It's easier to grab in a bakeware organizer. I saw this device in my kitchen cabinets and thought, why don't I use it for my craft room? It is sturdy, takes up very little space, and requires no hardware to install. This organizer may look small but it can hold my 12 inch paper cutter no problem with the one I have, you can move those little dividers around to make it fit virtually any width, you need it too so I stamp a lot on my crafts with paper and therefore I have accumulated a lot of acrylic blocks to use for stamping.

I have a stamping tool, but for a quick stamp I also like to use these acrylic blocks and as you can see, they are everywhere, there is no rhyme or reason, there are few of them. I'll link them below and if you see It's there for a great price, you should definitely get it while you can because it's not in stock often, but I have these tools everywhere now, even with my random pairs of strands, so I needed some kind storage or organization solution for All this was when I discovered this essential oil organizer. I know, it's totally random, but these slots fit the tool perfectly. The one I have comes in white wood color. I have the white color. It's this practical tray. It has a total of 63 slots which is perfect for the amount of ink mixing tools I have, if you tend to do your crafts in different areas the tray is handy because you can just pick it up and go.
Another useful feature of this tray is that if you don't want to use a tray, this entire insert is removable so you can store it in a drawer or on top of your desk or something. I currently have it in my IKEA Alex drawer and also use the tray as extra storage for other things like cardstock. or paper, so if you're going to use the insert, make sure your drawers are at least three and a half inches deep. Then I like to place a piece of paper or cardstock just to help protect the inside of my drawers even though they're already my stuff.
I place the insert inside the drawer and then start organizing. I was very happy to finally find a cost effective solution to organize all of these ink mixing tools. I can't recommend this enough. There is a lot of ink mixing, so it made sense to me to have a lot of these ink mixing tools on hand instead of having to change the foam every time. Plus, if you have complete gaming syndrome, this is the organization solution for you. my paper crafts I would love to make a lot of Payne, so I have a lot of stamps.
I already made a video showing how I inventory and organize all my stamps. I'll link it somewhere you can see that video. After this one I just wanted to show you how I physically store all my stamps to store my stamp collection. I use a DVD holder. These are relatively inexpensive and come with a convenient handle if I need to move a bunch of stamps at once. They are also very lightweight, so the stamp storage pockets I use fit perfectly inside one of these containers. I also like these containers because they are narrow and short and I use a shelf to store them.
They fit very well. on the shelf I have and I can easily pull out a container without it being too heavy if I need to organize them. I simply make dividers and organize them by brand. Another craft material I use frequently is my painter's tape and my thicker tape. roll of double sided adhesives and while they are great for crafts, they are also very bulky so I try to find a solution that cuts down on the mess of these big old rolls of tape. I ended up using a paper towel holder, it's a cheap and easy storage solution and doesn't take up much space, so I just take all the bulky rolls of tape I have and stack them on top and if I need, for example, a piece of tape particularly from the bottom, I can easily tear it off. piece without having to remove the entire battery.
I'm just organizing it by size because I'm mostly - you like it. I have a pretty large collection of markers and pens from all my hand lettering, bullet journals, and cards, so I needed to find a solution to get all of this under control. I like to organize my pens and markers by brand and for my fancier, i.e. more expensive markers and pens, I like to arrange and store them horizontally as I find that more preserves their lifespan. To achieve this, I used a makeup organizer. The makeup organizer unit I have fits perfectly in an akia calyx or exponent, whatever you have, and it's nice and clear, and I keep each drawer with a different brand of markers and pens.
I love being able to take them out. I took out the entire drawer if I needed it and took it to my desk to do my crafts. PS: This next tip isn't really a hack, but I love this storage system so much that I thought I'd share it anyway. I have these drawers. online and they store all my embossing powders perfectly, they store glitter, they store reinkers perfectly, so if you have an IKEA system or a shelf like this and you want more storage in there to maximize its potential, then consider purchasing these types of drawers. it holds all your little knick-knacks, so if you're a Stamper like me and short on money, space or both, then you probably have a collection of mini inks and mini inks are perfect when you don't have them.
