Apr 04, 2024
Leather. We've done 88.2 111 miles, look at this like a computer, an old Atari Radio 2, uh, turn this down a little bit, everything got hot. Let's turn on the old Beast and then go straight up so my xgr wouldn't have this panel here. lots of buttons here, so we've got cruise control here, then we've got some buttons here to open the trunk, fogs, lights, V12 badge, no glovebox, although what strange shaggy carpets need a really good cleaning, everything under reasonable conditions. Although isn't it a small sunglasses bag? It's a shame, we have an auto dimming rearview mirror and it's broken, the fluid is in it, everything's gone, there's a light there, oh there we go, Magic Touch, look, the window turns on fine, everything works. mirrors yes mirrors seats with perfect memory you know what's there little bag for your money IAguess for your coins, should we give it a REV?

What beast are you ready, we got in here and now we have the cigarette lighter valet button, we never use pop, it goes back to where it belongs, why can't I get this to open properly anyway? Forget it. Will we drive the old V12 D6 and see how it performs in such a big car? Everything is pretty tight. The steering is nice, light and effortless, as all XJs are and should be. We have a rear blind. Do I have a button for it? I don't think we got it right, it's idling fine, it's nice and smooth as you'd expect.

More Interesting Facts About,

i bought a cheap rare daimler double six v12...

I can feel my air conditioning working, yes it is working very well, that sounds lovely. How is the gearbox quite smooth? I'll actually have to do some research here, but my old XJR. It had a Mercedes gearbox, it was a 5-speed Mercedes Source Gear. I guess I don't know about this. I don't know what they use for the V12. If it's a Mercedes unit again then it should be pretty reliable and it had a service in 2017 so at least I don't have to do one, funny right? There's a fully electric Audi Q4 rron that's supposed to be the future and what I'm in now is a bit of a dinosaur but I'd rather be in this well it handles well it's solid over bumps it doesn't hit the steering these seats feel beautiful They are very pretty and comfortable H what do I do with this? what I do?

I have some paint. To do the back door it needs a good detail it also needs a very good interior cleaning. I think I'll give the engine a service and run it through another mot2 with no advisory elements. What else can I do with it? This is one of those things that could be in stock for a long time because who wants an AP from me? I could do with restoring this wheel somehow, maybe send it to a handsome man and see if they can not know, not tire it, but stain it. or rye or something and for some reason I'm missing my furry mat, we have three but the drivers are missing which is a bit unfortunate, my heated seats work fine.

