The Faith Vs The Pizza | Versus

Jun 01, 2021
so I pledged

faith

a while ago, but I realized that the premise of

faith

is very similar to another episode of Gumball, the

pizza

and well, a versus was born. Scientists have discovered a completely new color, a mix of blue and red called bled and here. is on television for the first time starting with faith this is an episode focused on Alan the six after the photo the storm the saint the traitor and the vision begins with many of the characters losing color they overlap in many jokes that makes sense given their current circumstances, from seeing a new color to eating cat litter that looked like a box of cereal.
the faith vs the pizza versus
It is a very strange occurrence as a city begins to slowly deteriorate in color. All of these first scenes are building up and some cases are happening inside. Elmore likes cleaning up graffiti recycling or attending nursing homes that were run solely by a child and since then the entire city has been slowly descending into chaos. What I like about this episode is that, unlike some of the others, this episode establishes a lot of legitimacy and credibility towards Alan's good deeds, while he was shown to be kind in other episodes and, in fact, in the st . defiance of his kindness this actually does a better job because the citizens of Elmore depended on his kindness it was just a nice and comforting implication this could be incredibly short-sighted and vulnerable to situations like this in fact it's like when we learned that Crocker was a source of fairy magic in The Fairly OddParents.

More Interesting Facts About,

the faith vs the pizza versus...

It makes sense in a way, but it leaves you open to major interruptions like what happened in that episode when it was revealed that some of these scenes are very well done, like the graffiti scene at first glance. I didn't think there was a pole there but if you look closely the pole is carefully textured to give the illusion of not being there and only being exposed due to a shadow and that attention to detail is praised at least by me, you too . has the scene where one of the police officers, since his corn and the atmosphere are so hot, appears in front of his eyes, it's such an intense scene that he almost misses the spot with the nonchalant way Gumball and Darwin react when your world loses order before your eyes from Jeff's voice direction, this corn guy here, really sold the scene as important, but anyway, before we get to the source of this, let's talk about

pizza

, So why is pizza similar to faith?
the faith vs the pizza versus
We'll get to that in just a moment, but let me set the scene, the entire Watterson family bursts into the living room to rant about their day. No, this is not the worst. Another episode where they rant and find out who had the worst day. They argue about who is going to do it. dinner and even that is fun and use not having any of that weak sauce. Armand knows how the opening scene sets the tone for the family to be ultra, an ik epithet that serves as a lesson in what they would eventually do to Larry as That's the crux of this episode, as you may or may not know it, Larry He's a rock who works almost every job in Elmore, he's a cashier in one episode and a delivery boy in the next, so of course because he's doing almost every job in Elmore.

