Buffalo Plaid Wreath / Facebook Live Replay / New Petal Method

Hello everyone, I hope to have you here. I'll help you get started and put them on my iPad. I'll make sure we have the right view in this cold. Yes, I have it good. I made today. I don't know if you can see it all. This combination is already cut and ready for you, but let's make this just right. Once that's done, I'm going to show you how easy it is to do it, how quick it is to do it. I really like this technique right now and there are several reasons why it's cool, so let's get started and move on to this tutorial now.

I'm going to show you that we'll start with the middle, but first we'll just do one section. I'll show you how I did this, but I'll show you with the off-white rope. because I think it would be a little hard to see from your camera just because it's black, so let's start with this and we'll use that black sensor, but I'll show you how to get started. I'll take my marker and I have marker stuff all over my hands tonight and I just put my marker against it so I'm not really good. next to it and I'm just going to mark my grid and then I'm going to cut it out and use it so I already have a cut out put this here and I did the same thing with the plastic grid and this is the stiffest of the grid for its Center and it The only thing we're going to do now is we're going to glue these layers together, so I'm going to grab my glue gun here, everyone.

I'm using this to cut my mesh tonight. It's just a small basket and I only use the ten inch mesh for the most part, so I just put a wooden dowel through it and that's how it holds my mash together. This is the mesh fabric. and a fashion store for trees and crafts. I have requested this from both of them. You can use your wood stove. This is the tip I use. Can you see that tip? And you see it. That's all. I'm going to use it and I'm just going to cut this. ten inches and ten by ten squares, so I'm going to go down very slowly and not all mesh fabric can be cut well, but this I can, so I'm going to do it with the things that I bought from Joanne that I couldn't cut with a wood stove, but that's what I do, so I'm going to leave that aside.

If you don't want to use the mesh fabric, you don't have to use it, you can just use a ten inch roll of polyester. burlap and you don't have to do what I'm going to do tonight, but since I have an order, I wanted to do it. We'll start with a curved 10 x 10 inch piece of polyester burlap and make our

the same way you would normally make it for a sunflower. Well, now here's the difference. I'll lift it up and have one pedal over the other, okay? then I'm going to grab it here and then I'm going to place it and I'm going to make sure that we have it placed on the right at the same distance here, okay, because we want our pedal to be more or less the same, so what? I'm going to do it, yes, Kathy Walmart has the nifty burners too. Now what I'm going to do is because tonight we are going to make the mesh fabric with the polyester burlap.

You can easily make one of these in an hour, it doesn't take long. everything and you can watch your favorite show or do whatever and just put it together as you can see we almost have the first outer layer finished and I also like it let me tell you another reason why I like this flower is that I don't have many of you know that when I make the sunflower and we have many, we are fluffing it, you don't have that with this one. You don't have that with this. flower because the petals pretty much stay in place and that's where they're going to stay so I like it so here's the last white one just a white one that we're going to add and in a few minutes when we get some of these out of the I hope that also help so just have your petal lift it up with one petal on top of the other and you just put the zipper here and put it on and then that's when I'm going to go over here. and cut out all my zip ties, okay, now, because I'm doing the private matching, if I wasn't doing the fabric matching and I was just doing the same color, I would have already done that, I would have just gone ahead and done the brackets. each one, but since we were going to do that, I'm just going to put my zip tie and all the spaces for me, so it makes it a little bit easier and kind of keeps the places for you, so you're just going to take a piece of the polyester burlap and the mesh of your fabric and you are going to layer it now you are probably thinking why you are layering it.

You could just match the fabric, but what I like is that you see the pattern better and I just feel like it's a more substantial petal, so I'm going to do the same thing that I layered on it now, this is a little bit thicker, like this that I'm going to play with it, take my petal here and I'm just going to attach it to the frame and the way we did it that way, this goes over the top of both sides, so again take a piece of mesh of fabric and layer it with polyester burlap and, if it goes well, here and say hello and I haven't seen you I apologize but I would like to be quick.

You could use fewer petals because this is very bulky. You know you could get away with two petals between each set of supports. So go for it and make it yours. This is a 5/8 inch by 15 foot rope like it's really It's like cord, but it's found in the ribbon section at Hobby Lobby and when it's 50% off, don't pay $10 for this. I mean, if it's not on sale this week, maybe it won't be until next week, so it'll be nice. I can even make a red one. I don't know. I'll eventually make a red one. So we'll take it. Good. So what I want to do is put my cable in, where's my hair? Well, this is just me. I think it's like a piece of 22 gauge wire, can you even see it?

So I'm going to take my very sharp scissors and make a hole and it's a little bit harder now because I live in this really dry place. Look, yes, I went. through, I'm going to make a hole there and I'm going to make a hole here, there we go, then I'm going to run my wire through that hole, okay, it's a little bit harder. I usually put the wire used to make this hole, yeah, I just need to make it bigger, um, when the group glue is drying a lot, but the glue is already dry because I did this before I started the wreath and now it doesn't want to go through, okay, I have to pass, so I'm just going to pass it and this will be the base for our middle.

I showed you how I made the base and made it so the glue would set and be ready to go.
