WESTWORLD Season 2 TIMELINE EXPLAINED (Full Chronology!)

2 of Westworld on HBO is over and now we finally know what happens. The remaining question is when it will happen and why. For Loras, I covered all the big questions that arise from the ending and the post-credits scene. in my Indian explainer video, but here I'm going to break down the entire Westworld

and of course a spoiler warning if you haven't seen all of season 2, so the most important thing is What I understand about season 2 is that it is divided into two main timelines from Bernard's point of view, separated by two weeks.

The timeline shows Bernard immediately after the Dolores massacre in the della Scala timeline. Timeline B shows Bernard two weeks later with jumbled memories joining the timeline. Dello's Security Team finale episode catches up with the events of timeline A up to the point where timeline B begins and explains exactly when each part of the story fits in, but first let's start from the beginning of everything and let's connect all the new things from season 2. into the overall Westworld timeline, so after season 1, a video on the West-World website briefly showed the current year of the show like 2052, now that date was later removed, but to keep track of all this, let's use that date as an anchor. period, season 1 established a three-year period leading up to Westworld during which Ford and Arnold built up the OG hosts, including Dolores.

During this time, Arnold held secret sessions with Dolores, which resulted in him ordering Dolores to kill him. Season 2 revisits this Native American moment. Perspective with a key chedda to find the consequences of this. After this, his people were reassigned from a peaceful tribe to the ghost nation of violence. Now, sometime after Arnold's death, Ford, with the help of Dolores, attempted to use the data collected on Arnold to construct a new version of him that resulted. in Bernard now I assume this would be at least a generation later, perhaps around the year 2040, when all the employees who had worked with Arnold were gone and no one would recognize Bernard's resemblance to the founder of the park, the park of the western world was officially opened to the public.

A few years after Arnold's death and shortly after its opening, a young William first visited the park with Logan around the year 2022, so all of the Season 1 stories involving Williams' trip with Logan and Dolores and William's dark turn happened at that time, Season 2 also shows a key The Cheetah finds Logan shortly after William abandoned him. Season 2 also completes Williams' rise at Dell O's company, shortly after his first visit, perhaps around 2023, bringing his boss James Dell O's to the park and introducing him to his true value as a form of secretly. collects psychological data on human guests.

Delos approves this plan and Williams joins the family, marrying James' daughter Juliet, and conceiving a child with her sometime in the years after James Delos is diagnosed with a terminal illness and has an ongoing fight. with his son. Logan, which we saw in the final episode around 2027, Delos has a retirement party, we now know it was this year because it was a few years after Williams' daughter was born, he seems to have three or four in the scene and yes, we can See that. Meanwhile, Delos is ill, William has begun fidelity experiments with an AI clone of Delos that is quite flawed at first sometime in the years after this, the real James Delos dies of his illness in the same year that his wife dies of a stroke and his son Logan dies. from a drug overdose, meanwhile, William repeatedly visits the park trying to find meaning through a relationship with Dolores, which could be something we see in his scenes throughout the first season, but William eventually realizes He gives up and finds Dolores alone in the basement and he says no.

I'm breaking up with you and he reveals some of the first constructions of the forge and at that moment Akita's is found by Park Tech, who are surprised to learn that he has been alive for 10 years without dying once here, Akita decides to start spreading the truth. he learned about the park's secrets by hiding in the maze symbol under the scallops, okay, seven years after Delos' death, William reunites with Dallas's AI clone and this host version is a little less buggy this time and it is the first time we see this host version. learned that his real self is dead, so now we move forward, season 2 also shows us the suicide of Williams' wife, Juliet, just before returning to the park as an old man, as he is in season 1, little after this suicide.

William visits the Delos AI clone. He tortures the old robot one last time with details of Juliet's suicide and Logan's overdose and lets him degrade. This leads to Williams' dark murder spree that we see in season 1 terrorizing Maeve when he was a farmer and her daughter and his new interest in The Labyrinth and his journey with Lawrence and Teddy and his meeting with Dolores reminds all of those things. fun now, everything that took place in the current 2052 along with the other events of the first season, Maeve's awakening with Felix and Sylvester and Strama's awakening with LC. and Stubbs and Charlotte Teresa and Lea and, of course, Medellín from old Ford Medellín which brings us to the main events: the second season takes place over the course of two weeks and begins immediately after Dolores kills Ford in the massacre that continued at the gala in Bernard's timeline and he escapes with Charlotte but they separate and Bernard ends up with Elsie together.

These two learned that the park is collecting data on human guests while Dolores goes on her own deadly campaign with Teddy Angela and the other soldiers to get Abernathy before Charlotte does, Maeve, Hector Armitage leaves Felix's Wester and ends up in the Shogun world and Maeve discovers that she can control other hosts non-verbally and all of these events occur over the course of the first week. Several threads actually converge in episode 6 when the train. that Dolores and Teddy are crashing into the Mesa facility while all this is going on. William continues in what he perceives as a new Ford game.

This eventually leads him to meet his daughter Emily, who escaped from Raj William, who is losing control. The season ends with him killing her daughter thinking she is a host, while Team Dolores overwhelms Team Charlotte. Dolores walks away with the encryption key from Abernathy's head and then races towards the forge where the virtual Eden awaits the hosts, but Dolores sees this as another false promise and tries to erase it, but Bernard shoots her before she can. can and then the forge floods and Charlotte shoots. Even Bernard replaces Charlotte with a host version of her with Dolores sheltering her and then scrambles her memory and leaves her on the beach now again. that happened over two weeks and this brings us up to date with Bernard's second season B timeline in which the confused Bernard now joins the del security team as they piece together what happened and their investigation leads to the forge where Charlotte/Dolores activates and then she ends up escaping the park now, sometime after this, the final scene of the episode shows us Charlotte Dolores and Bernard back in their own host bodies outside the park in the real world, in what which looks like Bernard's old house, they are now planning their next one. movements and, of course, the post-credits scene in the distant future that shows a host version of William undergoing a loyalty test performed by a host version of her daughter in the ruins of the forge.
