INFLUENCER-19

May 30, 2021
I tried to be nice. I considered making this a calm video where I talk vaguely about the situation. Some

influencer

s are organizing parties and that is bad because we are in the middle of a pandemic. So maybe we'll stop you guys. I don't want to name names, but if you could not put people in danger, that would be great. So then I fallen in reason. Why am I so polite to people who can't even find enough compassion in themselves to not endanger the lives of everyone around them? I don't see a reason to do it. That being said, I have many names to name.

Since funeral homes here in Los Angeles couldn't accept any more bodies, California governors ordered eighty-eight refrigerated trucks to serve as makeshift morgues. We cremated her. Normally, we probably would have done a burial, but it might take until the end of June. So from that moment until he passed away... I couldn't see him. So since this is a pretty heavy video, let me get the fun stuff out of the way first. Now I'm back. Honestly, I haven't really left. I've been going up. So far I've posted 13 videos this month and they're on my other channel, which is also called D'Angelo Wallace for some reason.

influencer

s and celebrities are handling COVID-19 and why it makes me deeply angry. In part one, I want to take a look at celebrities and the other nonsense that's been going on regarding the pandemic. In the second part of this video, I'll take a look at Tik Tok stars and superspreading events. Oh, what do they call them?
influencer 19
The parties they have been throwing recently. And then in part three, I think I'm going to go after all my fellow YouTubers who pretend COVID-19 doesn't exist. Honestly, I'm tired of all of you. I know you are watching this video. That's good, that makes me happy. But do you know what makes me even happier? Today's sponsor, ExpressVPN. Today's video is sponsored by ExpressVPN. In my reality, working from home has become the norm for a lot more people lately, for obvious reasons. And the importance of keeping your computer secure was here, and now it's here basically. ExpressVPN encrypts your data so hackers can't see it and your ISP can't see it.

There's a reason, it's TechRadar, CNET, The Verges, the highest rated VPN. So follow the link in the description. You get three months of ExpressVPN free today. Now, without further ado, here's my video, influencer 19. Celebrities have always been a little bad at remembering that they're just like normal people, but during quarantine, on a scale of one to 10, I'd put them at a solid 19 for deafness. to the tone. From Sam Smith posting a quarantine crisis from his $13 million mansion, Sia posting viruses, but the V-I-R is crossed out, so it just says us. And it's like, what if I had the choice between knowing English and never having to read what you just said again?
до свидания. All celebrities are bad at this, it's like 1312 right now. Have you forgotten that Imagine cover? There is no heaven. Celebrities are here trying to give me hope about COVID-19, but they all have a tremendous lack of taste. Honestly, I'm more worried about getting COVID-19 itself. But instead of silly things like that, I want to look at more extreme examples of celebrity mishaps during COVID, because I feel like they represent kind of an interesting plot twist regarding our relationship with these celebrities. And who better to start than the perfect modern influencer, Kim Kardashian. She has enough fame in the real world to set up an interview with anyone in the world and has enough influence on social media to have an audience of millions aspiring to her lifestyle.
She's no stranger to my channel, and one of my most iconic videos is of me wandering around the size of her son's playroom. She and her entire Kim Kardashian clan have always perfectly walked the line between unattainable wealth and... Oh wow, she just likes me. But, my goodness, they didn't just erase that line during quarantine, they erased it. So Mrs. Kardashian West decided to make her birthday party more flexible. Throwing a party during a pandemic is... See where I'm going with this? But you see, hers was fine because he was actually on a private island where she administered COVID tests to everyone beforehand. "After two weeks of multiple health checks and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my inner circle with a trip where we were able to pretend things were normal for a brief moment." She then goes on to describe her birthday party, which despite taking place on an island, appears to have been drier than the Sahara desert.
She then ends by saying, "I realized that for most people, this is something that is out of reach right now. So in times like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisisforced." Obviously, literally everyone hated that. In fact, someone told him to read her room. She was being divided left and right, but what I found interesting was that a normal person could relate to her. Losing wages, dealing with unemployment, missing government checks, new childcare responsibilities. These things are more relatable than a trip to a private island, that's pretty obvious. Literally any normal person could have told you this, but I guess Kim K had to get the point across somehow.
No one was mad at her for being rich enough to live in a real private fantasy world where COVID-19 doesn't exist, but I think everyone was a little mad at her for sharing that and somehow thinking it was a choice. appropriate. So the next time they did it, the KarJenners decided not to share. See, Kendall Jenner hosted a birthday party right after that — sans masks, of course. And this one didn't get as much backlash, because this time they had a "no social media" rule. "Take all the photos you want, but don't post them on social media of any kind." Spoiler alert, people took photos and posted them on social media, all kinds actually.
Besides the Kardashians and Jenners, there were a lot of people there; The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber, Saweetie, Quavo, Jaden Smith, Winnie Harlow. All the people I'm very disappointed in and expected better from, except Justin Bieber. I don't really expect anything from him. And to be clear, they all violated Los Angeles' very clearly outlined guidelines that said, "Gatherings of people from three or more different households must take place outdoors, with face coverings and socially distanced." So I think my reaction would be regret if I was caught lacking like this, because my friends just couldn't stay away from the Gram.
But for some reason, Kris Jenner went on the offensive. They are commenting and they are being critical, I can't control that. She went on a radio show she had never heard of before and explained to me that everyone was tested beforehand, apparently the rapid tests that take 30 minutes to get the results. And we make sure that all our family members and our closest friends are tested religiously. So we do what we can. We try to follow the rules. I don't understand why you need to try to do the right thing when you can just do the right thing.
She acts as if she didn't organize the party despite the clearly defined guidelines. Did you know? We live our lives trying to be really good people. Their excuses are honestly pathetic, when there are people who can't even get permission to hold funerals for their loved ones who have died from COVID-19, due to social distancing guidelines they ignored so Kendall could have a party. Honestly, historically the entire KarJenner clan has received huge rewards for showing off their simply insurmountable wealth gap. But the global pandemic has turned this from something they can get more out of to something they sort of have to hide if they want people to stop hating them.
They are obviously used to being praised for their bland but expensive life. We've got Kim K's weird Q&A video with Vogue, there's Kylie Jenner's office tour. In that office, it was very evident that she never worked. Here, we have mine and my mom's closet. We have mine and my mom's office. There was a tour of Kris Jenner's house with Architectural Digest. Well. Actually, I'm not going to lie, I mean... Wow, it's a nice house. I would live there. But my point is that before COVID this wealth gap basically meant, "Oh, Kim K. can afford a Louis Vuitton bag and you can't," and people are open to that message for some reason.
