Customizing Phone Cases

. of them, three phone cases, mirror case, look case, this is my current phone case, which I didn't make very basic.

I've had this case since I bought the phone, so I know it's been a habit recently to paint on a bare iPhone. I don't know why that became something I'm not going to do. Umm, no, you know, I'm fine, I'm fine. Well, this time I'll do a little extra prep work for the next phone case so my design doesn't end up like this, so I'll just clean up this case. I'll try. to sand it, sanding silicone doesn't work very well and I suspect this isn't the right sandpaper for this so I'll put some gesso on it which is like an acrylic primer that's supposed to help acrylic paints adhere to different the surfaces are better, so I'm sure we'll stick with that and that seems to have done something, hopefully now for my design, okay, that doesn't work, let me try something else.

I'm going to trace the phone case, draw my design, cut it out and now I'm looking for a very rarely used art supply for myself. It's coal here, it gives me chills. Spread it over the back of my sketch until it's completely covered, then throw it on top of the phone and trace the lines I made. I didn't invent this technique, I've seen it many times, but I don't use it often because I hate charcoal, oh my, oh, but it actually works pretty well. Side note: If you try this, I wouldn't recommend using these silicone phone cases. They will definitely fit like the hard plastic ones, I think so. I'll have better luck with the paint adhering better. You know, I really need to figure out some good techniques and products to help the paint stick to different surfaces and make it super durable because I want these things I decorate to be practical. I'm using a metallic silver paint pen to do all the outlining. No, who wants me to make maca cake in real life? Nobody, no, don't force us. The shading of the whites is very blue. I added white paint to gray instead of black paint and was hoping for a neutral gray but it ended up being a lot more blueish than what I was photographing because I don't hate it, although it bothers me a little how everything leans a little bit, I think it scares him the camera hole, but that's okay, I chose pretty soft colors for the actual dessert. it just golds the white and pink, so of course I'll add some sprinkles to give it a little more color.

The ice cream looks a little stiff. It has a very dry appearance.
