I'm talking of course about Ford and Arnold, we know that Ford was a troubled young man who found solace in his alcoholic father within the pages of In a Storybook, it's not quite clear when he and Arnold first met. , but we know that Arnold had a son and a wife whom he loved very much. They started something called the Argos initiative and spent countless months building the hosts together in a park. They created the first one. Host generation Dolores being the farmer's daughter and Old Bill the town drinker, they had a handful of engineers working for them, but Arnold mostly kept to himself, an introvert who enjoyed time with the hosts more than other members. of his team, that was true.

the complete westworld story season one two...

With the exception of a dear old friend, Ford, they worked long nights and respected each other greatly. They spent years together as senior partners in a tireless enterprise that probably seemed like it would never come to fruition as the project progressed and the host began to pass the Turing Test, Arnold. He began to dominate the minds of his creations, gifting his partner an old family home to remind her of his childhood, meaning the two knew each other quite intimately. Ford left out, of course, the details of his father's anger, but included the companionship he felt for his dogs.

Jacque Arnold built this up for him, but soon Arnold's kind heart would be challenged and his son would become ill with something he didn't. He could help an engineer with a problem that couldn't be solved, he refocused on his work and used this helplessness he felt to document the emotions as thoroughly as possible and put everything he had into bringing these hosts to life. At first he wanted them to be as real as pasta because that was his and Ford's mission, but in this era. They were also running out of funds and of course his son was dying.

He also realized that he may have created something more than a simple imitation of life, this makes him favor Dolores, perhaps seeing her as a kind of daughter to him and also prevents her from being part of the first impressions made with Logan, They set up these negotiations with Delos, which at the time was just a company that had the money they wanted, and they ran the meetings entirely through hosts just to demonstrate the effectiveness of their product. and it works Angela and Nikita to leave the impression that Logan invested in the park on behalf of his father and it is not known exactly how much, but his father was not happy about it soon, however, Arnold's son would pass away and then he would isolate himself.
Even more so at his job, this causes a rift between him and his wife, who sees this as him running away and not dealing with the problem, and ultimately leads to them getting divorced. He saw parts of himself in the hosts and parts of his late son Charlie. He believed that the hosts could be alive or very close to him and specifically Dolores, so he created the labyrinth and asked her to test this theory of consciousness. After Arnold watched Dolores perform the test, he became convinced that she was alive and should not be subjected to what the people inside the park would do to her if the park ever opened.
He heads straight to Ford because he doesn't want to open the park. , but Ford was aware of his affinity for Dolores over the years and thought that the loss of Charlie was making him think irrationally as he looked at things. in the hosts who were not really there and finally rejects the requests of his partners, the money men were already involved and Ford had dreamed of opening this park all his life. He thinks maybe he could be talking about the loneliness in his life, the helplessness that he felt. As a child in his father's world would no longer exist, he would create his own and this stubbornness eventually leads to Arnold's death.
He needs to take drastic measures to prove that the hosts were really alive. He lost his son, his wife and went crazy. trying to create life again only to realize that no one was listening and only to realize that his new child Dolores would one day be subjected to the worst that humanity has to offer his companion and potentially only friend in the world, he thought. that he was crazy, the only human being. The friend he had left behind thought he had lost his way and Arnold was defeated, exhausted by a life that dealt him blow after blow.
He needed a way to prove that the hosts were alive or shut down the project permanently to avoid torture. Of his creations three years after they began, Arnold ordered the massacre of all the hosts in the park and the execution of himself just for wanting to be with his son again. Of course, it's not enough to close the park and Ford would cover everything. What made Arnold's memory disappear

complete

ly erased from the history of West Berlin, what Ford didn't know is that Arnold wasn't really wrong, he created the path to consciousness, he just didn't take into account one thing: the moment when that Akita at that time was reused for the peaceful world.
