Transforming GRIAN'S MINECRAFT MANSION With Redstone!

Ladies and gentlemen, the day has finally come. I think it's safe to say that this is probably the most requested video I've ever made on my YouTube channel, but we're finally going to do something. As you can see, I designed this house. Just now I was planning on being really sarcastic and saying I designed this really beautiful house and look how awesome it is, but I'm not even going to make this thing horrendously ugly. I mean, there's absolutely no depth to it. There are windows in very strange places, the ceiling is too high for the house itself and it's a bit of a mess, but what I did was fill it to the brim with

redstone

contraptions, so If you come in, right?

Here you can see that, well, we have a lot of things going on, first things first. We have this Shuler box exchange system that allows us to have lots and lots of Shuler boxes in a really small space. It's essentially like a compact. storage system, but we also have this slightly different storage system which is known as having a storage silo. Now this bulk stores items and as it fills up it will light up each and every one of these Redstone Lamps as all of these chests fill up with items and the way we actually access the entrance chest is we press this button there same and send us to the top.

I have no idea why I said Bon, but we'll have to ignore it next. this little potion brewing station right here that allows us to speed up brewing a bunch of different potions, the only problem is that in this current snapshot it's a little broken so hopefully that'll be fixed in the last one now. If you move this lever you can see blocks appear, move the lever again and the blocks fall. We have a secret staircase system that takes us to the lower level. Now there's not much to do at the bottom. We have a hidden crafting bench, we have a switchable nether portal that allows us to turn the Nether on and then also turn it off just like that and we also have a super fast scent system that will melt five different furnaces independently, all at once allowing you to reach five times farther than the foundry and this system is super super compact even though this thing is filled to the brim with amazing little

redstone

contraptions it's still horribly ugly there's no way around it if in fact I can't even even look at it anymore, so I think what I'm going to do is send this world green.

He's going to fix up the house to make it look much nicer, but I think he's also going to ship. a house he designed and I'm going to fill it with a bunch of redstone contraptions. This should be interesting, so here it is, this is the world here and let's take a look at what he's done. Now I have no idea where I'm spawning, apparently I also spawned in survival mode, that's awesome, oh my god, I didn't expect to have to play it in survival mode, apparently, wow, look at this. spectacular I'm feeling a theme here that's the best mustache I've ever seen no oh my word oh oh man oh man oh that was too much for me I have tears in my eyes there it is Mumbo green face man you'll have to send me the textures for this because I need them, I need them on my own oh sorry guys, I mean, yeah, but well, it seems like we have Mumbo faces in each of the paintings that I have Mumbo faces everywhere.

This is spectacular. What an epic build. This is a serious mega build. The amount of detail you've gone into here. I mean, this is beautiful, really cool and we have quite a bit of space to work with. From the look of things, we've got some room for Redstone's gadgets on top, right there, we could really do something special, okay? I'm going to check out those paintings. Look at the kitchen, this is crazy, this is really amazing, okay? I'm going to have to head to the drawing board, we have a lot of Redstone gadgets to come up with here, we have a lot of work to do, so I'm going to have to grab my notebook and start jotting down. some ideas so I think I'm going to start with things in the study area now as you can see he's actually done some red stone right here we have an automatic lighting system apparently yeah it was a little dark here, so Green decided to do all that, which is actually a pretty good way to start, but I think we're going to get a little better from there.

We have a green screen and a state-of-the-art camera to do. all the Vlogs, so what we're going to do is we're going to enhance this a little bit, we're going to remove the green screen and we're actually going to add it as a moving set so we'll have a moving background and also some pop up props and then we'll add three point lighting and basically turn it into a proper movie set. All Redstone for the moving stage system is now complete. instead, so now I'm just pulling all the blocks to place them on the inside of the piston rate tape and the idea is that it should look like some kind of moving background that intersects so that we're like a car or something so, we can build the car in the next few seconds and then this set will move AC and you know, one thing we should add is probably some clouds that we're going to be fighting for space just a little bit that's pretty cool actually no it's wrong it worked a lot better than i expected to be honest with you look at that oh wow right we have to build like a motorcycle and like a fake road right here and that can be like our hollywood movie set of a motorcycle if you really squint , I think it's almost believable, except I did it incorrectly, so this is a motorcycle with reverse gear.

