I always go the extra mile and I really don't like losing. So, I'm not even going to lie when I first read this comment, I was a little nervous about doing this challenge, but after looking at the entire palette and planning everything out in my head, I think I'll actually be able to finish this challenge. Of course, there will be some complications along the way, when it comes to similar bases and other things like that, but we will get through them together. With all that being said, I'm really excited to dive in and without further ado let's unleash our inner artist and do a

full

face

of

makeup

using

just my palette. (upbeat music) Alright guys, to make sure my sister passes this challenge today, I think I'm going to follow the same order as my normal makeup routine and just replace each step along the way so I don't miss any.

More Interesting Facts About,

full face of makeup using only my palette...

And of course, you guys know first: I always make my foundation to leave a light base. Now, looking at this palette, we've already run into a bit of a problem. Now, you and I are sisters, so let's be honest with each other. We all know that I'm not exactly the best at combining my foundation, there's no need to talk about it, thank you. So if I had to use one of the shades in the palette, my options would be bright white, bright yellow, orange, which happens a lot anyway, and super, super pale. None of which seem to really be viable options.

So, I posted a poll on my Instagram story and asked you guys, I said: should I start with my foundation already in front of the camera and follow every other step after using just the palette or should I not cheat and literally skip the base? And literally with 2% of votes, don't cheat, no foundation won with 51%. So, I guess today we're going to do a no-foundation makeup look. I'm not exactly sure how it will work. I'm having a pretty good skin day today thank goodness, but I'm definitely very red so I'm hoping this calms down during the video process.

Anyway, I guess we'll move on to the next step. Well, after the foundation we have the concealer, which I can't do, and after the concealer we have the powder, which I can do, but it's pointless if I'm not putting anything in its place. So after the powder, I guess we're done with the contour. So we definitely have a lot of options when it comes to tanning, but that will be the next step. So to contour, I'm going to take my M405 brush, which is in my brush set, and I'm going to dip it into the shadow.
I think Punch Me could be a pretty good contouring color. It's one of the

only

cool-toned browns in the palette. So let's try it. Something good. Okay, a little more. Just a light chisel. Okay, down, down for this. I think I want to keep it pretty light when it comes to