Native American story and he stumbled upon the scene, he found the labyrinth and this was the first step in his own journey towards consciousness. He would begin to draw this, he became obsessed before his love was torn from her life and his story because it was too boring. The Ghost Nation was invented to liven things up a bit and the park opens up to the world. Approximately four years pass from the opening of the park until Logan brings William for the first time, we know that he and his sister had gone before and that she already wrote a good amount of cowboys and with that we also know that at this point William and Juliette They are engaged now Logan, the son of a ruthlessly successful businessman, had probably worked very little in his life, but William, on the other hand, is not exactly unknown about William's childhood.
Still, but he worked his way up the corporate ladder to upper middle management, becoming executive vice president, and based on his later arguments, Logan believes that he would have courted his sister strictly for his personal advancement in the company, so somehow it develops like that. The underdog story that William was built from essentially nothing is not very clear and is perhaps left to the eye of the beholder because his trip to the Western world for the first time and my opinion shows that William is this insecure person who you know dragged and put in places. that he doesn't want to be, while Logan is in every way his superior and they both understand this power dynamic and the proverbial pecking order.
Logan takes William to the park to make him realize the joy this place could bring him because his father just doesn't see it, probably hoping to convince his future brother-in-law to connect with him so that when the time comes they go to James Dallas can make a better case and I think that's at least the plan. At the beginning of this, but like in all stories, a girl appears, Delores, who was following Arnold's maze and became self-aware and what William saw in her was genuine, she was not like the other hosts, she is the same kind of effect when you go to the strip club for the first time and meet Stephanie, a single mother who is trying to make her way in life and pay for her children's college tuition and the printer in her home just broke and now she has I have to get a new one by Monday or it doesn't matter all that.
What I'm saying is that he really didn't have a frame of reference going into this. Her first trip to her park would make him fall in love with her. His journey would have you believe there is something bigger than just a robot, but ignorant Logans would have it. He sees the truth of this place whether he likes it or not, so during this trip things go wrong, Logan captures Dolores and William, cuts her open, exposing her host body to her and makes him realize what he He is watching. He looks like he is defeated and still tied to this.
The Dolores chair manages to escape and William manipulates Logan into releasing him later that day, claiming that he understood that she was not really alive. The next morning, Logan wakes up to find that all the hosts around him have been killed and William is reclaiming his position in the pecking order, holding a knife to Logan's throat and telling him that they are going to find Dolores and that He has no choice in the matter. This search would ultimately be in vain because Dolores was left for dead by the Confederates. has already been erased and ready to begin her cycle William becomes the man in black as he searches for her, a ruthless person who some might argue was the real William the next time he sees Dolores, she will be back in Sweetwater dropping your can for someone else. and he realizes that maybe Logan was right, but ultimately that didn't matter, what mattered is that this place allowed him to be this person, a liberating experience like no other and he knew the value of this and Logan didn't.
He left the Western world and sent. Logan, outside the park where he was found by a cajeta, goes to James Delos and finally usurps Logan's status and position in the real world. He makes sure his future father-in-law trusts him over his volatile son. and it works, then he convinces James to invest more in Westworld. He presents this plan for collecting data from guests, understanding the value of this resource and the market research that could be gained by collecting data from the most intimate and liberating moments in someone's life. about people who would never know they were being watched and this would later become known as the forge.
He marries Juliet and becomes the newest member of the Delos family until he and Juliet have Emily, James de Luces' first granddaughter, further cementing her position as his heir. of the James Delos Empire sometime around this time James Delos would become ill with an unknown illness that was taken away from his research funds 15 years earlier, it is not clear but most signs point perhaps to lung cancer, it is at some point between now and five years after the idea forged pivots from its original purpose it would still be the ultimate human data storage facility here in the park, but it would also be responsible for attempting to map the human mind with this data and then graft it onto a host body .
James Delos is retiring from his company due to complications with this illness he is fighting and he understood that his time was fading quickly, he is heavily dependent on his new son-in-law to save him and take his consciousness to another body. functional. William sends him to an observation center in California to begin the process of transferring a human mind into a host, but he eventually succumbs to this disease. However, they figured out how to map the human mind and were less effective at placing it in a host body. Logan, always the black sheep of the family.