Oh, it's too early in the morning for this kind of thing. I would say our Hollywood movie. The set is now complete, we have the moving background, we have the moving foreground, we have our motorcycle in the center, there we also have a 3 point lighting system that we can turn on and off and we have our camera. a B camera and a C camera right there, so now I think it's time to work on some of the editing suites that we're going to add in this section, as with any Hollywood film set, we have a lot of them. of spare cameras and speakers and tripods and all that, but also our editing suite is already in place, so you can see we have some leveling screens and yes, other parts.

I'm going to be honest, most of these buttons and levers don't really do anything, they're just there for decoration, but some of them change some lights, so I guess I'd say this room here is already completely finished. We should probably start working on this space and I already had an idea to build something in this area, so right next to our Hollywood film set, we now have a changing area, so if I clean out my inventory here and I enter this section, we can choose between diamond, iron and gold. or leather armor, whichever one we really want, we just walk right up to it, press the button and as you can see, now we are fully equipped, obviously, that means we can change very, very quickly so we can film different scenes inside this place .

Right here I feel like I've had too much fun designing this whole Hollywood movie set that I should probably move away from this area and start working on some of the other spaces in this build. Now I'm thinking about the kitchen. Yeah, there's a lot of things we could do in the kitchen by the looks of things Grien has done a little bit more at Redstone and created this system right here, which throws a fresh pig right on the grill, which is horrible as in horrible on animal rights, the fact that he made some Redstone is epic, the kitchen now has a very nice and very stylish new oven, as you can see here, we have a lot of different animal farms, there There is the cow farm.

It's the sheep farm, we also have a pig farm, so let's put a little more in there and I guess I mean cows, not horses, no, I don't know if I'm going to eat horses, aokas. Definitely not donkeys. I don't think you can eat them. I guess chicken. We could develop our own chicken farm. Mushrooms with mushrooms will be fine, yeah, we'll just use mushrooms, so we'll throw in a bunch more of these guys in here and if we actually use this. I'll quickly show you how it works, so if we grab some wheat, you can see that when we press this button, all of these guys will start moving up and down.

If we press this button, these guys will rise. and down, if we hold down the right click button, obviously we see that they do a lot of breeding because they're all being sorted, so we just hold down the right click button and we'll breed pretty much all the sheep possible, then we press When pressing the button once again, all the sheep will fall to the bottom area and then when we're done with them, when they're fully grown, we just press this button. Lava is dispensed, they all die, and then we get to all their The article falls here, we have a pretty boring part of the kitchen.

Now it wasn't boring originally. I had a ton of decor, but I tore all of that up and replaced it with this. Now we have a hidden furnace assembly, so we've got 14 furnaces cast under this wall right here and if we press this button, you can see the floor goes back up and we press the button one more time and the floor falls back down now. I am very happy with this Redstone circuit. it's actually a pretty clever little guy that uses Observer blocks and does things on the falling and rising edge, so if we press this button, you can see there's the full double extension circuit and there it is again, so everything just Spits Out the blocks and leaves them there and then on retraction you just grab the blocks back and pull them down, cool, okay, that's the system now.

I think I want a chicken farm and a chicken farm would look like. pretty good in that corner over there, sorry shelving, we're going to have to get rid of some storage here and we're going to have to replace it with a mighty chicken pot after a bit of design work and a bit of slotting, I've created this practically perfect square chicken farm right here, so this is where our chickens are going to go and hopefully they should all cook up nicely, so if we put a bunch of these guys in, they'll all lay eggs. On top of those hoppers right there, those eggs will drop into this dispenser which will then send the egg to that area, hopefully it will spawn a chick when that chick grows, then it will grow in the lava, so what now?

