everything

wrong

with victorious, that was the first woman who started this whole terrible experience.
everything wrong with america s next top model
I've done

everything

wrong

with iCarly and recently I've done everything wrong with Glee, so if you want to see those three, they'll probably be linked up here and then down here, maybe if I remember in today's video, well, I'm really excited at today's video. I will continue the series with America's Next Top. Model so system background America's Next Top Model started in 2003 and was one of the first competitive reality shows that basically

model

ed the show. Now I'm pretty sure it's officially over because for multiple reasons, but after running 24 cycles and they're called cycles, not seasons, so Tyra Banks is the host of the show, except for one season we're not talking about. of Tyra Banks, the world famous super

next

top model, that's the premise of the whole show, so since this is a research based video, I do a lot of research for these videos. I didn't have time to watch all 24 cycles, please. I didn't have time to do that, but the cycles I saw I saw 3. I just had to choose something from the beginning, middle and late, so I saw 3 4 11 20 21 22 and 24 those are the cycles I have seen. So, that's what I'm reusing in this video. If you have seen more and have more evidence on any point that I can present, please tell me, so yes, I saw the Moses cycles that I watch and I got the gist of it, please.

I'm going to continue watching the show because I like it and the reason I like it is basically what's wrong with the entire show, but I'll talk about that later, so first I want to start by stating a few things that I haven't realized this is all I've been watching for the last two or three weeks, which is also damn live viewing like Ray's Anatomy, but I was pretty focused on America's Next Top Model-centric mode while watching Tyra Banks from the show. be a sociopath like I'm not a psychologist so I can't say that officially and also this is on the internet so I can't say it officially because it could be like a slander but what I've seen on my screen is The last few weeks are not going good with my spirit, what I have seen these contestants do is not good with my spirit and I will talk about that later too, in my personal opinion, I asked people on Twitter.

It was like what's the most mentally damaging reality competition show you could ever watch. I think

