Jun 08, 2021
Hello, it's me, today I'm going to

make

a craft kit. Wow yes, I have always loved the idea of art and craft kits. It's a box that you buy that has everything you need and all you have to do is bring creativity and boom. Wonderful in concept, I used to

make

a lot of these and just stopped doing them because a lot of them ended up being disappointing. To be honest, either they are aimed at very young people and there is simply not enough creative freedom. Step one Step two Step three and then at the end, yes, you have the exact same thing as each person who bought this kit that I want to create, on the other side you have the kits aimed at seniors, add

custom

calligraphy to your available file folders in black white gray and off-white can you die of boredom?

I'm sorry, but I can't get excited about many of the kits they market for adults. I don't know why adults aren't allowed to love color. I can't appreciate neutrals, look at my house, not this part, but the rest of my house. You know you're going to see a lot of neutrals and limited color palettes because it's relaxing, it's nice, but if I'm going to create art, gimme. color gives me everything cute that I love, that's what art is to me, it's fun and I know I'm not the only one like that, so why don't we have more things like this on the market?

I don't know, someone needs them. to create it, why are you looking at me? I met someone else anyway. I really hope you can't see the mosquito bites on my cheek. I went out this week and was very rudely attacked in the face, okay this is the kit. that I've selected, this is actually aimed at adults, it's definitely not the same level of boring as a lot of the other adult kids I've seen and I think we can shake it up a bit and inject a little. more fun and energy boost, I just spit everywhere. I have some ideas.

Okay, it's a glass stone art craft kit. Well, I'm thinking these little things you can make

out of. I love that kind of trash. These are all

pins

that I created a lot of mess, it's my favorite so I think I'll enjoy it. Learn how to create stunning works of art with the Glass Stone Craft Kit, from eye-catching ornaments to statement necklaces, all 10 projects in this kit. will develop and develop your artistic skills in glass stone, oh that doesn't sound good, I may have dropped my camera and now every time I turn it on it makes that sound, please let's open this box, oh they all fell , so this is what we have in a book. book brochure it's a small book wow wow wow how come there is so much information?

Honestly, it's better to have more instructions than necessary than less, so I appreciate that. They also have this decorative paper pack, but I will say they are quite pretty. designs very pretty designs but there is also no rainbow there is no ice cream these little glass hooks come in the package like little cookies it looks like it is holding a drop of water it is so bright and clear I love it we also have huge some do I look like a fish or I just look stupid, probably stupid and then a container of craft glue, so there are very few supplies here, wait a second, I thought we were going to make necklaces and statement ornaments, why don't you include the things for Hmm, this kit was very cheap, I paid 8.99 but they have actually increased in price since then.
Honestly, I'd rather pay a little more and get everything for the project rather than get half the stuff, there's just not much here. I know it's a lot easier to criticize than to build something from scratch, but I think they could have done it a little better. I guess it doesn't really matter for my purposes because I wasn't going to make a necklace anyway. Oh, look at my statement necklace. In fact, I'm going to try creating