But now, this wealth gap means that Kim Kardashian can afford to keep her family safe from COVID-19 and live with the same level of comfort she had before, and you can't. That is no longer an aspiration to share with people, it is now something antagonistic. You would have to have a serious lack of awareness not to notice that. But what do we expect from the Kardashian Jenners if not a serious lack of awareness? The only unscripted video Kim Kardashian has ever posted isn't even one I can play on YouTube. Living her life above the rules because she can afford luxurious testing sites, private islands, and expensive getaways is definitely an option.
But at least it doesn't put anyone in danger, since everyone is being tested and all. In fact, that's why I started them as an example, because they are the least infuriating of all the ones we have to analyze in this video. Lana Del Rey, independent singer, threatens on the Internet. She has been on a year-long mission to secure her place as the queen of controversy. And boy, did he make much progress with this whole mask incident? Now, I already went over the situation in the video, one of the 12 videos I uploaded to my other channel this month.
And that video was actually an update to a video I posted here about Lana Del Rey. She is a lot, but the image of her has surely changed since the first video I posted about her. This all started when Lana Del Rey decided to do this impromptu book signing at Barnes & Noble, which is during the pandemic. It was for Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass, which is apparently the name of her latest poetry collection. Obviously it is completely irresponsible to encourage people to gather in such a small space, for something unnecessary. And with that unnecessary thing about selling more books, I actually find it despicable.
I can somewhat understand celebrating your own birthday despite the lives of the elderly and other people at risk around you, but celebrating your own product? Then again, having heard some of this poetry, I suppose I can see why she would need to go to great lengths to sell more copies of this. People think I'm rich and I am, but not how they think. That in itself is a squeaker, but what makes it worse is that she wasn't socially distancing. She was taking photos with her fans, all in her face, something she wouldn't even want even if she was dating a famous person.
IG photo will still work if you are here and I am here. No need... It's okay. Anyway, that's not what it's about. Actually, that's exactly what this is about, because you should be here if you could give me COVID-19. And yes, she potentially gave everyone COVID-19, with the mask she was wearing. Fortunately, I didn't hear any reports of anyone coming down after that, but this isn't even a mask, it's a decoration. I feel like most normal people know this, but masks are designed to prevent droplets from leaving your mouth. That thing on her face wouldn't even stop her froma logie came out of his mouth.
But I guess she just wanted to make a statement, and that's that nothing stands between Lana Del Rey and the hot air she constantly spews out, apparently not even a COVID safety mask. So she was obviously being dragged over hot coals on the Internet, as she probably should for doing something so egregiously stupid. But for some reason she thought, "What if I just don't respond to any of that?" So a month later, the student newspaper Michigan Daily did a retrospective of sorts. "Lana Del Ray was wearing a mesh mask. What now?" And they give a history of previous controversies.
But what's even more interesting in my opinion is that they also provide a unique insight into how Lana Del Rey is falling out of favor with fans of her specifically. "Mask label has become synonymous with compassion, intelligence and human decency. Del Rey's fashion choice feels like a slap in the face to those who have been intimately hurt by COVID-19 and to those who wear their masks without issue. The status of celebrity does not exclude Lana Del Rey from responsibility. That's very diplomatically and poignantly worded, but it also managed to call her uncaring, unintelligent, and indecent, which is like...
That was 10 out of 10, that was a good paragraph. Then Lana Del Rey finally responds. I'm not sure why a student newspaper, of all things, got into her news more than the traditional media, but hey, who knows what's going on in Lana Del's mind. Rey? Literally everyone, because her whole career is like oversharing "The mask had plastic inside. Nowadays, stylists usually sew them on. I'm lucky to have a team of people who can do that." My God, good for you. When people called her out on that post for not responding for... I think it was almost six weeks, she claimed that she was simply too busy making music and donating money to people to respond, for a month and a half.
If it honestly takes her this long to write two tweets, then I guess she finally understands why she never drops a tweet. album on time. But somehow, her apology really worked on people even though, at least to me, it was wildly obvious that she lied, right? You didn't think her mask had plastic in it, did you? This has no plastic. There is no fog when you lower the mask and it bunches up. It's clearly just a mesh material. Even when she speaks, there is no protection. I'm signing a little book. the Barnes & Noble in Grove Oh look, a mask that matches my outfit, but is technically COVID safe.
That's crazy, but notice how I sound like she's actually wearing the mask. That's what happens when you wear a mask versus an accessory. Now, the last time Lana Del Rey experienced so much backlash, her fans were quick to jump to her defense. Even in my own comments section, she was full of people who disagreed with me, which is fair, of course. But the thing is, because Lana Del Rey is so personal and all of her music connects so strongly with our fans, they are predisposed to defend her against anything. And it turns out that COVID-19 is too serious a problem for that to work this time.
As that article noted, celebrity sadness doesn't exempt Lana Del Rey from responsibility, especially since it's the responsibility of doing simple things that stop people from dying. If your book of poetry, your poetry book, is somehow more important to you than that, you need help. So holding a small gathering for the sole purpose of tripping up your fans, while desperately trying to get your poetry book into their hands... Oh my god, that rhymed. Fans, hands. Lana Del Rey canceled, buy my poetry book. This is a joke, Lana Del Rey doesn't get canceled because rich people don't leave, no matter how many teenagers on the internet tweet at them, fun fact.
Yes, hosting this event was disturbing, but as much as I hate to say it, I think it's the smallest gathering I mention in this entire video. The music industry is a billion dollar business. Its stars are larger than life. And it brings us all together, which is bad. And ironically, since we're in the middle of a pandemic, maybe we can skip that part. But I guess the music industry hasn't realized that yet. It's not about labeling everyone like that. There have been a lot of great concerts for people who are safe from COVID, like Billie Eilish, BTS, Tennis.
Entire awards shows have been held virtually to minimize risk, but also to celebrate the void as they always do, even in person. But of course, there has been a lot of garbage, like the one I'm about to review now. So, the Chainsmokers, everyone's favorite EDM band, known for their hits like Closer and that other song they released, which sounds exactly like Closer. And the other song they released sounds exactly like Closer. And don't forget the big summer hit, that other song that also sounds exactly like Closer. They decided to headline this charity event, which is usually a good one.
