I'm not going to be in a movie, no, you're right, so if you're in a movie, it's going to be a short. movie dude, help me with someone's phone and it'll just be you, eh, yeah, just sheath that spider, yeah, some idiot Leo probably did it to me, maybe it's a star bra. I love it once I spend time in Hollywood, here's a guy. right now and there's a question that's going to be a lot better than this conversation, let's make it feel okay Bobby, hey Bobby, I'd like to do it and I'd love to ask you a question a lot of times my brain tells me. one thing my heart tells me another thing mother many times I'm not sure which way to go so I wanted to ask you how you send yourself when you feel overwhelmed or lost or anxious thank you thank you very much god God bless you both Wow, that's a good boy method, yeah holy baby, he definitely did it late at night, that's crazy eyes, yeah. he has like three or four grandfather clocks in his room, so yeah, if that's serious silence, It's a serious question, you know what I've been doing buddy, it's meditating, yeah, and every night I do it and in the mornings I spend 20 minutes and focus on my breathing, I'm in a room, you know, I live in a mansion, so you know, I refer to one of my rooms and I focus on my breathing, and what I do is I breathe in five seconds, you know, I breathe out five. seconds breathe in five seconds and I know that thoughts come into my brain, you know, I mean how it was put together in another movie or whatever, listen to me or like, you know, if crystal clear, you know, I mean, but I chose, the I let it pass like clouds hmm or I pop them like a bubble like me, if that's what I have four thoughts above, I pop it well and focus my attention on my breathing, that's how I do it and once I do it, I'm locked in nothingness, not in nothingness, but as if it were simply black.

More Interesting Facts About,

bobby lee 3 this past weekend w theo von 256...