face

makeup just because a lot of contouring, blush, and highlights can look a little strange on my normal skin when there's no foundation underneath to even it all out. OMG guys, my face could match my body for once. Okay, this doesn't look very good anymore because this shade is very, very cool toned, but my face is very, very red and they are coming together to form an orange color.
Do I even want to tan? Maybe we'll just go light. Lastly, before I use the bronzer, I'll grab the E62, this one comes in my brush set, it's a custom brush that I made and I use it for contouring my nose. I'm going to grab some more Punch Me and go down the side of the bridge. Oh God, that doesn't look good. Oh Lord! I guess the nice thing about not having a foundation is that I can literally erase it if it looks stupid. What are those? Oh, it's the marks on my glasses, you're literally kidding.
People who wear glasses really know the struggle as these red marks are permanently embedded in my skin forever and I have been wearing these contact lenses all day. Look how rude. That doesn't seem good. Okay, we'll make it work. To tan, I'll take my M527 brush and dip it in the shade Code James. Now, this shade is very, very pigmented, so what we're not going to do is make me look orange. Ah, too late. Oh God, it's okay. Oh my gosh, you guys really did me right with this whole having no foundation thing, Jesus. Maybe if I really like to mix it up, it won't be, oh, that's bad.
Oh my gosh, do you know what's so good about this? Look at this, I'm going to grab a makeup remover wipe. If I go like this. Beautiful and chiseled. It doesn't look good. (scoffs) For the blush, I'm going to take my E4 brush and dip into the shadow, which is literally this metallic pinkish peach shade. This is one of my all-time favorite shades in the palette and I feel like it gets a little overlooked in some of the reviews I see, so I want to show it some love. This shade is beyond gorgeous and I added it to the palette to be a perfect blush type of shade to mix your bronzer and highlighter with.
It's like, Oh my God, I'm obsessed. She looks a little intense. I think I'm also going to apply a light layer of highlighter to make the face work. So I'm going to quickly spritz her face with Prep and Set Setting Spray. Literally everyone's favorite, you guys need this in your lives. And I'm going to take the shade Face on my M501, this one comes in the brush set. Okay, let's put it there. A little above the brow bone as always. I love a good glow here, can you imagine what it would be like to have good even skin and be able to do this and not have it look disgusting?
Then, a little bit also to the tip of the nose. This highlighter is really intense when you don't have a foundation underneath. Oh Lord. I'll come back to base later and see if there's anything we can do to fix it. So the next step will be the eyebrows and I'm already a little worried about this step. I'm not even going to lie. My Anastasia Brow Wiz is my favorite pencil in the whole world and every time I'm asked in interviews, if you could bring three makeup products to a desert island, what would they be? That's always the first one I say because I've literally had a huge eyebrow transformation and using any other product gives me a boost.
Including eyebrow powders which I absolutely hate. So eyeshadow is really no different. For the brows, I'll take my M158 brush, which also comes in the brush set, and dip it into the shade Tea in the top right corner. This is a cool dark brown shade and I'm going to fill in the brows. I'm going to start by drawing the tail and then drawing the bottom line. I'm trying to keep a very, very light hand because I definitely don't have many cool brown toned options in the palette and I want to be able to layer and add dimension so I don't have sharp brows. .
So to do that I think I just want to define the queue. This is actually a pretty good color for my eyebrows. I'm just going to use the end of that brush to blend anything on the front of the brow. Okay, come on, that's not so bad. Okay, let's try the other eyebrow too. Sorry guys, I'm literally so quiet that I just know that I don't really have any options when it comes to making this look good. So, I'm trying to focus. Clearly makeup has no rules but that's why I will never understand how people do their eyebrows first before anything else because this seems literally crazy.
Oh my God. (applause) Ready to move on. Moving on we have the next step which will be, of course, the eyeshadow, which is my favorite part of the entire routine. We can use the palette for what it's really meant to look really good and fresh. I decided not to cheat and not do foundation in honor of you, but when it comes down to it, I'm going to cheat and use just a little bit of eyeshadow base. This is the P. Louise base, it is literally one of the best bases in the entire world. I learned about this product from many of my favorite international artists, such as Mama Mama Mitchell and Stacey Marie MUA and Kaylie.
They are all incredibly talented and it works very well for all of them and I have had amazing results with this as well. And I know a lot of you were worried about the fact that I recommended an eye primer or a pot of MAC paint. This product here is also an excellent alternative. I will use a little of this to clean the eyebrow using the M410 brush, this comes in my brush set. And then with one of the flat concealer brushes from the brush set, this is the M224. I'm going to take a little bit more of that from the back of my hand, tap off any excess, and use it in just little patting motions all over my eyelid.
Just to lay a light foundation for the look I'm going to do. So we're going to keep it pretty neutral in the shades we use when it comes to my face. Clearly, I want to go in and play with some different colors when it comes to the actual eyeshadow. Why not unleash our inner artist together? I think I want to do a sunset smoky eye with a blue and purple lid. Yeah guys, we'll just do that and hope it looks good. Alright, I went ahead and brought them a little closer so we can focus on the look together and make sure we get all the details.