It took place in the affluent Hampton area. Tickets cost between $1,000 and $25,000 for some reason. Imagine paying $25,000 just to hear someone press play and then play parts 25 to 30 of Closer. In other words, it was a group of rich people who for once gave their money to someone who could actually use it, like the services they were donating to. And according to Billboard, this event was going to follow guidelines. Everything was going to be okay. First of all, they had to make all these promises to get permission, like only masks would be worn and people would be separated in various areas, etcetera.
And so they promised that, legally to the city. There is evidence of this. There are a lot of safety protocols here, including that guests had to stay within a 20 by 15 space. So after a few hours of everyone following the rules, I guess the event organizers said, "What if we don't "Would we do it?" They allowed people to congregate at the front of the stage, something that was not at all pre-arranged, and there was simply no social distancing. It was basically a mosh pit. Then the governor responded to this and called the event organizers: "Hey, that's not what you said you were going to do." I don't know how they approved that permit.
The promoters are going to have a problem. And they responded and said, "Oh yeah, the last part where everyone was in that mosh pit, they were actually socially distanced and there were no groups larger than 10." And it's like, why... This is the second time that people just violate these rules, and then they somehow think... You know what, maybe it's just stupid? Maybe if you're dumb enough to violate COVID safety guidelines, then you're dumb enough to think anyone will believe you when you lie about it after the fact. That's what I choose to believe, since I guess we just choose information.
Instead of lying, just admit that you don't care if people die or not. Save yourself the trouble. So the Department of Health started an investigation into this incident, because, my God, there were so many people there, and the conclusion of that, which I have mixed feelings about, was that New York fined them $20,000. I think it's an incredibly light fine, especially considering the fact that some of the tickets sold for over $20,000. So literally one person could have covered that. They didn't lose anything. Anyway, since we're in this little section of musicians, I'd love to take Rita Ora to task for seemingly being the worst person.
Photos emerged showing Rita Ora celebrating her 30th birthday party with a group of about 30 people, without masks, all inside a restaurant. This happened in West London and people were understandably very upset, because that was in direct breach of the guidelines put in place by West London to prevent people from transmitting COVID to everyone in West London. Then they caught her, obviously that wasn't something she posted on her story, and she started getting criticized by everyone from Twitter to law enforcement. So she decided to post an apology on Instagram in which she apologizes for her small gathering of 30 people, claims it was a spontaneous decision, and says, "I feel particularly embarrassed knowing firsthand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible disease". and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and companies have made to keep us all safe." So that, in itself is like...
But then it somehow gets worse, because it turns out that she did this after she had flown from Egypt, where he was doing some kind of private show. In other words, according to the government, he should have isolated himself because he was just in a foreign country, but no, he literally went straight to this party with 30 people. So he had to apologize. new: "I should have followed government advice and isolated myself for the required period. As you know, I did not follow the government's advice and for that I apologized earlier this week. I apologize again." ". At what point does she no longer become embarrassing?
For example, I haven't heard any of her songs trending in the past, I can't tell you, years, but she's trending twice in the span of a few weeks for violating COVID safety guidelines. And then she did it again and I'm not kidding. It turns out that when the police found her at that party with the 30 people, they started an investigation. And yes, it was the police who found her. They were the ones who had to stop the incident, because apparently Rita Ora paid the restaurant owner to make her and her friends violate those guidelines. They turned off the security cameras and boarded up the windows to prevent her from being caught.
As police reported to a committee, the restaurant owner himself testified that he accepted this money. And now, magically, Rita Ora had no apology or statement to offer when contacted about this. So yeah, no, that's why I say it's not like she did one thing and said, "Oh, I should have thought more about that." She said: "Today I woke up and I choose COVID." Before COVID-19, it was easier for musicians and all kinds of celebrities to convince us that they had some kind of special claim for being good at music, but now it's clear that their audience wants to see them following exactly the same thing.
Same rules as everyone else. In fact, I still find it fascinating in some ways to see these musicians lose their artificial exclusivity, because this ability to develop oddities has been the driving force behind many of their success stories. People are realizing that maybe I don't have to spend $25,000 on a ticket because I can watch this online. Billie Eilish did it. People are realizing that maybe a group of rich people going to a party have to follow the same rules as the rest of us, because those rules are designed to keep people from dying. Their untouchable status has been stripped away and honestly, that leaves them looking desperate and dishonest when they try to somehow muster the strength to get their way nowadays.
And Rita Ora and The Chainsmokers are just two people who were caught doing this. There's no telling how many people are still doing this and we just never hear about it. I honestly don't care how much I like your music. I don't care how talented you are. It will never be enough to excuse your decision to put people in danger, using your fame and influence to get your way. So imagine doing that and having no talent. I think it's time to abolish The Chainsmokers. Oh no, celebrities are having their worst fears confirmed, which is that they're not special.
They are simply rich and no amount of money will change that for them. And that's probably terrifying to them in some ways. But honestly, I wouldn't know because of course I'm special. Celebrities are no longer above the law, which means nothing because they have enough money that breaking the law isn't illegal, just inconvenient. But unfortunately we don't have time to get into that in this video. So I've talked about how really famous people are handling COVID-19. So let's take this to my circle, internet famous people. Okay, now that we're here, we're going to go down like seven more circles to the end and talk about famous people on TikTok.
There are nine circles here, if you haven't done the math. Now, before we get into this discussion about TikTok, there is one thing I want you to remember. These people are adults. I know it's hard to tell with all the youth dances, the high school drama, the elementary school haircuts, but most of these people are in their twenties. Addison Rae, Blake Gray, Larray. What's up with all these Rays? Is that a requirement to be popular on TikTok? Too bad Billy Ray Cyrus was born in 1961 instead of 2001, he could have been popular. Anyway, what I'm saying is that these people pay taxes.
They are allowed to vote. Oh my god, they're allowed to vote. They'd draft them if there was a war, okay? Heck, half of them are already desperately trying to hide their receding hairline. So nothink about the actions I'm going to describe as dumb kid actions on TikTok. Think of it as what it really is. Deranged adults with no capacity for empathy and no care for human life. And honestly, that terrifies me because their entire audience is just kids. The Hype House, a ton of influencers, millions of followers between them and not a drop of talent. Basically, imagine taking a boy band, okay, but some of them are girls and none of them sing or know how to sing.
