Feb 27, 2020
Hello everyone, welcome back to Kelly Barlow's creations, making today's video on a budget, you'll love it. I'll show you how to make a DIY

rotating

storage

. This is an amazing

universal

storage

unit that I am going to make and Best of all, it is made from 100% Dollar Tree items. Everything you need for this project can be found at your local Dollar Tree. So what do you need for this? You need six of their three-in-one cotton sets. I need two of their turntables, better known as Lazy Susans, but Dollar Tree calls them turntables, so you need two of those and honestly, that's all you need from Dollar Tree, other than maybe some cement adhesive that they sell with the tools at your Dollar Tree.

If you don't have six thousand, we'll start by removing our labels and I'm using my little cricket spatula scraper and this makes it a little bit easier once we've removed all the labels from our containers and emptied them. We're going to take our turntable one of them and we're going to place our containers around the table. Once you have placed them exactly where you want them, you need to make sure that all the doors are in their containers. They're all oriented the same way, so what we're going to do is stick them on the turntable and on the bottom edge of the container that you're going to take and you're going to put a line of glue. right here and a line down here and that's all the glue needed for each container.

More Interesting Facts About,

dollar tree universal rotating storage...

Place this container on the turntable. It will do that with all six containers so that we have all of our containers glued together. the lazy susan now we're going to take our other lazy susan and we're going to place it on top of the containers that we just glued on you're going to take a marker and underneath you're going to put dots where each container is on the turntable, you can see I have marks grays surrounding this entire turntable, these two marks here is where a container is, here's another container around it, so now we're going to take our sixth thousand from the East. and we're just going to put a little bit of glue on the edge of the turntable where each container went.

Once we've placed our glue on this outside edge, make sure to line up the glue with your containers and once you've done that, I suggest putting a couple of heavy books on top and letting it sit overnight. This is what overnight you can see when I grab the top table turner which is completely adhered to all of our containers so just a tip when you glue these containers together. If you choose to leave the door on so you can open and close it, you need to make sure you stick the container over the edge of the table so you can open and close the containers. cut the doors if you are using this as a makeup holder, lipstick organizer you can cut them because your lipsticks probably won't fit in the containers if you have the door on so if you want to use this for anything other than washi tape or anything that sticks out, cut the doors.

I'm going to keep the doors on so my washi tape doesn't fall off so now what I'm going to do is take some washi tape and I'm going to decorate it if you're going to use this in the bathroom or for makeup and you don't want to use washi tape, You want to dress it up a little, another fun way to decorate it is to pick this up. A 9 foot roll of diamond wrap is shiny and sparkly and you can always hot glue it around the edges of your turntable and since I'm using mine as washi tape I thought it would be fun to decorate it with washi tape, this is my other washi tape holder and this one is completely full and I kid you not, this unit alone holds 200 rolls of washi tape.
I have 10 washi tapes on the outside with a total of 60 on the outside and each unit holds 20 making 140. in this DIY Dollar Tree Spinning Storage Unit I made which is a ton of washi tape to store for the price Bargain at $8, this is an amazing unit, you can see here that it spins perfectly without any issues I'm thinking. As for stacking them too high, you can flip the bottom perfectly like you see I'm doing and you can also flip the top perfectly, so these two storage units alone will hold a total of 400 rolls of washi tape, well, That's all I have for this DIY
