Campfire mayonnaise. Chrissy Teigen says Red Robin ranch is the best. And I have no right to fight with her about it, so we'll just say it's for the best too. I don't know which sauce is better.
I could see myself doing both at the same time. I feel like I don't want to say goodbye to each one. Each time is harder. We have Red's Buzz Boneless Wings and ours with lots of buffalo sauce and crumbled blue cheese, of course. And there's a bunch of chips underneath that make it nice, it's almost like nachos to me in a way. But nachos with buffalo wing chips. Mm, that's a nice buffalo. Look at all those blue cheese crumbles. It's that spicy flavor that hits you right in the face the moment it hits your tongue and just keeps building up.
And if you ate all of this, you would be covered in sweat. Although a happy sweat. This has been a difficult round for me because I love them all equally. But if I had to choose, it would be the tower of onion rings because of the sauces, they are (bleep) amazing. And then the pretzel bites because... Let's go for the burgers. This seems manageable. It's strange to say it out loud, but it really is. I'm fine with this. - Famous last words. - I'm fine with this. Dead. (solemn music) A fun game that my friends and I like to play is to purposely fill each other's drinks to the brim so that you have to drink them like that constantly.
So I'm drinking Red Robin's 1969 blonde ale here. It is a tribute to the year they opened. And also this is one of the first beers we've had, I don't know, in a long time. We don't really drink beer in these restaurants. Pinkies up (beep). I feel like an animatronic doll that's like watching all the hamburgers and it doesn't work properly. This is the smoke and pepper burger. And it has a lot of spicy bacon on top. Three big chunks of that. And I also think they call these pickle boards. They're not going to play with black pepper on this.
That bacon is super potent. It is also very crispy. It's almost like the perfect bacon BLT here. It's really juicy. I love all the lettuce and pickles in there. It breaks everything. Look at that beautiful cheese at the bottom here. And I think it's their bistro sauce that looks like a kind of mayonnaise with cheese and happiness. I don't recommend you do that. This is a southern charm and here it has brown sugar frosting. I'm excited. This will be a very sweet burger. What a good bite. If I went to the dentist, I would be very proud of myself.
This tastes like we're at a barbecue on the 4th of July. He's still there. - Hey, at least I'm telling you now. -Should we hire an intern whose job is simply to clean my face? The bacon is perfectly crispy again. And I really love how soft the buns turn out. I hate when the bun to burger ratio is out of whack and it's too much bun. This is perfect. Oh no. Technically I should also make the fried steak, right? They have no bottom, they are great. I was going to dip it in salad dressing, that's not how it works. So on your table, when you come here, you get their original seasoning flavor, which is like... I tried to smell it before and I almost snorted it all in my face. I hope it smells like Old Bay, but it doesn't. I like it because it smells like it's going to be very strong, but it doesn't have a very strong flavor. Madlove burger. I'm really excited because it has a jalapeño relish and this parmesan crunch and probably Motts crunch.
It's a crunchy crunch as you would say. And I feel like this burger has beautiful layers. You have the meat, the cheese, the bacon, the tomato, the onion, and there is avocado. This might be my favorite. The jalapeño sauce is very strong. It burns like right here, on my tongue. It's kind of wow! I love cheese. OMG, it's so spicy. Because? I'm a little sweaty from that burger. I'm purposely ending this one because I feel like it will be the one I'll love the most. It's the Black & Bleu burger. And look how much sauce there is.
There's a creamy cheese sauce, crumbled blue cheese, and plenty of mushrooms. It looks so cheesy and syrupy. It almost seems like there is an artichoke and spinach dip inside, but we know that is not what it is. It's so daring. It's juicy and moist. Oh Lord. It's like the juiciest thing ever. It's very creamy. And almost, I mean mild in flavor, because it's very cheese and mushroomy. It's all these things that are very comforting. I love this burger. I love Black & Bleu and although this jalapeño relish killed me a little, I love the crunchy cheese.
It's very hard for me to eat a lot, but I enjoy it and if you love spicy food, you'll love that burger. This thing is just staring at me. It's, I... That's how I feel. We have the Royal Red Robin burger and it has a nice fried egg on top. You've got your bacon, you've got your American cheese. We have mayonnaise here. We have lettuce. Oh, it's heavy. It's like holding a newborn baby. This is going to be so complicated that I can already tell. - I'm so close. - Okay, okay at this point. You don't even need much dressing.
