I Transformed the End into Tangled in Hardcore Minecraft! (1.20 Survival)

May 18, 2024
Today's video is great. Some of you may have noticed that I haven't uploaded an intense video in over a month. Well, that's why planning, building and editing this video has taken me all this time. This is one of my favorite projects. to date, so be sure to leave a like, comment and subscribe if you're new. We've built a lot of crazy things in this world so far, including last time we headed to Never and built this crazy Never Fortress, but today we are. I'm going to head somewhere else and I don't know why I'm teasing it like I didn't click on the title and the thumbnail because yeah of course at the end we're going to be building and it's time for the part of the episode where I say that this is my biggest project yet to give you an example of how big this castle is behind me.
i transformed the end into tangled in hardcore minecraft 1 20 survival
It took me about 2 days to design our animal hotel, about 2 days our city, maybe 3 or 4 days just the design. creative mode this has taken me about 9 days this is a big build we are on day 1717 right now I won't be surprised if this takes us to day 2000 but before we can build at the end I want to do the The end is a little more accessible from the Overworld because right now the way to my final portal is down this 2x2 staircase that takes about 30 seconds to go down and then when you finally get to the end of the Fortress you have to follow the land. path I've traced ooh look a block of dirt, let's follow it ooh another ooh another few blocks of dirt ooh a diorite arrow pointing me in the right direction, so yeah, this isn't the most practical right now, so let's save these coordinates. here, which happens to be directly under this tree and let's dig all the way down and hope we don't hit the lava, precious.

More Interesting Facts About,

i transformed the end into tangled in hardcore minecraft 1 20 survival...

I decided to make it too wide just in case and it's easier to fly up too anyway, let's talk about Our project in the end is big because we are going to terraform this ugly scenario, but before we can do any terraforming we have a pretty big project and that project is to kill the Ender Dragon 19 times because I want to spawn at each end. Gateway there are 20 in total, which means I have to kill the Ender Dragon another 19 times and for that we need 76 final crystals and although the last time in the ne we killed a lot of guests, I was stupid and didn't save all the tears. we burned his tears out of frustration which means we only have 35 so I guess we have to go kill some Ghasts which didn't take long since emotes are very easy to kill however I struggled to find many tears and we went back to the surface and got some Enders eye we melted some glass because we need a lot of that we also went and killed some fire rods since we actually needed more then we crafted all the final crystals we needed we got some more glass to finish them and we also create a better bow, okay we have our bow, we have our crystals, we have a lot of spare arrows, I don't know why I need them, we have infinite and we even have some glass bottles to collect some dragon breath. let's go to the end and kill some Ender Dragons, of course, we already killed one Ender Dragon a long time ago, we have to kill 19 more and I wouldn't say this is a difficult challenge in itself, it just takes a lot of time, look here.

It's me killing the first of many here, we respawn, we got the achievement. Now I have to kill and shoot all these final crystals because I don't know how to do the speedrun method and yes this takes a lot of time. I'll see later that I did it pretty well, although I did it pretty quickly, of course I won't show you each and every Ender Dragon kill in its entirety as that would take a lot of time, so here's a little compilation of how I killed everyone. the Ender Dragons some of them look very similar some of them look quite different some of them are quite strange however that's how quickly I have everything down we get to this end Crystal we shoot to that end Crystal shoot to another end Crystal we shoot to in the air as we fly down, we'll shoot this one.
i transformed the end into tangled in hardcore minecraft 1 20 survival
You can see I was getting pretty accurate. Look at all these shots, each one of them hitting each end. Crystal. The only annoying thing is that you have to shoot these from below, which are a bit of a pain, but we did it, sometimes we styled the Ender Dragon like here, where he shoots me in the air and I'm like, no, you're dead, buddy. , also look how funny this one looked when he died, I don't know. What happened to my voice there? But I fixed my bow a few times and, uh, we used everything. If you were keeping track, you'd notice that this kill here in a second is the 18th kill, oh, which means there's one left and we power it up one last time, we spawn the last Ender Dragon.
