May 04, 2024
Oh friend, how long have you been standing there an hour an hour? I have mastered the ability to be so incredibly still that I have become invisible to the eye, look, hello friends, it's me, Phil Mento, again with another online video. time, if it's okay with you, I would like to talk about the most ambitious crossover in the history of entertainment or not, the second most ambitious crossover in the history of entertainment, a closure, but it's not yet the one I want to say, I mean the third more ambitious crossover in hmm, okay. I watched Avengers Infinity War for the second time last night and honestly, it's still as wild a ride as it was in theaters when it first came out.

In short, it's a hell of an elite movie, maybe not the best in the entire MCU, but no. far from it, in fact, upon watching Infinity War, my mind once again returned to the same old question as when I first saw it, why couldn't DC's big live action movie be something like this if it weren't would you do it? I already know that I personally grew up with DC as much as I enjoy these Marvel characters and their movies. To me, they have never been asked as meaningfully as those on the DC side, at least not outside of Spider-Man, who said that seeing Justice League in theaters was one of the worst experiences of my life, me I mean being on par with trying broccoli and going into a coma because my little brother decided to throw a damn brick at my head;

In other words, no, I don't think Justice League is very good. This movie isn't the worst movie I've ever seen, not even the worst DCU movie, but it is one of the most disappointing movies I've ever seen and this, my friends, is why we're here today to finding out why one of these two superhero team-up movies are great and the other isn't why in Finn the divorce exceeds where the Justice League fails. What exactly did Marvel filmmakers do differently? You know, aside from not using Microsoft Paint to remove Captain America's beard five minutes before the premiere I've said this before and I'll say it again DC has a villain problem, it might be hard to believe considering they have by far the best comic book villains ever created, but with DC EU, unfortunately, a perfect example of this is the big bad of the Justice League, Steppenwolf, also known by his other name, a tall, talking mass of vanilla CGI number 26 To be fair, for a long time villains also seemed to be a problem for Marvel, not that there weren't any good ones, it's just that a lot of them seemed very forgettable to the point that they couldn't even be distinguished today, however, It seems that they have managed to overcome that problem that is very evident in Infinity War with Thanos, it is not just the nose.

One of the MCU's best comic book villains is also one of the best comic book villains. Truly a very memorable and intimidating presence. Under no circumstances can we take the time stone to Thanos. I don't think you understand very well what it is, no, this is you. who doesn't understand that Thanos has been inside my head for six years since he sent an army to New York and now he's back and I don't know what to do Thanos has been inside my head for six years six years six years looking At first glance, these two villains next to each other look very much the same, they are both tall planets conquering CGI in Strasse DS, so why does the nose work when Steppenwolf doesn't, because he possesses a real personality in

