there's a lot of changes and i want to show you some of the coolest things starting with the new the headlight design that new front end is a little bit wider and this black chrome i think is cool and there is also a very special edition of pmc 200 built in the nsx plant and if you are lucky enough to have one of those it might be a future collectible you never know it has special exterior colors as well as interior colors further down you'll see this front splitter has been changed it's matte black and that's really smart because what happens is bugs and dirt and dirt. if you're not going to see it they did a really good job and as you go this way there are 19 inch wheels that come standard this is the 20 inch and I love this alloy wheel because it's a black chrome which you can actually see fills up the rudder It's pretty good they probably could even go ahead with a bigger wheel and tire combo but right now it's really good it's a good year tire and it's on all season so which if you're looking to drive it during the winter you might want to get winter tires now going back you'll notice little easter eggs over here

They've really done a great thing with the standard 14-way power seats, heated seats, air cooled seats and I put it on auto for the seats and one of the things I noticed right away is they increased the air cooled seat to match the temp that had dropped to 70. and it's pretty hot in here today and that's great because what we're coming out of this is a really nice climate controlled area and one of the things that's been improved on the rdx for 22 is a ride quieter so there is insulated front glass side glass in advanced packaging higher than rear glass thicker carpets and you can hear this very loud truck next to me you barely hear it inside so if you're chatting you get A much quieter, premium ride and that also makes it less stressful as opposed to listening to these heavy ones.

Ty trucks going by or noise outside is definitely more insulated in each trim level but in the higher trim level this is a spec with the advance package you can definitely tell the difference let's go down at mulholland drive and put this thing in sport mode with the super handling 4 wheel drive they claim it handles better and we'll find the exhaust note also changes in sport mode and gets a lot louder which I like it sounds more guttural it doesn't sound like it leaks through the speaker system which is a 16 speaker audio system which is also an upgrade from the previous generation now we're in sport mode on the famous mulholland drive let's see how it handles some nice corners here you can instantly feel it there is a difference in sport mode compared to normal and comfort and I think that's what they were trying to get at is that you have u na vectorization of real and real torque.

technology

that they used in the past, it's much improved from the old interface, but when you works with this multimedia interface people are getting used to wanting to touch the screen and that's not an option so it's a way to control all of this and that's right here or you can use what's on the steering wheel which also has the volume and a lot of the extra safety features and also the cruise control is here you have paddle shifters if that's what you want if you need it doesn't make a lot of sense but the features that are here are easy to use there is storage underneath it has cargo wireless heading further back from the shifter which is the push button shifter and a front of that are your dynamic modes which go to snow normal comfort and sports right here is an easy dial to use just dial sport normal comfort and snow everything is fine here you can't touch this you can just use the dial to enter those modes we'll go back to my favorite sport mode which also uses the most fuel under e This center console there's a regular 12 volt outlet and a usbc charging port and there's a usb charging port here that has two cup holders and there's more i In the center console there's also storage in the doors as well as the speakers of others.
The one thing about the comfort setting is that it absorbs a lot of the variations of the road, whether it be manhole covers, expansion joints, and therefore does a much better job than its predecessor when it comes to make the ride more comfortable going to normal mode this is kind of a happy medium where most people would be driving you still feel the expanses of the road a bit but certainly not what you would feel in comfort what which is great if you're just looking for a nice comfortable ride so you can feel like one of the things that's gotten better with the interior whether you buy a looks package or the top of the line premium packages you can get this orchid interior is it's not black but it's just this cool tint of purple it's very slight but gives a softer feel than the harsh black and gives you a warmer feel there's also some alcantara type material in here seat cough real nappa leather that's nice the back seats are also very comfortable and we'll be back there in just a second like this huge glass roof you can leave it open or closed but we're filming here for you so we've got it completely open so you can I can see how bright it gets here over and over again that's a matter of personal choice one thing to note is I'm very happy they have the volume button here it's actually a dial , no slides people really hate that and this is shine the rest is not going into the on ramp we will put it in normal mode there is a little bit of lag but in sport it goes away instantly when you get into that wonderful traffic of california rush hour and sport is almost useless so since we're on the highway we're going to get out of that sport mode because we can't really use it we're going to go to comfort mode since we're sitting in pi hour traffic co have all experienced that even if you don't have rush hour in your area at least you have the understanding of what it's like and it really does a good job on the highway with all the expansion joints and I'm deliberately driving over some of them to so you can feel how quiet it is inside and how well this vehicle absorbs those variations from the road.
I like how this vehicle feels overall, to me it feels like a departure in a very positive direction um the rdx outsells the q3 and the audi and mercedes by a pretty dramatic amount it's the number one vehicle in this segment and i always say drive everyone check your insurance rates because that will make a big difference german vehicles will probably be more expensive certainly something to keep in mind you can feel there is a clear difference in sport mode and i really like it this i think is a great departure from the predecessor and rdxs have been a very popular vehicle all along but now i think they are going to sell more of these so acura better be ready to back this old canyon road de topanga has been around for a long time.