next

time in the United States it will take the cake. In my opinion, I would go crazy with this program. I think I'd be pretty good at it if I wanted to. You know, my appearance changed, but I think this is probably the most mentally demanding show you could be on besides Survivor, naked and scared because you're in the woods and I, so this show had the potential to cause psychological damage. so severe. to the girls and guys on this show and if they didn't sign almost Tyra from NDA and all the judges that signed her, as well as the CW, because that was a network that was made once I discovered that it all made sense when One Kind huge CW.
I thought, oh, okay, I may have changed networks for the last few seasons, but at first I thought that makes a lot of sense. This is on CW. CW in the hands of Riverdale, in case you didn't know. I don't think this show would be allowed on the air today because there are a couple of different reasons why one would have no purpose, that's why the show ended now because it has no purpose. I'll talk about that later. canceled and someone would be arrested, which is why I think this show wouldn't work today, which is why I think I have to say that I like this show, I enjoy watching it, but you can enjoy it and still see the fundamental flaws. with the show and what it does, people's self-esteem and value that speaks to us now, so this show, in my opinion, is one of the best competitive reality shows on television and the reasons why it is one of The best competitive reality shows on television are all wrong. with the series the things that made these girls do the things that are sick of this show is what creates this almost perfect cold chalice perfectly calculated a reality television show is literally the UM that is the formula that has follows the formula that Everything competitive reality show should stick with it, it's what made it so interesting to watch and what makes it even if you look like a cycle before and you know who wins it's still interesting to watch and in my opinion that doesn't happen on a lot of competitive shows . reality shows, so first I want to start with the conditions that the contestants lived in because, well, first there's the house, so the iconic basically renovated house where they lived is a key component in every reality competition.
I'm sure anyone who has ever sat around a large group of people for months at a time, i.e. like a roommate or suitemate, misses that a mess always arises because oh, hey, ah, I couldn't do it, so on America's Next Top Model, they actually lived in worse conditions than college, which is my God, it was about 20 people every week living together in a house because you can imagine the dirt, the squalor. , the slums because we saw that those houses would get dirty and, of course, they did. No one wants to, no one cleans, no one cleans, and they're basically locked in a glorified, decorated airplane hangar for months.
Can you imagine each of these houses, unless it was the season I just watched the suit cycle at 11? I have the best house you can see. Usually it's literally a warehouse with beds and it's decorated with Tyra's face everywhere, which I'll talk about later, which is a giant problem, so here are the reasons why this show is so good and that is why they all competed directly with each other. and it had to but it also had to coexist together a breeding ground for disorder a breeding ground for madness I don't like the most competitive reality shows, do all the things around the house because if you want the drama to start and make them live together, period, period and also I'm a 1 and they would get their own suite room Tyra, it was a big deal because you don't have to be around hoes and at home because that's how human beings work, friendships are formed super super fast.
Alliant is formed. in the first two episodes, but then they disappeared in the next episode because you were around these people 24/7 and also had no privacy, we as viewers saw every single thing that happened to them to these contestants. I've seen people having sex on night vision cameras more than five times on the show you sign up for this you sign up for this to become America's Next Top Model you everything is invaded everything is invaded and that's the next part psychological torture psychological torture of this show so this is a modeling competition so there are bound to be some mental health issues among the competitors and what did Tyra and Klan do absolutely nothing absolutely nothing absolutely nothing and psycho for a girl who had a literal eating disorder a literal eating disorder? the whole house knew about tyranny and in the same episode where she was told she had an eating disorder, she went home because she had said they hadn't given her help, she was just made fun of on my show, it was just a big deal problem.
It's a dramatic thing, but there was really nothing there to help her. This is a modeling program. You would think that they would go out of their way to go and help solve the eating disorder. This is a modeling program, but no, and if we see what this program is. seeing in real time the deterioration of people's mental health, that's what we're seeing in the 12 episodes of a cycle, it's a little crazy, the main difference between the other America's Next Top Model shows because you can argue that all competitive reality shows have something like that. It's like going crazy for 12 weeks, the thing is America's Next Top Model just judges how you look, other shows judge how you cook, how you solve problems, how you convey things, how you interact with other people, this show judges you by how you look that's it there's no other they don't take personality into account when they do it when they choose them when a personality you're like Mimi it's what you look like and that plus all these shenanigans literally a catastrophe a mental health catastrophe OMG So this show makes fun of the competitors' insecurities, like in Psycho for Kenya, throughout the seat cycle, she was gaining weight and was prepared to deal with it.