We're only missing one portal frame here, as you can see, the rest is here. It's the final shot at the Ender Dragon and the 20th Ender Dragon has been killed, which means this is where we go, where are you? where are you? there you are we have our final page 20 Ender Dragons oh my god I killed 11,000 Endermen what the hell we have a full circle of Portal frames oh yeah honey look at them they are beautiful Let's go back to the Overworld for a moment now there are some things we need to collect here, the first is some iron blocks, the next is a carved pumpkin and we will also need a bunch of shulker boxes, also let's grab some chests. just to be sure and so it's time to go back to the end and here we are going to equip our beautiful pumpkin oh that's ugly I need to change that there we go a good resource pack has fixed it if I had to look through those pumpkin eyes I would go crazy with the iron blocks, however, it is of course for some beacons, since we are also going to need some haste, wait, haste 2 doesn't work on Endstone, no, surely not, I thought that yeah, oh no, this is going to work.
It takes so long. I was planning to mine this final stone and we have a lot to mine, but at this rate it's going to take so long. I need 10,000 for the build though, so maybe we'll see how long it takes me to mine until I'm actually done. I raised for 13,000 and it took me a little over 2 hours, but as you can see, it's barely made a dent on this end. Island Oh no, 2 hours, 2 hours for that. I have so much I need to do. You see the circles in the portal frame. I want to make sure there is no endpoint on the outside.
This will take a while. I think we're going to have to use a different method since it obviously took 2 hours and I only extracted 15,000. I think we need. to mine like 150,000 that's more than 20 hours just mining, we can't do that, we can't do that. I'm going to have to experiment with some TNT dummies that I've never made before, luckily these things are pretty easy to make however unfortunately we need a lot of slime blocks and this is how much slime we have. Oh no, now these flying machines aren't that big, so I'm going to get enough materials to make four of these things, which unfortunately means I need 32 slime blocks.
I'm going to have to kill a lot of slimes, everything else is quite a bit. easy to get. All we have to do is get some tubes. Coral fans, okay, let's kill some slime as soon as the sun goes down, unfortunately the sun. It's going up and we only have 25 limos, which means we're going to have to wait for nightfall once again and here we go, it's better, let's go back home and with that we can now go back to the end. Okay, so we've set up our TNT's first trick flying machine here is here and there's an obsidian block there, it's pretty hard to see with the end in the background, but it's there in the center of the screen.
I think all we have to do to start this is place it. a red stone torch against here yeah and it's off oh god I'm stuck on it oh and it's blowing things up let's see what happens okay it's just sending TNT at the end right now but it's okay something went wrong it's not moving Oopsy Daisy I've put something here, can I take it off? No, we've broken it, okay, oh, it's off. I put a block of dirt in there and it seems to be working. Yes. TNT is falling and the end is exploding. Beautiful, I wish, oh God, I wish.
Enderman, don't be mad at me, it looks like they aren't, which is good, and they're doing a job faster than I could do, which is good, except I blew up the machine, right? Yes, all the Slime is gone. I've blown everything up, so I was too low. Well, hopefully the machine won't explode on its own this time and stop. Well, let's get some of these going and see if we can destroy a payload. of this final stone, so I started making four more of these machines and shipped them and it took a long time and not much was destroyed.
I think we need to use a different machine, luckily most TNT flying machines use pretty much the same materials. I'm missing a slime block. I really need to make a slime farm, but for now let's go back to the swamp, of course it's a new moon. The only time slimes don't appear in a swamp, another 10 fucking minutes pass. I guess even though the spawn rate was lower the next night, we still managed to find enough slime to get the final block. Well, in the end we come back and we have everything we need to build this thing. watch out for these pieces of Bedrock here from my friend FIP and to make sure they are 25 blocks higher than them, so we are going to work on building this thing and we are building a design of Ray's work, the same one that fli used in your video and It didn't take long to build as the tutorial was very good.