Yes, that's The Hype House. They're only popular because enough kids like their TikToks that TikTok started promoting them. And now they are rich and they won't leave. Infinite net worth, zero contribution to society. That said, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by what I'm about to tell you. But unlike the traditional celebrities we talked about in part one, these people don't even try to hide what they're doing. So influencer collective, The Hype House, is one of many TikTok hubs that have hosted one of these massive influencer parties. This one was for the TikTok/YouTuber person. Larry.
She turned 22 and celebrated his party at The Hype House mansion. And just to be clear, this surprise party they threw her wasn't just like, oh, I'm going to hang out as friends. They clearly paid someone to host this event, which is crazy during a pandemic. So, thanks to Larray's follower account, many other influencers attended as well. And just to be clear, they are all pathetic. This includes James Charles, Nikita Dragun. I saw many influencers and zero masks. Basically, this was so egregious that Tyler Oakley called everyone out. Shout out to Tyler Oakley, I guess. If your favorite influencers are at big house parties during a pandemic and are dumb enough to post it on social media, they are bad influences, stop following them.
All the facts, without limit for God, he really does not miss it. Then he tagged Larray and several of the other influencers there, which is very chaotic and definitely an inspiration for this video. Hello Larry. Hello James. How are you? Then Larray offered this weak apology. That's a lot of words to avoid saying a single word, sorry. You know this whole idea of, okay, now that you've brought it to my attention, I'm going to take it seriously, is very twisted. You know why? Because people whose family members are dying from COVID-19 never had the option of not taking it seriously.
It starts out as a matter of life and death for many people. So the fact that you can finally decide to take it seriously because people are criticizing you is disgusting. James Charles offered an even weaker apology. All he could muster were white words on a black screen pushed as if towards the last part of a random video that mentions nothing about this controversy. "I want to encourage them to be smarter than I was before." Wait, that wasn't a good James. "And I want to encourage them to be smarter than I was before." Like the "I'll take it seriously" comment, this is simply a non-response.
Like you're not doing this because you're stupid. He did it because he didn't care whether or not he would get COVID and spread it to other people. I mean, I'm not saying James Charles isn't dumb about that. It definitely is, at least he acknowledged that part. But my point is that the stupidity here is just the side effect of a profound and disturbing lack of empathy. And that's not the only party like that. Like I said, there were a lot. Tana Mongeau and Erika Costell decided to go to a party hosted by Jake Paul where they posted this beautiful clip: Listen, we don't... care.
I'm sorry. We didn't really need verbal confirmation that none of these women care about anyone but themselves. We could know it simply by the fact that you were there in the first place. When Tana posted this apology, if that's what you want to call it, I'll really apologize later, it's possibly the worst illness I've ever heard from Tana Mongeau and that's saying a lot because she has a database of those that just goes back years back. Tana Mongeau is not good right now. And she still went down more than her lowest point. Now, this is all really serious, not just because it's like, oh, they decided to have fun instead of being safe.
I wouldn't care if you were just putting yourself in danger for some reason. This is a big deal because these people are turning Los Angeles into a COVID hotspot. Elijah Daniel, who is also part of that scene, has alleged that people are actually contracting COVID-19, which makes sense based on the video, but that they are simply not saying anything to their followers or, more importantly, among them. And if that weren't enough, The Hype House is basically like a traveling circus. Nailea Devora, James Charles, Nikita Dragun, these are all people that Hype House or Hype House members are collaborating with after the fact, despite their other lack of COVID responsibility.
And people like Nikita Dragun, who was also at that party, are making these idiotic decisions because they know there's really nothing to lose if someone else gets COVID because of this, and there's a lot to gain from the views that The Hype House brings. Now, as bad as all that is, I actually find that what they are doing is worse than what the traditional celebrities I mentioned in the first part are doing. And that's because, like I said, The Hype House's audience is only children. There is no one there except children. And although there are a couple of children at The Hype House, most of the people there are over 18 years old.
So this is a group of adults modeling the behavior of what they fully understand to be a group of children. And this behavior is what gets people killed. Every time The Hype House or any of these TikTok stars are criticized for their behavior, you can find a bunch of kids in the responses like, "Oh, I don't think it's a big deal. Leave them." alone." And it's crooked. It's kind of sick in a way. Fun fact, Larray isn't worth it. Just download iMovie and apply a bunch of effects and you can easily be himself. And what's worse is that The Hype House he effortlessly evades all the consequences of his actions.
Nothing is wrong with these people. But then again, that's actually the least surprising part of this because I'm literally describing a group of rich young people in Los Angeles, it doesn't matter. .Why would anything happen? That being said, other TikTok houses are actually having problems with their city government. So, Sway House is literally the exact same thing as The Hype House, but they actually have talent. You didn't think that was going to be true, did you? They're exactly the same as The Hype House, but worse. It's a frat boy TikTok collective, is the best way I can describe it, although I'm not sure if any. of them actually go to college.
I mean for a group of mostly men to be building this giant audience of mostly young people by uploading strangely sexual content is a lot in itself, but like a frat house, Sway House seems to have an obsession with pushing the rules as far as possible. as possible, if not simply breaking them. And that's usually not the most important problem in the world. But since the rules here are what stop people from spreading COVID and turning everything into a COVID hotspot, it's a big deal. I think Bryce Hall's 21st birthday party is one of the biggest reunions I've mentioned so far in this entire video.
There were supposedly 100 people there, and they were all crammed into his Hollywood Hills mansion, Sway House. In some pictures, it actually looks like a mosh pit. This party was broken up by police officers, but not before people took photographs. And it turns out there was a bunch of these frat boys in attendance. The NELK Boys I'll talk about later, Josh Richards, Faze Banks of all people, literally what do you get out of that? So after that, the mayor cut off the power to Bryce Hall in his mansion. See, this was part of a broad effort to repress these parties.
And all Bryce Hall did was joke about it. He posted tweets and TikToks, mocking the situation. He went on Jeff Wittek's YouTube channel and was completely unrepentant about the whole thing. You're basically like a TikToker. You are benefiting from the pandemic. Do you also sell masks? He was clearly sending a message that these consequences do not affect him. So I guess the government realized that, so they just charged him criminally, which snowballed. Both he and Blake Gray, also known as the 557th person on TikTok, are all indistinguishable, they were accused of throwing these types of parties.