First I'm going to take my M456 brush and dip it in some of the mixture of the Cola and Escape shades and pack this literally right into that outer V. I'm not going to put too much here because I have a lot. There are a lot of colors I need for this eye look today and the last thing I want is for it to get really, really messy. Next, I'm going to take another M456 brush and dip it into the shade Single, which is a bright purple, and I'm going to use this shade to blend that edge.
Make sure you keep this again very, very low to the eyelid because we have a lot of colors. I'm basically putting this purple right on top of those two dark shades just to blend the edges. Going back with the other brush and adding some darkness again. Then, taking M433 to continue the sunset, I'll take the shade You're Kidding, literally my favorite red in the whole world. And I'm going to polish, once again, that line. I'm trying to do it with a bit of a light hand because this red is incredibly pigmented and I still have a few more colors I need to add on top.
That's why I don't want it to go up too much. So once again, use those stamping and patting motions to get the pigment on there first, and then just lightly swipe to blend it out. Going back to using Single to make sure we don't lose that purple in that combination. Next, we'll take another M456 and dive into shade 518, which is bright neon orange. And I'm going to spread the red. And I'm definitely taking my time, especially since we're getting closer to the eyebrow. I don't want all the colors to be muddy. And finally, a little more Single.
Lastly, I'll take some Bee on an M514 brush and use it to burnish the final orange edge. Now that the eye situation has finally been resolved. OMG, not wearing foundation is literally not the move. I think I want to do a touch of blue on the actual eyelid. So you should probably cut the fold first. First I'm going to dip into the shade Acapella on my M124 and give it a quick spritz of my setting spray and first I'm going to apply this directly to the outer area of the lid, just patting and moving that shade directly. there.
I'll probably also put about two white halves on the lid and bring them up to the cut crease line. And then with whatever is left, I'm just going to go in and slightly move the brush between the transition area so these two blend together. I'm going to go back with my original brush that I literally used first and a little bit of Glue just to pat on that transition, just to make sure it's nice and smooth. And then with the same brush, I'm going to dive into the shade Hello, which is the shimmery metallic teal shade.
A little more setting spray and I'll place this shade on the inner half of the eyelid. And then to blend them together, I'm just going to start tapping that edge with whatever's left of Hello. Last but not least, because why not, I'll just dip some Artistry on my finger and tap it right above my eyelid. For the bottom lashes, I'll start with a little bit of You're Kidding, right against the lashes. And then just a little bit of Bee to mix it well. Featuring a cute mini M152 brush, two of these come in the brush set.
I'm going to take a little bit of Escape and use this last but not least, just to place it right against the lash line for a little bit of dimension and connect it with that little outer wing that we created. To complete this eye look, I'm just going to take one last brush of pencil and apply the shade Bee and place it very heavily in the inner corner. And then with a little detail brush, this one's not even in the brush set. I don't know where I found this, I'm going to dive into a mix of the Ringlight and So Good shades.
Give it a quick little spritz and I'm going to place this shade right on top of that yellow. I love it when my shadows aretoo pigmented. I'll just take some Bee and go over it to tone it down a little bit. I never thought I'd say that when it comes to highlighting the inside corner. I'm going to use that exact same mixture and pop a little bit on my brow bone. And I think, finally, that's a completely complete eye. Oh my god, guys. I don't know why it took me so long. I still struggle with sunset smoky eyes every time I do them.
I generally don't understand how some people can fit so many colors in so little space. Literally, this little space has to have eyebrow highlights, yellow, orange, red, magenta, purple, and darker purple. Like what? How do you do that? I don't know. Clearly, but this seems fine. It's my best? No. Is it my worst moment? Definitely not. So in that case I'm happy and ready to move on to the other eye, which I'll do now off camera so you guys don't have to sit here and stare at me for another two hours. I'll be right back. Very good, hello!
I'm back and those are both eyes done and complete. And now I'm definitely ready to move on. There really isn't much left in this look that I can do with the palette, but we'll try. So, I think one thing I really want to address is my patchy skin. As I put more and more makeup on my eyes, it became very evident that I wasn't wearing any foundation, like I said, I'm not used to this. I wish I had even skin because this look is beyond beautiful and I wish I could rock it and feel confident while doing it, but I really don't.
So I want to cover a little bit if possible. What I'm going to do is take a beauty blender that I wet in the sink but drained completely like there's literally no moisture in this, and dip into the shade Canvas. It's like the pale tone that sets the eyelids. And I'm going to put this here and see if it works well. Oh, we'll do a lot of this. Oh my god, here we go. Oh Lord! OMG I literally should have covered my entire face with this. I can't believe I haven't tried this before. I think I probably assumed that Canvas was too light for my skin tone, but it clearly isn't and of course we can always adjust it with bronzer.
I don't know where my mind was during this, I really should have thought about this too because I've been looking at some reviews and what was so cool, and I actually saw a few different girls using the Tune guy. which is the type of banana-peach shade that is used as an under-eye setting powder for darker skin tones. What genius. It's literally great to see so many different people trying different techniques. If you have a similar skin tone to me and are doing a