What we need to do is add an exit chest and that should be all functional. I have to say that for such a simple little chicken farm it was a lot. The square shape design doesn't really lend itself to it and we had to do it quite a bit. There's a lot of redstone wiring out there, but it almost fits and looks good now, you know what I think. I think I might be done with the kitchen. I mean, we have some construction here and there. I'll come back later if something occurs to me, but for now it's like a super grow room with a super heating system too.

I guess it's time to go up, speaking of stairs. I couldn't help it, you know I love it. hidden stairs in Minecraft and this one seemed too perfect. I mean, look at that staircase and look at this beautiful 3x3 doorway that goes through this hidden room. Now I have put up a small sign for Mr. Grian. Right here, it's horrible. I have seen it. that Elmo video that you guys drew kept me up at night it's horrible I should have had that should have been age restricted that video seriously well doesn't it look lovely? I mean, I'm really enjoying adding like the little little details and we've got some disco lights on top here and I just had, oh my word, I just had a really cool idea, this is going to be good.

I think we should build a closet for Mr. Green. but I think we should add a little surprise here, so this is how it looks at the current moment. I mean, it's a pretty fancy closet, it even has a red carpet in the front, but when we get to this button yeah, it actually works well, so we have armor stands that launch from the front, go through the doors, and hopefully, It should scare Grian's pants once we add some of our dror and also a very loud noise from Enderman which would have been perfect but it's too big if we try to put a door here yeah I think he'll know something's up.

Oh, from the look of things, I can't seem to hear any playback sounds no matter what I try. and doing so just says unknown error, which is not particularly useful. Oh, I managed to get it working and I did it with the Ender Dragon dying. There's quite a meaty sound to play if I try it. Oh, I feel like I should try it. at least once you know what I feel, Enderman's sound is better, yes, it's a horrible, horrible noise.Now Grian has built this really big entrance right here and I think we can build a gigantic piston gate in this area.

Now it's going to be a little complicated and it's going to be a slightly different design, so we're going to have these two pistons right here, that side is going to be a dual piston extender, this side is just going to be a regular piston extender and at the end, hopefully, it should end up looking like something a little bit like that, so we're going to extend these pistons and we're going to extend both pistons and we're going to have like a line of blocks going up the middle and then the piston arms extending out, that would look really cool, yeah.

That would be a very good entry. I also just want to formally apologize to Grian for ruining a lot of the decor he has in this area. Here it is. Well, here comes the Moment of Truth. Everything almost works? And I think I know it. Why is it that we have had so much bad luck? I think if we just add a repeater right here, hopefully that should extend the Redstone signal and really allow us to extend the final piston there, so that's the input. this place and wow look how crazy it looks, it looks mega cool and here we go, I think we should add some fireworks and then this room will be completed and we can finally go up the stairs.

Remember what I said about 5 minutes ago? We were going to go up, we still have another floor to do, oh my goodness, if I had known there was so much room in the back to do everything, there's plenty of room back here for us to fit in a pile of red stone. I didn't know at all, that means we can do some amazing things upstairs, so it's okay. Sorry, I can't stop improving the things I wanted to add in another farmhouse in the kitchen area, so I added them. a wheat farm that will allow us to get all the wheat for this and the way it works is actually pretty much like a simple little system that we'll add just a few pressure plates to each side and then if we get some seeds ourselves, then we can turn this thing on and for some reason not all of them are activating now, this is much better, now we have a working Redstone clock and if we just walk around placing all the seeds, we can see that. these guys grow up and then they push them and we cross like this oh well we have a new system here because it's so dark they automatically turn off, well that's pretty clever we could do this hey look at that for a moment. new Farm B, but no, now that everything is fully lit, we walk like this and then push it and yes, it works a little like that, getting tons and tons of Wheat really nice and fast, the kitchen, however, seems much more complete.

Now that we have that farm I am very happy with this place. I don't think we'll come back here. This place looks good. I don't think we'll come back here. And obviously this. The place looks amazing, so we're not going to go in there. The secret room is finally looking good. I think we could finally go upstairs. Well, room number one is the bathroom. Oh, we can do a lot with this Redstone circuit. Number one is him. So Green Shower System I had already built this little shower right here and I guess I just added a shower area that actually works okay maybe a little extra redesign is in order and oh my gosh I guess we're on quite a private situation. neighborhood, so now it's fixed and everything looks great, so we hit this lever here and yeah, everything turns off, we turn it again, everything turns on and as far as I can tell, after a lot of testing, there's no way we can achieve it.