I built it a little far away, which is an accident, but it should be ready to go. All I have to do apparently is destroy this redstone block and that's it. and I've lost the Redstone block, haven't I, I need that to stop it, oh boy, oh wait, it's up there, thank goodness, so this thing is going to hit that spot over there and then turn around and come back and repeat , and then it will gradually move forward, but for now it will send a lot of TNT into the void, but this is good, this shows us how low it will go, so it should pretty much cover the entire bottom, which is cool, so let's leave it alone one moment. a little I guess, and I don't like AFK, but I'm going to AFK until we get some destruction, okay, now we're on day 1749 and we're finally getting some destruction, look oh my god it's taking so long I built this.
Note too far away to sell it next time but look yeah it's blowing up some nice stuff now all we have to do is wait for it to blow up more stuff and I'm using this time to edit the video and although it looks very like this How fast it is happening, remember that each day lasts 20 minutes at the end, so this is about 3 hours or more. Okay, it's a long process, but look at it, it's doing a great job, however, I need to move all of this, which means I've got to build it all over again since I did that part.
I need to go in that direction and then rebuild it again and go in that direction, then rebuild it again and go in that direction, so we're only a quarter of the way there, oh God. but I'm going to try not to AFK in the next few parts, instead every time we finish a section I'll kneel her first and terrify her to make her look a little better, even though I have to dismantle and rebuild this machine. oh no I just did it I just messed it up no I'm so stupid I didn't realize putting dirt under it would make it explode oh stupid stupid Joel I guess I have to go gather all the materials again too . well, well, well, at least now I know for the future, the reason I put the earth under the TNT, by the way, is so I can collect it all without it falling into the void like it normally does now when I do time lapses . every time you see the day count flash one more day, that's about 10 minutes in the Overworld, in the end it's 20 minutes, so what you're seeing here are literal hours passing by as we destroy this final island, oh god , this took so long.
As you can see, we start on day 1761 and approach day 1800 pretty quickly, but it's satisfying to see the island destroyed, although some fragments weren't destroyed by the TNT cannons and I had to go in and kneel them down a bit. bit, which is fine, fine, it was still a lot faster than extracting it all by myself, which I was going to do if I had a beacon, a beacon probably would have been faster. I wish the beacons worked in Endstone. Progress is slow, very slow. I've been working on this for 6 days. Now you can see I've started to rebuild it here, but we still have to destroy all this, all this, and all this, so I'm thinking we're below these things now.
Maybe I can set it up again and then I can dig this up myself, which, by the way, we're up to 82,000 final stones, that's crazy. I guess I don't know why I keep doing this to myself last time. I went crazy in the abyss this time, I'm going crazy at the end, but hey, at least these machines are helping, if only now there was a flying machine that could help replace thefinal stone and terraform it, that would be amazing, but instead I had to do it. do that and that's it for the final stone oh my goodness we're on day eight 1822 let me show you a quick video of the repeat mods this took so long I've been up I've been working on this for about 10 days so far, 10 days of real life, obviously, not 10 days of Minecraft, since it's been almost a hundred of them and we're finally ready to move on to step two, which is changing the terrain.
You'll notice that the final stone is something like Jagged. around the edges that's because first we're going to change the surface of this place to something a little better although we fix our tools and also destroy these flying machines oh, it feels good to be back on the open air surface, what? Although it's not great, I need about 7000 Moss Blocks and 6000 Lime Terracotta Blocks. I have a lot of cacti for the Dy so that shouldn't be a problem. It's more the moss since I don't really have a moss farm last time it was just me cleaning a hole.
