50 Dollar Tree DIY's + Hacks (Watch This To Be A DIY PRO)

Dec 22, 2021
I love that the

dollar

tree

has all of their spring items out at

this

time. I picked up one of these little

dollar

tree

tins they had last year and they are great for upcoming projects. I'm going to use some of my macrame cord. I'm going to start at the back and I'm just going to hot glue it to the back and start to hot glue it around every time I get to the back. Now I use

this

macrame cord in many projects. I will link it. Below in the description box so you can go see it next.

I wanted to spray paint this piece so I'm going to be gluing the top half down so I'm just going to take my painters tape and go up half way up. and paste it now. I didn't want to spray paint the top so I grabbed some of my craft paper and I'm going to tape it all the way around the top to fully seal the top edge. I'm going to turn it around and I'm going to go in with my spray paint. t's heavier with his spray paint so I went in and just did a coat of this black rust-oleum spray paint then removed the tape and put it in my hallway and I'm going to add one of my new favorite plants this is a plant pendant i bought at ikea and i'm just going to put it up and move the branches and i think it looks so beautiful last time i bought from the dollar tree i was so excited to find these little sconces i feel like it's been forever since the tree dollar tree has had them and if you don't follow me on instagram you want to do it listening to diy because i post all my dollar tree shopping trips so for this project you want to get six of the candle holders so we can do a grouping now my dollar tree i had black and they had white too so just pick your favorite or you can always paint them later you will want to grab some e6000 or some adhesive stick like gorilla glue with one of your sconces which you're going to ke ep that completely separate will be your bottom tier then you'll create a second tier so you'll take one of the candle holders add some e6000's and then you'll take another candle holder and place it on top so you've stacked two candle holders.

I felt that these candles really matched very well. the chandeliers you're going to start with add your e6000 put it on top then put the middle one add a little more e6000 then put the top one let them dry completely overnight i'll add a few candles. from ikea i found they have nice big candles that are very cheap you can also buy candles like this at walmart and i think these three look great together in a group i took two of the biggest vases they have at dollar tree also took a canvas from the dollar tree and then a 12 by 12 canvas from walmart one of my favorite things to do is these pore painting techniques I think they are so much fun and I thought this would be a great excuse to try some of the dollar tree paints dollar so I grabbed a wide variety of paints and blues, greens, whites, blacks, they didn't have gold so I used a gold that I had on hand and then I think I also had a yellow to start this project you're going to take your vase and you're going to put it on your canvas now you're supposed to put a cup under your vase which i messed up in the first one but i remember to do it in the second one that way you can easily move your vase which i didn't do very well so that you're going to put your face down on your canvas then you're going to take your paints and put them in a cup and you're just going to alternate colors from there you're going to start at the top of your vase and start pouring them into your base now you need to make sure you have enough paint to go away to fully cover with one of mine i had to go back in and add extra paint but that's ok now give it a chance to run out once your vase is fully covered you can move your vase off your canvas that's going to leave your canvas with a ton of paint on it so it's fun to move the canvas around and make a piece of wall art with the canvas so it's like a two in one kind of project I think which is funny, so i did this with a little canvas as well as the 12 by 12.

Now actually i messed up the 12 by 12 a bit. but the smaller frame turned out just fine now. you want to let them sit overnight and dry because they will keep dripping off excess paint then the next day i go in and move the piece and let it dry again for another day it will probably need a good 24 hours for everything to dry completely Here's a look at how these fun vases and canvas turned out to be a wreath you definitely needed to create. I'm going to wear those gold rings that I love from walmart. You can get these in a pack of three for 288.

