Trying Art Trends I've Missed

May 29, 2021
Hi, it's me, so I feel like I've been talking a lot about

trends

on my channel recently and how terrible I am at keeping up with them. Maybe I hadn't realized. Maybe you don't care. Earrings are too much, maybe anyway, there have been so many

trends

in the YouTube art world over the last year, I've basically

missed

, oh, almost all of them. I don't know, I'm in my own little world. I notice them, I see them, I just don't do it until they're dead and then I think, I guess it's time to do that, but I have a whole list of artistic trends that have passed that I just haven't done. experienced, I just want to try them although it's a little late.

I assume they were trending for some reason so I need to see what it is. I don't know what it will be, it will be a 2. part 3 part series I don't know, let's play this from ear to ear. I was

trying

to think of more expressions that include body parts, but I can't belly button. Okay, first thing on my list. I've been waiting to try hydro dip, that's my hydro dip dance, this is probably the last time I'll do it so don't worry, maybe I understand the basic process of how to make hydro dip, but I've never tried it .

More Interesting Facts About,

I myself are just going to try things and go ahead and do it learning as we go. If you don't know how wonderful water immersion is, we will learn together. Okay, I think I bought all the materials I have. I'm going to need it for this boom. I got spray paint out of the wazoo because I need all the colors. Why, because I love them all. I have a couple of things to try soaking in water and I have a big tub. You're supposed to fill it with water. You take spray paint, spray it into water, and then submerge it.

I have no idea what a mess this is going to cause. I don't really feel like going out because it sucks outside right now and it's cold. I just don't want to. Is it a bad idea to do it inside? I should have gotten a tarp. Hello, do you have a tarp? What color is it? Mmm okay, okay, thank you. Okay, bye, we have a tarp too. I don't know we have a workspace set up, we have protection, it's time to fill it, no, no, wait a second. I can't lift this. I guess that's why you're supposed to do it outside and then you can fill it with a hose hmm, there are several ways this situation could have been avoided.

I could have gotten the water into the container using a magical thing called a bucket or I could have filled this with half of that water and been totally fine, this much is clear. For me, no, I can't, would you like to help me, oh, that was very heavy, well, I did it alone, without any help, strength and things, I have my water table, it's quite hot, it's actually very relaxing, kind of lovely, I think the sweater. need to get out I will open all windows in the area for proper ventilation. Seriously, it's been like three hours since I started filming this video.
It's time to do something, so I bought these little containers from Target or little plastic organizers. I guess it says it binds to plastic, plastic, okay, open these up, I have one ready, I'm just going to wet it like this, what color should we choose for our first water immersion? teal, yellow, orange, no, green, not purple, these are the ones I already shook this one. oh my god I'm scared, what if I get spray paint all over this room? I should have done this outside, honestly, it's ruined, ready, let's spray in the water, yeah, this is pretty messy, oh god, I think I might be spraying too close, okay, oh oh, I need gloves, gloves and , oh I have it all on my arm, let me go, I try to rub my arm so it doesn't come off at all, this is what I did, honestly it's a little ugly. very lumpy, but this is not as easy as it seems, we have to move on.
I'm going to try another set of colors, hey, and this time I'll wear a mask because the fumes are very strong, it's not pretty, but it's not pretty either. poisoned by toxins oh here we go this is the second one and it's so much worse so clumpy and sticky it honestly looks disgusting every time I've seen people do this it turns out so soft and beautiful what am I doing wrong here ? be the water temperature is quite warm. I'm going to have to do a quick investigation. I just watched a video, they didn't do anything different than what I'm doing and apparently warm water is also supposed to be better for water immersion so maybe that's it.
It just takes practice, let's keep