I guess we can do it again first, let's get the little terracotta terracotta, oh look it disappears, lovely little amounts of terra. Lovely cotta, not sure why I'm doing that voice but anyway I also went and melted down a bunch of cacti and turned that terracotta into lime terracotta. I also cleaned a bunch of moss from our Moss Cave, ooh, two materials that took quite a bit. a while to get together but it's all we need to get back to the end oh God, I don't know why I say oh God, we're going to spend a lot of time there, we're going to lay down all this lime and moss terracotta now.
I went with Terra Cotta and Moss because they are much greener than grass looks. In the end I thought about mixing it with Terra Cotta and Moss just to add a little texture to the build and I think it worked well, it added a little texture. I didn't go too crazy and just split them up as you can see there and we got these different patterns forming, oh and I also had to destroy an obsidian pillar, which took ages, ah. Beautiful look, the island finally has some shape, very nice by the way, destroying this took 40 minutes just for that obsidian pillar there, a little crazy, how destroying them all would take quite a while, glad I didn't. doing that, but this actually shows the outline of the castle we're going to build today.
Look, you can see where it's going. I didn't put grass everywhere because that wouldn't make sense, but actually we're going to do it. work on something that is not on the island for now we are going to focus on the outer ring and for this we need a lot of materials back to the Overworld now there are two main materials that we need for this and the one we need the most is glass and I have done the calculations and we need about 25,000 glass shulker boxes aka 385 stacks aka 14.2 which is worth so many sand shulkers oh my good job I have quite a few enchantment bottles let's go to the desert ah , this.
Takes me back to the days of Empire season 1, except I was mining red sand and now I'm mining normal sand. We got all the sand we needed, although after fixing our tools and mining this final small section near our base, we also had to get a load of coal to melt all this sand. By the way, I really need a fire farm or just another way to get fuel because right now I have to mine coal and that's boring and probably not boring either. very efficient, but hey, we took advantage of the charcoal to make some torches, we also gathered some bamboo and some white concrete and then we took advantage of our raid farm a bit just to get enough emeralds to trade some bottles with our villagers. of enchantment and I also wanted to level them all up for something a little later and finally we went and collected a bunch of skulls from Below near the deep darkness and with that skull collected we have everything we need for the OU section. of this build, oh my gosh, we're approaching day 1900 and this is the first big thing we've built, it's a good thing, although I promise, let's hope this all fits in my inventory, let's go back to the end where we're going to spend.
It has been a long time in the making and we are going to start with the outer rings. Yes, there are many rings. This time I'm going to play it safe by having a lot of rockets in my inventory because I don't want to like the fall. exit the world and not be able to land again if I run out of rockets I would practically die then, but let's do our second build time lapse uh-oh alarm The bells are ringing Joel hasn't entered the time lapse directly what happened? Well, let me explain. He was fixing my tools on my farm there and we had a power outage in our area and of course my PC was on because I was playing Minecraft and everything went up in our house including the PC.
I turned it back on and couldn't log into this world now, of course, I'm not stupid. I make backups, however my last backup was 2 weeks ago before we started this video, but using some behind the scenes magic I managed to get the world. and save it well, however, my player data was completely wiped, which means I got the world back, but all my stats, all my tools and items, all the things inside my Ender Chest were completely gone and strangely enough, all my controls were also reset so I can. I don't zoom anymore because of all these weird things that annoy them, so how do I fix this?
Because I still carry a pumpkin. I still have all my stuff and if I open my Ender Chest, everything is there. I managed to back away. all the things in my Ender Chest from a save I had 2 weeks ago, which was my emergency backup, however, many of the things like my fireworks and some other things, like these tools, can have different durability and, eh, there might be some things like some Enchantment buzzes that aren't meant to be here, I'm not sure because this is from 2 weeks ago and I've obviously been playing for two weeks since then, a lot of things have changed in that Ender Chest, so main thing that has changed. although what is very annoying for me are all my statistics.