I'm going to use the largest one. I also bought a variety of dollar tree flowers and also some eucalyptus garlands from walmart so I'm going to start by adding the eucalyptus garland to the bottom then I'm going to add the white flowers I took out and add them to the bottom of the wreath now all these pieces that I'm going to be hot gluing on I also had this little lavender mix that had some really cool green pieces on it so I'm going to take those out and add those next too I just went and added where I needed to add so if I needed more eucalyptus or more white flowers added now this would be perfect on your front door.
Here's a look at our crown. Next, we are going to make a soap container. now my dollar tree when i went there they were completely out of soap c containers so i came up with another option we're going to do so i found this container it was actually in the vase section of my dollar tree and it was a small candy jar and it was a mason jar type of container and then I'm going to use a soap that I already had. I'm going to use the top of that, but you can always pick up. You know, a soap cap.
Just use one you have nearby. your house so I'm going to spray the metal part of the lid and the top of my soap container with a flat black spray paint and they're both going to take two coats then I'm going to spray paint the base of my container of white mason jar so next I need to create an opening so I can fit my soap dispenser onto the mason jar lid so to do this I took out my wire cutters and tried to open an opening and cut it out as best I could Could it not look super cute at the bottom?
But you won't be able to see it, so I wasn't so worried about it. Then I'm going to take the lid from my soap container and put it on top of the new mason jar container. I created a label that says soap and all I'm going to do is cut that out. I'm going to use that same blue. mod podge container and place the label side down let it dry completely and then I'm going to put a nice top coat on it from there all you have to do is fill your container with soap and put the lid on top now to do a matching set, i wanted to make a toothbrush holder so i was able to find this white one at dollar tree and you guys when you pick them up anywhere else can be a little more expensive so i love getting them at dollar tree. and they look like something you would buy anywhere so i wanted to add a little tag to it that said brush so i'm going to cut out my tag and use those same steps to mod podge let it dry then put a layer of mod podge on top this is really easy to do if you want to add extra layers of mod podge just to make it a little bit more protected you could do that too and I think these two look really cute together I was very excited to find this container in the party section.
It was a cool shape and I really liked it. I had not seen this container. You'll have to tell me first if you've seen this one before, but again I painted it with two coats of white spray paint. I created a sign that says hand towels for this one and I'm just going to cut it out. I'm going to use my same mod podge technique as you can see these projects are really repetitive, but they are all very easy to do and something you could do to create easy vanity decor. I'm going in. with my paint pen around the top of this bin then i grab a pack of white hand towels you could use whatever you have on hand and i will roll them all up and put them in my bin and this bin actually held quite a few towels by hand and this is how they all look together.
Get people to leave comments saying that some of the DIYs you make are hard to find, so I wanted to think of some ideas that everyone could find at any Dollar Tree store, so I'm going to pick up a couple of Dollar Tree books. I can get hardcover books for just a dollar, so I grabbed three of them. I wanted to personalize these books just a little bit so I'm going to stain the pages so to do it you're just going to take any tea bag it doesn't matter what it is and then you're going to put it in some water and you're going to rub it down along the edges of your book, then I'm going to let it dry completely and then I'm going to Open the book so I can paint the outer cover.
Now I wanted them to be a light navy color and I didn't have that color, so I took two colors I had and mixed them together. I had a blue chalk paint and I also had Waverly ink, so I mixed those two paints together and then painted the outside of the books. I went over the edges as well to make sure to cover the edges so when they were closed it would look nice when it was on the dollar tree I grabbed some of these cool stickers they have I love and wanted to put them on the pages of the book so I cut out some of the designs I liked and then added them to my book.
What I did was join the pages so they were close together. Then I put the decal on and then I have this little scraper tool from Cricut. but you could really use anything to put them on like a gift card or anything to add pressure and hold the pages together while you rub the decal on and make sure you get it all the way down before removing the cover. and i wasn't sure how they were going to turn out but i think they look really cute and then i just stacked them in a bunch and i love the way they turned out i love all the pottery i find on the pottery barn website and i came across this vase and I thought man I'm really going to tr and to recreate this now it doesn't look exactly the same but it was definitely inspired by this face so I grabbed one of their more traditional vases that they have on the dollar tree you should definitely be able to find this one and then i also chose i filled a container of dollar tree putty so i started by putting on gloves because any time you work with spaculate you definitely need to wear gloves if you're going to mess with that like i'm next i took that putty and i just I'm going to apply it around my base in the original image the texture came out and I was trying to figure out how to create that so I'm going to use just a little stick I had from one of the boxes they sell on the tree l of the dollar you could use a popsicle stick, pen, pretty much anything for this and I'm just going to create lines by removing the caulk around the vase and do it all the way down I wasn't precise about this I did it freehand because, honestly, I wanted him to. ok, a bit rustic so I wasn't worried about it being perfect.
I let it dry completely overnight before deciding to paint it. Then I added some matte white spray paint just to give it an overall look. Now the next part was kind of funny. I always love it when I start painting and I don't really know how things are going to turn out so I took a few different acrylic paints I had in a variety of browns and golds and I'm going to use them like that as well. little shelf liner thing you can pick up at dollar tree but honestly you could use anything for this you could use a paper towel or you could also use as a sack from dollar tree and i started by dabbing the paint around the vase and i concentrated the paint mainly on the bottom and the top because I wanted the paint to be more concentrated in those two areas now that I was going I realized that I wanted the paint to be more muted and not as vibrant so I decided to put some water on it and mixing that with my paints when i did that really gave me that look i was going for of a muted look so i like the way it looks so i decided i needed to add some black around the top and bottom edges and just i worked with it until it had that look i was going for and here is the final look i wanted to make a weathered tray for my kitchen table so i found some supplies s at Dollar Tree.
I found these little wooden cars and thought the wheels on these would be great for making feet. to my tray the dollar tree didn't have the size board I needed so I just went to my garage and grabbed a long board honestly you can use any board you have any size it will work for this project now you can use your scissors for the next part but i actually used wire cutters and it worked great i cut the rods connecting thewheels to the cars so i was just left with the little circles below i wanted my dash to look really distressed so i went in with my hammer and i just kinda ha Its fun you know break this dash a little bit leave it a bit beaten up and worn, you can do this.
With a hammer, you can use just about anything to do this. Next I took the circles and glued them to the outside of my board to make little feet and folded them over so I had two little wheel circles if you wanted. to be taller, you can always add extra small circles. I'm using the golden oak color and I'm just going to wipe off one layer and then wipe off the excess that's all there is to make this nice tray after what I did with I put it on my kitchen table I'm just going to decorate it with some plants a book and some candle holders and here's a look at how the tray turned out so this next hack is one I use every year in the spring so the dollar tree has these amazing solar lights that work well I've never had one that really didn't work well so I took three solar lights and then I also took three of these nice new glass containers that they have in the plate section on the dollar tree so it's going to take away the bottom hal If of your solar light you are also going to remove the lids from your glass container then you are going to add hot glue to the outside of your solar light and glue it to your container now this is it.