Does anyone else have the heated seat on and the air? conditioner Is it just that I'm weird when we leave town? I'm going to do a quick little acceleration test and see if my 314 horses are still there. This is simply an effortless fierce kick. It's not what you would call fast. I'll be honest, it's fitting, that's what Rolls-Royce used to say, wasn't it about power? They never tell anyone the power, they just say it was adequate, that's what it really feels like. I have to be careful with this that I don't spend a fortune on it because then I'm going to make a mistake very quickly.
I mean, even things like the headline, it's just sunken in the back. I did my extra eight because when you walked in it was like I know you're going in a tent or something, but in the front it's okay, it's just a little bit in the back, so I might try to live with that. I could really use Source on a new rearview mirror, that's a Dr. I could do H. What would you do with this? Let me know in the comments below. I wonder how many gallons we use per mile. Here's some way to find out.
Ah, we have a trip. Switch it. There we go. A heavy old thing, it's not so bad, is it? I just use my instant fuel here instant fuel 10 10 MPG oh 19 have hours of fun with this, such a proper old thing that lets you go on your orus, I didn't expect this to be the busiest function in the world. Go on, you can go too, here we go, beautiful, beautiful things, what a car, why do I like things like this? It's very strange, isn't it? Oh yeah, so I think I'll take this to the Car Wash for a quick wash and see what else it reveals.
I hope nothing more. I hope the rest is fine. It looks good, but it's so dirty it's hard to tell. I guess then guys I'll catch up. in a few days, well, who am I kidding in a few weeks? Once that's done, we'll see you then and we'll go back to the old V12 dler and take a look at it. I am very satisfied with this one I have. It's a little overspent, but I still think there's some profit in it, so overall I think it should be a pretty decent deal after our last conversation. I took it to Jimmy the Magician to paint it, if you remember, he was starting to peel. the back doors I think he seemed a little sorry for himself.
He just wanted it to look as good as possible. What happened next was that we all got a little carried away and ended up repainting a lot of them. It had a lot of it unpainted, which means of course it had quite a big bill, but I still think it was worth every penny, it looks splendid now. This is what happens when you drive a dler and start using words like Splendid. I've never said that in my life. saying Cheerio, next I took him to the mechanics, you're probably thinking I did this in the wrong order, but Jimmy was free, this is going to be a pretty big job, so I thought I better get him.
I did it first and then took it to my mechanics, so I asked them to give it the service I wanted, without elements of advice and just a general check, and everything went pretty well. I got away with this one, my bill was several hundred, but not even close. As bad as I thought it was, we put it on the ramp and it is in very good condition. I even took some photos of it and added it to my website for everyone to see, you really never know with an old Jaguar, it could have been rotten, luckily that wasn't all it really needed, it wasn't light bulbs.
I couldn't believe it from there, so what did I do with it next? I was trying to find a replacement rear view mirror but they weren't all exactly the same, xjs or whatever came out later and it just wasn't right so unfortunately I'll have to keep looking for this one being a bit ruined as they often do , which is a bit of a shame, but still. It works, so at least for now it's fine. I can live with him. Then I dropped it off in New York with the detail guys for a full detail valet and it came out very, very good.
I mean, the outside was fine anyway because it had a charge. of paint, but the interior was a little dirty and a little dirty and now looks particularly nice. I finally got it working again and my colleague photographed it and it is now on the website for 8995. I thought a lot about the price. I knew I had to get the price right if I set it too high because it's

rare

that no one is going to buy it if it's too low, so I lose the opportunity to make any profit and I think 8995 leaves me with a pretty decent price.
Margin. I will review it with you shortly. I'll calculate exactly what I spent, but for now, until we get there, I'm just enjoying the serenity of driving this old V12 engine that really has a lot of class. I don't really feel like I'm in a car from 1996. It's getting going, right? But it still feels pretty modern. It really is a good place to leave your car. Very good GTI drivers. It's been a Give Me 6. Move it. I really like it. What happens to this car when you put your foot down? I mean, other than the fuel gauge moving, it obviously picks up speed really well, it's so quiet and smooth, right, right, right, so where should we start?
Let's start with the purchase price, then. I paid £5,000 for this old uh damler. My bill with Jimmy was: Let's see what exactly he did. Carry out repairs. Paint level. First class work. my total bill is quite a bit of money, but considering the amount of time and effort put into this, it's not a bad price, really there are also big panels on the old X j1650 £1,650, so this is the electricity really my bill from mechanic oil filter £462 oil £79.90 must take a lot of oil this wasn't like that uh bulbs £12 labor 132 mot test fee £40 my total was £326 22 then my bill then with the details guys MCR cost £225 , I never spent anything else, there is always something I forget, I should always make a note, right?
But I'm too busy, I think that's all. I haven't replaced the plates yet. I must do it. I might order some plates of retro dishes. you know, from Straton and Mayfair or something just to make it look a little cooler. I'm a nerd like that anyway. I don't think I've spent anything else that brings my total to 7.21, so 7201, so it's at an 8995, which it should with a gain of 700 H, it's not that bad, so it really is. I'm quite happy with that. I could have been greedy and put it up for more because it's a really weird car, but I'd rather spin it around quickly and you know, move on to something else, well I guess that's it, so guys, I'm going to enjoy a very smooth ride right now. back to the garage, see what I mean, garage, not garage anyway.
Cheerio see you later thanks for seeing us until next time