Without dressing, with sauce because the yolk is the sauce. I can't get over its weight. It is a very, very heavy and dense burger. It's like a piece of bacon or hamburger in my eyeball. - Nice! - It's a Whiskey River burger with fried onion straws, barbecue sauce, what the fuck am I doing? Burger and cheese, whatever. Oh, these burgers feel heavier than the last round. I don't know what they did here. It's like a tower of fried onion stuffed inside a burger, a (bleep) ton of barbecue, spicy-sweet bliss. And this is rocking my damn world right now.
I am not going to lie. I saw this on the

and thought (bleep) it's sand in your shorts. And this seems just what I expected. A tropical, beautiful, it looks like a sunset in a cup with your little cherry and your orange. Oh. It starts. I thought this would be a sugar bomb. If Sour Skittles had a pineapple and passion fruit flavor, this is what it would taste like. Wedgie burger. Please look at the health of the plate. Look at all the green. We have never seen things like this. And by the way, as much as you want to make bottomless fried steaks, you can also make bottomless broccoli if you want to go the healthy route. - That sounds like Tess's nightmare. - It would be Tess's nightmare.
This is a low carb ketogenic person's dream. Oh, there's a lot of guacamole here, tomato, bacon, oh, no cheese. I thought I would miss the bread, but it's really satisfying to have the crunchy, crunchy lettuce here. I miss cheese, but I would order this with cheese and call it a day. This is the teriyaki glazed burger with a whole thick piece of pineapple. Oh, lots of thick chunks! I was really excited about this one because I know pineapple on pizza is divisive, but I feel like it's not so divisive on a burger. Pizza sauce and pineapples don't go together, but I feel like hamburger meat with pineapples and a little bit of tomato goes together.
I'm going to stop talking because none of this makes sense anymore. The teriyaki in this burger is spectacular. Hell yes. I love teriyaki in that. Holy (bleep) that's good. This terrifies me too. I want to know what made Red Robin think about adding a whole jalapeño on top of his burger. Is this to warn you about what is going to happen? We have a Burnin' Love burger here. One of my favorite things about this is that they have these little fried jalapeno coins. So instead you would think it's a fried pickle, but you'll be really sad when you bite into it if you think it's a fried pickle.
Let's see if I can do it. Ah yes, there you have it. You can see the jalapeno. Can you see the jalapeño? I get so angry when he makes me... It's not spicy, it's not spicy, it's not spicy, it's not spicy. This is one sweat-inducing burger. Sometimes burgers say they're like coffee glazed whatever, but when you try it, it's like everything else takes over.
In this one you can still taste the teriyaki. I really love that. And I love the barbecue one. I don't think I have any more to say about the burgers, so I'm really sorry for the next round. It will probably be like it tastes like meat! We're on the last round of burgers, which means we're halfway through. The funny thing about Red Robin is that they have more than 100 different ingredients that you can put on your burgers. So you can truly do whatever your heart desires. The ones we're looking at here are the ones on the menu, but if you want two crazy things together, you can order them.
We have the Double Haystack Tavern. Two burgers, lots of crunchy onion here and the campfire sauce, which we know we love. I'll probably opt for all the cheese on the side. - Did you take care of your Lact-aid? - I took a Lact-aid. Will I need two? Of course. That's a commercial bite. Check it out. I would frame this (bleep). When you really want to eat a cheeseburger, this to me is exactly what I want. The cheese between the two burgers is what makes this a cheese lover's paradise. I'm going to drink some Blue Moon in a Pilsner glass.
It's like the kids' mimosa or the mimosa of those who hate wine. Second burger here. Double Cowboy Ranch Tavern. We have lots of that beautiful ranch sauce that we love, cheese between each burger, and look, look, what we have again, lots of crispy onion rings. Well, not actually onion rings, but onion strips. Oh my god, it's leaking. I might like ranch a little more than campfire sauce. I really liked this burger. It was like a classic cheeseburger with an upgrade. I love this one even more because it has barbecue, ranch, crispy onion rings and is perfectly juicy.