Easy I like to place them on my patio they light up and make a great light on his patio at night so I told my husband this next project was probably my new favorite project and of course he looked at me like I was crazy because he Definitely sees all the DIY in our house, but I love how this turned out guys, so I grabbed a green pot at Dollar Tree, then went outside and grabbed a big stick. quarters of an inch to an inch in diameter, I didn't film myself cutting this because when I cut it was when the temps were like in the negatives, so it was enough for me to run out into my backyard to get a stick and bring it inside, what sorry no clip of me getting th now it's stick i trimmed it down a bit to be the shape i basically wanted it to be more of a topiary like shape so i wanted it to have some branches so i wanted the base that it was really clean and then I wanted some sticks on top that I could use to add some more branches.
I went to Walmart and grabbed three of their olive branches. These are in the floral section. It's three dollars. I have each received them multiple times, so I hope your store has them next. I'm going to start cutting the individual branches. I want them to be this long, but you'll see when you slice them about how long they are now, how are we going to add this to our tree? well i wanted it to look really realistic so what i did was i took my drill and i put a bit that was about the same thickness as my branches and started digging deeper into my tree branch, you have to be very careful when you do this, you don't.
Don't press too hard otherwise your branch will just snap off that's why I said make sure it's at least three quarters to an inch thick that way it won't automatically snap off every time you start going to do this and then I'm just going to dig in now if you dig in at an angle that will help every time you insert the branch so that it sticks out at the right kind of angle that a normal branch would stick out like if it did it only from the side it's going to stick out towards one side so i started by just drilling holes around it and gluing my branches on now some of my branches went through and they stuck very well some of them i had to add a little bit of hot glue so you can see ariar but I had my hot glue gun and if I needed it I would add some hot glue to the branch to put it on now, as you do this start to form your branches so move them up. rotate them just to see how they will look, then you can see the areas where you need to add more.
I wanted to pot my tree before going any further. Now you could use concrete for this. What I had on hand was plaster of paris, so what I did was just put the plaster on. in the existing pot and then added water when I first made this it was a little messy because I forgot about the little opening at the bottom so I quickly took some hot glue and just hot glued the rim so it that I sealed it so it wouldn't be a problem but you're just going to mix your plaster you're a sea glove with water until it's on point I'd say three quarters of the way up then I put my plants in the middle to keep this you could probably use some popsicle sticks instead.
I had some wooden spoons so I put them around but they weren't strong enough to hold so I had to use painters tape and tape around this so it could really hold. instead i let it sit and dry for 24 hours then i went back the next day and removed the tape a bit from the areas i cut the branch in i felt they were sticking out too much so we used my gray elephant paint and lightly painted them over those areas . I also went in with white paint and painted over it as well, and yeah. It looks like paint but I think it makes it blend more and if you're back from a distance you don't realize it's paint now, I still had a few leaves, twigs and olives left so I decided to go. with my hot glue gun and just started putting olives and little branches where I felt like there were some empty areas or sparse areas, then filled it all in with rocks.
I love this piece so much I put it on my mantle. I would say my favorite thing this year that I have found at Dollar Tree are these cool little hanging shelves. I find them in places like five below and you see them in every store but finding them for a dollar is awesome so I picked up three of them on the dollar tree so I'm going to be making a simple continuous shelf and wanted to show you how make it so that it keeps one of your shelves completely intact then take another shelf and cut the strings on top where ever the piece of metal is is i just take the piece of metal off and cut it on top then i'm going to leave my shelf that I have intact as it is and then with the shelf that I cut out I'm going to take those pieces of twine and I'm going to tie them around the knots at the bottom of my top shelf once I tie a knot I'm also going to add a little bit of hot glue just to hold them up and make them really secure now what you want to make sure your shelf is as level as possible so when you add decor to this it doesn't fall over it will repeat the same steps with another shelf at the bottom now you could make it as tall as you wanted i just added in all three shelves now i knew you would have questions about how to decorate this so i wanted to show you guys gu i am actually decorating this so I think with a shelf like this you want to choose similar items so I went for terracotta pots since it's spring and summer and I've added terracotta pots to all three of my shelves, then I've added a bit of green and I'm also going to use white accent pieces just to tie the whole look together when you do a shelf like this you just want to make sure you pick similar colors so everything looks cohesive and here's a look at how the shelf turned out for this next project i grabbed two dollar tree glass jars that were of different sizes i wanted to give these canisters a frosted look and i found a really cheap option for spray paint on amazon you know i'll link everything below in the cu description adro so i bought this frosted paint and i'm going to spray it in the pots on the front and inside and ended up only needing to do one coat of frosting but you could probably do two coats if you wanted it to be more frosty i guess which is the word so i also bought a product called basket weave and have used it on a few projects before its just a very thin piece of wood and its on a big spool.
I'll link it below as well what I did was cut two long pieces of this because I wasn't sure exactly how much I was going to use and I wanted to go ahead and stain it so I stained one side of the wood with a color called Special Walnut Once that had a chance to dry, I wanted the base to be these pieces of wood. At first I wasn't sure exactly how many I was going to put in there so I just cut it to size and then used my hot glue. Gun to glue it to the back, I had one of these that came up after the fact so I think next time what I would do is use e6000 and hot glue to make them really secure so if you're doing this project I would probably use e6000 on hot glue so I wrapped it up and ended up having four pieces of wood on each and I think they look great. t sit as an accent piece you guys will have to tell me if you like these recently when i was at the dollar tree i came across these ferns they are amazing greenery for the dollar tree i was so excited they had something like this so i grabbed a couple of them i also took this large container i think its supposed to be a drinking cup but i thought it would make a perfect vase i started by painting the vase with two coats of white spray paint now i wanted it had a speckled look so i took some black paint and mixed it with water then dabbed the paint in my jar I really didn't like the way it looked so I went in with a sponge you can pick up on the dollar tree so I rubbed it in and the stains were much more off with my ferns.
I wanted to mimic the look of feathers or pompous grass that you see everywhere that is so popular. I took some beige colors that I had. now i know this color is a little bit different its a color my husband had its a camo color so i started by painting all the ferns on both sides this kind of dark tan once it had a chance to dry, I realized that I wanted them to have a little more dimension. so i went back with a lighter shade now i just did the lighter shade very sparingly so it gave me that two tone effect.