There are about 160 days left with goodies, including all that final stone. I care that all the sand I just gathered no longer appears in these stats, even the Ender Dragons killed, it only says one. Ender Dragon was killed and time was gambled, but I could go and change it, but I don't want to fake it in a way. However, I moved the day forward so that the day is exact, it's 1873, but if you're wondering. Why my stats are being a little weird is because we crashed and that makes me really sad because I mined almost 100,000 Endstone blocks and now I don't even have the stats to show it.
I guess we're going to have to extract a 100 more let's work I'm not just kidding but I just wanted to be transparent with you there are some things that have happened and it's very upsetting but fortunately we've managed to recover quite well and thank God it was after I left all these shulker boxes we crashed, which means these shulker boxes here and all the materials we just gathered are safe, thank goodness, so let's have a quick two seconds of silence so the final stone stat goes away, it's okay, let's get back to work and be Seriously, seriously now, because we have to place a lot of things.
All that glass we gathered is about to be placed. Now you're looking at this and you're thinking, Joel. You are placing it very easily. Well, that's because I. I'm using a mod called light maaka that I always use for his schemes and it has this method called easy place where you can play things and you don't have to place much land so I use it to help me after my stressful situation. You know, I almost lost my entire world. Here you can see, although all the glass we gathered was placed, this took about 3 hours, I think to finish it all, but look, we finally started building some things that are not cornerstones and oh boy, I love it oh yeah, that's a lot of glass .
I know it doesn't really seem like a big deal. When you're up there, but down here you can see how huge this thing is. Oh, I'm still wearing it. my secret life skin, but hey, what we're going for here is a beautiful river effect. This is a river around the island, a circular river, of course, because it looks cool and the river is like, you know, shiny, we have this beautiful one. Kind of a torch effect underneath. I thought it was awesome. We also added all these little things that you can use to go through the final portals and finally we have the ship that we built, which of course goes with the theme we are on.
I'm going to have today, since yes, I think it's probably in the miniature and in Tiel and other places, but this is the castle from Tangled, this is the ship that he sits on while watching the lanterns coming out of the castle and the next step we are going to build. a castle so we can return to the surface where we will sleep and here are all the final stone blocks that we had collected earlier, as you can see a lot of them there, but we are also going to need a lot more other types of blocks.
See how far in the 1900 days it takes us to collect these materials and I'm not going to give away how long it took, but keep in mind that we started this on the day 1884. Remember that at the end, when we get to the end, here you can see me mining. a load of red sandstone, although I also went to the never to collect some warped mushrooms and some warped nyum. I think it's called, I don't remember, so we can extract a bunch of trees there, since we need a load of warped and warped wood. planks in particular, also AFK my Bone Mill Farm because we are going to use a lot of wood and I need to use my Wood Farm in addition to grinding some trees manually.
However, we started with our Wood Farm and we succeeded. some birch wood. I try to automate things when I can because it saves me a lot of time. However, you'll see here that there are some things that you simply can't automate or I haven't built the farms to automate them yet. By the way, I had to get a bunch of birch boards, so I was turning them into birch boards. We also needed some stripped birch wood so I did this myself as I find it's easier to get it from the timber farm than to take it down and put it up.
Etc. I also had to get a lot of terracotta, particularly orange terracotta and some white terracotta. Once again to melt all the sandstone that we gathered in the first clip, obviously the final stone and the sandstone got very similar colors, so we'll use both interchangeably in this build to add a little bit of different texture. I had to AFK my Mill Farm bone again. So I could get more acacia wood and also some mangrove wood. I really wish there was a mango wood farm. There could be. I think I should build it. I use this wood a lot.
