20 Surprising Pokemon Sizes

May 05, 2020
gourry jinx prevents Michael here and Pokémon from having had height and weight data in their Pokedex entries since the Pokémon games started in red and blue, as the 2d sprites gave no indication of the actual size of a Pokémon that the data height and weight were useful to imagine. What these creatures would look like next to you, however, as time has passed, many people have realized that various

sizes

of Pokémon don't make much sense, whether it's being comically small,

surprising

ly large, or scientifically illogical. I thought it would be fun. to compile a list of those cases, so that's what this video is about. 20 Pokémon

sizes

that are completely absurd, by the way.

I should note that I'm going to use the silly imperial units since I'm American and that's what I'm used to. but for those of you enlightened souls who use the metric system, I will include some on-screen conversions whenever I speak an imperial unit out loud, but before we dive into the list, this video is sponsored by amino and I'm sure you'll find it. they have heard. of amino is now the best place to join and participate in communities for any specific interest you can think of, like Pokémon I'm a part of, there's my hero academy, Super Smash Bros, cute cars, guinea pigs and just about anything .

20 surprising pokemon sizes...

You can think of something else, but the most exciting thing about amino is that they just launched their new stories feature where you can watch short video content that is very well thought out and highly edited, like my videos that I make here. I just posted an imino story about five Pokémon that I hope will get evolutions in Pokémon Sword and Shield that I didn't talk about in my recent video on the same topic, so download the free amino using the link in the description below, search for M&J TV in Los Users follow my global profile and see my news.

That story won't be the only one, but now that I've covered it, don't forget to leave a like on the video and let's dive into some crazy Pokémon sizes, starting with Heights Venusaur. Size is listed as 6ft 7, but in the Vamos games he is visibly shorter than the protagonist when he follows them into battle. Now I understand that science varies and come on, but my shiny sword Mina is six foot five and even shorter than this one. the supposed child protagonist and also this Poliwrath who is supposed to be four foot three. Nieto King is often seen as this huge hulking monstrous beast because that's exactly what he looks like, however, his listed height is only four foot seven, the average height of a ten-year-old child, so perhaps Nieto King may seem more impressive to the kids playing it, but for adults like me, that's small, what I think of Kling Klang.

I imagine this large floating mechanical assembly that is just an imposing conglomerate of engineering, but it turns out it's some kind of small Kling Klang measuring only two feet tall, which is a very disappointingly small piece of equipment. Florges is also disappointingly small. I guess I should have seen it coming since his pre-evolutions are extremely small, but I don't know, I guess I just imagined it. Florges is approximately the size of an adult woman, as she appears to be an adult woman, however, Florges is only three feet seven. Lucario is also comically small. I never expected Lucario to be taller than me because basically every time you see him, he's depicted as shorter than me.
He's a trainer though, I didn't realize how small this guy is, he's only 3 foot 11, he's a tiny little puppy with two legs, he's what another undersized fighting type Pokémon is my champion, he's only 5 ft 3, not now I don't want to overshadow my short Kings, but come on guys, he's my champion, he's supposed to be the pinnacle of athletics. I should admire him so much figuratively when it comes to his physique: the extra arms and literally, but I know I'd be looking down on him, he carries me but he's shorter than all the NFL players, that doesn't make any sense, it's a bodybuilder, he should be big, Groudon is also smaller than I think he should be now, Groudon in no way is. a small Pokémon, the listed height of him is 11ft 6 but that doesn't seem big enough to me, he created the earth but he is shorter than the annoying Nadel.
I don't know, I feel like he should be closer to a kaiju-sized creature, not something like that. that could really fit here in my office now let's talk about some Pokémon that are