She says: I'm very insecure about this and what they do and one by one upstairs so that they don't dress up as animals they give her an elephant they make her dress up as an elephant when she has been very vocal about the fact that she is very insecure about her weight gain an elephant on cycle 23 Brendy her insecurities that she looks too masculine, so what does Tyra do? She gives him a haircut in the makeover episode. And this show also gave people insecurities that they didn't have before coming to this show. It's like three Kelly, which is a black girl.
I'll go into more later she left thinking she was ugly she came to the show she was like she was hot but you know it was coffee whatever and she left thinking she was the ugliest person in the whole world they gave her that they told her that They said you're not as pretty as you think. They said you won't put that Nick at all and why would you do that? Why did you do that in cycle four? Michelle instead of this. She really pissed me off instead of socializing. Michelle had these skin like things all over her face, they looked disgusting, but instead of quietly taking her to the dermatologist and being like that and fixing it, which is what they did in the end, they created the whole charade of her. absolutely ridiculous farce they let the other girls in the house start a rumor that Michelle had a flesh-eating bacteria on national television they let the rumor spread that this girl because she had burns on her face had a flesh-eating bacteria and instead of biting that rumor at the root they let it run for two days before taking her to the dermatologist to fix her very treatable bacterial infection and a very normal bacterial infection.
Medicines. I tell you that these are medications that Tyra did not take. This is my king. Tyra loved to act like she was a licensed therapist because she did two one-on-one talks with the girls and always acted like it was a big deal that she, Tyra Banks, was going to sit these girls down. and talk about her mental health what they wouldn't talk about she be like how are you feeling today? I'm fine, fine, next girl, nothing more than nothing, they would never get below the surface level because there are 15 of them that they couldn't. t and she tries to do this so that the audience forgets all the Arabic what is the word beer and civil that she did and did for liability reasons because maybe they can't sue her because I was like, well, I asked you if you were okay.
What she's done, she's done a lot, a lot, but I'm going to go over it. I think these are my four best or worst for what she did because these are the ones where I had to take a step back from the Kailyn show in Psycho. because her friend died the night before the next day it's time to take photos, guess where this photo shoot is, the photo shoot is in a cemetery, that's not all, the photo shoot is in a cemetery, but actually They are taking the photos in an eight-foot grave. her friend died the day before her friend died the day before, and the next day she is supposed to pose on an eight-foot grave for Tyra.
She was also like Oh for Keenya expresses concern that the male model is sexually harassing her and what did I do? she has a problem with JJ he's like her art creative director he has a bunch of bullies and they never call him he basically gets mad at Kenya and says you shouldn't let it bother you and it shouldn't affect your photography. the way you model the male model is sexually harassing her so he gets mad at her and then she has to continue the photo shoot with him and then go out to dinner with him for the show and no one got stabbed hmm season three cycle three this is a member that eliminated me, so Amanda is, you know, one of the girls, she's legally blind, she's legally blue, she's legally blind, so they run, they have like a catwalk challenge and, usually Amanda goes out because she's legally blind, she goes out and looks. on the track to make sure he can walk on her because she is legally blind, but the challenge of this was that they said, "We don't wantWe want you to see the track, we want you to see it when you walk for the first time." and then Amanda says, "Can I go see the track?
Because I'm legally blind. No, no, it's a miracle she didn't fall. She didn't mind. nothing happened, but the woman was basically an obstacle course. That's basically what it was and I was like they did that why would you want her to fail? was she going to fail? I think they wanted that. I think they thought she was going to fail miserably, but she didn't. Amanda killed that and she should have gotten much higher than she did in that cycle because she was sick and then the date makes your baby. be more important than your modeling career.
I don't have to say anything else with that tire base that came out of his mouth that's enough for me that's literally lights out cut but close the curtains that was done. , we're done, let's watch this video, we're done, that's sick hello just a dad, something because I forgot about cycle 24, one of the models, Gina, did quite an Enzo, first of all, I love her, she should have won. I'm not going to get into that she made a little Instagram light exposing America's Next Top Model and Tyra Banks basically saying what I'm saying this video except the text.
I'm a confirmed source, the program is active so you thought you wanted to add it. You can probably find it on YouTube, but I met him. I'll link it below a video to the full Instagram life and then. That's sick, that's twisted, now let me have a second water before I get into racism, yes, racism, yes, racism, there's a lot of it, so this show hates Asian men and black women like the rest of the show does. world. That really wasn't a big surprise to me. One, Justin Kim should have won his cycle, if not, when he should have made it to the last two of his cycle.