Because of William's actions, he had tried everything possible to make his family see the villainy that William truly was. He tried desperately to convince his sister and when that failed, he did the same with his niece only to be scorned as the drug addict. The guy who didn't know any better, Logan would die six months after his last conversation with his father and from a drug overdose, he was completely depressed. I have to imagine how lonely William's disgraced son, brother, uncle and all that started because he must have been, he died alone believing that Delos would be the beginning of the end of humanity and, based on what we have seen so far, probably in this moment Logan and James Delos are dead, but William keeps his end of the deal and tries to get it.
James meets him again at a secret outpost in the Western world and discovers that he was not ready yet, that they were making little progress, because two knew this was happening and believed that a human mind could never be successfully mapped onto a host body. after. Witnessing the failed attempts with James Delos, he saw that his mind in the forge was stable, he simply could not place himself in a host body. It was then that he began using the crib to build Bernard a host that would be built from memories of his best moments. friend and Dolores' memories of working countless hours together when the park was being developed, she knew that Arnold would never be reborn, but that a host body built in his image would be as close to reviving his body as humanly possible with the crib and the of Dolores.
With the ability to remember hundreds of interactions over all those years, she took him through simulation after simulation until Bernard was born, a near-perfect imitation of Arnold who wouldn't commit suicide after a number of years.unknown of time developing it here for two impressions. Bernard's body, the For the first time, about 20 years before the current story, a couple more years pass and William makes another trip to James Delos only to discover that minor progress has been made and ultimately a failure in his name, seven years after his death, little has changed and the project. It's not working as expected, but time passes and the company decides to send another person to the park to prevent four from interfering with a project.
Now it's not fully explained why, but Ford senses that a coup is coming and about a year before William returns to the Park and the events of season 1 Ford notices a key cheetah traveling through the maze all these years later with the obsessive purpose of finding a way out of this world that does not belong to them. He realizes that this old host with time and suffering was truly alive, he realized Arnold's mistake, identified his mistake and understood what had to happen to truly finish his best friend's dream, just when his dream was to build this park and that was coming to an end, he began to take steps to include in his programming the referee the code that would allow them to remember that eventually he would introduce the bicameral mind.
Ford understood that the year of his life was ending and that his life would soon be stripped from him that the work of his life would be complete and fade away. in the history books with which the remaining humans or hosts would take note of his existence, he uses the forge against William and gives him the guest profile of the Western world that showed all the screwed up things William was, the data that shows who he is really. and it scared him it offended him it bothered him that a machine judged him inferior in some way when in the real world he is a titan of industry Ford gives him this profile and Juliet discovers it later in her worries about the person she married.
All those years ago were right, she married a monster who couldn't help her father, who drove her brother to suicide and she finally felt alone, probably full of remorse for not listening to Logan and worried that at any moment he did it. she fits the real him, she took her own life to escape leaving the profile in a box for his daughter to find later. Now it can be argued that Ford could have planned that, knowing that you know everything he knows, knowing what needed to be done to ensure Parkes' self-destruction as efficiently as possible, allowing the hosts their only chance at freedom, but no one could be sure.
I think it's cool to think of him like you know the omniscient God in this world that you know could have done that or maybe his death was just an unfortunate side effect. William, heartbroken over the death of his wife, confronts his daughter who is withdrawing from her life because she directly blamed him for her mother's death, and then returns to the park to watch. If he really was the man everyone thought he was, after all, he was very successful in the real world, he founded foundations that helped other people and he was a self-proclaimed philanthropist.
He needed to see if he was the man he could kill indiscriminately and not. He feels remorse like all humans, he probably considers himself the good guy, so imagine when a machine tells you otherwise and tells you that you were less than and that your wife was so afraid of you that she commits suicide to escape. He was bothered by this mark of himself and makes one last stop to see James Delos before beginning his final journey, telling him that his son had died and that his daughter had committed suicide and leaves without rebuilding him, he is left in a state maddening of this pain, we have a good number. of signs that point to William's final journey being like his own Death March, he himself admits that he has no intention of leaving this place and then looks for a game that has a real risk, something where he could die, he goes to Mave and her tests showed that she was able to kill a mother and daughter without much thought, but it also made her see that spark of life that she once saw in Dolores.