I added the ferns to my container and here's a look at the final look. I'll be doing some really cool lifts. I'm going to use these square pieces of wood from the dollar tree. I love that dollar tree. You now have these wooden items in your craft section. Let me know below if your dollar tree has these wood craft items. I would really like to know how many actually have them and then I'm going to use some of the dollar tree wooden cubes as well now these are really simple to make I'm just going to take some hot glue and put my cubes on the back of one of the squares now on my second one i'm going to put two cubes in to make the riser a little taller to give me a little bit of variance now since these are wood i don't want to pass that up so i'm going to use one wood stain on golden oak and i'm just going to just brush the stain off and wipe it off.
These literally took me five minutes to make and they are great for raising plants or any type of decoration you want. This next trend is creating wall art with craft paper, so I decided I would make my own out of Dollar Tree products, so I grabbed a roll of craft paper. I also took a very long bamboo skewer. the time of year that they are going to take them out, so I have a pack of them. I bought mine last year, but I took a pack of them because they're great for projects, so I started by taking the skewer and driving it in. the paper then i used some twine i already had and i'm going to tie it to b both sides now after i tied it i went back in and added a little bit of glue to the edge just to make sure it was really secure.
Next, you'll roll out the paper for as long as you want for your project. the paper is on a roll it will curl up naturally and i didnt want that to happen so i found some wood i already had on hand its actually shims i bought for another project you could use a piece of wood you could use a piece of cardboard pretty much anything here and what i did was glue it to the bottom of the paper and then i wrapped it around once and glued it in place now every time i hang this it's going to weigh down on the bottom so it's nice and straight , then I took the paper and I turned it over to the front, I took a sponge like the little loofah section on the dollar tree and I'm going to cut the sponge in half so I have a half circle next I'm going to use my white chalk paint wavy i'm going to make a fun pattern on the edge now i did this randomly sometimes i take my half circle and put them in the same direction sometimes i face them against each other flip them really this is the fun part of being creative , I just tried not to use the same pattern below each other on the little grid and i did this all the way up you can repeat this pattern for whatever size you want your piece to be let it dry completely and then you have a really cute bohemian wall hanging topost one of my latest dollar tree videos i was so excited to find these new planters they have at dollar tree dollar tree has never had planters this big this is amazing and i was so excited to do a project with them now i was going for something like this a look ceramic barn with this piece so i started by spray painting a layer of white spray paint now i stopped at one layer because i was going to add different layers and textures i didn't need it to be completely opaque now no i don't know if you guys are sick of seeing me use the quikrete but i loved it for creating a cement look so what you're going to do is take some quikrete you can buy this at home depot lowe's any of those stores and you're going to put it in mix it with a little bit of water you want it to be like a thick pudding consistency so what I'm going to do is take the quick crease and I'm going to brush it along the bottom of my container as well.
I'm going to put a little bit along the edges and really I'm treating this quikrete almost like a paint so I put it on then go back in with a paper towel to remove any excess now with quikrete you want to let it set, so usually what I do is I let it sit overnight and then I decided to go back and add some color to it so I've really loved the fawn color of Waverly so I'm going to use that color and blend it just to give it more contrast, you could add a little more white, you could even add a few more grays if you wanted to.
I added color until he was happy with it and here's a look at how I styled it. I found this real. and nice cutting board in the seasonal section at the dollar tree not sure if it was easter or spring but it was really cute so I'm going to start by turning the cutting board over and spray paint two coats of paint on spray on the back you may have to do a 3rd coat because sometimes this cork doesn't take spray paint very well so you want to make sure it's completely covered next I'll be using one of my favorite Dollar products Tree which is the cork they sell in their wood section with all the craft items so I wanted to add the cork to the bottom of my cutting board so I'm going to put it on the cork trail around the cutting board and cut it this is very easy to do then you can just add your cork to your cutting board I'm also going to repeat the same step making a little strip for the top of my cutting board I'm going to go around as well the edges with a black paint pen and then to finish off I'm going to be using g a burlap ribbon that the dollar tree just started selling this year for the top and here's a look at my cutting board, so there are so many fun tricks around dollar tree vases.
I actually saw this trick on tick tock if you ain't following me. tik tok i really should post fun videos of all my diy projects my tic toc name is liz from mcdiy but i saw this project so you just need to get a clear glass container from dollar tree you really could use any you wanted i got the round one and then you'll also want to get the clear stones they sell at the dollar tree next you'll take your hot glue gun and start placing the stones around the edge now i have to say whenever i was doing this project.
I really liked the way it looked clear so I definitely think you could let this look clear like you can't really tell I used hot glue underneath and I thought it looked cool but in the end. I decided to go ahead and add some spray pain So I used two coats of rust-oleum matte spray paint and spray painted one side let it dry flipped it over and did the other side you could put any plant in here. I added a succulent I had from Dollar Tree. I love the high end decor, but not so much the price.
I found this wall hanging on the Pottery Barn website and knew I could recreate something for less that would look really cute so I picked up a clear tray from Dollar Tree that you can beat it in their party supplies section and then I'm going to use too a cord. The dollar tree sells this nautical rope for a dollar which is a great deal but I actually like to buy it on a big spool because I use it all the time and the one I get is from amazon and it's the same price as the dollar tree buck and I'll link it below so if you've seen any of my string trays I'm going to start by creating it the exact same way I'm going to hot glue the middle of my tray and then I'm going to start wrapping tightly the rope around adding hot glue as I go to make sure there are no gaps in the rope so you can't see the clear tray behind it so you're going to wrap the rope until you get to the outer edge make sure you give the flip the tray over so there's none of that clear tray showing on top once you get to the end you're going to flip the tray over and hot glue it on. rest of the rope back I wanted to mimic the look of that geometric pattern around the tray so what I did was just take some craft paper that I had and cut out a triangle next I'm going to use painters tape to really help me out here so i took several strips of painters tape and put them in a box you really could put this on whatever surface you have so i'm going to take that triangle and put it on top of my painters tape using a sharpie i'm going to trace around the triangle next i'm just going to cut out that triangle and then place it around my tray and now i'm going to create several triangles like this so that i can place them around my tray what i'm trying to do is cover up the rope that i don't want to get painted over and leave the areas I want to be painted exposed so I'm going to create triangles and follow them around my tray now I don't want the middle to be painted so I'm going to use masking tape as well painters in the middle now that I have the tray is ready.
I'm going to spray paint it with three coats of white spray paint. Any kind of cloth or string will soak up the paint, so you really have to use multiple coats. Otherwise, it just won't have the same vibration. look and it will look a little more faded if that's the look you're going for maybe just do two coats but I went ahead and did three next I'll just remove that tape and put it in a pooling at my house and I think it looks awesome my outdoor patio wouldn't be complete without some fresh herbs so i wanted o make some really cute signs i found these little chalkboard signs with the clips on the back on the dollar tree now these are pretty easy to find, so i created some labels for the front of these so i went into cricut design space and selected a font i like and then typed in the names of the herbs.
