Suddenly an angel of the Lord came and appeared to Zechariah on the right side of the altar Zechariah was confused and scared when he saw the angel but the angel told him do not be afraid Zechariah God has heard your prayers your wife Elizabeth will have a son and you must name him John your birth will make you very happy and many people will be happy your son will be a great servant of the Lord he should never drink wine or beer and the power of the Holy Spirit will be with him from the moment he is born John will guide many people in Israel to return to the Lord your God will go before the Lord with the same power and spirit that Elijah had and because of John parents will be more considerate of their children and people who now disobey God will begin to think as they should.

You didn't know that I would be in my father's house but they didn't understand what he meant. Jesus returned to Nazareth with his parents and obeyed them. Jesus got into Simon's boat and asked him to move it a little further from the shore. Then Jesus sat in the boat to teach the crowd. Jesus came to a town where there was a man who had leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he knelt on the ground before Jesus and prayed to him, Lord, you have the power to Heal me if you only wanted to. Jesus put his hand on him and said, "If I want, now you are fine. Immediately the man's leprosy disappeared." Jesus told him, "Don't tell anyone about this, but go and show him. Go to the priest and then take an offering to the temple just as Moses commanded and everyone will know that you have been healed. The news about Jesus continued to spread.

Large crowds came to hear him teach and to be healed of his infirmities, but Jesus came often. some place where he could be alone and pray one day some Pharisees and experts in the law of Moses sat listening to Jesus teach that they had come from every town in Galilee in Judea and from Jerusalem God had given Jesus the power to heal the sick and some Some came bringing a crippled man on a stretcher who tried to put him inside the house and put him in front of Jesus but due to the crowd they could not get in to Jesus so they went up to the roof where they removed some tiles and let the carpet on the middle of the room when Jesus saw how much faith they had he said to the lame man my friend your sins are forgiven the Pharisees and the experts began to argue Jesus must think that he is God only God can forgive sins Jesus knew what they were thinking and said because they think it is easier for me to tell this lame man that his sins are forgiven or tell him to get up and walk but now you will see that the son of man has the right to forgive sins. here on earth Jesus then said to the man, get up, take your stretcher and walk home at once.

The man stood up in front of everyone, took his stretcher and went home, giving thanks to God. Everyone was amazed and praised God for what he had done. They looked surprised and said we have seen a great miracle today. Later Jesus went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting in the place to pay taxes. Jesus said to him, come with me. Jesus responded that healthy people do not need a doctor but sick I did not come to invite good people to turn to God I came to invite sinners some people said to Jesus the followers of John often pray and go without eating and the followers of the Pharisees did the same but your disciples never they go without eating eating or drinking Jesus told them the friends of a groom do not go without eating while he is still with them but the time will come when it will be taken away from them then they will go without eating Jesus then told them these sayings that no one uses a piece of new cloth to mend old clothes the patch would shrink and make the hole even bigger no one pours new wine into old skins the new wine would swell and burst the old skins then the wine would be lost and the new skins would be ruined the wine must be put only in new wineskins no one wants new wine after drinking old wine they say that old wine is better Luke 6 one Saturday when Jesus and his disciples were walking through some wheat fields the disciples gathered some wheat and removed the husks from their hands and They began to eat the grain some Pharisees said why are you gathering green leaves on the Sabbath?

You're not supposed to do that. Jesus replied: Surely you have read what David did when he and his followers were hungry, he entered the house of God and took the sacred breads that only the priests were supposed to eat, not only did he eat some himself but he even gave some to his followers Jesus ended by saying that the son of man is lord of the Sabbath on another Sabbath Jesus was teaching in a Jewish meeting place and a man with a crippled right hand was there some Pharisees and teachers of the law of Moses kept looking at Jesus to see if he would heal the man they did this because they wanted to accuse Jesus of doing something wrong Jesus knew what they were thinking so he told the man to stand up where everyone could see him and the man stood up, then Jesus asked people on the Sabbath whether we should do good or bad deeds whether we saved someone's life or destroyed it after having looked at everyone around them.

The man stretched out his hand, he did so, and his bad hand was completely cured. The teachers of the Pharisees were furious and began to tell each other what we could do with Jesus. He came out of it and healed everyone Jesus looked at his disciples and said God will bless you poor people his kingdom belongs to you God will bless you hungry people you will have something to eat God will bless you people who are crying will laugh God will bless them when others hate them and they will not have Nothing to do withyou God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you because you are followers of the Son of Man a long time ago your own people You did the same with the prophets, so when this happens to you, be happy and jump for joy, you will have a great reward in heaven, but you rich people are in trouble, you have already had an easy life, you well-fed people are in trouble. problems you will go hungry you who laugh now you are in trouble you are going to cry and you will cry you will have problems when everyone says good things about you that is what your own people said about those prophets who told lies this is what I tell everyone who meets me listen to love your enemies and be good to all who hate you, ask God to bless anyone who curses you and pray for all who are cruel to you, if someone slaps you on the cheek, do not stop that person. to slap yourself on the other cheek if someone wants to take your coat don't try to keep your shirt give it to everyone who asks you and don't ask for what they took from you back treat others the way you want to be They will treat you if you love only someone who loves you.

Will God praise you that even sinners love the people who love them? If you are nice only to someone who is nice to you. He will be pleased with you because even sinners are kind to people who are sinners. be kind to them if you lend money only to someone you think will return it to you, will God be pleased? you because even sinners lend to sinners because they think they will get it all back but love your enemies and be good to them lend without waiting If they give you your money back, then you will get a great reward and you will be the true children of God in heaven.

He is good even to people who are ungrateful and cruel. Have mercy on others just as your father has compassion on you. Jesus said, do not judge others. others and God will not judge don't be harsh on others and God will not be harsh you forgive others and God will forgive you if you give to others, you will receive a full amount in return, it will be packaged, shaken and poured into your lap the way How you treat others is how you will also be treated Jesus used some sayings while talking to people, he said can a blind person lead another blind person?

Do not worry about me. I am NOT good enough for you to come into my house and I am certainly not worthy of coming to you. Just say the word and my servant will recover. They saw people carrying the body of the widow's only son. Many people from the town were walking with her. When the Lord saw the woman, he took pity on her and told her not to cry. Jesus approached and touched the stretcher on which the people were carrying the child. dead they stopped and Jesus said young man get up the boy sat down and began to speak Jesus then returned him to his mother everyone was scared and praised God they said great prophet is here with us God has come to his people news about Jesus spread around all over Judea and everywhere in that part of the country John's followers told John everything that was said about Jesus so he sent two of them to ask the Lord if You are the one we should be looking for or should we wait for someone else when these messengers came to Jesus said that John the Baptist sent us to ask if it is you who we should be looking for or are we supposed to wait for someone else at that time.
