May 30, 2021
You're right, this is amazing! - This is really cute. - Look at this crazy bridge, man! - Oh, the kids love that. It is a recreation of an 1880s-style watermill. Surrounded by a variety of lively wooden sculptures. - What are you spinning in the old mill? - And although at first it seemed like a random destination, it ended up being really nice and relaxing. It's very quiet. - Friend, yes! Apparently, Arkansas is the natural state. And when I Googled it, there were a lot of waterfalls, a lot of little lakes and streams and stuff. So, I think we're getting a little bit of that here.

How are we doing? - Honestly, the trip from Nashville wasn't that bad. At times the darkness was intense. - Yes. Yes, this is the darkest it's ever been. - Other times it had a couple of streetlights. - Yes. - I know, I'm very spoiled. Besides that, I also noticed that it was like climbing mountains to get here, but I couldn't see the mountains, which was a mind-blowing experience. I think we are all going uphill. - We definitely are. - But none of us can see that we were going uphill. - Trust us. - Now we are quite tired.
Then I'll take a shower and we'll just go to bed. - Yes that's fine. That's all bye. - Bye bye. Good night, see you tomorrow. See you in about two seconds. See you right now. - Good night. Alright, so we're here in downtown Knoxville, just wandering around, looking at the buildings. Happy anniversary, Alan and Gail Hammer. There are many brick buildings, shops, restaurants, Knoxville Soap and Candle. How would you feel if I desecrated your property? The front of this says our beloved doctor, Dr. John Mason Boyd and down there we have a couple of cannons. - Look at the cannons on this building. - So, after we have seen some of the sites, we will have some breakfast and some coffee and we will be on our way to our final destination, Philadelphia. - We also have to grab his cat. - Good! - I can not forget it. - No. Don't leave your cat in Knoxville. You can see his butt though. - Crusty shows your butt to the camera. Oh, you're already doing it. Perfect, sweet, that was easy. - So our trip today is quite long. It's about nine and a half hours and we'll drive through the rest of Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland and then Pennsylvania for a total of 626 miles and five states, including West Virginia. We will also pass through West Virginia. - Wow. - Wow. - I knew there were mountains. - There is the mountain. So it was at this point that we got off our old friend, Highway 40 and turned north, making our way through the smoky mountains until we reached Virginia. - Virginia is for lovers, - And for re-enactors, at least that's what I said in our last video.
I wonder how far Colonial Williamsburg is from here. Should we go? Let's take the cat. Crusty, you can pull the cart. We passed some large rocks. - That's a big stone. - Oh, I'll bring the stone. We are here to buy some food at the supermarket. (incomprehensible) The pinwheels are incredible. Maybe we'll see if a Starbucks has a Virginia cup and then we'll switch to it.
So I'll drive the rest of the way and we'll keep going. - We're getting closer. - After Roanoke, we attacked like a four-state blitz where we crossed from Virginia into the narrower strips of West Virginia. - Welcome to West Virginia. - I think I understood it. - And Maryland. - That one up there is white, go slowly. - And finally to Pennsylvania. - Oh yeah. - Whoa, hoo! All in a period of 30 minutes. - Well, now we're in Pennsylvania. Final state. - Final state, honey. - We are reaching 76, which is the Pennsylvania Turnpike. This is like our last great freeway junction.
So we're getting there. That's Amish land. - So after driving through western Pennsylvania, Chocolate. - Give me the chocolate. We made our last pit stop. I stink. - Well, practically our final check-in. We are on the last leg of the trip, but we had to go pee, travel by road. And we went through Wawa. So yes, we really are in Pennsylvania. - It's a mega Wawa. - It's a super Wawa. - Let's go pee, let's do it, it's time. - But yeah, we just want to check in and let them know that we're peeing, but it's actually about Wawa.
Wawa is awesome, so there you have it. Alright, Saf, bring home the bacon. - Wawa, we're out! - You don't have anything else, I think you do. - We were at Wawa and now we're out. - Well. Were going. (laughs) Through the rainy windshield, Philadelphia. It's not always sunny. (laughs) Bad weather. - And suddenly we had arrived. - Okay, so we're arriving right now. - Yes. - We're exhausted. Let's unpack. - Yes. - We're going to go to sleep. - Yes. - And then we have an introduction for this video.