Yeah right, and once I get to that state, I mean a rhythm, it really dictates how I feel about my life and how my gayness is going and it also makes me sleep a lot better, man, yeah, I sleep instantly instead tossing and turning for an hour. hmm, right, you know what friend, all my problems come from here, yes, and they are mainly your brain, my Mei, my mind, my brain, yes, and also most of my problems are not real, yes, they are perceived. I imagine things that don't exist. like what people say why didn't I understand that none of that matters right man, so that's what meditation does, it calms down the part of what is mainly my problem, which is this, yeah, that's what I've been trying to do Lately you know, and what practice are you doing?
bobby lee 3 this past weekend w theo von 256
Is there a certain way you are practicing? It's hurting my time. What are you doing? I try to do it for about 20 minutes, bro. Wow, 20 minutes a good time, you know, I mean, maybe a little bit longer I don't have a watch just like usually about 20-25 minutes which sometimes lasts 30 you know, sometimes shorter depends but I like it I really try to do it because it's like you know that relapse I had in August, man, and I were going to kill ourselves, Dane, you said too fast, sorry, in a second, man, yeah, thanks, that felt more organic, but yeah, you know, when my father died, I relapsed and then after 17 years, you know that's a long time, yeah, and then I couldn't eat or sleep and I had suicidal thoughts and you were using marijuana and liquor just marijuana, do you have liquor?
bobby lee 3 this past weekend w theo von 256
No, you wish you had a beer. I couldn't do it because the The thing is, I got this job on a CBS game show and I did eight episodes. I knew after that I was going to drink and take opiates and have fun. Thon, yes, he lost energy, yes, but what ended up happening was that he was losing a lot. Weight and I wasn't sleeping and I started to become psychotic. I started to lose my mind. If you do not want. So I went to a hospital. I went to a place in Arizona for a couple of weeks and found out what the problem was.
It was and the problem was the trauma that my dad caused me when he was a child. Wow, so I made a deal. I didn't do a lot of EMDR therapy and I addressed a lot of those issues and took the weight off of those things. and now I feel freer, I think this time too because you know, in the last seven years of these 17 years I was sober, I didn't do well, you know, I rarely went to meetings. Oh, Riley, yeah, now what I'm doing is The first thing that's most important about going to meetings is going to my therapist once a week and going to meetings and those are things that will be rituals and things that will never be I'm going to like, you know, ignore them or not, they are important, yes.
More important than my podcast, my family, everything because it's my life, they're putting things first, but I'd rather be free and happy than achieve it or get money or that's all the rest, you know, bro, that's no good. you're happy, oh yeah, I agree, move on, oh, you were going to say about watching Richard Pryor pose a question, yeah, oh yeah, yeah, you work with Richard Pryor, well I don't work with him, it's not , but you know, when I was a goalie, it's um. When I moved to Hollywood, you know he was sick, but he still did commercials and he came with his wheelchair and we both would like Freddy Soto Bob Oh Shaq, we would have to pick him up on stage, put him on and then like he would have done it. snot in his nose and we wiped it off like cocaine, not because he was sick, oh, he's that sick, yeah, yeah, and because he couldn't do it himself, you know, I mean, and we put the microphone there and it was a blessing to see. that guy because he was still super fun even in that state he has another guy that used to come in is Carlin well I was working the back door one time the first time George Carlin went there and I was working the back door and he showed up.
For me he was very scared because I am a big fan and the one who came up to me and said: what is your name? and I, Bobby Lee, nice to meet you. I'm George, he did a show, he did it every year for three years. years in a row and every year I ordered, every year I ordered there, he would walk next to me and say Mr. Lee he remembered and those kind of guys taught me a class that has moved away from stand-up comedy it's a class that you knew who has it Sebastian, yeah, yeah, I mean, but a lot of these younger kids and I want to name names right now. there's not going to be someone who did it that I helped, it was fundamental interests for that person to turn it into a woman, a man, a man or a woman or yes, yes, no class, hmm, they bit me every chance I got , and that's how for me I'm still going to have you know for me I'm Korean and I Joe Rogan you know Joe goes to me how come you're so distant in front of me because I respect you and when you come to the Comedy Store? have a thousand comics or surround yourself, right?
I understand why, but I'm going to take a step back because I don't want to be intrusive because I respect you and you're one of the kings of the game, right? I respected that, yeah, it's class, so I learned from all those old men at Fox, yeah, right, so that's how you feel. I mean, you've been having trouble at the Comedy Store recently. TRUE? You mentioned these on your podcast I've been having trouble yeah, yeah, what's going on, what do you mean what's going on? You don't want to be in the Comedy Store. I don't want to be the Comedy Store because, um, the Comedy Store used to be a place where If you put in your time, you'll be treated like Mr.
Right, but now it's fame that dictates it and whoever's attractive and there are people who get spots every night. , they don't necessarily have to call mm-hmm, right. That's the name of the game now, so the guys that been there, as you know, like me, I get the right spots, but not every night, and I'll get some, some of these suckers go to the shows, yeah, one night, right? and that's why it's been a place, it's also a place to not grow, it's because you see that you're there, it's exhausted, you're performing with heavyweights, right, how do you try something new?
Yeah, I can't, it's hard because Can't I have to survive because when you're in the audience now? This last year I saw Francis Ford Coppola in the audience. I saw Quentin Tarantino in the audience. I have seen the most important people in the world. The game just sitting is what I'm going to do my first Tenten in mind for ten minutes new, yeah, no, I'll kill him so I can get in, you know, I mean your life, yeah, so you can play a nunchuck and Kill Bill three, let's get to a question here at Moore Bobby, what's up?
Oh, I have a question for Bobby, from fourth grade, my best friend was Korean, his parents, his grandmother, I live, I'm straight from Korea, um, he barely spoke English. She speaks some English and every time she went to a sleepover all they did was order Papa John's and then for breakfast in the morning she would put the Papa John's in the microwave like she didn't even throw it in the oven in pieces microwave, especially Papa John's, crazy, so my question. Do they microwave their pizzas afterwards or throw them in the oven or toaster oven or is it just a Korean thing, okay gang, gang, gang, bro, what's up with the Marines, bro, leave that knowledge on your son because we want I know bro, you all are out there slipping and sliding without taking the shortcuts, they brought you a chef shortcut, so what yeah, yeah, those are really the first of all, the number one, those are ghetto Koreans, okay, okay, GK, they call them, yeah, there was. a GK for sure, okay, okay, number two, Koreans came, especially my family came from poverty hmm, my parents, my mother, um, when I was 8 years old, when I was walking by my little sister's school, a truck military, a military truck ran me over and those n dragged me down the street so there's no ambulance so um my uncle had to pick up my dead aunt put her in rice bags so this is the light this is the yes so this it's the experience they come from that's why they heat their Papa John's in the microwave who gives a number two who gives a right and the number two let me say this buddy it's okay you know what my mom said that's mean I'll even tell you something worse if you didn't finish your cereal right you have it frozen flakes you put the milk right, you ate the cereal but you're full hmm right, you leave it mm-hmm you go to school the next morning guess what's behind in the box the cereal flakes soaked the soaked ones and you had to eat them or you hear a beep, amen brother, you and Papa Papa, a man, you have another question, no, no, wow, how long does this last for Matt, man?
I think we've done enough. I thought that question would make him happier, well, no. I like it when he goes in and out. How long did we do our 45? Yeah, that's a lot, man, that was amazing, Bobby Lee, I love you, man, I love you right, you know, I love you, I wish they would do a show together someday, bro. Not only do I not want to be real, there are a lot of heads, bro, sometimes some of these fools succeed mm-hmm and I understand why I think sometimes I'll be honest, you know, but all the good things that have happened to me. brother, you are so resilient and your voice is so original.
I'm so proud of you, man, you're so funny, you're so funny, you're so inherently funny and my hat goes off to your brother, I love you brother.