I won't go into that because then I'll start yelling at this camera and I don't think people want that. moving on the show is a huge microaggression being on this show is the experience of watching it seems like one giant microaggression these are some of the words that are constantly used to criticize a black girl, specifically a dark skinned black girl, the photos they could be a ghetto ratchet constantly thrown psycho three Tiffany who didn't have who was her second time doing it for the second time I listened to the show this is a direct quote I'm pretty sure Jay he called her she was doing a photo shoot and he He said she looked like a crack-toasted Miss Piggy.
I don't understand. I realize. I don't understand how the show was allowed to air. That's not something you should say. My first concern is how do you think? How do you think about that? That's one, two, how do you say that to another human being? A crack-toasted Miss Piggy and Tiffany at the time was the darkest girl on the show. The black cumin in this program. The black contestants on the show were. The black woman was not allowed to express her feelings or the contempt or her emotions of being micro breasted because they were constantly being micrographed by the judges by Tyra for the other contestant that is what they were experiencing they were not allowed to argue any of their difficulties unless the show needed socioeconomic diversity unless the show needed some socioeconomic some people unless they needed that was the only time black models were allowed to discuss their difficulties and that's sick and twisted, but you know who was a laptop of their difficulties, you know who was giving the green light, but the light-skinned mixed girls, the light-skinned mixed girls were allowed to cry and cry and fawn and fawn about how light-skinned girls dark part of the ghetto they were always made fun of. for having such long hair and such light eyes no baby you made animal noises in primary school that's why no one liked you that's why no one liked you because you were a weirdo not because of your long hair and tangent it always bothers me when When these girls say that and I'm like, why do you think that girl from the dark scene said?
I guess she was in elementary school. Why do you think she became obsessed with you? Hey, yes they did. It seems not. Because? Do you think they noticed your hair and eyes? What did you think about how they already understood at that young age how colorism works? Don't you think they were attacking the physical representations of said colorism that they already knew about because you had that? and they didn't, you were going to go further in this world, you didn't think it was something internalized. Oh, anyway, they were allowed to express every ounce of mixed tears, every ounce, and we were drowning in it, but in the second, The dark-skinned black girl on the show is like why would you call me that's a problem?
It's a problem and it makes me sick on a loop 3 yeah yeah who should have won? I, uh, I don't understand this day how when I don't understand that I don't listen Eva is very very pretty she's a mini Tyra that's why she won but like she was too African, they were trying to give Yaya an exotic black look, that's what they were trying to do and because she was still saying no, I don't want to make it seem like they got mad and she looks too African, that's what they were doing. MAME didn't win cycle 22, it's pure unfiltered racing, I mean you can't deny it. that you can't look me in the eye if you look at that cycle and say that the Nile deserts with that cycle, can you that cycle oh, there are 22, that cycle pisses me off beyond belief because they were all in the wrong order, they were all in the wrong order for no reason season for no season cycle for this I need to do a backhand if you don't know what happened in an episode they did an ethnic swap they basically changed everyone's ethnicity I'm serious that's the word for it the ethnicity of everyone on the show there was a lot of blackface.
I do not understad I do not understand. I really just sat there and had to wrap my head around it. I couldn't, I couldn't understand what was happening in front of me, they were painting these girls dark and I'm like 2006. People knew that painting black was bad in 2006, like they probably did, and no one, no one said nothing, that's my surprise, it's like no one said that maybe we shouldn't change. I wouldn't paint a white girl dark that we shouldn't be, I mean, dark brown, maybe we shouldn't be, maybe we should, we shouldn't paint blackface or yellowface or anything like that.
That episode was amazing to watch. If you haven't seen it in a while go see it, it's literally amazing how it was allowed to air or even signed up with a smile. We are going to change your ethnicity today, so now we are following the track of each cycle, so each cycle follows a very similar format in the show, we have the first episode which is the finale, all the semi-finalists because they have not chosen the finalists in the first episode of each cycle, except seven. the finalists come thanks to them, like thousands of people, they are very excited, yes, EEE, and we have seen in real time how dreams are made or dreams are crushed in the first episode, what they make them do, in my opinion , it's barbaric instead.
There are a lot of girls and I have to narrow it down to 20, so instead of I don't know how to post a list that reads the names as civilized, treating them with an ounce of dignity or respect, they are all ready to start the show with humiliation, which is the The theme of this program is humiliation, they simply start the program, humiliation and make them run like animals going crazy, they are going to resume whether they came to the program or not, they had them, there was a cycle, it was the only cycle, three that they had.