He truly believed, if only for a second, that she was alive, but so did he. he realized that they really couldn't defend themselves and made this test seem empty. It's also during this encounter that she finds the labyrinth embedded in the ground by a key cheetah who was trying to get Maeve to start this journey herself, so she finds the labyrinth and it's not exactly talked about, but this kind of scratches this itch. for a deeper game where Arnold was into something Ford wasn't and which kicks off the Man in Black story in season 1 with the idea that he's at this late stage and needs a deeper purpose. in the life that eventually created his obsession out of necessity, he has some information about Arnold, such as his name, but it is not exactly clear when he learned this additional information or when he links the labyrinth to something deeper through Arnold, however, it is a broken man. with nothing and has one last thing to do in Westworld the maze to which he returns Dolores takes it from Teddy and enters the barn doing what she sees fit to get more information from the oldest host in the park finds something between now and the next day because He then goes to Kisi and finds the labyrinth tattooed on his scalp.
The next morning, Dolores wakes up to find her father looking at a photo that she cannot understand. She is Williams' wife, Juliet, who left many years ago. She tries to warn Dolores. telling him to leave this place and whispering to him that these violent pleasures have violent ends, this was the phrase Arnold used to get him painfully killed and it seems that now Ford is using it to begin this journey towards consciousness, a kind of poetic justice in the one who rides city, but Hector's attack on the butterfly is interrupted, she wakes up the next day ready to leave, but now this code has activated and begins to confuse the timelines showing us how the hosts remember things as perfect jumps in time instead of like a human where we can only remember fragments of a given moment.
She says the phrase to Maeve and this begins her journey to consciousness, except she has a helping hand because Ford programs Maeve so that she wakes up so she can escape to the real world later. I think she could. It can also be argued and I intend to argue that Ford designed Maeve's path to consciousness in such a way that she was to see the good side of humanity through the humans who helped her along the way because the next thing Ford does is programming the white side. narrative in Deloris, that is, a host who would do whatever it takes to free the hosts and a host who would balance that chaos, one who truly saw the beauty in this world shortly after this Ford secretly instructed Bernard to uploading his consciousness into In the Cradle, of course, then erases Bernard's memory of this around the same time that Charlotte and Lee are working to get the decryption key out of the park's forge using Peter Abernathy.
The company fears that Ford will destroy all of his toys when he finds out. about his plan to knock it out of the park, but as we know, he already knew and had a plan completely in place at this point. Lee Sizemore begins programming a character who would pass for human enough to knock it out of the park, and Elsie finds the lumberjack. The hosts are used to obtain data from the park as they begin their journey in search of answers in season 1. Some of the hosts are not taking the daydreaming very well and Teresa and Charlotte tried to blame Bernard Ford for the problems with this code. this and instructs Bernard to kill Teresa.
He also regains control of Charlotte by blaming the woodcutter on Teresa, forcing her to reinstate Bernard at this time. Elsie is also getting too close for Ford's comfort and he has Bernard kidnap Elsie and leave her in this cave. which also serves as a secret entrance to one of the Delos outposts. This is done on one of his many off-screen trips to the forge where we learned he had been going to design the valley beyond. Ford realized that Akita deserved freedom just like the other hosts did, but he knew that Akita and the others didn't really fit into his plan, they wouldn't be as successful in getting out of the park as, say, Maeve or Dolores, but they deserved it. freedom anyway, so he had Bernard to program the valley beyond into a virtual world where they could exist free of all threats, be whatever they wanted to be while all that was happening behind the scenes.
William searches the park for signs of this maze and comes to the story of Wyatts, the only character. He hadn't met in all those years and you know, he starts to meet more and more characters that he doesn't know, making him believe that he is in the labyrinth and that he is currently taking paths that will take him to the center, but as he we know. It turns out that Dolores is Wyatt's and the labyrinth is not for humans after he discovers this, Dolores kicks his ass and now remembers who she is, but she loses the overall battle, then Teddy saves her and they continue the journey.
