up and down a bit in terms of range, we went with 112. We got to 117 and then it kind of flattened out, we went down to 100 and then on the last hill, uh, we came back. up to 103 miles of range so it's been fluctuating a bit but I suspect not as much as that blade we're going to see if it performs well yeah so here's a question for you how many miles of range do you have left and what battery percentage you got 34 battery 105 miles of range my sheet says 41 battery 116 miles of range the top of loveland pass barely had 79 miles of range and now i'm here on gold and i have 116 miles let's go back to the rock and i will have very curious to see how much of that 116 is actually left here lets turn it back on so we have 84 miles of range left on 29 battery and we have

drive

n uh this is not quite right i reset it too late so we have

drive

n about 154 miles in total and i understand of course that's not comparable to the

tesla

because we're not comparing battery sizes but we can do some math and compare can't we tommy? i'm 83 whoa 83 miles of range so uh up the

mountain

down the

mountain

his car was wavering left to right mine was wavering a bit but we both went back to the office and they both say pretty much the same number so we both have about the same number of miles left yeah at the end of this ride and i think there's a couple takeaways first of all mileage on an electric car like king yeah you know when i was on top of loveland pass i was terrified that i wouldn't come back and that has to do of course with the fact that this com the computer on this sheet is not as smart as the computer and

tesla

so tesla knows we are going up and down a mountain , but however the longer the range the less range anxiety the

more

you have in reserve I think that's important the other The bottom line is this is a heavier twin engine vehicle that has much

more

performance ment and yet at the same time it basically has the same amount of range as the

leaf

which

is a front wheel drive motor vehicle so i think tesla has better battery tech mate yeah i mean that The Leaf is an all-electric vehicle, but the funny thing is that it's still set up as a gas-powered vehicle, right?

It looks like a gas hatchback in many ways. It has front wheel drive like a gasoline hatchback. it doesn't have a front trunk like a gas hatchback where the tesla has the front trunk it doesn't have that hump in the middle i mean it looks like it was designed from the ground up to be an electric car even though the

leaf

was like that yeah it's w strangely there you can look you can see it's charging for 24 hours left 24 hours to charge this bad boy over 24 well the tesla will be longer mate but it says over 24 hours to charge ok to charge the tesla you push the cover it locks in place i cant get it off more than 24 hours tommy too more than 24 hours yes you have a long way to go alright guys next time at the thrift e3 what are we going to do tommy wow much more to do yes try skid skid test and we're also going to see how well this car builds going through the panel gaps ok check out tflcar.com for more usage news and of course three cheap reviews we See you next time, bye.