And then the Los Angeles prosecutor held a press conference about it, condemning his actions. COVID-19 wide spread events are possible. Today, in light of this information, I make an announcement about a series of prosecutions linked to party houses. They face up to a year in jail, plus a $2,000 fine, that $2,000, what's with these minuscule fines? Well, let me ask you this. Why not charge a fine of $20,000 to cover the costs of the police officers who have to be sent there? So they were in a mansion talking to rich kids, instead of being able to help people who really need it.
It may cover the cost of the documentation you must submit in order to file these charges in the first place. Why not fine them $200,000? Why not make this decision really affect them financially, which is usually the objective of fines, which are normally imposed on parties or organizations that can only be affected by money due to their wealth? Or you know what, you don't have to listen to me. Don't give them a 20K fine. Don't fine them 200,000. Fine them $2 million each. Break them. Put them out of business. Remove them from the platform and force them to operate in the same place as the rest of us, i.e. the people they are endangering by taking these actions in the first place.
Actually take them out financially. I would love that. Look, they live in a mansion, yes, sure, but their whole life is a rental. So if they were fined that big, they wouldn't be able to continue living that lifestyle. But it's almost like these ramifications aren't really about teaching anyone a lesson, but just like, oh, we did something. Leave us alone now. It's pathetic. Fun fact, I was thinking it was just us non-celebrities who were mad about this, but Ariana Grande actually called out these TikTokers indirectly. Did we really need to go to… Saddle Ranch so badly, that we couldn't have waited out the deadly pandemic?
Like we all really need to put on our cowgirl boots and ride a mechanical bull that bad. It's...did we all need that Instagram post so bad? Some of them responded in a somewhat empty manner. Like, "Oh, yeah. She's fair, whatever. Blah, blah, blah." But for some reason, Bryce Hall retaliated. She's not wrong, but she seems unnecessary. Yes. Yes. It is not necessary to mention a specific group, especially when there are other people doing it, because I knew that TikTokers have a large audience. I knew a lot of people would agree, because there are a lot of people who hate TikTokers, especially.
Yeah, but a lot of people who... I mean, obviously it was like a marketing move, and good for them, but they're not wrong. Imagine thinking that Ariana Grande needs your influence, Bryce Hall, a TikTok person. I don't know why someone with over a million followers on TikTok pretends that her million followers are nothing more than a million children. Any brand deal Bryce Hall has gotten in her life is because the brand wants Bryce to convince her fans to convince her parents to make a purchase. Bryce Hall isn't actually famous. She is worthless outside of the internet and never will be because she has no talent.
I don't think Ariana Grande really needs help in that area, but that's just my assessment. The morality of putting people at risk of contracting COVID-19 is one thing, but seeing people violate clearly organized guidelines, or even laws, and then be criminally charged for doing so, is insane. It's absurd that these are the lengths people will go to to spread COVID. It's not that influencers are mean to each other, or tweet, or make drama. These are... they are criminals. They were criminally charged. Although they are not violent criminals, it is clear that they are doing much more damage than any person could do with a gun.
So yes, of course, I'm glad that the government is cracking down on this kind of behavior. Of course, I don't think they're cracking down hard enough. I'm certainly not a law and order supporter, but I do believe in the power of money. Break them. If TikTok isn't going to remove them from the platform, do it yourself. But unfortunately, no action taken after the fact fixes the problem. These parties happened. COVID has probably already definitely spread. These kids are already thinking, "Oh, wow. It can't be a big deal."I mean, who is a kid going to listen to, Bryce Hall or Dr.
Fauci? Don't answer this question. It hurts, I know. The impact of spreading COVID to each other is one thing, but it's impossible to measure the impact they're having on spreading the idea that "COVID-19 isn't real" to kids. It's frightening. Charli D'Amelio. She is the most popular girl on TikTok. I really don't consider it an exaggeration to say that she is the most popular girl on the Internet. Unlike the men and women I've talked about so far, Charli D'Amelio is a girl. She is still just a child, which makes her internet fame even more notable. I'm not going to blame a 16-year-old girl who is dragged by her family into doing things that are completely irresponsible during a pandemic.
I'm going to blame her family. I'm here to blame her parents and all the adults involved for not just going on vacation to the Bahamas, because posting TikToks is too hard for them. No, I'm not kidding. I'll get to that in a second. But also their response to the situation, which is so emblematic of the frivolity with which they treat all of this. So, yeah, Charli D'Amelio's parents and her group of friends decided to take a trip to The Bahamas, traveling from the current COVID capital of the world, Los Angeles, to The Bahamas, which is relatively fine.
That's a lot. But if that's not bad enough, they were actually trying to cover up the incident this entire time. I mean, it's understandable why, but that's very shady. That didn't stop anyone from finding out, though, because fans stumbled upon the D'Amelios and her group of friends in the Bahamas and started posting photos and TikToks with them. On top of that, people started looking at the rest of Charli's group, looking at travel photos, and quickly put two and two together. These people left the United States and went on vacation to the islands. Now, this whole thing was doubly ridiculous because Charli was literally lecturing people about not doing exactly this kind of thing.
Also, if you're using this time to hang out with your friends since you don't have school, please... I'm asking you. Please stop being so inconsiderate of others, because you might think, "Oh, this isn't going to affect me. There's no... It's not that bad. Whatever." You're thinking, "Oh, you're a teenager. You're immune." For example, you are putting other people at risk of harm and suffering. Once they were finally caught, the adults involved went on a paparazzi tour. Her father, Marc D'Amelio, defended Charli, which... Okay, cool, but he didn't take responsibility either. First of all, blame Charli... It was a family vacation.
Yes. She is 16 years old, so she has no say in where we go. Guys, we can put it on. But if he also acknowledges that she had nothing to say about it, then how does he not see how wrong it is to take a child who can't really object to this and put him under so much scrutiny for her foolish decision? We did what we had to do and we left. Sorry, a vacation is the last thing anyone needs to do right now. If you somehow think you're entitled to a vacation, I guess instead of going to her head, the money Charli earned just went to her parents' heads, which is crazy, even though they didn't even it's theirs.
Corona is real and people should take it seriously. Yes. We left the spotlight and went to a place where there was very, very little Corona, but we take it seriously and want to protect other people. A trip to the Bahamas is not something anyone takes seriously. You can say what you want, but what you did is not going to change. His words are so empty at this point. She could also be lip-syncing, like Charli does in all of her TikToks. Noah Beck, who... Fun fact. Noah Beck: neither Blake Gray nor Bryce Hall. These are all different people.