We also had to go collect a bunch more. sand too and a little bit of dye to dye this sand into some concrete and also some glass. We also had to cut down some trees, some fir trees, collect some gold from our project last time as we needed some gold blocks and also get a load of Glowstone and redstone by trading with our villagers, one of the most uncomfortable materials that we had to get were our bookshelves to do some LEC turns, so you can see me here making some paper and using some leverage we had from killing cows in the past to make ourselves some books to turn into bookshelves and then turn them into reading turns , we really need to get more librarians so we can trade them in the future, like with the r you can see me using here, it's very fast to get emeralds too Redstone which is pretty good for those Redstone lamps, since yes, we are using a lot of Redstone lamps, as you can see there, but I'm happy to say we're almost done, all that was left to do was get some fire rods quickly and some granite and also. some Coral fans oh my gosh we are done with all the materials look at them 33 shulker boxes and we actually have a few more because this doesn't include the final stone and they are all pretty full apart from this one here as you can see many . materials that we now need to transport to the end, that we are going to have to make two trips because it is actually 42 Sher boxes, including all of this, that is so many materials, wait, let me do some calculations quickly.
I know that not all Sher boxes are full. but we have 1,134 piles of materials approximately, this is a little scary how many materials there are, oh there are so many different ones, plus it will take a long time to build them, but look, I'm literally going through them all just for It's fun now to see where everything is, there are So many, okay, let's put the pumpkin head back on, make sure we have plenty of food and rockets, and start building our biggest build in a video yet. This thing is huge and I can't wait. Everyone can see itin a time lapse in 3 2 1.
Now I can see that this is one of my longest

hardcore

videos we have done so far and there is a good reason to look at those passing days, each of which lasts 20 minutes, just because. This build took almost 10 and a half hours to put together. It's crazy, that's just the castle too. I'm not sure how long all of this has taken if we include all the other things too. I guess it's close to 100 hours. range if we include the design of the castle and the island itself, but wow, it's worth it when you see the final product here, you can see me building the walls and we actually modeled this after the castle from Tangled, except there was a I found a toy version that had a really good 360 degree view so I use that so it's probably not exactly like the one in the movie but if I put a photo of the toy on the screen now you can see what it was doing . because it is very similar to this toy and uses many different types of blocks.
Most of the time was spent flying back to my Ender Chest to get different blocks because I was walking over there to build some things and I just missed a block. I used so many rockets on this thing it took a long time, but here's the main structure built, so it's time to add the lanterns and I finally see the light, look at it, look at them, they appear. Ed something easy. By the way, place mode to help with this because oh my gosh it was going to take a long time but even though all the lanterns are already up and looking amazing we're not done yet because we wanted to add some flow to some rocks. bushes around the bottom and I looked at it and thought, you know what that's still not enough, so I went back to the Overworld, collected a bunch of spruce wood and some leaves and then we started building some trees in this place to give it a little more depth and you know, make it look a little more interesting because it seemed very empty on the island itself, but oh my goodness, we're done and over 250 days later, it's ready.
Look at it, I'm not going to show it, so you can't see it, but look at it, let's see it blown up. Look at it, oh my god. I'm very happy with this, look at it, it looks amazing. I wish I could play the copyrighted music with all the flashlights on, but I can't, so here's some singing, some shaders, and some cinematic shots, please forgive me, and I Finally See. the light and it's like the fog has lifted and I finally see the light and it's like the sky is new and it's warm and real, okay, there's enough of that, the shaders don't work very well in this version I think which because of all the dark spots, but it looks great with flashlights, especially because the glass turns bright and invisible, meaning the flashlights actually look like you let them into the sky.
I really really like the effect the shaders had too. look at this it looks so cool with shaders oh my god by the way here are all the repeat mod files of my build and that's not including the trees this is the most time I spent on any project in this world but I'm very happy. with that, look at it, look how cool it looks, it makes getting to the end a little better, although I still hate getting to the end because it's boring, there's nothing to do here but build, it's also really hard to get the scale of this . but if you look at it up close and personally you can see it's a little crazy it's really really big and I probably could have added more detail in these courtyards a little bit but you know what it is just to make my final island look a little bit . better and I think I did a good job there, but on 1980 I will return to the abyss.
Thank you very much for watching this video. It took me over a month to do it, so please go. like it, leave a comment. Subscribe if you're new and I'll see you in the Overworld, bye.
