Jun 01, 2021
foreigner Hi it's me and I have a friend today listen to him this is a Russian

nesting

doll

it's blank right now so it looks like a fat bowling pin now I know the one in the thumbnail was uh not this one it's because thumbnails have to be flashy and this isn't very flashy, you're nothing, don't feel cheated, that doesn't fall into the category of click bait unlike a lot of the things I choose to paint in this one. I'm actually supposed to paint. I've done this once before, but with a much smaller wrist. Yeah, I'm not going to show you the inside of this one.

I just want to move it. This will be a great project. This will take me forever. Why did I need to get one twice the size?

More Interesting Facts About,

customizing a jumbo nesting doll set...

I don't know. I have a lot of work to do. let's get to it right, so here's the big mom and we're going to birth the rest of the dolls again, although we literally just went through this and got to the smallest one, so small, but then I sat there and counted them why are there only nine oh no no how did I forget about you it's about the same size as the end of my dotting tool how is that going to work? It's going to be fun here's the whole naked family together for one Last time that sounds weird and it's plaster, starting with the oldest.

I'm going to apply gesso on each of these to make sure that when I go to paint them, the colors will be nice and strong and the paint will adhere to the surface properly. Well, the next one and immediately this one is much smaller than the first one. I feel like it could have been a bit more of a gradual decrease in size, but it goes from the giant to one that's already half the size of this one. a little small as they get smaller and smaller it becomes more and more difficult to paint them, even hold them, plus at the moment I am getting more and more paint on my hands.

I could also apply the paint with my fingers my brush is now starting to feel very big okay that's better this is not satisfying to look at at all it's frustrating and finally the little oh you're so small it makes me angry. I really don't know how else to paint this. Well, that was a disaster. All the pieces are now plastered, so I'll put them back together. I'll do a quick count of everyone present. Well, well, yeah, okay, we'll work on this project one doll at a time and try not to think. about the fact that there are 10 of them and they get annoyingly smaller.
I'm just lightly sketching my design here. I'm not going to do anything super complex because you know 10 of them I needed to find a balance between making something that's interesting and fun, but not so incredibly detailed that I'm going to do this for the rest of my life, okay, I think now we're ready to the paint, oh, and you're rolling, here we go, oh, right, first breaststroke and I've already ruined things, the pink is supposed to go down here, there we go, so my last set of Russian