Ranch and barbecue sauce together. What a beautiful marriage. Here we have the Pig Out Tavern Double. And it has a little brown sugar in the burgers. And lots of bacon. I'm not having the same reaction. I want the campfire sauce and I want the ranch with this. I feelThat's missing. How could we finish this round without the Red's Tavern Double burger? I don't know if I have it in me. I wanted to make my last bite a nice, really fun bite and make it the biggest bite yet, but just, ugh! Well. This is super creamy, classic and cheesy, although I want the ranch, barbecue sauce and campfire sauce.
I want all their sauces on all their burgers. It's just a simple request. Well, my favorite of this round, Cowboy Ranch was a beautiful out-of-body experience. Highly recommended. Call it 10. There is no part of this that says this will be fine for me. The color of this drink is crazy. It's Poppin' Purple lemonade with prickly pear. Poppin' Purple Lemonade prickly pear. Poppin' Purple Lemonade prickly pear. Poppin' Purple Lemonade prickly pear. Actually, it's not that hard to say. Oh. I was a little nervous that this was going to be like a prickly pear screaming in my face, but it's not.
It's very subtle. It has a lot of Swiss. Huge, thick, thick, thick, grilled pineapple and of course your tomato and your lettuce. I think the barbecue sauce is here too. I might like it better than the burger because the chicken doesn't compete with the pineapple and barbecue. Everything goes very well together. I would definitely order that for lunch. Chicken tenders, fried steak. Again, I think I already said this as a fun fact, but you can get them bottomless, same with salad and same with broccoli. In fact, I'm going to dip the fried steaks in the ranch.
Just the right amount of crunch for them. Tender chicken on the ranch, ready to go. Let's do it. You get four big boys. Like these are pretty. These are the size of my hand. Each one of them. And they're juicy, they have just the right amount of breading, and the ratio of breading to chicken is right where I want it to be. I want a good amount of breading, because I'm not trying to eat healthy grilled chicken here, I want it to taste a little unhealthy. And the ranch is that creamy and spicy. I understand what Chrissy Teigen is talking about.
I understand. We have Arctic Cod Fish & Chips here and they are like flakes. You get those huge chunks of fish. It is reconfortable. It makes me think of when I was a little kid and your mom would just do that to you. It is very simple. I think they are beer battered. That's how you know it's good. It just falls apart like that. Oh, I see them beautiful, oh, there is so much mayonnaise there and pickles, red onions, tomato, I have that lettuce. It will be like a basic element, a classic. It's really giving me Chick Fil-A chicken sandwich vibes.
I don't know if it is too. I think Chick Fil-A's sandwich is made with peanut oil and it tastes like that to me too. I like this, yes. We have the Ensenada chicken dish, which I'm told is a staff favorite here. This is very different from anything we've ever had. For me, roast chicken can be very bland and boring, but the two different sauces here take it to a whole new level. It's full of flavor, but it looks like it's healthy too. I really appreciate this. However, I have to say this was my favorite. The teriyaki chicken sandwich.
It was just beautiful, like the Swiss with the chicken, with the pineapple. It was like there was a very happy marriage, a happy relationship here. Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap, Cheddar Cheese, Bunch of BBQ Sauce, Roasted Chicken, Spinach Wrap. Thank goodness it's wrapped because there's a lot of barbecue sauce in here. It's overflowing. I really enjoy this. This is a messy boy. Check it out. That's like all that sauce there. BLT Avocado Croissant Sandwich. We have really big chunks of avocado. It could almost be avocado toast. And we have bacon here. We have turkey and tomato.
Again, a bunch of shredded lettuce. I know what I'm going to do, because I still don't feel like biting into this sandwich, so I'll tell you a fun fact. Red Robin originally didn't even sell burgers, which to me is a little crazy. They originally started with popcorn and wraps. So there were no fried steaks. They definitely weren't unlimited back then. And there were no hamburgers. They added it much later. Also, another strange and fun fact is that Red Robin started in Washington state. Most of the places we've gone are in Florida or Texas. I think it's really interesting that this one is from Washington state.