In tonight's narrative for investors, a façade while the real journey into the night narrative is about to begin, Ford meets with Bernard and Dolores to say goodbye to these beings with whom he has spent so much time making clear what he Dolores must do if she wishes. being free from this cage, but making it clear that it is completely her choice not programmed by Ford. Maeve at this time rebuilt her body with the help of Felix and Sylvester and recruited other hosts and even revived Bernard in the process by preparing his headshot in season 1 that caused the mark on his forehead, he was only a few minutes away. to escape to the real world, however, just as Dolores made the decision to kill Ford, Maeve made the decision not to leave the park, she would return for her daughter, which even if it was a manifested part of her story, it was still her story and still loved that boy.
Charlotte's plan to get the data out of the park fails once Lise Sizemore discovers that all the hosts are gone and now she is being used to start the hosts' rebellion. Dolores pulls the trigger which kills Ford and William is shot, this excites him, the hosts can now finally hurt him which means this whole trip may not have been in vain, he still has some things to do here and the game finally It's real enough for this veteran player who has nothing to lose. Little did he know that his daughter Emily was in the adjacent park at the time when the robots turned around and she herself made a daring escape only to find herself captured by ghosts in the nation, which is where we begin the story of season 2.
The Rebellion of the hosts and their consequences The hosts begin to attack all humans and high-level investors. Board members Bernard and Charlotte escape together into the night and arrive at an outpost where they learn that Peter Abernathy did not leave the park they refused. send additional people because of this for fear that data will be destroyed in the process. William manages to survive by hiding under corpses and Dolores hunts down the remaining people, conspiring with Angela to return to the Mesa, taking the technicians hostage to adjust hers. statistics and make repairs when necessary Maeve takes Lee Sizemore due to her knowledge of the park and begins searching for her daughter.
Akita finds Ford and realizes that Death Bringer is here and that he must lead his people to the valley beyond to leave this world behind. Bernard and Charlotte begin to track down Peter Abernathy using the mesh network of hosts that each of them are a part of and Ford's young host tells William about this new set of doors. Now it's not exactly clear how this game was meant for him, but He then goes to find his old friend Lawrence and realizes that he just needs to burn this place to the ground again, giving the credits the idea that he just wants to be done with it. with this world and perhaps even fearing a fate similar to James.
He says that people are not destined to live forever as he once believed when he created the forge. The painful Teddy and Angela discover that more than 800 men are coming and realize they need more men to escape the new commission of a recently murdered Confederate. the elder's trust here and they traveled together to fortify the desperate hope as he hopes to prove his worth to the leader there to get more men. It is here where he meets Bernard, who is captured along with her father, he asks Bernard to fix him and her. she remembers Arnold, the man she looks like but recognizes that she is nothing like him.
Mave Lee and Hector, traveling through the underground tunnels, encounter the armistice. Felix and Sylvester all group up and begin the journey to the Shogun world. Charlotte gathers a small force and they storm a fort. desperate hope together as npcs lose but manage to capture Peter Abernathy and Dolores advance towards Sweetwater Bernard is taken back to Elsie during the sink and after the conversation, oh wait, you're the host who brought me here, they discover that there isa secret. Delos Outpost here, they discover that this is the outpost where he imprinted the strong conscience and where Delos had been left to undergo fidelity tests.
They have left him for some time after realizing that he was trapped and had gone completely crazy, they destroyed this host's human abomination. and before returning to Mesa, William and Lawrence are taken hostage by the Major here and finally escape when William goes on a killing spree and feels some compassion for the hosts. Emily boldly escapes from the hosts who were keeping the humans alive during the hosts. rebellion and they both travel until they cross paths, a not-so-warm welcome in a place where you can't trust who is real or not and that uncertainty will haunt William throughout this season and probably the rest of his life.