nesting

dolls I made animal costumes and fruits, you still have to watch that video to see them this time.
I've decided on costumed spots, oh there is no theme for the costumes, the ideas for them are all different and get a little random, but for the biggest one I decided to go with one of my tried and true themes, it's a costume dessert themed, now I chose stains because I have been obsessed with them recently, but I also thought they would work particularly well for this as the Russian nesting dolls are Blobby shaped after my last set of Russian nesting dolls, many Of you wanted to see me make an outfit using my characters, but I was having a hard time figuring out how to fit them into this shape without them looking super weird.
Of course, you could paint these things called humans because that's what traditional Russian dolls are. Maybe I'll make some dolls of general people. I'm more of an animal feeder kind of person, not a big person, I also had some very angry people last time, angry that I'm painting cutesy designs on Russian nesting dolls. I have been accused of dishonoring tradition, you dishonor tradition with your so-called art. I never thought a couple of quotes could be so hurtful, don't get me wrong. I think the traditional style of nesting dolls is really cute. In no way am I trying to make a statement that my so-called art is better than the traditional art style, but this is my style, it's pretty much what I do here, this is not bad, it's okay, so now I have painted the background in time for the details.
I've given this stain a nice little cherry. to hold on to, so I'm just going to add a little bit of Dimension to that and add some shadows here and there, let's add a little bit of blush to make your face look girly, add some juicy highlights to make things pop, then literally. make your face girl, making their face will be a nice happy mass, but you know how these masses can be, they are very moody, so don't expect them all to be as nice as this and I'm realizing this almost. He looks like a human, a very pink human, which makes him a little strange and a little confusing, and of course I'm not going to miss the opportunity to give him some sparks.
Alright, just a few last little details I need to add here and yeah, first. Everyone looks in a dessert costume, let's open that and move on to the next one, which of course is an incredible size difference. Why aren't you bigger? You know, it's just that the larger ones are much easier to paint and you can get cleaner details. I don't know why they didn't try to keep them as big as possible for as long as possible, but I need to stop complaining about it now because you don't care. I need to get into the painting part, which is the fun part, you might as well enjoy it because it only gets worse from here.
I'm covering the entire body with a black background, except for the small area I've sketched out, which will be where the face and legs will be. handyman This mass will wear the Galaxy, what is a Galaxy costume? let's prepare some Galaxy colors and I'm just going to create that nice typical Galaxy look with the spots and you know, we've all seen this before trying to create a nice variation there with some areas blending into the background and then putting some highlights in other areas to create that illusion of depth that we really want in a galaxy look and hey, this is your last final reminder that my Rubik's Cube is available for pre-order.
Only a couple of days left before this is over. officially, so this is the last chance to get a limited edition Rubik's Cube. I am very grateful for all your feedback and enthusiasm, and for those of you who have pre-ordered one, remember that you can find the order page at the link in the description, as well as answers to any questions you may have about pre-ordering, that It's all for the stain itself. I chose a nice lavender color, skin color, do the spots have skin? What are they made of? I'll reflect on it later while that layer dries.
I'll just place some little stars to finish off the Galaxy design. I thought it would be cute to give each of the spots these little accessories to hold that go with the theme of their costume, just as a way to make the designs a little more detailed. and interesting, this dough has a face full of wonder because I thought you knew it was appropriate for the dough in the Galaxy costume. I guess this is just the facial expression that goes with Galaxy. Okay, is it done? I think we need to add a little. Little Stars perfect and hey, did I scare you?
Moving on to the next ah oh that's horrible oh I hate it and playing drums now stop wasting time come on this one is going to start with a coat of white paint so let's try to get over this real quick okay let's put it back together and here is the design for this one. I'm going with another pink spot. We have already made a pink spot. I am aware that this is not ideal. I wanted to make a perfect variety. of stain colors, but it was quite a balancing act choosing the perfect balance of the stain color that has to go with the costume color, which has to be different from the stain and the costume color from the stain and the costume that come before and after, which has to contrast with the neighboring stain and the color of the costume.
I spent a lot of time trying to figure all that out. This dough is going to wear a cow costume. I don't know, I just thought it would be cute at first. I wasn't exactly sure what. the Blob cow costume should be holding a bucket of milk it's a little gross being holding a bucket of your own bodily fluid it's a little gross that we drink bodily fluids but I really try not to think about it I'd like to continue adding milk to my cereal or cereal to my milk, whatever the order, it doesn't really matter, although some people try to act like it does, but anyway I walked away from the idea of milk and landed on the bell, which I thought was a bit a little prettier and we are already in detail mode here starting to outline the face and hands.
I call these hands, but they're not really hands, what are they called blob hands? As you can see, I've chosen a very angry face for this one. I don't think he likes it when he's the one wearing the cow costume. We had the first drop as a delicious dessert and then, oh, cool Galaxy, and then there's you dressed as a cow, okay, now get out of the way, no, and here's the next one. For this one I'm going to use a candy theme, let me split you in half real quick. I'm going to start with a pink background color.