custom

backgrounds for mine. These are pretty. I will save them. I'll probably never use them. Let me start reading about how to glue glass to paper.
Wow, that's weird. This isn't like referencing the kit at all, it's almost. like this book wasn't made to go in the kit okay so after all the nonsense we come to the first project which is the peacock paperweight a paperweight does anyone actually use paperweights does anyone exactly it seems? If you take one of these you take something pretty, you stick it on top, that's basically it, all this extra stuff is just words, common sense and ideas for things where you need extra supplies, it doesn't even give you enough to make the paperweight because it you're supposed to add felt to the core we haven't felt I mean could because I've felt it but you're really going to make that assumption that every person has felt I don't think that's fair what I'm basically going to spend the rest of my time is ignoring this kit and I'm just going to have fun making some cool custom pins and designing them myself we're going to break up, we're going to go rogue, I'm going to let you stay, but I only want you. knowing you were a little disappointing how am I going to make custom images for my pins?
I will be back. I just bought an iPad recently. This is the first iPad I've ever had and I can draw on it and it's a lot of fun. I will create the images digitally. Alerts: we have a defective bubble. Also, these are not called bubbles. I think the book called them cabochons. I like to say better bubble. yeah, that was my phone, we gotta get the size of these, the big ones, two inches in diameter, an inch and a quarter, very small, it's doing facial recognition, come on, you know me, an inch and a quarter by an inch and fourth, this is It will make drawing much easier because instead of drawing in such a big space we can draw in such a big space.
Oh I have to decide what I'm going to draw before I start drawing, this is just a reminder though, I announced this last week, my Georgie plush is available in my store so be sure to check the link, this is a plush limited so if you want one there's only a week left to get it next time you see me the time will be Basically so don't wait don't forget Georgie. Now I'm going to get into the art of this. Hey, I'm here, now it's my turn, so I started with something simple. They're all in a circular format, so obviously.
I have to start with a donut, come on please, I drew this donut with the glaze melting. I wanted to work with maximum frosting area because more frosting area means more area for sprinkles. Looking back, I probably should have made those sparks many times. thicker as this image is going to be very small the very small sprinkles are going to be even smaller it might be hard to see you a mess, a little silly, okay I forgive you, there's my sparkly donut design and now I'm warmed up , OK? I'm going to start with the next one.
I'm feeling very comfortable. I wanted to make a little character, so I'm drawing a bear with its head stuck in a cherry, which may sound awkward. Well, just look at that face. Tell me I love drawing irritated characters. They are so cute. However, it's not pretty. It probably sounds gross. Yes, please stop. I realize it looks like an apple, but it's not. It's a cherry on top and oh man, digital art, my friend, will never completely replace it. traditional art for me, the delight of real painting, I can't even think of ever experiencing that, I also hate using the word delight, but many things are much easier with digital art, I mean, there is no mess, the layers are They perform effortlessly. the undo button combo is the easiest thing ever and there's my grumpy cherry.
The next one actually came from an idea I had in my last video. I mentioned putting butterfly wings on a cat. If you watched last week's video, you know why. It didn't end up happening, but I decided to make a quick and simple design of a pastel rainbow cat with some little butterfly wings. The lower body gave me a little trouble and looks a little weird, but I think it's still kind of cute. Overall, for this one you can see I'm starting with some dripping and look at this, I didn't get the shot right the first time, well, do it again, digital art, so I'm drawing a watermelon, which is the strawberry.
The watermelon restriction is over. It's been over a month since I decided to forego watermelon and strawberry themed designs, since you know, I've made them several times before, but I think I'm back at it now. Did I cheat? Many times during the restriction maybe it was a good effort. I'm always trying to figure out how to include the inside and outside aspect of the watermelon in a creative way, so here I have the watermelon dripping on the outside. I think it looks great. I was supposed to make super simple designs for these because they're going to end up really small.
I may have gotten a little carried away with this one, but it has to be my favorite of all, so I'm not complaining as these glass bubbles remind me of fish eyes. I decided to draw a fish. This is an orange fish with a shine. I gave her some kind of flower crown, but you know, sea fish things. It's so fun with this, I love the colors on her and the last one, I'm going for another animal design and she's wearing a real flower crown. I went for slightly muted pastel colors on this one and I usually love that kind of vibe, but just a note, I think when it was all said and done the designs I preferred were the ones with the brighter saturated colors, they looked better under that glass, so if I did this again, I might have gone with some brighter colors here. especially for the background, okay my computer is running right now please shut up why are you stressing what are you working on?
Sorry if the light looks weird. My ring light spontaneously turned off. I turned it back on, but now I'm scared. Touch him, I threatened to kill him a couple of weeks ago. I hate that my ring light is always reflecting. I might kill you one of these days, so I wonder if this isn't retaliation for that comment. I think I'm going to do it. I have to get a new light. I've been drawing for a couple of hours. These are all really simple designs, but I had a lot of fun with them, but not necessarily better than the designs they provided in the kit.
In terms of skills, they can be worse. how to make custom things and make them my own i already loaded my printer with cardstock paper since they say to use the thickest paper you can get now we actually put these things together hello oh god always the ass thank you it's not food opie it's it's not food, no is all we have to do is just take the stone, clean it, oh my gosh, I just ruined this bottle, take some glue, put it on a brush, spread it on the back of the stone and then place it. at the top of the image, pretty incredibly simple, actually sign up for a challenge when you get an adult kick, how long is it supposed to last?
I was supposed to press firmly for 30 seconds, I didn't, are you done, keep going, okay? I have all my little bubbles stuck in a quick note. If you decide to do this and use a printer, make sure you have a laser printer. If you're using an inkjet printer, you'll probably want to seal the ink with something. because the glue will probably cause the ink to spread. The book says to use scissors. I think a better tool is a knife. I'd say it's a pretty precise cut. There is nothing like the precision of an exact. Let's keep going.
How cute, they are very cute. I'm going to turn them into pins. I'll just use tacky glue and it'll be fine. I actually looked online and you can get these little glass bubbles, what are they called cap-chans? For the same price I paid for the kit, I could have gotten 60 of them, so wow, they don't match, that's definitely going to bother someone. It's in the back, you'll never see it. I really do not care. Look, I will do it. It was intentional this time you're going to cry about it. This video wasn't really about the kit.
I just did my thing and had fun and really enjoyed this process. This was a fun way to make pins. I'm really happy with them, this was a really cool way to turn your digital art into something physical. I think you should go out and buy this kit. You know, especially if you're planning on making your own art, then there really is absolutely no point in getting the kit, I mean if you just want to use a scrapbook paper then maybe, but although the kit wasn't that good , I'll give him some credit because he gave me the idea.
I hope you enjoyed this video. and I hope you like the little designs I made and see you next week bye