They, there were portfolios sitting on a table, they, when running, bumped into each other, as if they found it, their photos in the portfolio in a later season, they were outside and there were these like big legs, balls straight, with the name of someone and a small piece. of paper and a puddle full of shaving cream, I think, and then going in there and finding it, that's what the humiliation is in Episode One, and that's not the main problem, one of my main problems with the show that I this program refers. shaming shaming determined and hopeful young adults, that's what the show is about, not cultivating and helping new aspiring models, not that this show is meant to shame them and that starts with the makeover episode, how many poor scared I was really really scared so the makeover episode if you don't know what that is they basically go to a salon and they change their life basically most people get like a hair change some people can get like your teeth, you know, like skin if they're a little skinned. a little messy, it depends on the person, but Tyra and just choose what kind of makeover they want said person to have, so I'll start by saying hair specifically hair: the black woman is something almost sacred, it's something very important in our lives and I just want to start with that please, so that every cycle of the Oz makeover episode and you might be thinking about the way I described it, it sounds fun and in theory it sounds fun, you get this person at the that you clearly admire and all these amazing judges, they can make you look more beautiful, that's what it is in theory, but oh no, in practice, I don't know, never in practice, this is the problem most of the time Tyra It does absolutely nothing special, it has no taste, sorry.
I'll introduce the puncher with straight hair, a hair dryer, and think she literally saved the world, just like the classic blonde who was a brunette. No one cares and then for about four people she will completely decimate and ruin their lives. She will completely ruin their lives. and when I say that, I really really really mean that she ruins her life with her hair. Hair is very important and it can really make or break your face just like eyebrows and it ruins people's lives and this is it: her real hair. goes mullet shaved bald half balls that look those are her three favorites that's her triple combo of ruining someone's life and how sick it was - the girls she ruined their lives with the ones she ruined went home in two episodes o the same episode.
I have to walk you through this image because it's so you don't, you can't empathize until you see this image. I need you to finish passing the rigorous application process for America's Next Top Model. mod soul honey you make it to the semi-finals and now you are one of the finalists and now it's time for the makeover episode so they take you to the salon and Tyra tells you that she will make you beautiful. Tyra Banks, she calls you an incredible supermodel. You say she will make you beautiful, she goes for the girl line. I'm saying she's okay, some extensions will add in some way, this would be a little dye job and then she turns to you and says, "I'll go, I'll use Y." n I'm thinking we're going to be a little bit retro, a little bit rocker, a little bit like hey, we're going to do that for you, we'll give you a mullet, you'd have to put me in jail, so if ever the tire banks looked at me in the eyes and told me that to become America's next top model I needed to get a mullet, the lights go out and the lights don't go out for me, I would be very alive, wait, no, no, no, it hasn't happened yet. finished. it's not over yet so you already have the mullet because you know you have to get the hairstyle, you get the right mullet and then you go and do your photo shoot after mm-hmm-hmm and then guess what happens, they send you home They send you home the same day with three strands of hair taped to the back of your head that's sick that's even immoral I can go so far it's just that it's not just hair because I'm the time the girl a the one that gave him the mullet, but I'm thinking cycle 24.
I think they look bad, they all look bad because the mulch doesn't look good, even the people who can pull a mullet still don't look good and first some because You know Tyra. She hates black girls, loves shaving her head, or does absolutely nothing and gives them the longest weave imaginable. Tyra loves that long, wavy weave that she loves, either she'll give them that or she'll shave half their heads. With her I don't understand that there is no creativity when it comes to black girls hair, whether it's a super long weave or whether they're bald, there's nothing in between and I'm like, you and the lady? lady.
Really random, but I've always wondered why there is never any maintenance with the hairs. You have roots that grow. New growth. You have because you're giving them sometimes she gives these white girls leaves and obviously they don't know what that is so they have. I have no idea how to keep this up, so we have literal footprints falling into people's hair in episode 9, why is there never any maintenance? She always pisses me off when she goes from brunette to blonde, but she doesn't do maintenance, so you see the brunette roots and then it's platinum. blonde that doesn't make sense this does it doesn't make sense why is there no maintenance and always whatever they get Wiis they always look tattered but three episodes in and I'm like hats hair wraps where are they?
Where are they? and it's no one's fault, you need maintenance, if you're giving someone a change offull picture you gotta keep it but I do the makeup reps they're my favorite apps so hands down my favorite episode of this entire show because it's a mess this episode is complete and it's a total mess and I love it , I love it, I gobble it up, oh, I double it. I'm a mess, I am and I'm not afraid to admit it, we all are. The episode is funny until someone literally starts crying their eyes out because they think they're going to look so ugly and they usually do it next.