No, I don't understand how this works either, but he was one of the many people who decided to accompany Charli's parents on that trip, and he reiterated Marc's strange talking points, that this vacation was somehow necessary. I think, especially in the business that we're in, I think it's... You need some time to unplug a little bit, you know? Yes. This business is convincing millions of little girls to follow you because you wear shorts and gyrate. To quote one of the world's leading philosophers: "That must be tremendously difficult for you." Also, can the paparazzi stop paying attention to these people?
I mean, half the time, these TikTok stars call themselves the paparazzi because, as I pointed out, they are indistinguishable from each other and no one would recognize them on the street. But other than that, let's stop pretending that these people are convincing enough to be interesting in an impromptu interview. Honestly, what I think irritates me about all of this is the right of these TikTok stars to think that their vacation is more important than the safety of the lives of those around them. It's a stark contrast to people who are trying to decide whether or not they will travel to visit their loved ones or attend their loved one's funerals, and they can't even do that.
The implication that they had to leave is crazy. There are people who have to work and there are people who have to take care of their sick and dying family members. There are people who have to look for some type of daycare to be able to work outside the home and cannot because of this pandemic. They can't because they follow the same rules that you are breaking or circumventing. Charli's parents should be ashamed of themselves, along with Noah Beck and all the other influencers who came along for the ride. Not only for being irresponsible, but you should be ashamed of yourself for fooling yourself into thinking that you somehow work hard enough to justify a trip to the Bahamas.
And they should really be ashamed of themselves for setting Charli up for so much social media backlash over something that she, and I'm directly quoting her father, had nothing to say about it. As for the TikTok section of this video, like I said, I'm disappointed in celebrities, but I'm very distrustful of these TikTok stars and their crazy efforts and accomplishments to normalize COVID insecurity in the minds of untold millions of people. children. Action needs to be taken against these people in some way, shape or form. Ah, for the third part. Maybe the one you were waiting for.
I have a zero-tolerance policy for celebrities who violate these COVID-19 guidelines, and I have even less tolerance than that for TikTok stars, but YouTube? I am indignant. I'm furious, to say the least. That's because this time I'm inside the circle. I know exactly how much money these people make. I know exactly why they are making the decision to collaborate and travel, instead of just staying home like everyone else is trying to do. I know why they're doing it. It's for views. There is no thought process, not even self-preservation. There are only views. A single-celled organism that feeds on influence would make the same decision that these YouTubers are making.
But more than anything, I think the YouTubers' reaction to all of this has shown how fake they all are. Well, many of them are. Let me back up. I mean, of course, I'm not fake. Sorry, I was just making sure my hair was literally perfectly placed. There are many YouTube channels. I would venture to say that most YouTube channels are doing well under COVID-19, even the big ones with a lot of people, and that surprised me. Like the H3 podcast. It was on your podcast. Not a single COVID-19 suggestion was violated. I was safe. They were safe.
You can still get views without killing everyone in your town. There is a lot of beautiful content from dedicated people on this website who are still pushing it despite these new guidelines, which, if I'm honest, are nothing more than inconvenient if your work is already at home, anyway. But as for people who value opinions on human life... They have built their entire platform from nothing. No substance. Dumb pipers. There are a lot of people I would put in this category, but the NELK Boys and Jake Paul have to be tied for the number one spot. They create content that embraces their own stupidity and is accepted by people looking for cutting-edge videos to watch.
No one thinks they're really talented, funny, or interesting. Sometimes people just want to turn off their brain and watch dumb people do dumb things. That's why they have followers and views. They provide for fools, even when they don't try. Maybe they have a natural talent at something. While most of their content is relatively harmless, if not irritating, some of them have decided that COVID-19 is not a warning to slow down. It's an opportunity to make things even better. Given that this involves endangering untold numbers of people, I find it unacceptable. Now, when it comes to the NELK Boys, this YouTuber collective has always built their platform on being nasty and harassing other people, but the way they've adapted their content strategy to take COVID into account...
Holy shit. They did a live merch launch in front of a Jersey Shore home, where 1,000 people reportedly attended. None of them were wearing masks. The police literally had to break this up. I'm really tired of bringing up the fact that the police had to show up to tell rich people to stop being mean. Even though arrests were made, the NELK Boys somehow effortlessly escaped all of this and moved on to their next atrocious performance. The government made a statement about it, and I must say, the phrase "idiotic behavior..." On Monday night, we saw perhaps our most extreme, which by the way, is saying something, and egregious display of idiotic behavior in Coastal Heights .
I vibrate with what this man says. All the facts, without limit, about God, he is not lost, truly, truly. The problem is the NELK Boys, despite escaping that, they just do this over and over again. Come on. Yes. As a curious fact, meetings of more than 10 people are prohibited there. I honestly think what they are doing is more insidious than the other influencers I mentioned. Instead of inviting a bunch of influencer friends, they're using their platform to invite hundreds, if not over a thousand, of their actual fans for nothing more than these strange power moments. It's like they're on some kind of deranged tour right now, during a pandemic.
Now, it got completely out of control when the NELK Boys decided to organize a protest to get people to reopen their gyms. This was submitted by SteveWillDoIt, one of the members of NELK Boys, and posted on his channel. Now this was wrong on multiple levels. Obviously, what they're protesting is crazy and dangerous, but worse, they designed it as some kind of parody of a Black Lives Matter protest. Latino lives matter, gym lives matter. It was too much. YouTube eventually took action against this, completely disabling monetization by removing them from the partner program. They went ahead and backed up their decision with a statement explaining their reasoning.
I'm glad they did this. Honestly, I don't even see this as off-platform behavior, since these things they were doing ended up on their YouTube videos. As for that dumb YouTuber, Jake Paul, I briefly mentioned this first part towards the end of my video about Jake Paul that's on this channel, but he was hosting a music video shoot for his song, Fresh Out of London. In this shoot, he decided to include crowd scenes without masks, because what music video would be complete without them? Obviously, he filmed them without authorization, because why would anyone authorize this during the pandemic?
The mayor of Calabasas came forward and said there would be a zero tolerance policy for this type of behavior, in direct response to what Jake Paul did. Now, during all this time of all these parties and everything, Jake Paul was involving his entire friend group, so it wasn't a surprise that Tanner Fox, who runs in that circle, contracted COVID-19. Well. Yes, we were able to test today and it was positive for COVID. Oh Lord. Well. First of all, can we talk about how the cameraman is sitting a couple feet away from someone who just confirmed that he tested positive and is not wearing a mask?