infinity

?
why infinity war worked and justice league failed one v one
In the war we learn more about Thanos than any other character, we get to know who he is, where he comes from, as well as what he is trying to do and why. I wouldn't necessarily agree with what he's doing, but I can understand why he's doing it. and this is why he feels like a real-life person with real-life debts instead of just an empty CGI shell with Steppenwolf in Justice League. There is practically nothing. He wants some boxes, but that's all. We do not. We really know who he is or what he wants or why, basically all of our knowledge about him comes from boring generic exposition told by other characters.
The only real, lasting impression we get of Steppenwolf himself is that he desperately wants to be with her, you know, honestly. Steppenwolf could switch places with any other CGI DC EU villain and this movie would still play out exactly the same way, he has less personality than Thanos' henchmen and I'm pretty sure one of them doesn't even talk, let's put it this way If Steppenwolf were in Infinity War, he'd probably be helping the assistant of one of these four henchmen, aka he'd be running errands in an office somewhere, maybe walking his dog if he's doing well and it still wouldn't take him long time to get it. fired because he keeps bringing his mother to work with his mother, one of my favorite movies of all time is Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest.
I think there is a lot to love about the story of this film, but for me there is one specific thing that makes it very fun and intriguing to follow each of its characters, they have their own clear goals and motivations and when I say that I don't mean only the main good ones, I mean everyone in this course, very good if she wants the chest for herself. donor mr. Norrington, I think he's trying to regain some Honor. Oh, Jack is looking to trade, it's a design plan, and Turner is there, I think he's trying to resolve some unresolved business.
I think it's the exact same reason I enjoyed Dead Man's Chest, this movie has a huge roster of characters, but still somehow manages to keep its story simple and easy to follow as you ask, because in addition to the overall goal of stop Thanos, the filmmakers also made sure to divide these characters into smaller groups and give them all their own clear goals and motivations. Tony Stark's group travels to confront Thanos head-on due to his troubled relationship with Captain America. Thor Sparty heads to forge him a weapon that he can then use. To kill Thanos, the Star Lords group joins forces with Starks because they want Gamora to return.
Captain America and most of the other Avengers fly to a condo because they want to destroy the mine stone before Thanos can get his hands on it to shorten it. Everyone heads. to the same destination they're just taking their own routes to get there and in Justice League there really aren't any specific goals or motivations of a person at least not outside of Batman's conflict his relationship with Superman basically the whole movie goes like this, let's put together a team Let's stop Steppenwolf from getting the last box. I survive Superman with that box because that's how things work.
We are going to fight seven wolves again. In addition to the heroes' goals, Infinity War also manages to make things very clear with its villain. Thanos wants all six Infinity. stones so you can snap your fingers and make half the universe feel not so good, that's pretty simple to understand. Steppenwolf, on the other hand, wants three boxes because apparently that's what he is and it doesn't help that it's never entirely clear what exactly these boxes are on the dark side. Are they his real mother? I don't know and I've seen the movie. I mean, I do know that they paint the sky orange and make tentacles grow from the ground, but that's about it.
Infinity Ward works better because it has something that Justice League doesn't clarify, character and motivations. I know I've done nothing but rubbish in Justice League so far so I want to take this opportunity to say some good things about it also when it goes into action this movie has a cool moment where Batman drives around the city taken in the Batmobile and the rest of the team joins in to help him. Very cool, the only problem is that this moment is about 30 seconds long and this is a 7200 second movie, so to quote my previous video about this movie, there are two main action sequences in Justice League and they both take place in a desert tube, a sewer and a power plant or in other words, generic dark CGI DC Space 1 and 2.
There's also the fight scene in the park after Superman wakes up, apparently some people thought it was cool, which which is fine, but it all seemed pretty silly to me. I mean, you have all these superhuman fighters and their big battle is limited to standing on this little one. Park wasn't too long ago when Superman was fighting in damn space and just look at the flash, he has this cool slow motion running moment, but then you realized, he runs maybe 20 feet almost like this whole scene was just a quick take halfway. reshoot that or maybe the DC characters just got tired of moving around.
I bet your parents taught you means something is safe here for a reason my parents taught me differently. Tell me if you've seen Infinity War and chances are you haven't. I don't have to tell you how spectacular the action is in that movie, it's visually incredible, it's always moving and takes place in multiple different terrains full of excitement and comedy, and it also features Spider Man, who never hurts, while the Justice League's action consists mostly of generic beatdowns. And here we have multiple aesthetically distinct fighting styles and abilities, well, there you go, if you follow the film industry, you may have heard that Justice League had its fair share of so-called production setbacks, it was originally He planned for me to be a part. one of two movies but we all know how that plan changed now originally we had Zack Snyder with his own vision but then along came Joss Whedon with his stuff and of course then there were the water brothers executives with their views and because of this there really is no coherence as to what this movie wants to be, as I said before, it's just a big mess, something that Infinity War is not, for example, let's compare the themes of these two movies in Avengers, The main theme revolves around the inevitability of failure and defeat is the first thing we talk about and what the entire film is built around.
I know what it's like to lose, to feel so desperately that you're right and still fail in all the time I've served and never have. It couldn't be fair Justice League presents sort of an overarching theme as well as the theme of having to come together and come together if you're wondering why Steppenwolf kept rambling on about the boxes being the unit, so in the same way that he has done. putting the boxes together to do who knows what with them the Justice League has to band together to defeat him is a good idea but unfortunately in the movie it doesn't really work but what's the point of a United supergroup if this guy is stronger than everyone others together and can just jump in and deal with the bad guy by himself Overall, while the idea of unity is fine, it all also seemed like something that was quickly slapped together at the last minute with the reshoots so that the marketing Then the team you can stick it on posters and this, along with what we've talked about so far, is why I think Justice League

failed

and Infinity War succeeded because, unlike Justice League's Infinity War of Justice, always had a consistent vision: his crazy car parked outside.
Oh Lord. Parker um, what are you? Hey, it's Peter Tony, what are you talking about? I don't feel so good, are you okay, I don't know, I don't know what's going on here, we're Phyllis, there are other Avengers. latest

justice

video for you please tell me your opinion on these two movies and why do you think the avengers succeeded and the

justice

league

failed

or is it actually the other way around let me know thanks for watching.