Let's move on to this. It's something no one talks about on this show. This is the part that really pisses me off. This program is a reality competition show where the contestants sometimes take photographs. This is not a modeling program. This is not an educational modeling program because no one learns anything during these cycles. Models don't learn anything. They are there to be Tyra's little pawns and do whatever she tells them. They are not there. learning to model, there was no way for anyone to improve in this program because they were never taught anything, there were never any workshops and if there were it was once a season, how are you going to improve your walking if you have a walking workshop throughout the cycle ?
That doesn't make sense to me, so again let's imagine, imagine you. You're one of the thousands of Possum Ville Alabama Coleman girls, plus she had a pout and shucked corn. Imagine you are one of those girls, what do you know about modeling? Nothing clean, because those girls love to talk and pretend. I know what fashion I don't even watch this show Name five fashion designers Crickets First tangent lie I don't know why you would ever admit that you don't want to prove that you are currently a contestant Why would you ever? Admit it, why don't you Google five fashion designers before you take the plunge, but go and fly to Los Angeles?
I do, that's a tangent that always pisses in the office, so you're on your Betty from Alabama, you don't know, saving my model. You know, I want to walk, pose, strut, none of that and that's why the big cut happens in the first episode, they cut and find out who has the natural gift because if you get to that point, there's a good chance you're one and it's from You're expected to be photogenic, but you don't know how to do any of the technical things required for modeling. The first big cut occurs. In most cases, girls have the natural ability, yet they do nothing to take advantage or improve. natural ability, they literally trust the fact that these girls will learn it themselves and some of them improve by leaps and bounds, but most of them don't look exactly the same as the first day they walked on set and that's why when people cut because they didn't improve that was always a joke a little bit confusing for me because I was like how are they supposed to improve? you gave them no, no, lessons, or any education when it came to modeling, it was very, very confusing where they posed to go to a modeling school and be on their program at the same time, that was the goal of the program it's made for people that they have this natural gift, but everyone knows that just because they have a natural gift doesn't mean you have it too. you don't have to take advantage of it and work hard because we clearly see that the winners or most of the winners don't do much, maybe because they didn't, they didn't learn anything, so maybe you wonder what the hell they do if they're not learning, they literally dance tap for Tyra, but that's what they do, they make Tyra laugh.
This show does a lot while doing absolutely nothing and it's fascinating. Tyra makes them do literally everything except model. These aspiring models have to do things that would never ever happen in the real world and it's all just for fun they had to walk a tightrope walk down the side of a tangent building they was a cycle Oh it was one of the later cycles they walked on the side of a bill before she learned to walk Tyra was judging their walks the basis of how they walked down the side of a building yes, the building walked down the side of the building with a harness, I'm They didn't, they had thunderstorm shots false, I understand it because it's like a can of rain in a shot, but if they did hail, they gave them two tight shoes, which is the only realistic challenge they've done like in the challenge. where they give them shoes two sizes too small because that happens that happens in modeling it's actually something that happens but they only did it once they had them modeling hanging from a hot air balloon and then they made them walk around blindfolded what do they do?
In addition to public humiliation, you get what you learn in addition to public humiliation and how to maybe not be ashamed, and this is all in the name of making good models and finding America's Next Top Model, no, it's in the name of humiliation publicly to twenty girls so that they're just doing all these challenges for our consumption as viewers because it's entertaining to watch, it's entertaining to watch and they knew it and they loved it, let me get to the halfway point of the season and they always have to get rid of it. Of this, it's something that I've seen every time that they always have to get rid of someone around episode five, five or six, where if they made it to the top five they would have to win or come in second place.
You have to walk with me here. He is usually a black man. An Asian woman or man usually is if it's someone who, if they were to make the top five, it would be so obvious that they would need to win or come second, they're that good, they have that talent that they have. to get rid of them because they can't have too much talent in the top five, the top five has some talented controls and then there are the two people who are like how the hell, how the hell did you get here, how the literal hell? they come here and take them out with them they are always classic racists or what Tyra loves to use is that they are no longer passionate she loves to use that excuse like she ever talks to these people and she actually knows their passion and their impulses in life and when talking about Tyra, this show is meant to make Tyra Banks feel good and make everyone else feel bad.