I'm going to print them on a white smart vinyl and then erase them. I'm going to use transfer tape to put them on my little chalk signs. now for my plants i bought a couple of pots at walmart it was 250 but i liked how they had drainage. and then I'm going to clip the tags to the top and put them on my coffee table, so I don't know if you guys have this, but I'll be at Dollar Tree and I'll see an item and I'll think it's cool. I know exactly what that would look like, but I really don't know if it's going to turn out like that.
That's how I felt about this tapestry at the end I like it but it was definitely a process to get there so I found these tomato cages at Dollar Tree so I bought maybe four or five of them and I wanted to use the hoops now I know the dollar tree sells larger hoops but i really like that these were smaller and i knew i could create a group of them and they could be really cool the first thing i did was separate them so i just stuck with it then i grabbed some nautical rope they sell at dollar tree and i just covered the top with nautical rope then i had to move my table to really see what this would look like so i put them in a formation where i felt it would look good on the wall now for attach them all together I took a string and just wrapped the string around about three or four times once I connected them all with the string I flipped it on the back and hot glued the back and cut e The excess twine I thinned out k this part may have taken longer so it was a bit tedious so I don't know if you guys have a better idea of how I could have connected them let me know in the comments but that was the only way What could I think of? from where you didn't see a lot of glue below i wanted something really cool and visual to put on the ring so i found this scarf every time i was saving and actually used it in one of my saving projects but i had enough for that.
I thought I could fill in the little rings, so what I did was take that fabric, stretch it out, and hot glue it around the back of one ring, position it, and then cut it as close to the edge as possible because I didn't. I don't want any excess, that was my last step from there, I just hung it on the wall with command strips because it really wasn't heavy at all. Next, we're going to make a really cool rug out of Dollar Tree products, so I picked up. a rectangular rug in dollar tree so i wanted my rug to actually be a half circle so i found this piece of basket weave i had in my craft room to make a nice little curved section and glued it on with masking tape below, I traced around that edge to give me that nice even curve, then went in and cut off the excess below. going to use a nautical rope now i ended up using a spool and a half of this from amazon so i started by making loops on the top of my rope trying to make the loops as even as possible and then i would warm glue them to the mat backing , the black part of the mat, I would hot glue them together and made those loops around now actually figured out this pattern as I went along I added three rows of nautical rope from there went to the end of my little loop section and I started adding more nautical rows, then created another loop section by simply hot gluing them together and didn't measure this.
I tried to make it as even as possible when I was creating my loops and then I finished the piece by just continuing t the nautical rope and here's a look at how this rug turned out so this next project is probably my favorite I've created in all of this package. I love these little candy dishes you can buy at the dollar tree. party supplies section and I always like to pick three groups of three but they look so much better in my opinion so I'm going to start by putting a layer of painter's tape on top of each of these containers and I'm going to try of making them all look the same and have the tape about the same level then I'm going to spray paint the whole thing with a flat black spray paint now this is going to take at least two coats and I've also flipped them so they're upside down for that i don't spray the inside of my containers once it has a chance to dry i will remove the tape and then you could do so many things with this i am going to fill it with some natural dollar tree stones and then put three of my favorite succulents this is so quick and easy to make and how adorable this looks sitting on my table so one of the questions I get frequently is about the center box I use in several of my videos so I actually wanted to create another ca center frame with lumber I had in my garage so I found two scrap boards that were one by six now I had to use two because that's what I had in my garage if I had gone out and bought them I probably would have had one board but i wanted to build on what i had so i took those two boards and put them side by side which was going to be the base of my box then i found a 1x2 board i use them often they are really great borders and i go i am going to measure the edges of my boards and cut two small pieces to go on the edge and then i am going to measure the front side so i have two boards that will go on the front and back these boards are just the right size to make a nice border around my centerpiece. x now before joining them i wanted to stain all the boards so i stained them with golden oak so for the middle two boards i will join them with wood glue.
I just bought a new tool, this finish nailer. I'm super excited because it's the same one my friend Christina the DIY mommy used and she told me this is the one I needed to get so that's the one I got. She really likes it, so I'm going to take the finishing nailer. and I'm going to nail the boards on the side and then I'll nail the boards on the front and back now to decorate my board I found these really cute vases at the dollar tree so I took five of them and I'm just going to spray paint them in black spray now to fill them.
I found these green twigs in the hobby lobby, so I'm just going to put these florals, but inyou could actually use any floral and here's a look at how the centerpiece turned out i found a lot of great things in the serving aisle and one of the things i found cruz was this really cool serving bowl and i loved that it had this great texture so i'm going to paint it with two coats of white spray paint so once it's completely dry i'm going to get a color called elephant by waverly and i'm also going to grab one of my big foam brushes now i'm going to put some of that paint on the foam brush not much because I want it to be a light coat and then I'm just going to lightly apply that elephant paint on my textured piece now I'm trying to do a top coat to really get that texture out so you can always go back and add more paint, so start off gently and then you can always add more.
I think this is a great decorative bowl that you could put as a center piece or on your counter. I love going to Crafter Square at the Dollar Tree. There are always so many great finds. One of the things I found were these wooden ovals. pieces and I picked up three of them. I started by drawing a line on either side. of my pieces where i wanted to cut it with my saw next i lined up all three pieces and cut them with mivi and repeated this on the other side too now after you have finished cutting your pieces if you have any rough edges you can always sand them down, i grab some magnets on the dollar tree and will hot glue them on. back of my wood pieces and I think these make really nice magnets on my fridge so I love this time of year when there are all these huge serving plates and I found this one really cool on the dollar tree usually They don't have serving plates this big so I had to grab it because I thought it would make the perfect tray for the coffee table so I'm going to spray this again with two coats of white spray paint and then to dress it up I wanted it to have a distressed look i am pulling out something i haven't used in a long time which is my vintage effects wash which is sold out on amazon. tree brush and I'm going to lightly brush it around the edge now whenever I'm distressing I really don't know how it's going to turn out so what I like to do is add different layers until I'm happy with the result so I'm going to brush it around the edge and then I go to take a paper towel and wipe it off so it's not too much next I decided to use a black paint pen from Dollar Tree.
These paint pens are a bomb like they're amazing at Dollar Tree. These are some of the best paint pens I've ever had. worn as if you see them buy them I'm just going to slightly circle the edge of my piece I'm going to go back and add a little bit of brown until I'm happy with the look that's the amazing thing about distressing it's totally personal preference add as much or as little as you want and then I'm just going to add some decorative elements but I think this would be great to sit on as a coffee table tray it would also be great as a center piece on your kitchen table so I went ahead and picked up three of these glass vases at dollar tree these are pretty easy to find you should be able to find them at most dollar trees so to create that fun lantern look i bought a cane basket weave from amazon and will be shipping a link below to the one i picked up in particular so i started by just measuring i took out my strips so i measured one strip that was going to go up and over the top of my clear container before and then I also measured one that was going to go around the base, so I had three that were longer and then I had three that were smaller.