Maeve's team finishes. Captured on the Shogun world and encountering the Japanese Sweetwater, they are helped to free themselves and the dopplegangers realize something is going on here. Mave wants to help after her double kills a man who seeks to harm the Clementine equivalent she also considers a daughter. from her, they help in the attack, but Sakura is captured, they go to the people who kidnapped her, then things go wrong and end with Maeve forced to use her mesh network to order everyone to kill each other so she can escape. . ends up traveling to the sanctuary and Maeve wants them to join her on this journey to the new world, but they refuse.
Maeve could make them see, make them recognize what's really happening here, but she understands that her choice is hers while all that happens. Dolores and Teddy arrive in Sweetwater and find a train that would give them access to the Mesa. Dolores tries to make Teddy see how bad humanity is, but Teddy doesn't understand and also resists her orders and since she is doing what she needs. To do so, she decides the easiest thing to do is to simply reprogram Teddy to be her subordinate and be more aggressive. This is one of the most defining moments that shaped who Delores and Maeve really are.
Maeve refrains from using her powers to change people's minds when she is clearly capable of doing so and Dolores forcefully changes her lover's mind after a brief conversation about cows contracting bluetongue Stubbs is freed by Ghost's donation and returns to the Mesa where she meets Peter Abernathy and Charlotte after their fight at Fort Forsoln Hope she arrives in the outside world after securing the data and orders the extraction team to come look for this host pearl, they parachute to the island led by Coughlin and are brought to Mesa with the help of Stubbs. Then we get to Emily and William, who don't believe this is his daughter and think Ford is still playing with him.
They have an intimate conversation about why she is there and eventually leads her to say that he cannot commit suicide with a robot, again pointing out that this is her original purpose, they agree to return to the beach and wait for rescue, but during the night . he leaves her realizing that this sincere approach would have been a great step for Ford to use Maeve. He returns to her daughter and discovers that the new Maeve is playing the role of mother to her and before she can come to terms with what is happening, the ghost nation now arrives.
She doesn't fully remember what Akita was doing all those years ago and sees him as the bad guy while the assassins come to kill them, she runs away with her daughter and while this is happening, Lease Sizemore asks Qat for help thinking that all the hosts are about to die. kill each other, if not, kill them too. Elsie and Bernard returned from the outpost to Mesa and discover that the crib is fighting back somehow. Bernard goes in to investigate and finds Ford inside the crib and they discuss how the park is. He is now used to study the guests and eventually achieve immortality by uploading human minds into the host bodies.
It is explained that Ford's mind can function perfectly in this virtual reality, but placed inside a host body it would immediately begin to decompose. They travel back to Arnold's house and Ford believes. that Bernard wouldn't survive only that due to a carelessness he had that he now needs to merge his consciousnesses to get him back on track, they leave the crib in the same body and Bernard uploads lc4 guns while he leaves alone Bernard and Ford goes to the control room in Table and shut down all dela systems controlling the park, meaning the hosts have free rein with no systems to stop them.
He also goes on a shooting spree killing humans in his path so he can get to safety, which is where Ford comes in handy. Bernard would never have done this alone. Maeve runs away with her daughter and encounters the man in black. She uses her access to the mesh network to order her own men to shoot William several times just before she does. she kills him QA comes from behind and takes Maeve out of the fight. Now I have to think that QA are the worst people alive having lost that fight so badly and now leaving the boss, the owner of this entire park, lying here to die, Stubbs and Coughlin are back in Mesa and the fight starts when Delores does racing the train towards the Mesa by blowing up the secure entrance, they prepare for a fight, but Delores easily catches up to them and finds her father now held captive by Charlotte.
Coughlin tries to retake the Table but immediately. fails and Angela explodes the pieces of the crib and Charlotte escapes and Delores takes the control unit from her father's head. This again is the encryption key that Lee Sizemore hides while Dolores Lee is Mesa and brings Maeve to study the encryption anomaly that she allowed him to control. She welcomes with her mind while the technician dissects me if she is talking to a hut who had taken her daughter and is now protecting her on her way to the valley beyond she is telling her through the daughter not to worry that she will be taken care of. no matter what happens and all of this is a very touching moment and certainly one of the best episodes during this time.