No wonder... Oh my god. Bro, everyone probably has COVID. Literally everyone probably has COVID-19. Everyone in this video I mentioned has probably, at some point, supposedly had or transmitted COVID-19. The reason I bring this up, not because I feel sorry for Tanner Fox, is because Jake Paul says he's not worried about it. You can even hear a voice in the background saying, "We don't care." Are you worried about that? Not precisely. We do not care. Well. Well, that's good, but I had to call you and let you know. If that's not bad enough, plus the government's reaction, plus the fact that his friends are getting COVID now, Jake Paul starts falling into conspiracy theories about COVID-19.
The Daily Beast confronted him about his decisions to celebrate these holidays and all that nonsense. Jake Paul says COVID-19 is a hoax, specifically saying COVID cases are less than 1% and "I thinkthe disease is a hoax." He went on to compare it to the flu. Now, this is obviously unacceptable. The Verge brought this up and Jake Paul clarified that he had been misquoted. "You misquoted me. He took what I said out of context. It's pretty disturbing, actually, that someone with that kind of power can just post something that's false." However, there's just one small problem. It was recorded in audio format.
COVID cases and deaths are at less than 1 %. I think the disease is a hoax. Do you think the disease is a hoax? I mean, it has killed about 260,000 people so far this year. Yes, also the flu. Shortly after, he was caught on a passing yacht. this hookah. In other words, passing by the Corona. He really seems to be on the edge. Jake Paul is going somewhere very quickly, and I don't know where he is, but he deserves what's coming to him. get COVID-19 and survive I totally agree with everyone I mentioned in this video who is unsure, gets COVID-19 and survives The problem is when we start looking at how they are spreading it to everyone in their life. .Not that this is some kind of conspiracy.
Not that this is a possibility. You can simply look at Los Angeles' COVID cases and see the results of your actions. For example, the behavior of Jake Paul and the NELK Boys represents a different kind of approach to COVID than other people I've talked about so far. Instead of pretending to be sorry when they get caught and then trying to hide it all, just... Decide: "What if I explicitly act like COVID isn't real?" At this point, anti-intellectualism is just a choice to be stupid. They are choosing to be stupid. Seeing the sheer size of the NELK Boys' gatherings and the fact that Jake Paul already has people on his team contracting COVID, that is clearly the most dangerous approach of all.
Jake Paul and the NELK Boys are just... It's very rare that I don't have positive qualities to say about someone. You have no redeeming qualities as a human being if you can laugh at something that gets people killed, if you can spread misinformation that gets people killed, if you can encourage people to protest something that could potentially get more killed. people. Infuriating isn't even a strong enough word to describe how I feel about it. David Dobrik and the Vlog Squad used to be inseparable and at the height of their popularity they were inseparable from the trending tab.
David Dobrik doesn't currently upload content here, but it's no exaggeration to say that he was the most popular vlogger. The Vlog Squad is the group of people that David would feature in his vlogging content and they all have social media profiles and channels of their own. They're basically like a supergroup of influencers, which was great until the pandemic, when large groups of people shouldn't be walking around town, but why would that stop them? No, he actually stopped David Dobrik. David Dobrik literally stopped uploading content to YouTube. A lot of people assumed it was social distancing, but honestly, he was just posting a bunch of stuff on TikTok, so clearly nothing was stopping him from creating content.
But from what I understand, David Dobrik's presence on TikTok means he stays home. I haven't seen him at any giant meeting. He hasn't released any kind of giant David Dobrik-style collaborations. I mean, either he's actually social distancing or he's just really good at maintaining a social media presence that makes it seem like he is. And I will accept it. I haven't seen him running without a mask. As I understand it, no one has caught him at any of these influencer parties. I mean, he even talked to Nickelodeon about the importance of staying home. I hope you stay safe and healthy and stay inside.
I know it sucks, but it's the most important thing we could do right now. The few TikToks I saw where he was, he was social distancing. To be clear, I'm not necessarily proud of David Dobrik for doing the bare minimum to prevent seniors and other at-risk people from dying from COVID-19. And I appreciate that he's doing it. Do you feel Me? Meanwhile, the rest of his team just acts like this pandemic doesn't exist. I don't know what's wrong with these people. Jason Nash just posts video after video of them running in groups, hanging out at each other's houses, etc.
People yell at them over and over again and nothing happens. It is never really recognized. I think what really showed me that these people don't care was the fact that they threw a party at David Dobrik's house. David didn't seem to be there. I don't think anyone saw it there or had any footage of it. So, it's clear that the Vlog Squad, at least, despite their squeaky-clean image, has the exact same attitude as everyone else I've mentioned in this video so far, which is one of "rules for you but not me" ". I don't care if you literally die." No wonder LA is a COVID hotspot.
It's thanks to the Vlog Squad and everyone else I've mentioned. Congratulations, you're COVID-19. Honestly, the collaborations, especially those of a Vlog Squad-ish nature, they were previously considered healthy and organic. But this pandemic has really just shown how motivated they are by money. I mean, David is okay. His TikTok is really thriving. It's okay if he kicks his friends out of his content, which he did. But the Vlog Squad, if they're trying to maintain their current level of money, they basically have to keep collaborating with each other because they, especially Jason Nash, don't have enough followers. or views on their own.
And it's like, why not settle for less now and be like the untold number of people who have had to make sacrifices, if not just in their comfort, then in their actual finances to continue to stay afloat? Jason Nash on Vlog Squad, making less money won't even stop them from being rich. So if people closer to the poverty line than Jason Nash can do it, why can't they? The Vlog Squad represents possibly one of my biggest pet peeves in all of this, which is people claiming to be in a quarantine group. Sure, I'm always hanging out with my friends and we're constantly going to each other's houses, but we're all quarantined together.
And that being said, in theory, I could claim to be in a quarantine group with anyone on YouTube. When he appears in the next MrBeast video, know that even though I flew from Texas to go see him, he is part of my quarantine group and we just quarantined together. It's frustrating to see people who don't even need to make as much money as they do to survive, choosing that money just to support their lavish lifestyle while other people have to figure out where they're going to find rent. The last person I have here is the one who annoys me the most.
And that's saying a lot because everyone in this video has made me see different shades of red. Dr. Mike, well known on YouTube not only for being a popular channel, but also for being a real doctor. Is he an influencer? Sure, but he also took the Hippocratic Oath. He literally promised to do no harm. At the very least, the other people I've mentioned in this video are like unqualified idiots who do anything in life other than record 15 second clips of themselves. But this is a licensed medical professional. And it turns out that he took a rather hypocritical oath.