I wanted these to have a golden copper look, two of them, so I started spray painting them on both sides with a rose gold color. Once I finished the rose gold, I realized that it really wasn't the color I was looking for. For that, I wanted something a little more coppery, so I grabbed some of my acrylic paints. It had a brown color and something like gold. I only added those paints to give me more of that desired look I was going for. That's the fun. thing about the paint that you can always add to it to get the look.
For now, you're going to adhere them to my container. I thought I was going to use hot glue, but then decided to use e6000, so I put e6000 on each side of the glass container, and then pressed my . I guess I'll do it. call it my woven rush basket on the bins and then to let it dry I just took some painters tape and wrapped it around the bins let them dry because I probably let them dry overnight before removing the painters tape and then wrap around the basket weave in the bottom just used hot glue and repeated this with my other two containers to finish them off just added some candles and i love the way they turned out the pottery barn website has this really cool black bowl and it I thought it would make a great little decorative accent to sit on.
I scoured the dollar tree for a few items that would work for him. I found this clear bowl in the serving bowls. It's like a plastic bowl. I thought this was perfect but then I couldn't find anything t The hat was the right size so I ended up pulling out two of these containers of the Christmas stuff and decided I was going to use both lids so that's my trick when I'm on the dollar tree, so if you have an idea. for something you think you want to make, just find something that fits the same shape or size, so I took the two caps and hot glued them together.
Now I wanted them to look very even so I used some cardstock I already had from Dollar Tree and I'm going to score it because I want to cut a section that I can wrap all the way around the tops so I'm going to cut that cardstock trying to make it as even as possible , then I'm going to hot glue the cardboard around my eyelids. Now, he wanted the container to be really secure. At any time, I want something to be more secure. I'm going to e6000 so I'm going to take that e6000 and put it around the top of the lids and then I'm going to put the bowl inside then I'm going to spray paint this with two good coats of matte black spray paint now this one isn't a bowl that is edible but I think it looks great for seating decor you guys will have to tell me what you think next for our vanity we are going to put together a jewelry organizer.
I have this clear one from Dollar Tree and I usually find it in the kitchen section of my Dollar Tree, so yours may be a little different. I'm also going to use some wooden beads that I had on hand. These I buy in a big pack from Amazon and I'm going to take them to my garage and spray paint them black now when I spray paint beads I usually put them down, spray them on and then once they dry. I'm going to mix and spray them again now, you may have to do this and spray two or three times to get them all covered, but it usually works pretty well. from my jewelry organizer to make little feet I'm also going to hot glue a bead on top to make a cut out The little handle was so easy to make and now I have a cute little jewelry organizer to put on my dresser.
I like to have some decor pieces that are smaller in my bathroom so I can put them on my shelves and different areas. i picked up a canvas at the dollar tree now you guys have seen this on my channel a few times where i took the canvas and pulled out the actual part of the canvas so i can use the frame part and i'm going to use my wire cutters again and make sure take out all the staples and make it look as clean as possible on the back. Next, I'm going to use a color called Golden Oak to stain this frame and clean it up with my foam brush and wipe it down with a paper towel again.
This principle is in the link below with all the printables I created for you. I printed all of these with just regular printer paper, so I'm going to put my frame on top. and I trace around the image when I cut it out I'm going to cut a little more from the line I created so I don't see anything hanging off the edge then I'm going to hot glue it to the back of my frame and I think they look so cute on a shelf or just sitting anywhere in your bathroom so when i was hanging around the dollar tree like i normally do i came across these really cute little soap containers and thought the shape of these was really cute, plus i had a lot of product so what i decided to do was paint the container of this this is like a five minute diy i had taken all the labels off the mild soap i took the cap off the soap then used some painters tape on top and then all i did was spray paint this with a gray color once it dried i put the lid back on and this is how nice it looks in my bathroom for a dollar rattan and yarn mirrors are very popular and n this moment so i wanted to recreate one for you guys so i grabbed an 8x10 mirror at ikea i also grabbed some cardboard that i had left over i am a dollar tree project and i am going to start by using my mat to draw straight lines around my mirror , I want about an inch and a half on each side of my mirror, then I'm going to go in with my rotary cutter and cut straight lines to make my cardboard nice and straight then I'm going to glue the mirror to the center of my cardboard with hot glue I decided that I wanted to use macrame around the edge and I wanted it to be braided so what I did I cut really long pieces and cut six pieces and then once I cut the long pieces I taped them to my craft table then I'm going to take two strands for each of my braids and I'm just going to do a basic three strand braid sorry I sound like my old hair channel because we used to do four and five strand braids so yeah you're just going to make a basic braid, now I braided it to the end. so i had this like one big long braid now i don't know how but i somehow magically made it the perfect size.
Like thinking I was going to have to add more but I don't know somehow it was the perfect size so on top where I had glued it I hot glued those pieces together and cut off the excess and then started hot gluing. closer to the mirror wrapping it once i put the first layer on my mirror i wanted to wrap a second layer now as i was doing that i had to cut some of the cardboard off because i didn't take into account how long the braid was going to be so when i passed to the second layer i cut out some extra cardboard and as you can see i had enough to wrap around the back and hot glue the excess in place so for this next project i had a vision in mind, but i wasn't sure it was going to fully work so i asked my husband to help me with the measurements just because he's really good at it so it ended up working so i'm really excited to show you this one. what you are going to need for this project is two of the dollar tree cutting boards so we marked both boards at five and a half inches then traced the edge of the cutting board because we were going to cut it but we were only going to cut half of the cutting board so we marked three and a half inches now this is where we stumbled a bit we had to figure out which sides we were going to cut to make them sandwich so we drew a little line so we know which side to cut next , we used a saw to cut the notches in both cutting boards now that the tricky part was out of the way all we had to do was put the two together to create a perfect little book holder this is great to set up as a book holder of coffee or you could also use when showing a cookbook and I'm so excited how this turned out for only two bucks, textured plates are very trendy right now and Pottery Barn has several options tions so i wanted to create my own option from dollar tree so i grabbed a bowl and also picked up a container of the caulk that they t have in their little home improvement aisle along with paint brushes and like all their tools so i started just pouring almost all of the tube of caulk into the center of my bowl i just took the putty knife and moved it around until i said i got an even coat around the inside of my bowl now this doesn't have to be perfect because our next step we're going to do then i took my spatula and made a little circle in the middle of my bowl and then once i got to where it started to go up the edge of the bowl i just made line indents all the way now the reason why i did this is because im planning on painting and i wanted it to have a bit of texture before i painted it so let it dry completely like 24 hours it might not take that long sometimes when you use a lot of coats like that its better to let it dry for e night so I come back the next day and this is always the fun part for me is choosing the paints and figuring out you know how I'm going to put it all together so I grabbed my vintage effects wash paint and linked it in the description box of several of you told me that it is againavailable on Amazon so I'm excited about it and I'm just going to take a foam brush and lightly brush around the bowl this will just bring out all the details that I just put in and then I'm also going to take that same brush and go to the outside of my bowl because the bowl I picked up was very textured so I wanted to bring out that detail as well now from here I like to take a step back I see you know what I need to add I felt like I needed to add a little bit of gold and maybe another shade brown just to give it more dimension so i took a couple of acrylic paints i had and added them now once i added all those colors i realized i was missing some of that white from the caulk so i went back with my waverly white and i just added a little bit of white so that's what's fun just ha ha have fun with it add colors until you're happy with the final product and here's a glimpse of how this bowl turned out so one of the t Trends I've noticed on high end websites is having candles that are more of a bowl shape and those can be very expensive so I wanted to show you an option how you can recreate that for a lot less so I grabbed one of the bowls from Marble that they have in the regular plate and bowl aisle at Dollar Tree.