I'm going to do light pink on the top piece and then I'm going to put a darker pink. On the bottom piece, that little lip, I'm holding it, it's pretty small at this point, but it's still holding, we still have a lot smaller left. Once the paint is dry from that layer, I'll start blending the two pinks together. I'm trying to keep the pieces together so I can get a perfect fade but also keep the small crack open so I don't seal the pieces with the paint and going back and forth with that forever to the point where I got such a gradual transition it doesn't even look good , it was time well spent, let's move on to the face and it's blue, we have a blue spot holding a palette and I'm doing this in a different order that I'm filling in all the details of the hands yes and the face first and I'll get to the costume more late and the face in this will be a very hyperactive face, this is what a mass looks like when experiencing a sugar rush from the costume I basically made polka dots all over the place.
I guess they're like little candies, but I didn't add a lot of details to them because I'm running out of room for tons of details, so I'd rather have some. clean and simple there's that one let's move on yeah we're getting pretty small here I'm trying to show the scale it's small this one is going to be painted blue oh boy Yeah this is where it starts to get annoying I don't know I know if it's It's normal to hate painting in super small sizes as much as I do. I know some people enjoy it but I've always found it very frustrating to paint in super small sizes, maybe it's because of my fat fingers that this one is also getting the gradient look so I'm mixing the two shades of blue and it will be a yellow stain , the face is like sunlight, not in the creepy Teletubby way, this mass is wearing a sky costume, which it is now that I think about it. it's these costumes like who dresses up like the sky, you know what I'll be for Halloween this year, the sky, you see, I'll make it happen and of course since it's a sky theme, this dough holds a rainbow.
I just added the outline I made the face, uh, sleeping, it's the sun, shouldn't I be awake?, whatever, nothing makes sense, okay, there's that little cutie, oh, look at that, a doll shaped like a even smaller, shocking drop and it's running, oh okay, the sketch is now available. What was that? And this is a dough that wears a hamburger disguise, since it is so small. I'm kind of throwing away the paint completely and I'm just going to squeegee all of this out with pastes instead of trying to use a brush and while I'm painting. on this small scale it's not my favorite, I think I've been very clear about it, yeah these little ones went by pretty quickly, they didn't take me that long so it was a lot of fun, I was just miserable for a little over a period of time , you may also have already noticed that this one doesn't contain any accessories, there really just isn't enough room for it and I think if I had tried to fit it in there it would have cluttered that area too much, so I decided to just have the accessories for the five largest ones and for the little five they get nothing, it's a ridiculous burger and it's full and who do we have here?
OMG there are so many of these, this one is a little bigger than my thumbnail so I'm trying to be clever here and find a better way to hold this while I paint. That's not going to work. How about this? I tried it for a while, but it wasn't much better, I think I gave it up. This is going to be a disaster, you're just going to have to get over it, okay, this is me talking to myself, this is another little one.gradient background and this yellow blob will be dressed in a slime costume so I've drawn the little green blobs of slime around him and I'm giving him a very upset expression because he has slime dripping into his eyes and it's annoying.
Then I knew I wasn't going to be able to get a lot of detail about this at all so I really need to pick something very simple. I'm having trouble making a face that small. I decided to just go with it and make her face really Derpy on purpose. I knew it was going to be a little Derpy anyway. Purposeful derp is always better than accidental derp, remember he doesn't look like the most intelligent creature out there, which is quite appropriate because he's carrying a potato, okay, and this is the last opening and I feel like I've already been as simple as possible with The costume designs a potato.
It doesn't get any simpler than that, so I decided this will just be a bare dough. It's too small for a costume. They don't make them in your size, so it's just a naked purple mass. now finally the last one looks like a wart. I really had no idea how to paint this one, so it's random, but I decided to make it a strawberry. I do not know what to tell you. I felt like a strawberry was the only thing I could paint so small, I thought about throwing it away and pretending it didn't exist, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, so there it is.
I'm having a hard time controlling it, so now that everyone has done it. They have been painted I am going to varnish them I definitely want to take them apart for this because the varnish will stick the pieces together if you are not careful once the whole process is over they are now finished here is the complete set of these designs and honestly the whole idea It's a little strange, but I think they turned out well, they're definitely not to everyone's taste. I think they're fun and have a lot of variety and enough detail to make each one interesting, so of course we have to experience the opening of each one. one of them open because it is very satisfying.
I love nesting dolls and with these, every time you open one it's like a surprise, there's something new, except it's not so surprising because you know, I just spent the last week painstakingly creating every detail. I complained about them a lot, but I even like how the little ones turned out, even the strawberry, it's funny how random it is, so yeah, that's all for today. I hope you enjoyed watching me customize my second set of Russian Nestings. dolls, it was fun over all, thanks for watching and see you next Friday, bye, thanks.
