that I just got back from a class at my martial school. academy of arts a couple of clips from there. I've been using a lot of single shots on the samsung

galaxy

s 20 ultra, obviously that's what we're using in this video, a lot of the photos and videos you're seeing and this piece are taken from the phone, so make sure you keep an eye out for the corner or it could be right underneath, right around here, so you know when I'm using the s-1 and you can evaluate the video and photo quality for yourself. in 8k footage it's not really something I feel like I'll use much.

More Interesting Facts About,

galaxy s20 ultra real world camera test wow...

It's cool that it's enabled here in part because of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that's here helping to provide that level of processing, but it's not actually footage. I would use it all the time, even if it's super high resolution and looks pretty good, especially in the right conditions, and then the 8k footage is actually a 1.5x crop compared to any 4k footage you can get, that by the way, the 4k footage. it allows you to use the other lenses for wide angle and zoom 4, so while there may be other 8k clips that you'll see in this video, remember to check the bottom so you can see what I'm using while using this. phone, it's not something I'm going to lean on too much if I'm completely honest, this shot may seem a little less practical but to be honest it's a little more fun, you get the angle of light from the rear turn.

Press the volume button and then you'll get a nice wide shot, something that's more like a traditional flop. Here's something I want to try, but unfortunately I won't be able to see the differences until I have these clips on my computer. Basically there's an HDR 10 plus mode in or not really as a setting and apparently it's going to change the dynamic range and from my cursory look at a couple of clips I shot with it it looks like it changes the contrast and a bit of the colors makes it a little flatter, I think here I just turned on the HDR 10 plus mode or setting.
galaxy s20 ultra real world camera test wow
I keep saying mode, but yeah, I'll take a look at this later and see if all of these wonderful colors right behind me are actually a little bit off, that way I can increase the saturation. I'll probably zoom in on the actual camera and talk about what this mode means for people who are actually trying to create vlogs using just this smartphone. Well, it turns out that's exactly what it was. The HDR 10 plus setting on the galaxy s 20 ultra is basically a so-called flat profile so it's really nice to see there's something like that because that's exactly what I use for my main cameras I've used it with the gh 5 which is my aerial rig right now and basically what it does is allow you to get a little bit more dynamic range in a shot because a lot of the contrast is wide, which you can then add later in your video editor.
The same goes for the colors, which are much more muted. That way you can color them really well in a way that gives it a specific look, if that's what you're going for, it's kind of fun. because when you look through the viewfinder or if you're looking at the gallery app with the HDR 10 Plus footage, it still looks pretty normal, but you can go into the gallery app, get the HDR 10 plus footage and reconvert it into HDR 10 plus footage. more conventional look, so after the first part of the weekend, my main takeaways are that point where that one shot is fun to use and something you can lean on, especially in situations where you're not sure exactly what you want.
I'm trying to capture, but also the zoom levels are fun to use even if they don't produce very sharp results after 10 times, but as I learned a little later at the LA Arboretum, those zoom levels would be useful and I've already been able to take some really great photos of them using the zoom levels. I actually only go up to ten times, although I'll end up trying the 30 times out of the 100 times a little more tomorrow, but for today some good, some good. photos of these peacocks I'm using a switch with a phone holder to get these particular shots that way I can get a little further away from the front camera, you know me.
I like blogs with smartphones and it looks like the Samsung. Galaxy S 20 ultra will be a great tool because there are so many options and so many cool things you can do with it. I have to tell you that it's quite difficult to get a consistent shot at 100 times, which is obvious, but yeah. I just experienced that right now with that sign that was there, but yeah, it was interesting just trying to think of the words exactly the way I wanted to write them, they're like, oh, come on, do it, do it. I'm facing one of those classic dilemmas when it comes to a smartphone, everything looks great in the viewfinder right now, especially when I have it at the right angle using the switch, the video looks great, obviously it's 4k video on the front.
It's always a good perspective, but we'll see later how the images look on a computer, but for now I'll say that the front camera has a wide enough angle that you can get some pretty effective log shots, especially if you use a tool like this, it changes very well, I realized that there is a function or rather a use for the 30 times zoom, the 100 times zoom, in this case it is the 30 times zoom, but do you ever try to get a picture of a whirlpool and the moment you get a little closer they just run away, well, look at this.
I'm not trying to bother anyone when it comes to zoom levels. I just still don't think it's going to be very practical for most people. For those of you who are interested in street photography or maybe nature photography, it's nice to have up to 10 times zoom and then it's just a novelty paste that you can get as close to as the eyes of a squirrel or something like that 100 times. Zooming is a great thing to achieve on a smartphone, but it's not with a Safari lens before we get into the last part of this real-world camera

This probably won't surprise anyone, but with the phone that has up to 100x zoom I wanted to go somewhere I could actually be zooming in on things that I think you might like to see and of course, right there is the sign Hollywood and behind me is the Griffith Observatory, one of the main places in Los Angeles that you can go to get that kind of information.
Look at a famous landmark that you know up close, right in front of a beautiful building like this. This is when a wide angle lens really comes in handy. You can see in these shots that I can see the entire building in the frame and the crowd and I move upwards, although once the sides of the building are just cut off, so yes, wide angle is always useful, especially for many of these tourist areas where there will be a lot of people around and you can get too far away from what you want to take a photo.
As far as the front camera's 40-megapixel images go, they're actually pretty detailed, but one reason is because all the little improvements Samsung's camera puts into selfies are muted. You are using all the power of the sensor but there is no beautification. There is no softness. There is nothing else on top. It's a raw pit, not really raw, but yeah. just like a raw captured photo. I don't know how effective this will be, but I'm trying to get a hyperlapse. It's called a hyperlapse, but it's a time lapse of the Hollywood sign with some clouds overhead. It rained yesterday, but so much. clubs today I hope this shot turns out pretty well.
I'm going to let it go a little longer than I normally would this yeah, the clouds didn't give me much there, the Griffith Observatory with all the people passing by probably will. It will be better, but now that I have the phone on a tripod I can do the zoom levels and make sure it's stable. That's one of the biggest problems with going beyond 10x is that it's hard to keep your hands steady so you can get a clear shot, let's see what the Hollywood sign looks like with this tripod and there you have it, take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S 20 altra in this long vlog that is also a real-world camera test, there are certain scenarios that I couldn't cover in this video, what I really wish I could do is do zoom portraits.
That's one of the things you want from a portrait shot: a far lens that way you can compress the background and just have the frame focus on your subject with live focus turns on and then zooms in, you can achieve shots like that, but in case you haven't noticed by now, while I was recording this last weekend, I was alone, I wasn't really out of the house. with anyone I could actually take portraits of from that kind of distance and I wasn't going to ask strangers to do it either, I just don't feel that comfortable with it, I'm not a street photographer and I don't do street portraits either so I wasn't going to get close to no Rando on the street because I feel kind of bad doing that so if you get this phone and you have all those zoom levels, don't be a creep, but yeah.
My main takeaway so far is that the camera experience here is solid, it's one of the most feature-rich smartphone cameras I've ever used and even in just a weekend of using this phone I've already taken up like 50 gigs on Here Apps are included, but it's still pretty easy to fill space on this thing, so it's nice there's an SD card slot. Well, you'll want to have plenty of storage if you're going to be using this for much of your time. creative efforts, but okay, before this video gets too long, I'm going to go ahead and mention it in this case.
This was the real-world camera test for the Samsung Galaxy S 20 Ultra 5G.