It has to be some kind of complex. Was Tyra bullied at school? I guess so because of the situation. Up here, I think that's why she's a beautiful girl. I don't know why her insecurities are real and they say they are with you your whole life, but she created an entire program to help you overcome her insecurities. She projected what happened to her. thousands of people just because she could because she was the one who did it, now she can inflict pain on everyone else. The photos of her that you put all over the house. I mean, it's her show.
It was designed to be that surreal. fairy godmother would almost like to run in every time she was there she ran in they screamed Tyra always had to scream when I got tired and she wouldn't run out like she was a figment of the imagination she was so attentive a true almighty ray that couldn't be like a normal person on earth in cycle 11. Tara is put without a machine. Wilson makes you a better model and the machine overloads and shorts out because Tyra is the best model to ever walk this earth. Imagine the fatigue I feel, imagine how I felt, what the fuck?
Oh, I thought, are you kidding? Is it every day? Is it every day with propaganda? Is it every day that I have to hear how good a model you are? I know that really drove me crazy and the thing is, we know Tyra, when she talks about it, she went through a lot of hardship to get to where she is, because Tyra Banks is very skinny and she's very good at modeling. I don't like it, the woman takes double photos in red, photos like I never did. I haven't seen many girls achieve it. She already achieved it.
She has been through so many hardships that she knows on her own what it's like to try. become a model nowadays in this world, but instead of trying to make modeling more accessible to more people, she decides to create this ridiculous show, this ridiculous and toxic show and that brings me to the main problem with this show, This is why this show is terrible, it's not terrible, so why in theory is this a terrible show before the rise of Instagram around 2012? 2011 America's Next Top Model was realistically the only way one could become a model without going through all the hardships Tyra always talks about. about how I love you what there wasn't if you didn't have family connections that you didn't know the business there was no other way to become a supermodel there was no other way unless you wanted to go down that dark path a dark path that the models always talk about, You know, men, that way.
America's Next Top Model was like a golden path to take you straight to stardom and they exploited that. This was the before Instagram Instagram Models this was the only way to get there and they knew they knew that millions of people dream of being models. Everyone I've done please everyone bring up the topic of being a model and if you'll do almost anything to get there, what does this show do? They do anything to get there, they do these ridiculous challenges, they, Millie, ate themselves up on public television just for the chance to become America's Next Top Model because that's how hard it is that this show was the only option where they Think before the rise of the Instagram model, this show was the only way to become so famous, the only way because not everyone wants to, because, just like the things models go through, some real people don't want to. expose yourself to that, oh, there is a reality. show that can make me a model I just have to make Tyra Banks laugh, okay I'll do it and that's the main problem with this show, it's ridiculous, it's exploitative but it's very, very entertaining and that's why it's so entertaining. because these girls, these guys would do anything, almost no one questions Tyra, almost no one questions the things that she made them do because they were like, "If this makes me a model, this look will be a model and it's absolutely mind-blowing." go back and watch especially the previous seasons now because you're like these people this was their only chance this is the only way they were going to now people in the later seasons um why the little things didn't go so well for them is because now you can just go to Instagram and you can get followers without going through literal public humiliation on TV and also, yes, this wouldn't be necessary nowadays because of social media, but before that, it's very, very sick in my opinion. , really, really sick, this was the only one.
So this is like this is like a golden ticket to like now your face is known now that you have so much exposure now the layered show is used, I think it was more or less used for exposure because you could come, you could become an Instagram model, You could come, you can, people cover social media, people have started their modeling careers from pretty photos they post on Instagram and Twitter. I couldn't do that ten years ago, uh, and that's it, this video was a little long, sorry. but I mean there are a lot of things wrong with this show, so yes this is one of my favorite reality shows, it's very entertaining, but the reason it's so entertaining is because it's terrible.
I hope all the contestants are in therapy, real therapy. I hope everyone is taking good care of themselves. I see I follow a lot of former contestants on Instagram. They are doing well. People who don't win do much better than people who do when someone with better skills. you're in campaigns oh mom a is everywhere mom a is modeling mostly makeup that's over here dot dot hmm oh that's not what dot glove okay so yeah that's it thank you guys so much for watching this has another installment in my everything is wrong with the series woo so Here are my social networks again if you want to follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
If that is all. What show do you want to see next? Because this is over. I'm not. I wonder what guys because I'm like. I don't know what program to do next. I'm currently watching Grey's Anatomy so I might do that below, but if you have any suggestions on what other show you'd like to watch with all the bad stuff, comment below and yeah, that's it. So thank you all very much for watching us. I'll see you next time, bye.
