four or five months, although I remember he had mentioned that he was friends with some of his exes, he was like my first relationship wanted be cool and cool about it and it all seemed pretty platonic so I try to feel like you know it's okay for him to be friends with his exes you know they're obviously just friends now none of that one day he mentioned. that he was going on a weekend trip with one of his exes and I was like, oh, okay, I mean, again, I was a little nervous about that because I knew they had a similar story, but at the same time I thought, did you know?

Trust him, they're going on a weekend trip, everything will be fine. He ended up going out on this trip and it was like a road trip so he was gone all weekend and I didn't hear much from him and he came back. and he said, hey, I want to hang out when I show you pictures of our trip. I was like, oh great, as you know, I was excited to see him again. We ended up going out to dinner and coming back to his house and he was showing. I took photos of the trip and everything seemed fine, it looked like two friends who were traveling and he ended up leaving the room to go get water or something.

I made the mistake of swiping too much on photos and found I realized my boyfriend was cheating on me because I swiped on a photo of him and two of his exes having a threesome and I thought, "OMG, it was clear they had some kind of thing." camera set up to the side and they were literally getting every single picture of all the action that was going on, they were completely naked in the middle of having sex so yeah I saw everything it was my first relationship so with him it was like it was my first kiss as you know I had never done anything like that before and I was so shocked to see it in these super explicit photos when he came back to the room and found me looking at the photo I was so stunned I didn't even know what to say.

I remember being super embarrassed that I found him even though he was like there with all the other photos I had taken on vacation. I remember being so surprised that I was just looking at him and he was talking to me, but I didn't. I don't really remember the process exactly what he was saying: he went on a trip with one of his exes and then the second ex met them at the place where they were staying, so it was like a hookup situation at some point. Really angry because I thought you lied to me about this trip, you obviously lied to me about being platonic friends with your exes and you cheated on me.

I remember having a fight with him at that very moment, which was obviously no big deal. a fight, it was mostly me, just looking at him and getting angry and yelling at him and then we ended up breaking up. Honestly, it was one of the most surreal moments of my life. I started dating this guy we're going to call. joe, we met at a mutual friend's wedding, he was a groomsman and I was a bridesmaid, he was a musician and I really like music, so we found a mutual passion, he lived in Michigan and I I lived in California, etc.

We traveled and flew back and forth to see each other we often sent each other letters, I sent him records in the mail and we dated for a few years and every few months he would take his truck and drive across the country to come. visit me in california and on his last and last road trip he came to visit me and we decided to drive to the pch and visit our friends in san francisco, i noticed he had a little energy and was a little different than him. he was usually with me we were in san francisco at our friend's apartment and we stayed in his living room and there was a coffee table and during the night we both left our phones on the coffee table and in the morning he woke up to take a in the shower one of the phones turned on I didn't know if it was mine or not so I looked I saw it was hers and I saw this girl named Elizabeth and she texted me obviously I looked at it and it said something like I can.

I didn't wait for the sun to kiss my face and for me to kiss yours and immediately they were like red flags and I freaked out internally, but I'm not a very confrontational person, so I allowed myself to think about it a little that day. We had decided to go surfing I felt so uncomfortable and so restless the whole day there was one time when our friends went surfing and he and I were on the beach sitting taking a break together I very calmly told him what had happened and how I found this text message from a girl on her phone and I didn't check her phone beyond the text that was on her screen because I wanted to hear what she was going to tell me she immediately got extremely defensive and was yelling at me like why would you? check my phone why would you trespass on my personal property what were you looking at and for me it felt very innocent like our phones were next to each other and one turns on obviously I'm going to look at him and he runs off down the beach and runs away , that to me was an admission of guilt.

I decided he needed more evidence for me, so I went back to the truck. When I checked his phone, I found out that they had actually been dating seriously. I was in Michigan for eight months and obviously I was shocked reading all those text messages reading that they have nicknames for each other, reading that she's his girlfriend and that he spends time with his family and that they love each other and I'm like dying I decided to call this girl she had no idea who I was apparently she had found letters from me and he had told her I was just a friend and a pen pal she had taken a road trip to California with him she flew back to Michigan and she I was flying back the next day to drive home with him.

I hang up the phone, leave it where it was, destroy his favorite CDs in the car and throw the pieces under each seat so you might have trouble finding them. I take my things and I leave I go back to the city I take my things I leave Joe a long letter and I left it in his duffel bag and that was my goodbye and I get home and I'm sitting on my couch super defeated and upset And I was just trying to figure out what my next move was going to be and I looked out the window and there was Joe.

She immediately realized that she saw him and he turned and began to walk away. I ran out and started yelling at him down the street. What are you doing here? How could you do this to me? But he's just running back to his car and I obviously chased him with his car and he rolls down the window and he's just sobbing and very upset and apologetic and I'm like, "It helps you." right, I was like where are you going now because I knew he was going to relax to go pick up his girlfriend at the airport so they could go back to Michigan together and that's what he told me and I said goodbye in a couple of years.

A while ago I was on Tinder and I matched with this girl and she was beautiful. I showed the picture of her to one of my best friends and my best friend was like, “Oh my God, I know this girl.” I was like, "Oh, is that cool? Should I text her?" I went out with her and she was like, Yeah, you have to. We chatted and decided to meet up three or four months later. You know, we've been on all these dates. Concert dates. Dates in the bedroom. I mean, we were like dancing in the kitchen.

You know we were just talking about the 4th of July. : "Oh, um, there's something I need to tell you." I said, "Okay, go ahead and she says, there's this guy I've been seeing for the last two or three years, but he's from Dubai, he's there." well, like she knows about us, she's fine with us seeing each other at first. I was like, what is she telling me?, totally shocked and then she goes on and she tells me everything about him, she tells me that he owns this place. camel farm, that he is a prince in Dubai and that he has a 10-year-old son and that he brought him back to the United States last year and that

their

religions are different.

He had to pretend that she was his son's nanny because he would have been rejected from his family. I'm just sitting there like I clearly have no idea who she was dating right now and then she says that's the reason I'm telling you this. It's because he'll be here on the 4th of July and if you want, you know you can come at night. He could get a hotel room for the nights he wanted to come and at that point I was like, no, no, no. I'm done, I just had to tell her, you know, I'm not trying to have this kind of relationship and I think it's best if we don't see each other anymore.

When I finished things, she was totally fine, it seemed like she had nothing. remorse, I had been following her on Snapchat and saw that when he arrived they had been on every date he had taken her on the dates we had talked about, it was like a slap in the face, I realized I left . A couple of my blankets at her house. I asked her if I could go get them and I went back to her house while she handed them to me. She said there was a gift among these blankets for you, so I took the blankets and went.

On the way back to my car I pulled up the first blanket. There was a blouse and a dress that I would never wear. Her boyfriend from Dubai had bought them because they had the coin on the tag that was worth over 500. I decided to take them to Goodwill. and donate and never have seen her again