full

face using just one eyeshadow palette, Canvas is a great base color. I think just for fun, I want to add some fake freckles to this look.
One, because they are very, very cute and two because they will distract from my other skin going on. So, I'm going to take a little eyeliner brush. This is the E37 and dive into Tea. This may be a little dark, let's see. Not tea. Well, you know, maybe I'll do some of them in Tea, so let's look at the darker ones. Simply placing a few dots everywhere. To add a little bit of a sunburn effect, I'm going to take a little bit of Punch Me and dip it in a little bit of 10% off and put it right on top, and kind of like Place that.
Okay, that's pretty much the complete face and I guess the last and final step will be the lips, I'm not exactly sure how that will work but we'll give it a try. I'm going to grab an M124 brush once again and dip into the shade Mary, which is probably the best nude lip shade in this palette, and see what happens. Oh Lord! Are you kidding! I will tell you that it is very difficult to get a precise line. This lip color is disgusting but it is a lip color. Maybe if I do, okay, I'll put a little Flashback maybe in the middle.
Rather it has flash like everywhere else. This literally

only

works because my lips are so dry right now. Maybe a little shine will make it look a little shiny. Oh Lord. (upbeat electronic music) Very good sisters! And I think it's this full face using only my palette, everything complete! As I said at the beginning of this video, going into this challenge today I was a little nervous because you guys know I go big or go home on everything and I don't like to lose. But, once I looked at the entire palette and figured out what I wanted to do, I felt a lot more confident and was ready to go.
That being said, I am very, very happy and proud of today's final result. I think this looks incredibly beautiful and honestly it's hard to say I did this without other products, but getting here definitely wasn't easy. I feel like I would have overcome this challenge and literally had no problems if I had done Canvas on the entire face first. I don't know why, but I just didn't think about it and my brain literally can't work on makeup backwards, I just have to have a foundation, which is what I feel really threw me off. The contour, highlights and blush could be a little better.
The little sister is stained, but like I said, if it had a foundation, it probably wouldn't have that problem. Same thing with the eyebrows, I didn't really have anything to stick to, so they look like, okay. They're not the worst eyebrows, they're definitely not the best eyebrows I've ever done. Anastasia honey, I'm so sorry for betraying you because of this video. As for the actual eyeshadow, I don't know why my sister was struggling to do a mid-cut sunset crease. I do these types of looks all the time, but for some reason I couldn't blend it today.
That being said, I think the end result is incredibly beautiful. I am in love with this eye look and I think it highlights both the blue tones and all the warm tones in the palette incredibly beautifully. I definitely think adding fake freckles was a really cool touch. I can't believe using a dark brown shade like Tea literally worked for this, but I used it very, very lightly and I definitely think it distracted from some of the spots on the skin. So I'm really, really glad I added that and for the lips, I can't believe this worked, period.
It definitely doesn't look amazing. I wouldn't leave the house with these lips on but that being said, to literally start with the eyeshadow palette, it's not bad. Regardless of how this final look turned out, I had a lot of fun doing this challenge. Oh Lord. You guys know I love to push myself, so thank you so much to everyone who suggested this.