The water flow is going well, so that's the shower toilet. We need an automatic toilet. I honestly have no idea how many of these I've built so far but for some reason I still find it a lot of fun, as you can see we throw the brick at the L. it's thrown and we get some toilet paper, okay there's some different things we can do here. We have, oh my God, that's Korean, that's disgusting, but we have some different things we could do. I guess we have a jacuzzi with sinks, we could definitely create a jacuzzi.

I'll think a little more. I'd say the bathroom is now finished too. We have the super jacuzzi. I don't remember how to spell the word, but as you can see, we have got some steam and also a little bit of bubble action to be honest with you, hot tubs are incredibly difficult to build in Minecraft, but that sounds pretty cool to me, we have the deodorant extreme, which is too powerful, seriously, that thing is ridiculous, but it works and Then, the most important thing is that now we have the Japanese toilets. Both Grian and I went to Japan at exactly the same time, unfortunately we couldn't meet, but we were both in Japan at exactly the same time and we both had the opportunity.

Same experience with toilets, they are completely ridiculous, they have full flushes, they have musical buttons and all that, so I thought I would try to create one more time so we have a flushing system right here that seems to work quite a bit. Well, actually, I need to have some water in my toilet right now, it's not much Lo, but as you can see, yeah, there it is and then we also have the flush system on full, now it's more of a head. to be honest, with the eye, but that seems to work pretty well for me, so let's go cleaner, there it is, but the most important thing is the music button now, unfortunately, I'm not a big composer, okay, so I have created this now, can you imagine?

Can you imagine relieving yourself with this? It makes you feel so tense that everything would flow in seconds, so let's turn that off, leave all this behind. I'm very happy with this little area, right? here, let's move on to the bedroom, but first I thought it would be cool to create a hidden entrance here, so originally there was a painting, now that we've got that right, I was going to say a system that works, but from the look of things. It doesn't seem to be and it's probably due to this crash here, so if we replace it with Redstone then we should have a fully functional system.

We take out the Redstone, everything extends, we put it in the Redstone, everything retracts completely. I love it. I love the block update detectors and the quasi-connectivity and everything I really do, it's one of my favorite features of Minecraft, but oh god it's annoying, it's very annoying anyway, let's destroy that block and replace this block and now we can finally do Redstone and I have a great idea, as you can see, this place is incredibly dark and one thing you can do when you are in the bedroom to create some kind of atmosphere is turn on the music and light B. some candles, so I thought I'd create a system that does both at exactly the same time.

Now let's see, let's see if this works well. We place our music record. That is incredible. Then you have some tunes playing. We have some candles lit. and then you know, when the mood is gone, all we have to do is put this out and voila, the music stops the candles. This is my favorite Redstone gadget in the entire build. I love this thing, oh amazing, I don't even know if I need to do anything else here, so here we go. I don't think there's really anything I want to add extra to the bedroom that's good enough for me.

I have a little Anvil replacement system down here, so if this Anvil works then we get a new one. I was considering doing it as an automated enchanting system but to be honest I've never personally used them on my own builds so it didn't really seem to fit and this design is absolutely charming so I guess yeah the bedroom is finished this area is finished, our secret room is completely finished, we have a functional bathroom that looks amazing, we have a fully stocked kitchen with almost every farmhouse you could ever need, and of course we have our Hollywood Studio.

I'm going to quickly check all the versions before I send this to Grian and then I think he'll send me back my original version so we can see how much better it looks here now. it's and I'll be honest with you, I don't think I've ever been so excited to click on a world download, let's see what Grien has managed to do with my really ugly house, oh for goodness sake, the man is a master, the man. He is an absolute champion, what the hell does he do? How does he do it? He's beautiful. I want to build this in Hermitcraft.