Whether I have a big craft space or a big budget because they are small and more cost effective, the only problem was that I didn't reach for my mini inks as often as I should because I had no way of knowing exactly. What color was I getting? You know, with regular ink pads you could put a sample on the side. Well, I didn't have that with mini inks until I found this solution. I found these removable labels. In fact, I started using these labels a long time ago. When? I first started mixing inks to do some masking and I thought they would be the perfect solution for me to sample my mini inks and probably all my inks come in a full sheet size and I use my Silhouette Cameo to cut out custom sample sizes of all my ink pads, you can use a circle punch, our scissors, or metallic dyes to cut these shapes, but I think having an electronic cutting machine or just borrowing will make this process much easier and you will be able to get the custom shapes. you want, for example, I used them to show my ink blending tools.
I made the top and side of the tool with a regular label maker and since most of my ink pads are mini ink pads I thought that would be better. To show the top of these mini ink pads, I have regular sized ink pads stored in an ink pad, you know, storage systems and obviously I can only see the sides so that's why I sample the ones. sides of those adhesive sheets that have been one of my favorites. nifty finds I can't recommend them enough, they are so versatile you can use them for swatches or masking or just make stickers for your kids and here you can see my mini ink storage all organized in an IKEA dresser that is right next to my writing desk. crafts. and this system is great for seeing my mini inks at a glance, but if I would like to see samples of my full size ink pads and my mini ink pads, then I use this system to organize all of my ink samples.
I use a card holder. You can find them at any office supply store and they are quite affordable. This system really helps me find the ink color I'm looking for and shows mine a little differently. I use business card sizes because I like to mix inks. in one corner I stamp in the middle and then I stamp again to see the second generation color and I do this because I like to mix ink and therefore I like to see it. I like to see colors just pitted against each other so I can see if they make a good match, this system works great for me when I'm looking for a specific color to use for the next craft organization hack, maybe it's in your closet, my My kids do some crafts from time to time and I used to keep all of their supplies in this container and it worked fine, but it was one of those out of sight and out of mind things where they didn't do crafts as often because their Supplies were not easily accessible.
When I went to the back of my cloud and found this shoe organizer, this unit was really affordable and I put it on its side and now it can hold all of my kids' craft supplies and little cubbies with this organization system. I love that there is a compartment. For basically everything and still room to grow, I keep it on the floor so it's within reach for my kids to grab any craft supplies they need. It's also right next to my cardstock rack and this is where I keep the lightest cardstock that I can. You can feel free to use them at any time because these things were pretty cheap, but this is the first pile of questions to mom that is on the right and they know it, so this little corner of my craft space has become a family craft corner that I can appreciate, I think.
It will look fine to you too so if you have a craft desk then your top drawer might look a little like this and it's not meant to be a junk drawer but somehow it got to that point so this system He hid the disorder, but it was not like that. make things easier to find or use and that's when I found a bathroom countertop organizer that is normally used to organize your lotions, potions and toiletries. I thought it would be perfect for the top of my craft desk and I don't know how my kids Batman pen.
I went in there, but that's how it was. I will ignore that these organizers have the perfect compartments for my craft supplies for my most used pens: my paintbrushes, scissors, adhesive, masking tapes. There is a little slot for everything that I love about this and the The system was pretty affordable and this next organization trick is great for colored pencils or tall pens and markers that you may have so I have a small collection of colored pencils and I used to keep them in their tin, but then I realized that it wasn't. Looking for them quite often, I needed some way to display them but still organized so that they were still pleasing to the eye and that's when I found these pots.
I got lost in Ikea as usual and came across these pots. and I thought they would be perfect for organizing my colored pencils and my very tall markers that wouldn't fit in my other marker organization and you can use any Vaz or a flower pot you find.