Dr. Mike had posted several videos. He would even tell video after video about COVID-19 and how to be safe and do things the right way. Dr. checks the media about the coronavirus. Dr. Mike, a day in the life, COVID-19. Dr. Mike interviews Dr. Fauci about COVID-19. Yes, this is real. In fact, he spoke to Dr. Fauci. As someone who is on the front lines as a family doctor, what can we do? Not only was he telling people to be safe, he was literally the poster boy for proper handling of COVID-19 on YouTube. I was so fucking ready for COVID.
But it turns out that by COVID-ready, I guess he meant ready to spread it to everyone because he got caught at this weird yacht party. By the way, what's up with people on yachts? For his birthday party in Miami. He was in group photos with everyone without a mask. Not only was he socially distancing, he was actually touching the people there. During the 0.2 seconds he had the mask on, it wasn't even on properly. He traveled to Miami, which by the way was in a state of emergency due to COVID. Obviously, this took people by surprise and the criticism became too much to ignore.
The mainstream media was criticizing him. His own fans were criticizing him. He was stranger than fiction and disturbing in his own right. Then Dr. Mike appears with a four-minute apology video. First he claims that it was actually a surprise party for him. And that's great, but if that's the case, why not just say, "Oh, thank you very much" and then socially distance and wear a mask? When I went down to Miami, my friends surprised me with a private boat as a belated birthday present. And I was very grateful. I was excited. At the same time, I was a little cautious and nervous because we are in the middle of a pandemic.
In fact, he actually misuses information from the CDC to make an excuse for why he wasn't wearing a mask. So I went to the CDC website and checked the guidelines on wearing masks during water activities. This was a guide on what to do when swimming, not sailing. By the way, for a doctor to deliberately provide misleading information about COVID-19 to his audience as an excuse for why he wasn't being safe, that's legitimately appalling. Then he lies about the capacity of the ship. I checked the local boat capacity guidelines, so we were well below that. I mean, it was obviously photographed with more than eight people there.
You do this horrible risk assessment and decide that, actually, it's okay. I am young, I have no health problems. I live alone so as not to put anyone else at risk. I will follow proper quarantine and testing protocols when I return to New York. We are following all test ship travel and capacity guidelines. So I thought this level of risk was okay. You can do literally everything he just said, you can literally be everything he is, and you can still get COVID-19 and die or transmit it to a loved one and they can die. That's the only thought process that should go into unnecessary meetings.
He claims that he was only wrong because it made him look disingenuous, not necessarily wrong for the action. Even considering following the rules as the guidelines that are set, it doesn't matter. I messed up, I really did, and I need to do better. The reason I say this is because of the impact of my trip. The impact may damage the medical message I have been conveying since the beginning of this pandemic. What I can say is that I will strive to do better. I'm a human, I was wrong here. It's true, I really did. This has been a mistake.
Being human and making mistakes is great, anyway. But in a medical profession, that is often disastrous. Plus, he was definitely trying to hide the video. The man has 6.7 million subscribers and posted it on a channel with 75,000 and likes are disabled. Dr. Mike is trash. He represents one of the many celebrities and influencers who are leveraging social capital gained by pretending to care about COVID-19 while simultaneously living a lifestyle that completely ignores COVID-19 safe practices. He wants us to praise him for being like us, but he also wants to live in a way that we can't even get away with and that would probably end up wiping out half our families.
Honestly, he's the last person I would have assumed on YouTube would be some kind of slime ball, but honestly, he's worse than a slime ball. A medical professional, who not only displays this behavior, but then excuses it. Clearly, he is more of an influencer than a doctor. So people like him are disgusting. People like Tanner Mongeau are arguing. James Charles, you are disgusting. Larry, you are disgusting. Fun fact, go back, you're disgusting. On the weekend, Justin Bieber. The people I really like, I honestly don't care. I have zero tolerance for what you did. It's disgusting. Everyone who woke up and chose their temporary comfort over the safety and lives of everyone around them is disgusting and no genuine apology, fake or otherwise, will excuse what they did.
So not only has COVID-19 been the thing that has really driven home the realization that influencers, and I guess everyone else, live in a completely different world, but interestingly enough, it has also been the thing that has brought these influencers down. and bring them back to reality. . And I find that fascinating, in a way, kind of sad. That's a super succinct way to conclude this video. But unfortunately, for me personally that's not where this story ends. I don't think people realize how difficult it is to sift through story after story of people behaving this way. I don't think people realizeIt is jarring at the fundamental level to see one person after another care more about their temporary happiness than the lives of other people.
For lack of better words, it destroys you inside. How sweet, right? This is day 10... I apologize. I'm trying to get over this, but this is the 10th hospital I've been to. Drew, we love you. I love you too. Thank you. Alright. Much more. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I started making this video in November and it was going to be like any of the rest of my videos. It was just a normal topic for me, but halfway through, I was informed that both of my grandparents contracted COVID-19. Obviously, they are in an age range where they are at risk.
It was extremely sudden. It was to the point that it was the same day they suspected they might have it until my grandfather said he couldn't breathe. So at that moment, upon receiving that news, this video didn't feel to me like just a topic or a point that I could make. Suddenly, every point about someone choosing a party over my grandparents' lives basically went straight through me. It became impossible to make this video in the state I was in. It's only here today because I was lucky enough that both my grandfather and grandmother recovered. They are fine.
They were lucky. They were in a range where they could have died. Many people have lost loved ones to COVID-19 and I have not. So I don't even have the words or I suppose the ability to express my remorse for those who have lost their loved ones. That said, I think there are many people like me who have almost lost a loved one. I don't know if people realize that that's traumatic in itself. It doesn't make me feel good all of a sudden now that they're still here. That deep cut in me when I realized that I could potentially have to tell my little brothers who are still children that Grandma and Grandpa are dead.
That empty, dark realization I had made me realize that my dad might not have parents anymore. I still felt it. So regardless of whether or not people are literally dropping dead from COVID-19, it's still devastating everyone's lives. And if you can't make a decision, if you can't find enough empathy to understand that this is the reality of millions and millions of people who are indirectly affected by this, in addition to the people who are directly affected. , besides people who are dead, if you can't do that, you need to log out of social media, you need to talk to someone outside of your friend group, you need to do whatever it is you need to do.
Fix yourself so you can become someone who cares.