I'm also going to need two dollar tree candles. I see them in most stores I go to, so you should definitely be able to find them. I also bought a pack of candle wicks on Amazon. I'll link it below for you, but I know these will last me forever, so to do this task it puts in your pots and pans, so I actually bought a really cheap skillet from Walmart that I'm going to use specifically for this. homework because now i've done this like i think three times and so i want to make sure e i'm not using all my regular trays so i think this tray was less than five bucks and then i'm just going to put the two light the candles and fill it with half water.
Now you will want to let it boil. It will probably take around 20 minutes for all of the candle wax to melt, so wait until the candle wax is completely melted with the marble bowl. I'm going to take those candle wicks and I'm actually going to hot glue them to the bottom of my bowl, now one of them has popped up so I had to play around with it a bit, but that's just going to help. stay in place every time you're pouring the candle wax so it just helps make sure you know you don't have them floating around so it's really hot you want to make sure you have heating pads. all things use tongs so you won't be touching it or getting anywhere near the candle wax so once you have the hot pads and tongs you're just going to pour the candle wax into the container.
I ended up using almost both candles to fill this bowl and then what I like to do to make sure the candle wicks stay where I want them I mean I just take some popsicle sticks and place them on top and then that way they stay in their place while they dry. Now this takes a couple of hours to dry and then from there all you have to do is cut off the tops of the candle wicks and you have a very nice candle to place in your house. I feel like it's been forever since I've made a tray on my channel but when I was walking through the placemats section at dollar tree I saw these white and gray placemats and thought they would be perfect for a tray so I grabbed a mold to pizza, a pie pan, and a pie pan.
I also grabbed, I think, three of the placemats, but I think I only ended up using two and then I also got two of these little gray vases. I started by painting the front and back of the pants with wavy white chalk paint. Now normally I would spray paint them, but it's so cold around here that it's no fun spraying them. paint when it's really cold because then you have to bring everything inside and it's just a th So I decided to paint them with chalk paint now to create a stencil for the base of my pizza pan.
I got some craft paper and just took my fingernail and pressed it around the edge and cut that out to create a pretty stencil. so i took that stencil put it on a placemat now it didn't cover it all the way so i ended up having to cut a bit of an extra piece to make it fit on my tray but i cut around the placemat and cut now to glue this i hot glued it around the edge make sure when you glue them you put hot glue in the center and around the edge so i'm going to press around the pie pan and the pie pan i cut out my pieces and glued them together hot in the bottom of the trays.
From there it was a really simple assembly. I'm going to use hot glue and e6000 if you want it to be super secure with the gray vases in between each of the pans whenever I'm designing a tray I like to have consistent colors so I went with greens and whites and just tried that for gripping things in that kind of color family and I just put them on each of the tiered trays standing back and looking at them until I'm happy with the way it looks what do you think Delaney? Do you think we could do this? out of place Matt we can try we're going to have to find some kind of glue or something to make this stay in place and then maybe spray it on we're going to try it I don't know yeah yeah. i think it might work if we find some kind of spray or something it might as well be a total dud we'll see so i have to tell you this was a complete experiment i took the placemat we picked up and it had a bunch of cups on it honestly you could use anything.
Next I grabbed a rubber band and put it around as the bottom so it was about an inch down from the top. Next, this was kind of an experiment, so I took a small spray bottle of water and mixed it up. with mod podge that i had on hand because i was trying to create a spray adhesive that i could let sit overnight and hopefully harden the piece so it has that fun shape and looks more like an abstract piece i had to put a ton of glue on this i put on the outside i also put on the inside and then i did exactly that, i let it sit completely overnight.
I was impressed when I came back the next day, it really did stay in place now, if I could do this again I would try to make the base a little sturdier, but that was minor. next i probably used three coats of spray paint on the inside and outside with that white color but this is what the piece looks like on my coffee table i have to say i was really impressed when i was walking around the tree of the buck and i found this very cute kindness matters little bag and i thought it would be perfect for a project so i grabbed one of my little hoops i have in my background here you can get them from amazon i will link them below and all i did was super easy i just took the bag and put it through the hoop once i got it to where it was as even as possible so it really framed that circle and then i just squeezed the little ring then went back and cut off the excess in the back and that was it and now i have it displayed on my backdrop and i think it looks great, what are they doing?
Oh don't worry about me, just uh, wouldn't it be awesome if we used these little ones? Have you seen these green pots? I think it would be great if I do as a board if you're redoing a space the millinote app is perfect for having all your inspiration in one place I feel like it's similar to this inspo here where you know you only have pots and a board behind I found these big black chalkboard signs i think it would be perfect so let's try it if it looks good it looks good if you don't know it actually looks great i think it will be great im excited yeah i hope you can find those little florals because they are so cute so i started by removing all the labels from the chalkboard and i have to tell you that was quite a task they were stuck on there very well i got my goo out and really tried to get all the residue off.
Next I've removed the hangers from all the pieces and I'm going to use those popsicle sticks we used earlier and I'm just going to add some hot glue as support pieces between my two signs make sure your signs are fully connected before do this and I'll do it with a third board as well next I'm just going to mix and match the little greenery until I like the way it looks now these aren't super heavy so I was able to get them in there just with hot glue again , make sure you are using the Build Adhesive Glue because if your glue isn't that good it won't hold.
I also added twine as my hanger on this and tied it really tight on one edge and then tied it to the other edge to cover the holes I just grabbed. some of those popsicle sticks and put black marks on a marker and hot glued them to th I went back so you couldn't see the little holes and here's a final look at what it looks like. It would be so cute in your kitchen, but I'm showing you what it looks like in my background, so another cool thing. i like the millinote app because it really helps me stay organized with my projects so i have a list of shots i use every time i'm in the store and this really helps me make sure i get all the images i need. i need the video so i love it and then i also have a list of diys i'm doing so when i'm in the store i can add different projects that we see and want to do and just fine tune things so i love having access to all of that in an app so i always like easy macrame DIY guys so that's exactly what we're going to do so im taking that chalkboard sign we used earlier you need something that's hard you can make your yarn be about the same size and this is so easy to make that I wrapped it maybe about 20-30 times, not really m Afterwards, I'm just going to lay the pieces on top and then I'm going to put some hot glue in the middle.
