I Redesigned Minecraft’s Most Nostalgic Maps!

I love Minecraft Nostalgia and nothing gives me more than playing these old Minecraft

maps

but sadly everyone stopped playing them so to change that I'm updating five of the

most

iconic Minecraft

maps

and forcing my friends to play them starting with the temple . top notch, but before updating it we should probably build something real in our world and I think this is the perfect place for it. This map is from 20111 and of course it was created to honor the top-notch Minecraft creator, but when I finished building it, I realized that it just blends into the mountain, so to change it we need to collect all the color D starting with yellow, here we go, there's red, there's pink, magenta, blue, ooh, and this is light gray, now we can steal some. cactus from here and smell this to get a little bit of green dye, then we can combine a bunch of dyes to get orange, purple and light blue.

Now all we need are black dyes, gray dye and cyan dye, finally we can convert all these dyes into colored concrete. powder duplicate it with this Boop machine and turn it all into concrete, come on, so the first thing we're going to do is use black concrete to dye his beard black. Okay, this will take a little time, but hopefully it should look like a lot better to wait, we should probably do his eyebrows too, we're giving Notch a little makeover. he use some white concrete and make his eyes look better, oh my gosh, that looks a little creepy, and now we're going to turn this whole Stone into all the different colors in the game.

Well, first let's design the pattern we are. We'll do it, so we'll use purple, then magenta, then pink, light gray, then gray, brown, red, orange, yellow, lime green, light blue and dark blue, this will look absolutely crazy if this creeper doesn't blow it up. first no please okay and then we'll continue the pattern all the way okay so I'll start with all the purple parts and we'll make a straight line down for each color to make sure we stay on the straight line. To start, I spent 5 hours building these tubes for each level of my dropper and I built level one out of stone because my idea for this one will be a city with a bunch of skyscrapers that you have to avoid in order to get to the water, okay, so The first thing we're going to need is a lot of glass for the skyscraper. Windows, okay, please let me have some glass, oh yeah, now let's get a bunch of these flowers and make some dye. We can get a bunch of different colored windows, we can get blue stained glass that my friends might mistake for water and then they'll die.

Now we're also going to need blocks for real skyscrapers and I think iron will be a good choice for that. Alright, the first thing I'm going to do is build a little skyscraper that goes right through the middle, but that blue glass definitely looks like water, so now to make it even more difficult, we need to add another skyscraper that goes through this. way we want to make sure it covers all the water, okay let's try it with two skyscrapers, it's hard enough to get into the hole, oh my god we literally just made it, let's add a bunch more skyscrapers.

I wonder if my friends are really going to like these maps. I guess we'll find out soon. Well, I think that's enough. I mean, this is pretty difficult, yeah, and I'm thinking we'll have a path that goes down the wall and maybe around the sides. Okay, so let's quickly take out some space, okay, and now we'll use some yellow and some black for the road. Yeah, I think this effect and then maybe some side sidewalks will look even better. Right now, we really can't have it. a path that goes through this Gap so I'm going to make the path go around the wall and then go down there hopefully this really looks good ooh yeah that's actually working out really well now we just need to go around all the other buildings because this one is on the path, so I quickly finished the path and added a few more finishing touches, then level one of the dropper was completed.

Okay, this is just level one and I already think this is hard enough, let's see if we can do it. God, oh my God, yes, yes, there is no way my friends would do it that first time. I've had quite a bit of practice but anyway level two is going to be a lot harder because it's a lot bigger than the previous level and it's also blue so the water will mix with the blue blocks, however at this point I still It's pretty easy to get right, so we're going to build a bunch of obstacles and this level will have an ocean theme.

Collecting this wood actually reminds me of the next map we're going to build, but obviously you'll have to wait to find out what it is. Anyway, I think we have enough wood, so let's use it to create a bunch of sticks and then create a bunch of signs. This won't make sense to you now, but trust me, this will make this dropper much more difficult. That's one layer done, there are two layers and we're officially out of signals.

I remember watching so many YouTubers play this and while I'm having fun playing Sky Block. My idea to improve this map is to turn it into a race. I'm going to make it with a space theme and it will look really cool, but we're going to have to do it quickly because now we only have 2 days left until my friends test the maps, so the first thing I'm going to have built is the planet Saturn and we're going to have this in the middle, so they will have to jump through the rings to fall. I kind of forgot how long it takes to build a planet, okay, that's the actual finished planet, now we have to build the rings around the side. Or, this looks pretty decent.

I feel like the ring is a little small for the planet, although if we extend it it will touch the walls, but I want the players to have to jump through the ring. We'll give it an exhaust here and then outside of the exhaust we'll have some fire and we'll do it with different colored stained glass that looks decent, but maybe if we add some red glass too, yeah. that looks a lot better but now it's finally time to add the water that the players are going to fall into, but of course this is the level three dropper so it should be the hardest one and make finding this water is much more difficult. I'm going to change this entire floor to Earth, but only one of these ocean blocks will be replaced with water and it will be up to my friends to make sure they choose the right block, otherwise they will land on blue concrete.

Although we have to choose the spot carefully to make it really difficult, so we'll have blue concrete underneath to make it even harder to see and then just some water like that. true, but is this possible? There's one day left until they come to test the maps, which means we have to build the final survival games map which of course was based on the popular Film SL book, The Hunger Games, so for me version I'll take it literally and make My players fight with food, so the center where the players will spawn will be a golden apple. Now I want to create a bunch of islands around it made from every food in the game so that these are the real Hunger Games. and while I'm designing it, here are some more facts about survival games, it is definitely one of the most popular maps in Minecraft and was so popular that it spawned multiple different versions of the map.

You might recognize this one too from Vicstar 123's Hunger Game videos. It was one of the first Battle Royale games, meaning it inspired pubg H1Z1 and eventually Fortnite, so if you like Fortnite you basically have to thank survival games anyway 4 hours later and that's all the food built. Now I'm going to place loot chests. Throughout the map we will try to hide them as best we can, but some of them will have to be obvious for my version of The Hunger Games as well. I'm not going to have chests in the middle because we're playing. the void, so fists can be pretty deadly, plus I don't want my friends to die right away because this is a pretty small map.

I'm also going to include three overpowered items that will be spread throughout the map; The first special item is going to be an Ender Pearl, the next special item is a bow and five arrows, this will be very powerful and I can only think of one counterattack, which brings me to special item number three, a shield, this in combination with an ax will be very deadly and I hope none of my friends use this against me. I've done my best to distribute the special items throughout the map so that everyone has a chance to get one, so there will be three of us. playing on the map so let's try to make three holes to try to distribute them evenly and then we'll cover these pieces with glass like oh my gosh this is bringing back memories now we're going to need a piston here and then a gold block on top from here, okay, now I want these pistons to be controlled by this lever, this should work, yeah, so we'll all be trapped here and then I'll press the button and we can escape and go loot.
