the kardashians are using their followers as actual currency

May 30, 2021
not having permits in your area. Honestly,

their

PR team gets a two out of 10 from me. Please try harder. That left me with my last question about follower loops. Look, we know who the influencers are. It's the Kardashians and some other people. We know who the company is behind it. Selected businesses and they are simply horrible. But I want to know who is contributing to this. Who are the people you should follow to earn these gifts and how much does this contribute to

their

accounts? Well, I did a little research on their website and... Oh, no.

Follower loops don't work. This is an account, @mushyco. I guess they sell baby items. Now, notice how they have 667,000

followers

, but they get fewer likes on their posts than I do on my Instagram. I went to their Social Blade to check out their Instagram and they are losing

followers

almost every day. There is another account called @ggcbikinis and it has 156,000 followers, but some of its posts get as few as 300 likes. That's terrible. On their Social Blade, they don't lose followers almost every day. In fact, they lose them every day. That's when it hit me. Actually, the scam is not the Gucci bags.

More Interesting Facts About,

the kardashians are using their followers as actual currency...

I don't think the people who join and follow all these people to try to get some free designer are the ones who are being scammed. I think the companies and brands that try to buy these games are the ones that are being scammed. Curated Businesses is like, oh, we'll send followers to your account, but what's the point of that if all the followers are just going to unfollow every day for the rest of the life of your account? These follower loops do not increase the number of followers. They simply temporarily increase your number of followers. And there is a huge difference.

Brands don't pay you because you have 667,000 followers. You get paid by the number of likes you get. If it's 300, I'm sorry, boy, but you're not going to get that much. When you really step back and think about it,   why would these follower loops work anyway? The 100 million people who follow Kylie Jenner don't care about Mushy Co.'s baby items. So if Kylie Jenner says, "Hey, follow these people so you can win a free Gucci," they'll unfollow you once they follow you. don't win The only thing participating in a follower loop does is make your account look dead.

Since there are 75 people, how much do they

actual

ly pay to participate in this? For example, does each person pay $1,000 to get that boost and then Curated Businesses earns $75,000? I mean, that would cover Gucci bags. What if each person pays $10,000 to enter? Do the selected companies earn $750,000 per post? Who really knows how much they earn from this campaign? I wanted to see what kind of Instagram accounts were participating in this currently because they are

actual

ly running a campaign right now. Sofia Richie is giving away Gucci bags and to win, you have to follow the 75 people Curated Businesses is following right now.
I look at these people and would I be wrong if I said they look like the exact type of accounts that would try to buy 100,000 followers at once? Some are companies and others are influencers, but almost all of them already have 100,000 followers and many of them are verified. I see this guy right here, Patrick Bet. He already has 2.7 million followers. Why would you need to buy more at that time? Also, it's worth noting that I had never heard of this person. But I guess now when you see someone who has millions of followers and you've never heard of them, chances are those millions of followers haven't heard of them either.
We'll see. I see Janky and Guggimon. They are these artificial virtual influencers. They are like animated avatars who wear expensive clothes and get brand deals in exchange for it. But I guess they were a little more artificial than we thought, since they're just buying followers. I see Talentless. That's Scott Disick's clothing company. Isn't Scott Disick a real celebrity? Not just an influencer. I guess a million followers on his clothing brand wasn't enough. Oh look. It's not just Bing Energy, but also the CEO of Bing Energy trying to take some fans away from Sofia Richie. This is probably the least surprising of all of this.
Oh, wow. Nicole Arbor is there too. Now I take it back. That's the least surprising of all this. So yes. That's the last group of people that are probably going to get 100,000 extra followers the next day or whatever and that's how a follower loop works. To be honest, it's not even a loop. It is more of a transfer of followers. For example, you are simply paying this company to be an intermediary in the hopes that Kylie Jenner will transfer some of her followers to you. I really think this represents everything that is wrong with influencer culture right now, because the moment you buy a larger number of followers, the number of followers is just a number.
I'll use myself as an example. I have 216,000 subscribers on this channel, but I want more subscribers. I want a million people to see all the videos I upload every day. Two million, three million. But I want them to be real people. I also don't understand the point of this because you don't get brand offers due to the number of subscribers you have. You get them based on your views and likes. As you can see, paying select companies to have Kylie Jenner do charity work for you doesn't really increase the number of likes you get. So all this is pure vanity.
But if. That's the story of how the Kardashians are

using

their followers as pawns,

currency

, whatever you want to call it, and, whether they want to or not, pawning them off to other celebrities on Instagram

using

Gucci bags as bait for people who can't. pay. I'm just going to be honest with you. If I had the chance to win 20 Gucci bags and all I had to do was follow some people on Instagram, shoot, I could join Curated Businesses' next campaign. Honestly, who cares?