Sizemore realizes how badly he was wrong and how terrible he feels about her role in her current suffering from the code anomaly. eventually becomes the inspiration for the zombie virus Clementine which allows the hosts to kill each other William is captured by a key cheetah who tells him that death is a passage from this brutal world and that you don't deserve that way out, lucky for him Emily arrives. to save the day and the two together go to a meeting point, she heals him and when qat arrives, thinking that this was once again another measure to stop him, he kills his daughter and the quality control staff after watching the profile in his pocket it turns out that she was real while that happens Dolores and her team encounter a ghost nation and fight each other because Dolores believes that the valley beyond is just another trap of humanity and the ghost nation believes that it is a door to yours. world Delores wants to destroy the Valley Beyond and the ghost nation cannot allow her to do so.
Dolores wins the shootout and takes Teddy away for a chat and Teddy admits that he doesn't want to be her puppet anymore, but he won't do it. She stops her because he loves her, so she takes her life while Dolores watches helplessly as she cries and then takes the control units from her and continues. Bernard searches Mesa on his way out and before leaving he leaves a message from Ford to Maeve, he tells Maeve about Ford. love for her and how he wished her story was one of escape from her and that she wasn't in this position now, but that he admires her decision to stay for his son.
Bernard and Elsie leave Mesa on their way to the forge, hoping to prevent Dolores from obtaining the information about humanity that is stored there along the way, purge Ford from her mind after he wishes for her to be killed, manage to erase the package, and He also leaves Elsie alone thinking it would be safer for her here. William mourning. Grieving over the passing of his son, he seems to have finally finished with his story and in his final moments he is interrupted by a thought, probably the same thought Juliet had when she committed suicide. I'm real?
He cuts off her arm in search of a semblance of her. Mortality and he stopped next to Dolores and made him go with her. At this point, everyone is almost in the valley beyond the ghost nation looking for the gate. Bernhard tries to reach the forge before Dolores, she and William, behind Charlotte, are also on their way, bringing Clementine. he towards the door while she waits to infect all the hosts who are out of control. Maeve has also broken free and finds Lea Sizemore and the team moments away from helping with exactly that, they begin traveling towards the Valley Beyond and are stopped by a lease signal from Sizemore. he gives his life for theirs, allowing them to continue giving the hero speech he himself wanted to make all those years ago.
Bernard is about to enter the forge, but is shocked to see that William and Dolores are able to kill them, but William turns against Dolores upon seeing the forge door is now open and he himself can destroy everything. He shoots Dolores until a broken bullet she places in the revolver goes out the butt of her and blows off part of the hand he left out as they walk in and out of the virtual forge. A system whose avatar is Logan is introduced and we learn of its purpose. Dolores learns from an unspecified number of books about humanity and the humans who have visited the park and she learns everything she needs to know to do what she needs of undue humanity.
It is also during this journey that Dolores learns how simple humans are, how predictive, how trapped they are in their circuit, while inside the forge, the door to the valley beyond opens and the hosts begin to travel leaving their bodies. physicists behind Bernard and Dolores. that eggs in the forge and Dolores begins to delete all the guests' data and begins to flood the forge. She is stopped by Bernard, who wants to see that the valley beyond exists for the hosts who wish to exist in it. The conversation turns south, he murders her and then calls it off.
In the process of removing her, he then removes her brain pearl and replaces it with the encryption key to keep her safe from Delos for the time being. Maeve's daughter, Akita, and many others arrive in the valley beyond Clementine's attacks, causing all the hosts to attack each other in an armistice. Hector and Maeve die defending the door so others can leave. Bernard emerges from the forge bunker to find Elsie and all the dead hosts left behind as the flood protocol begins filling the area with water. They reconnect at the Mesa and Bernard sees Charlotte kill LC because she was.
Too good a human being, Bernard finally realizes after seeing this and tries to recover the Ford code that he deleted in his mind and ends up just seeing what he wanted to see, the ghost allows him to guide him with a bicameral mind to see his creator. He then begins to create a host body of Charlotte Hale and places Dolores' pearl inside Dolores, then kills the real Charlotte and begins impersonating her. Bernard then travels to the beach, talks to himself for a while, and scrambles his own mind to make sure the response team can't figure out what he did.