surprising

ly big. Haunter, for example, is 5 foot 3 now and the same height as my champion, so he doesn't look too crazy at first, but Hunter is wider than he is. tall making it huge, also two more fun facts about Hunter's size, one he is taller than Gengar and secondly he is tied with gas for the lightest Pokémon out of all the ones that come and only weighs 0.2 pounds , Dunsparce is 4 foot 11 now.
Of course, that doesn't mean it would look like that next to me, it has become very clear over the years that serpentine Pokémon are measured from head to tail and Dunsparce counts a serpentine since it is based on a snake, however , it's still pretty big like you. I could stand on Dunsparce and surf it assuming it could float. I've always pictured Dunsparce as this little worm, but no, it's a big guy because it's another big serpentine Pokémon, it should at least be considered serpentine because of its height. He's listed as 5 foot 11, just an inch shorter than me now if he were stretched from head to tail next to me, yes I see how that would make sense, but if he's not considered serpentine, no, no, there's no way that it is not considered. have a snake body oh my god oh my god that means next to me it would look like this that's horrible jealous isn't it a so called seven foot three that's huge and horrible imagine this giant Pringles face looking at you ready to kill you no, thanks Hariyama, although he's even taller than Jellison, he's seven foot seven considering how wide Hariyama is, that's fair and he's huge, he takes up all the damn space he's bigger than Snorlax.
Another surprisingly large serpentine Pokémon is Seviper, whose length is listed as eight foot ten. Now I think the reason I wanted to include it here is because I have been conditioned to think that Seviper is very small, as he always appears so tiny in Pokémon Go, yet in the anime he is shown with a head as big as this entire one. girl, he's wildly inconsistent and I have no idea what House Big Seviper is supposed to be from, he's a staggering twelve foot ten, just think how big he is. At your side, you would have to crane your neck all the way up to be able to look him in the eyes.
I remember reading Del Mises's height not long after the Sun and Moon rose and being absolutely floored, but then I learned that anchors can actually be really incredibly large, so it makes sense, but it's still really amazing and the final Pokémon whose height would center around Yamato for the uninitiated, we pronounce Yveltal as novel and Arceus as our cousin here on this channel if you don't know. Why watch Pokémon talk about a novel? The height is amazing: 19 feet tall. Now some people believe that Pokémon with large wings should be measured from tip to tip.
What is its size? I'm not really a fan of that idea though, as it gets very confusing as to which one. Pokémon whose wingspan you measure and whose height you measure as alternate crows. Do you measure his wingspan or do you measure him from his foot to his head? You could go either way, so I think you should follow the most logical method, which is. From a foot to head anyway, if we measure Yamato the way I personally think we should, from the tip of his tail to the top of his head, which is huge, which is the biggest bird in the entire world.
Pokémon world, holy shit, now five Pokémon-centric entries, wait. They were a little offended that I focused so much on their weight, but it had to be done for scientific reasons before doing so, although I just wanted to share a quick fun fact: a fact about Pokémon size that's not really surprising or absurd, so I do not understand. place on this list, but I still wanted to mention it because I think it's funny and that is that since just for the weakling waste point it weighs 7 pounds and the school for the weaklings weighs 170 3.3 pounds if you divide 170 3.3 by 0.7, that means there are approximately 248 only for undecided in a school for undecided Wailord weighs much less than it should it is the largest Pokémon that exists it only weighs 877 pounds to contextualize how stupidly light humpback whales are that they can be approximately the same length as Wailord weighs 66,000 pounds in a very old video I made on this channel.
I did some calculations on Wailord and estimated that since it is so light but so large, the buoyant force of the air on Wailord that was in our atmosphere would cause its effective weight to drop to only 265 pounds, a couple of people could lift it and there are people who weigh more than that. Magnemite weighs 13.2 pounds, but that is not the focus of this entry, the focus is Magneton and the Pokedex specifically states in multiple different games that Magneton is three links of Magnemite put together, therefore one would expect Magneton to weigh thirty-nine point. six pounds, three times more than Magnemite, right, haha, wrong.
Magneton weighs one hundred and thirty-two point three pounds, which is ten times more than a Magnemite, what bird mite? It's a three-foot iceberg that weighs 219 pounds at first, that may seem like a lot, but it's actually much lighter than it should be. I did the math and an ice cube that sites are as long as birds is three feet high. three should expect over 2,000 pounds water is heavy guys even if you had to cut it by half to make it more accurate for bird mites the shape is more pyramidal that still weighs a thousand pounds which is a lot more than what the birds could weigh.
Something similar is true for most. Rock Pokémon weigh much less than they should. An example is onyx, it weighs 463 pounds, which is stupid light. A cubic foot of sandstone weighs one hundred and fifty pounds and based on the size of the onyx I'm pretty sure it's made up of over three cubic feet of rock and finally cosmo 'm it's absurdly dense it's linked to selling a steel ax For the heaviest Pokémon in existence, it weighs two thousand two hundred four point four pounds, however, while Sallah Steel is a large metal rocket, cosmo It is only four inches tall if you estimate the volume of the cosmo um as a sphere with a radius of two inches, which means its density is more than 1,800 grams per cubic centimeter for context of how tremendously dense the densest metal on Earth is: it only weighs 22 grams. per cubic centimeter the core of the Sun weighs only one hundred and fifty grams per cubic centimeter more than 1,800 for a small Pokémon, so there we have it, that was twenty absurd and shocking Pokémon sizes.