I'm not even going to tie them. That's all I'm going to do. I will do this all the time. The other side of this took quite a bit of thread, I think I used maybe one and a half of the Dollar Tree spools of thread, so be sure to get two once I have all my thread. I started with some of my nautical rope. I'll link it below for you and just wrap it to cover where the top of that white piece is and I wrapped it maybe five or six times until I thought it looked right this is Total Personal Preference and then I just glued it on hot in the back.
Next, I wanted to make the pieces as even as possible, so I laid them out and gave them a little haircut at the bottom. This doesn't have to be perfect, just do it. the best and here's a look at how this macrame turned out in the party supplies section. I have a great idea for a DIY so I picked up this length. ge bowl i have these two sets of plastic bowls these little mini ones and then i got this mini size two so we're going to put this all together and do a cool DIY for four bucks for the structure below i figured out how i wanted to stack the bowls because i wanted a tri tier tray system and i am going to use the smaller bowls as my dividers and then my larger bowls will be the tri tier ones i am going to use a combination of e6000 and hot glue to hold the bowls in place one because the e6000 will hold it longer and i used the hot glue to make it dry fast so i can go ahead and spray paint it once i have all the bowls in place i will take it outside and apply two coats of white spray paint now to fill this container.
I could really do a combination of anything. I'm going to use some of these natural rocks that I bought at Dollar Tree and then I'm going to fill in as well. with some dollar tree succulents and here's a glimpse of how it turned out well so we have this little glass container that we wanted to do something similar to so I found this glass they don't have any wood pieces on the dollar tree but these stones are very similar in color and kinda succulent let's put it together guys this is going to take you have a minute to make but it looks great sitting down so just add the rocks to the bottom of your glass container remove the bottom of your succulent and then you will add it to your container now i ended up changing my succulent because it wasn't my favorite but here is a glimpse of what the piece looks like.
I feel like it's been forever since I've made a pillow out of a rug on my channel so when I was walking through that section I found this green fabric and thought it would be perfect for a pillow now you could definitely sew that on and I've done it on my channel earlier but I wanted to give you a really simple option so all you need is two rugs that you're going to lay flat with the sides that you like facing out and then the sides that are folded over those are going to be facing in you're going to hot glue on three of the sides you're going to press that firmly downjust to hold it in place now to fill this you could use an already pre-shaped pillow I had some stuffing on hand so I'm just going to add stuffing you can buy this at jo-ann's thrift store there really is a ton of different places you could use stuffing from another pillow once I get it as full as I want it to be I'm just going to hot glue the end on and here's a peek at how my two dollar pillow turned out have you noticed that all the High end stores have a version of these chain links and they are really cute I think they make great decoration but they are very expensive so I thought you knew it would be fun to make these plus anything really trendy like the one where you know it will go out of style and i don't like to spend a lot of money on that for this project i am going to buy a tub of crayola clay and i want to thank you guys for recommending this clay to me it actually works so much better that last project i used clay in and i asked for your recommendations so thank you thank you this tub i bought on amazon i'll link to it below it actually comes with four packs. on it and for this project I used two of the packets so you could probably buy a smaller quantity I thought I would use it for another project and I liked that they were sealed that way they won't go bad so I decided what I needed to do to make these chains is i took just a good amount of clay and started rolling it out then i decided i needed to make it pretty even so i found you know the diameter i wanted it to be.
I figured I wanted each of them to be about an inch wide in diameter and then I used just a little cutting tool that they have at Dollar Tree and cut one edge off and then cut the other edge down to 17 inches. I thought it would make it really even and I wouldn't have to worry about them looking different rent and then I just took the two pieces and put them together and tried to smooth it out so you wouldn't see the edge link but I wasn't really worried about that because most of the the chains have a little link like that so i wasn't worried about it and then i put that piece on top and repeated this for each of my links while i kept making new links i would check the thickness to make sure the thickness was similar to the links I already made because I wanted them to look fairly uniform, then every time I made one and cut it I would wrap it inside one of my other links so they were all connected together now after putting so many links as you want, the next thing you want. what you have to do is shape it to figure out how you want it to look because whatever shape it is that is how it will sit on your coffee table so if you want to raise it raise it now work with it until you are happy with the way it looks so you want to let it dry for 24 hours Now I will say with this clay the longer I let it sit the drier so I would say I didn't paint it until about day two but I have had it for a long time and it has gotten harder over time so the next part is totally your personal preference, i wanted it to be painted white first so it was just a very consistent white color so i went in with wavy white chalk paint and it i painted white now the color wash i decided to do for this piece is i really didn't want it to have that much color but i came i mixed a yellow and red color and i put that on it like it gave me a mustard color so i washed it and it was too much or thick so I went in with water any time you want to thin a paint you want to add in water so I added water and then I took a paper towel and immediately wiped it off so this gave me just a tiny bit of color not really a lot, so i wanted it to have a bit of brown to it, so i used my vintage effects wash and set it down, cleaned it with water the same way and wiped away any excess so in the end it just gave me a little bit of color in this piece, but that was the look I was going for.
If you wanted it to have more of a wood look, you could definitely add more color. The way you wanted, you could even go with gray. Here's a glimpse of what it looks like sitting on my tray. The dollar tree has really cheap things that you can put together and they look great on your bathroom vanity. The first thing I came across were these really cool ones. white tiles on the dollar tree i love their size and they were like ceramic and to me they fit great in a bathroom i didn't like the sayings on them but i thought i could work with them i created a printable which i'll leave for you guys in the box of description and I just put some words that I thought would be great in a bath like relax relax soak I'm going to put the block on top of the words and I'm going to trace around them next I'm just going to cut out the words making sure that I don't there are none of the scribe marks left where I'm cutting and then I'm going to make sure to round the corners that way it's going to fit perfectly on my little tile I'm going to repeat this for the other three words now I recently picked up a new type of mod podge it's a mod water based podge and the instructions say you can put it in the dishwasher so i thought these were going to be items in a bathroom i wanted something that was a little more water resistant a so I'm going to start by putting a layer of mod podge on my tile and then I'm going to put my decal on top of that now you want to let it dry completely before trying to put mod podge on top of the paper so a once it's completely dry i'll put a coat of mod podge on top now i love these black paint pens they have on the dollar tree i'm going to go around the edges of all my signs once everything is dry and just hit it a worn finish i think when its all white like this you need to bring out some detail and i think these are the perfect decor for a bathroom.