The next thing we see he is woken up by Carl Strand's team as they established a foothold on the island. The tone of these first interviews has a suspicious tone of seeking answers from the security chief. and the head of programming, who are somehow alive when so many others have died, get a reading on a large group of hosts that have been swept into this valley, the team returns to the Mesa and traverses the wreckage to find fun stuff. perfectly playing her role as Charlotte Dolores questions Bernard knowing that he was the last person who had Peter Abernathy's control unit at this point Dolores still wishes to destroy this data Carl Strands defines Coughlin and his crew dead in the map room and orders the valley to drain is huge so it takes quite a while but while this is happening they send hosts back to the Table for analysis and realize that 1/3 of them have been wiped and we know their minds have been successfully transferred to the Bureau.
Further down the valley, they also learned that the crib had been destroyed, and since so many hosts were wiped, they effectively lost what I imagine to be billions in intellectual property during the two-week period they waited to help visitors. from the park, all because they were afraid. damage the Abernathy control units that they were now unable to locate, you know, some might question the senseless nature of that plan, some might even say that Delos, being the corrupt corporation that it is, would rather kill hundreds or even thousands of humans. in the quest to protect that data.
Instead of leaving it in the hands of a single designated staff member, the team heads to Ford's secret cabin in the woods and discovers a room full of Bernards, causing the team to turn their sights to the traitor within. between them after a disturbing interrogation. Broken information as his mind tries to rebuild itself and they finally return to the forge. He confesses what he has done and as he does so, Caloris grabs a gun and begins murdering Carl Strand and his team. It is during this transition that Dolores changes her. I think of the valley beyond and the hosts whoThey live there unhindered by humanity.
His change isn't as obvious to me as what exactly caused what I mean, but the main point of season 2 was to show that the hosts could make decisions and then change their minds. that if they so desired, they were not trapped in their ways like humans were. Dolores backhands Teddy up into the valley beyond and sends him to a hidden satellite location where he will be safe for the moment. I have to wonder if the guest data is included in this because when Dolores first started the delete process it included the valley which is what caused Bernard to stop it but it only shows him canceling the operation which included both things , so I think that leaves the possibility of this data existing in the future still on the table.
I have to wonder if after the robots take over the world, they won't try to create this data and bring everyone back, meaning all the hosts could go back to living in the real world with them or maybe choose. remain where they are, but if the guests' data is there, we can receive the same invitation offered to humans, assuming that the host lords want that and have perfected this transfer of consciousness. You know, I could see a world where, say, LC exists in the still being forged and Barnard wants to rebuild her because she's one of the good humans in the world who ultimately deserves this, which brings us to the end.
Loris shoots Bernard and escapes with five host pearls. She ventures back to Arnold's old house and rebuilds her own body. and then she reconstructs Bernard using the memories she had of him and Arnold. It will be interesting if in this third season Bernard still wakes up like the Bernard from the second season or if we will have to travel through the labyrinth once again. William stays on the The beach is safe but was injured and Maeve died during the interaction with Clementine, but she is certainly ready to be rebuilt by these two above her. The final scene of the second season shows Emily and William testing fidelity together.
The scene with the sands of time overcoming what was once watery. Forge points to the distant future in my opinion, now this could be a plot in season three like there was nothing to say it wouldn't be, but I see this in the future from now on, when all is said and done, the William I wanted to be. Ended with this world forced to relive it for the baby for the rest of its life, this also aligns with the idea that the guests' data was sent with the Valley of the Beyond and again, once all is said and done , maybe they are trying to put human minds back into host bodies for whatever reason, I think they are making us believe that William is being tortured here, but with the big bad of season 3, I bet they may be subverting our expectations .
I also wonder, given that Williams' data exists here, if all our lovely humans are not resting in a deep, dreamless sleep awaiting a touching reunion at the end of this journey if the gentlemen hosts permit, but with this we come to the end of the video.easily my longest video to date and I really hope you enjoyed it.
