Why Spider-Man: Homecoming is the Best MCU Movie

Jun 10, 2021
How is it possible that in Homecoming the

spider

suit gives Peter Parker a bunch of features that Peter doesn't know about because he created the web shooters so it doesn't make any sense that he doesn't know what features the Avengers have ? the new base in Civil War, so how come Spider-Man hasn't heard of it yet? Hmm, how come in Civil War, Peter says that Empire Strikes Back is a really old

movie

and he doesn't actually seem that familiar with it? but he now he's like a mega Star Wars fan, so, sure, you know, he could sit here and nitpick all day.

I could force myself to find reasons to complain and I went into this

movie

not expecting to enjoy it as much, but what can happen? I say Homecoming is the

best

superhero movie I've seen in a long time, not only that, but it's also the

best

teen comedy movie I've seen in a long time. Listen, I know school sucks, yeah, it's the widow, uh, yeah, yeah. I think we can all agree that sometimes the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies really feel like, tell me, you know what I mean, not in a good way, they just feel really predictable, it feels like They were all the same movie.

More Interesting Facts About,

why spider man homecoming is the best mcu movie...

I can't remember the last time I watched a superhero movie and then said, "Oh boy, I can't wait to see the next one." I usually don't care much about watching these movies. It has become part of the annual routine at this point. period, it was Spider-Man's

homecoming

. I was having a lot of fun. In fact, I left the theater wanting more. I really didn't think I'd say that. I'm going to talk about why this movie worked so well, even though this movie didn't. It's not perfect, I'm still struggling to find things I really didn't like. The movie is really hilarious throughout the opening sequence, we see Peter recording everything that happened in Civil War on his iPhone and narrating things like a vlogger listens to the craziest thing, you have the right, private as an American, I stole the shield and gave it to him I threw in, oh you think I did that first of all, this scene is adorable and helps sell people on Tom Holland if they don't do it anymore.

I don't love it Secondly, it's a clever way to show the events of the previous movie that a lot of people might have skipped because it sucks, the civil war sucks right? For me, there are a lot of Marvel movies now and sometimes it's necessary. a way to refresh the audience and this works quite well now. The third thing this does well is it shows you that this movie is going to be fun and funny in a human way. The jokey writing quality of the Avengers is not. In this movie, this is real humor, not people making snarky comments, most of the jokes are self-deprecating or relatable.