trying

, really, here we go. Hi, I was pretty focused on the task at hand during this whole thing and I also had a mask on so it was pretty hard for me to communicate so I'll be the voice. For me, I've gone with a very bright summery color scheme on this one and when dipping I make sure to wipe off any excess paint before putting it back on because I don't want to double dip it and ruin it. the design and it looks like the skin almost lost it I almost lost it again, I'm not sure I love this one.
I mean, it's pretty messy at points, but a little better than the others, moving on to the next try. I'm trying to get confident at this point. I understood this, but I'm actually a little panicked. I tried a whole rainbow of colors for this one. I don't know what he was nodding about. This is my only form of communication. I definitely went too light in the painting. with this clearly, what are you doing? There are so many gaps in that and I shouldn't have dipped into it at this point, so I ended up with another less than ideal result.
Well, it doesn't look like the full rainbow is there. I usually only see people wearing two or three colors, that's the best, but you know, I can't resist. I'm going to try a few more things. I found these coasters, they say: I wish I could text my dog something so weird to put on it. a rollercoaster of thinking about why a person who designed this, the person who buys this, the person who has it on their chin and doesn't know it, the reason I chose them is because they were the closest thing to plain white that I could get. find.
I hope to cover the text with spray paint. If it's a problem then I'll print them. I really want a full bath of Rainbow Hydro to work. I'm going to move on. I look like a little bug in this. Let me take a moment to talk about this process, it was a little stressful making something so messy around my entire bow and all my equipment, plus I went so little that I feel like I can smell the spray paint just by looking at this, oh it's so loud, which of course wouldn't have been a problem if I was outside.
I don't mind filming little bits here and there outside, but I really didn't want to film this whole video outside because I currently don't have a good outdoor filming setup without needing someone else to help me all the time, plus it was really cold, wow , I just said donut, oh what's donut, so one would have actually been cool. I guess you can totally see the lyrics through him and me. I hate that boom, so let me get these ready real quick, it's going to do it on my face, we have to wait for them to dry, so let's move on, what can we do next?
How about a paint palette? Okay, so this one I'm doing now is actually, in my opinion, one of the best because I had the paint pretty thick and I was also working very quickly changing from one color to another. It seems to work best when you spray the next color before the previous color closes, like holding water. The portal is open so you have a clear space to spray and everything runs much smoother that way, so this one came out pretty decent. I think it looks good, kind of cool, but on the next one I relapsed.
I almost want to try it again. because watching me do it I definitely think I could improve if I did this again, but it's hard to know in the moment what you're doing wrong, you know, but with this one I think I just slowed down a little bit, spraying too close. to the water and I also left quite a few bare spots, still this isn't the worst one I've done so far, so I guess it's okay to move on to another palette. I realize that you can submerge various things in water. with a round of paint and get more out of the paint, but I was really only concentrating on one thing at a time.
I was barely having any success with it, so this one had some really significant wrinkles. I had no idea what was causing it. Oh, this is a little embarrassing. I realized I had forgotten to remove some clear protective plastic, so here I am skinning him and he's dead. Now here I go trying again to make that full rainbow happen. You know, every time I see someone else hydro. dipping it in I just think it looks amazing but when I do it I feel like it doesn't look good, maybe you all think this looks cool, hopefully why is my vision blurry?
What else can we submerge in water on an outlet cover? Like I'm being born anyway, I'm working on painting for a socket cover, if you

missed

it. I decorated a bunch of my plug covers last week, so if you want to see it on the I cards, this one turned out really well. One of my favorite water baths, but I think it looks really good. Actually, I don't have any complaints about it. Wonderful, my coasters are dry. This will be the last thing I submerge in water, so let's do them right. I have to go out. from this room I will return when everything is dry to talk about what I have done just to point out another of my failures I filmed like this for ten minutes the importance of turning on a microphone to see if I can try to read my lips they are fine, clap, hey, then this that's it, I have no idea oh oh, this video has so many mistakes, okay let's finish this now, okay, I aired out the room, cleaned everything, which took forever, it was fun to clean.
Not really, this is what I've done. I have a couple more trends in mind that I wanted to make, but this one took forever and I couldn't let it go until I made something I'm happy with. I felt like it was going to be one of those things where it's so easy that there's no way you can create something ugly, you know, it's just that every time it turns out beautiful, your colors mixed together will be beautiful, right, not bad. I learned that it's possible to do something ugly while dipping Hydro because I did it, so I learned things.
I understand why it was such a big trend. I get it, it's interesting, it's cool, but yeah, this isn't what I'm cut out for. No, no, yes, I don't know what. I'm going to do with all this crap, there are a handful of pieces here that I enjoy, so if you want to see a portion to try other trends or if you have ideas for other trends you want me to try, comment below. and let me know what you want. I hope you enjoyed this video and see you next Friday, bye.