We really haven't gotten anything from the west coast yet. That said, I'll eat this sandwich now. For me it's a tame brunch sandwich. I want it to have a little spice. This is Red's exclusive Margarita. And at first when I ordered it, I assumed it was going to be the red color, because of the Red Robin Red, I don't know. I'm really excited that it's not red. And here is your typical margarita with Cointreau, you have the Triple Sec, you have your tequila, you have your lime. These are always easy for me to swallow. Daisies, way to my heart.
If I could add some of those jalapenos we ate from other rounds here, I'd be even happier. Still very delighted with that one. This is such a cute name. It's Avo-Cobb-O, you understand? And we've got blue cheese, tomatoes, grilled chicken, hard-boiled egg, avocado, crispy bacon, croutons, and somewhere underneath this, there's a (bleep) ton of lettuce. Although we can't find it. I don't even know how to properly construct the bite for this one. You just have to go into each little circle and get a little bit. This is a big mess. That's a mouthful. I do not regret.
I like my salad usually tossed and it ends up looking really gross. I like that it's a separate salad right now. This southwestern salad. I found one of the jalapenos here. He had like a smiling face. You see that. Little eyeballs, little smiley face. He is so cute. I ate it. I have a little bit of the grilled chicken with its barbecue sauce. I guess I'll add half a jalapeño, because they are very powerful. It's like a barbecue chicken taco in salad form. I like this salad better than the Avo-Cobb-O. I feel like this is much more up my alley of flavors.
It is very similar to a stronger flavor. Again, I think grilled chicken, most of the time, tastes really boring, so when you buy it from a place where you actually enjoy eating it, that's a big plus for me. I think this is my favorite thing, the Southwest salad. It's simply the color of the rainbow on your plate. You have to feel really good while eating this. I feel like an exhausted golden retriever, very, very bloated. I'm so excited because we're in the dessert round and the dessert round means we're almost done. We have the Mountain High Mudd Pie, which is just a bunch of chocolate.
Like three tiers of chocolate ice cream. We have a layer that looks like a brownie or a chocolate cake, and then we have cookies and cream ice cream and it looks like an Oreo crust, and then just a bunch of chocolate and caramel down here. That chocolate ice cream is soft. Can you see that? Hey, wait a minute. Oreo crust bottoms will always be my favorite. Graham Cracker Crust closes in at second place. This is simply a beautiful cape. It's like there's brownie, cake, Oreo, ice cream, there's something for everyone in this. I mainly demolished the bottom half and ignored the chocolate ice cream.
That's just because I'm lactose intolerant, not because I don't like chocolate ice cream. We have the S'mores shake that has the cutest, tiniest mini marshmallows. Remember those Swiss Miss hot chocolate packets? This is what they look like. They are not cute? And then these are chocolate covered graham crackers. And I guess this is just a bunch of graham cracker pieces with something to give it a toasty flavor. It's mainly more vanilla than chocolate, which I appreciate. There is a lot of chocolate at the bottom, so my straw may not be hitting there. But the chocolate graham crackers on top are really what helps me.
If I could, I would have them alone. We have the Oreo Cookies n' Creme shake right here. This is simply beautiful. Anyone who doesn't like cookies and cream, I don't know who you are, but let's chat. I like Oreos better than s'mores. The only thing that could make this better is if it was a really hot day and I was drinking this or if there was alcohol in this. Do you know my friend Cinnamon Sugar Doh Rings? He comes on his own pedestal. And it comes with two dipping sauces and is simply sprinkled and topped with sugar and cinnamon.
You get eight small mini donuts. It feels like a makeup sponge. Like you could put on makeup with it. We are going to try it with the caramel. So fluffy and so light, but thick at the same time because of the sauce. I'm going to break another one. Happiness with yeast, with yeast. Let's put it here in some chocolate sauce. I like chocolate more than caramel. These are deliberately warm. They are so soft, sweet, gentle, delicate and angelic, what's another word? I think I used them all. This is actually a very difficult round for me to judge.
I feel like these are very unique to Red Robin, so I'd say these two are a tie for me. This one is much more shareable for the table and a lot of fun to look at and probably take pictures of, while this one just destroys it. It looks like World War III on your plate, but it tastes amazing in your mouth and stomach. I think I've reached my melting point. My fingers are covered in sugar. My body is covered in sweat and barbecue sauce. I'm pretty sure there's ranch on at least three different parts of my body, too.