We see Peter making mistakes in ways that are funny, but not silly. Hey, could you do me a favor? Batman's voice to interrogate people in this movie because he doesn't know how to interrogate people, yeah, and that's a lot of fun. Peters is funny, but he's not the punchline of the movie. This is important so that your character really feels like a person we would know. in real life, unlike Tony Stark or any of the other guys who say something clever and witty and it's supposed to make us laugh but we don't really relate to them in any way with the little jokes we were into accustomed because The Avengers movies feel more like little precise moments that are put in the movie to make us laugh so that things don't get too dark or boring and sure there are movies that don't even have these little jokes and their effects They feel pretty. strongly, but there's a reason people are starting to complain about this kind of writing because it really gets old, you can't hear the same kind of jokes for 20 movies, even when Tony Stark appears in this movie, it plays into his nature joker.
He's actually a This is the first Marvel movie I've ever seen where I thought Tony Stark is a saint and I would never want to hang out with him. I don't have to be a fan of Tony Stark in this movie. the characters feel like real people Flash Thompson is a bully, but he's on the science team with Peter and he's actually not that cool himself, he's more popular than him. Peter and his loser friends aren't just nerds who get beaten up and thrown around. Lockers are really unpopular, they're the kind of people who just get ignored, the kind of people you walk past and don't really think about now when this movie was announced it was rumored to take place in high places.
In school, it would be about Peter when he was a kid and I had a moment where I was honestly really worried about what I like to call hashtag Yolo riding, you know what I mean, dialogue written by older men who don't understand how children really talk. A great example of this is seen on CW shows like Riverdale, where all the actors are like 30 years old and have the worst lines of dialogue in this era of Netflix and beauty. Do people really want to watch a movie in a car like The Godfather? of independent cinema Quentin Tarantino likes to say that I'm practicing on my knees in HIPAA but this place is strictly closed.
I was really worried that this movie would be like that too, but then I saw what the writing team was like, oh you know, nothing special except for it's the freaks and geeks type, yeah, these guys are younger, maybe they know a little better how things work, the writing also breaks the monotony of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a movie with constant reminders about the Avengers and thus managed to feel like For my part, it almost didn't feel like a Marvel movie and just the fact that that its tone was completely different from the others, I don't know, I wish I could continue talking about the writing where I really liked the jokes because I really like good comedy and I especially liked seeing comedy as a central element in a movie summer action, but I can't talk about jokes all the time because that's not the only reason this movie is good.
I think jokes can definitely fool people. to think that a mediocre movie is actually a good movie, but there's a lot more to a movie than just good jokes. Tone is also important in a superhero movie. If the tone is wrong, the entire film suffers for it. This movie has a pretty happy tone. tone, but we know it can become real if it really has to, but the one thing I loved was that even when the tone became very dark it didn't mean that people had to die. Now name a superhero movie from the latest one that didn't.
I don't know ten twenty thirty forever years in all of them and I mean in all of them they will have a bunch of people dying that's how it is, I get it, it's just collateral damage, that happens in action movies, well what if you I would say that no one has to die for a superhero movie to be good. This film features a recounted death and even that is passed off as a joke. You might not think much about this at first, but it helps the overall tone of the film. Wouldn't that have sucked? If during the Washington Monument scene one of the children had died after seeing the kind of person the vulture is after learning that he is just a father who wants to take care of his family, wouldn't it be horrible if he just died in the battle this is actually very important in explaining why this movie works so well this is really an action movie it's a summer comedy movie where Spider-man beats up people it's a movie driven by comedic performances now talking about performances everyone in this movie is pretty shitty Good job Michael Keaton is a good actor.
I like that he's actually getting work again because Birdman was so amazing. I also like that he's not an evil villain with a twirling mustache, he feels like a real guy. A lucky independent contractor would take action. I love it in the last fight. He doesn't activate kill mode on his glider and tries to kill Peter at the last second because that's not really what he wants to do, but you can't. talk about all these writings and all these characters without talking about Tom Holland as Peter Parker, if you didn't already love him in Civil War but you should because he's the only good thing in that movie, then you're sure to love him.
Now because he's perfect as Spider-Man and everyone is going to say it, everyone is already saying it, but it's true that he feels like the lovable idiot that Spider-Man is supposed to be. The problem with Andrew Garfield is that he is too cool. Him and I, it's not like he's a kid who gets bullied, he's a kid who definitely gets picked on in high school, I know that kid is a tough guy, he skateboards, he's a cool kid, we just have to see. why being a jerk is really important to Peter Parker. In the ATM scene near the beginning of the movie with the masked bugs there's a little moment where he takes a second to think about the joke he's going to tell before he confronts them, he leans against the wall, tries to look cool and he realizes that that's not going to work, there are a lot of little moments like that where he's not really sure how he should act as a superhero.
Many superhero origin movies have the hero make a few mistakes at the beginning, usually for comedic effect, but then we're pretty competent until the end of the movie, but this movie is full of Peter being a big jerk and ruining everything, not in a way that would be really frustrating to watch, but in a way that is quite understandable in a You realize that you need to have a strong will and drive. himself beyond his limits and in the comics you see Peter Parker as a no-give-up kind of guy on his Wikipedia page, not giving up literally appears as one of his superpowers in the

homecoming

scene near the movie's ending.
I see that even though Peter can just ignore the vulture and live a normal life in high school and even the girl he wanted to date throughout the entire movie, he knows that that's not right, he knows that even though that it doesn't. he has the equipment or the skill to win this fight, he's going to do it anyway and this leads to my personal favorite scene in the entire movie. I've been waiting for years and a lot of other Spider-Man fans have been waiting. seeing one of his most iconic moments recreated on screen, not the death of Gwen Stacy, not taking off the poison suit in the bell tower, the moment I'm talking about is from the incredible Spider-Man number 33 and in it we have Spider-Man fighting with Doc Ock. for a serum that will save Aunt May from a terrible illness during the fight.
Peter gets crushed under the roof and all these support structures collapse and all this equipment falls on him and he even says that all of this weighs more than a train weighs. determination and sheer force of will, he manages to shake it all off. This is issue 33. Spiderman hasn't even been around that long, but this is the first time we really get to see how strong he is. he has to be and that scene is actually in this movie and it's everything I ever wanted him to be after getting crushed by the ceiling. Peters asking for help because until now when he's been in a tough situation he's had someone there to help him, but in this movie Peter Parker doesn't push the rubble to save Aunt May, he pushes it to save himself because this is a movie about Spider-Man learning to get by without anyone helping him by just doing it himself because sometimes no one else does it. "I'll be there, but Spider-Man, this is exactly how it should be done, this makes you feel good, this superhero movie makes you feel good now.
I usually have a hard time recommending superhero movies to people because they're not for everyone and Rarely are very good but people love Spider-Man and this movie is worth loving and it's been a while but we have another Spider-Man movie that's actually pretty good could I even say amazing Hey dad, is this a pretty good movie? Do you know Donny? Maaloula yogini Kirito Hikari Hadi do you know me?