They take advantage of him a lot, there have been episodes going back to the lazier ones where Gumball and Darwin in a SpongeBob and Patrick type style basically ruined Larry's life to make him lazy so he could compete with his father, in addition to the horrible implications that I just placed it there, Larry. is practically the butt of many jokes, unless it's Richard, who they are neck and neck with and have been shown to be great rivals in some ways with 1/5 margarita 1/5 vegetarian 1/5 surf 1/5 grass and 1/5 mega meat, neither quint can be cooked in the same oven, but must be an identical temperature upon delivery, as you can see, they are horrible for Larry, they require a ridiculous amount of work for very little reward and that leads Larry to contemplate everything he is doing is worth it and will cost $9.99.
Would you like to add a tip? No, no, does it taste good? No sir. I mean, do you want to pay a tip for the service and in compensation for the half hour order he just named? Do I always have another option? Also, this is one of those Gumbel episodes that stays in one place, like the transformations, everything happens in one place, even though it logically makes sense to the story. I think it's a little tiring to see the same backdrop. A lot of the episode they try to break up with subtle hints of chaos outside as you see things like the progression from a police car to a burning police car, but it doesn't help much.
What's important to note here is that all of the characters are very angry and don't care too much how they come out and that's a great perspective at least when you set up one of these stories in an episode, however, let's go back to faith, going back to faith that the episode takes us to a fairly monochromatic environment. I love how it gives a little tension with its camera angles that go from your usual shots. The more adventurous angles really helped with the cinematography. A reference to Jurassic Park and Gumball and Darwin. kidnapped by the Boy Scouts because you see Alan was also in charge of looking after the Boy Scouts, it really makes you think about when he had time to go to school, there's something about a group of unruly kids with four tractors and pants color. pencils tied to sticks hunting down any intruders to join your crew just fits the gumball amulet.
I have to say it though, faith is not a date. Fun episode. There's a very funny joke of Rocky trying to find a woman in gray who he met. on a dating app, but the comedy levels of this episode are pretty low and that's okay, while funny equals money and Gumball is known for being funny, the way they built the story leads us more into the mystery than comedy and I would prefer they had a little less. that oversteps its mark with comedy and ruins your immersion in the mystery and the point of waiting to see Gumball find out who's causing all this mess, you're supposed to earn them by learning the skills like technically yes, did you technically learn to tie? knots, it's a shame that they didn't change their self-defense games either, what is that, a baseball bat, okay, they finally reached the summit, which with a very nice touch shows us the incredible sadness that Allen can achieve, which is the opposite of the extreme happiness he has known because in a sense it really makes his character much more powerful than his figure would have you believe.
In fact, this intense negative energy is so powerful that at least Gum, although severely pessimistic and said to a cartoonish degree due to the sheer amount of sadness that Allen radiates means that Allen is the sole provider of the joyful nature and carefree Elmore. I guess when you take the gum out of a show because we know that while it looks happy and colorful, it's filled with a lot of selfish rudeness and pessimistic people, so having Allen so positive that Bennet negates everyone else is really impressive. I also love this shot of a legless balloon on a swing that he can control.
We'll get to why Allen has lost faith once we reach the pizza, so if you remember earlier, I posed the question how these episodes are similar. Both present the aspect of a character as the only source of something, while Allen is the only source of optimism and happiness and volunteering at Elmore Larry is the ideal option. guy with many jobs and therefore when he is no longer working it leads to catastrophic results, however, as with faith, the same logic applies here for a person to be the main source of something to that point, it is quite Silly, but in a good way when it comes to Elmore and then they start saying why they're mad, starting with Nicole before she does what I'm going to do.
I want you to know that this is not your fault, you are just doing your job, but someone has to suffer for it. what happened and unfortunately you are the only one here, as you see here. Larry, being the messenger, requires a lot of verbal punishment even though he is just doing his job. I'm sure if he could, he would do it for a much lower price, but that's his. job, he doesn't determine the price, this episode does a very good job of portraying customers taking advantage of staff and employees just following orders given to them by their boss or in this case Larry's boss.
The same goes for Richard. be in a more debatable way and also with gumbo darwin and anna are together, the most important thing to note is that with each flashback he always asks for a tip like with Richard in the phone call, everyone rudely in their own way not only denies it. Word of advice, but the rating, Larry, yes this makes the family seem very misguided and very rude. However, this is an aspect of Gumball that I enjoy. They're not perfect, and like anyone, they often overlook moments when they could. I've handled a situation with a little more tact.
What I think this episode does better than faith is that we actually get to see Larry broken in faith. You don't see why Allen was sad in the first place. They are also in the living room. dining area one second and in the next scene, Gumball and Darwin are outside the house investigating, this would be a simple solution; right along the way, ask them to remember a negative scene with Alan, something like hey what happened here, oh that reminds me of something that happened with a lien today and you can show a scene where Gumball is completely wrong, a little thing So it makes sense for the story since faith does not depend greatly on this mysterious element, but speaking of that, let's finish. faith ends faith, we learn a little more about Alan, no matter how hard he tries, the world will never be perfect, we have to get back on the horse because we need people like you to do all that work so that people like me It's not It was necessary that his former never-ending quest was to make the world perfect, however, we can finally sit down and talk about his dynamic with Gumball.
There are a large number of episodes where Gumball blatantly goes all over Allen and takes full advantage of his tolerance and kindness, even here he does the bare minimum to show his appreciation, often having to be forced to show any form of kindness. and i really enjoy scenes like this because they don't come up much, if they did then gumball wouldn't be a comedy show it would be more of a story based shell that gumball should stay away from so the characters can sit down and really recognize how they feel it's a tactic that Gumball uses precisely to good effect, yes, Gumball and Allen would still have a lot of compatibility problems, but what makes this work is a little less than in other episodes, they like each other more here than in the same one where Gumball went crazy on Allen, they have a song that explains that well, life sucks most of the time, there are moments when you wonder how bright the future is and if it's worth it and you start to wonder if Allen would find the strength to have optimism after this song.
It's also in these close-ups that you can really appreciate the level of detail done on Allen. in black and white I love the little things like Allen's rubbery texture here and his mouth is never fully colored or shaded in the song, although it's pretty depressing for a show that covers his sad and angry parts a little better, it gets the job done and also his singing isn't bad that last shot will always be one of my favorites made in gumball they end faith on a happy note so let's finish the pizza so now we get to the main part of the episode now that we establish that larry is being really mistreated , the family enters our apocalyptic Elmore.
I must say it looks very well made. I love how debris never gets in the way and the kind of location of the fires also acts as a light in the sense that we can see both. criminals are still criminals, but also the police force became criminal, it is something underestimated seen as the family. First I replace the seat of the police force trying to restore order, but as an accountant of the police force I feel like I have heard this reference somewhere, but not Sure, but anyway the donut sheriff is as corrupt as you saw and then the episode loses its focus for a moment.
This happens a little in certain episodes, but here it's super weird because Richard temporarily goes crazy trying to save everything he can before. Gumball points out the lobsters and I know it's a reference, but I see no reason why Richard would want to change his personality so drastically. Except for our silly joke. I guess maybe you know you're the boss but for something that's not dumb and obvious I'm not principal brown anymore I am we can see the school kids dressed in popke lipstick riot gear insert reference from Mad Max here now, while the age difference here isn't as dramatic.
I enjoyed how Nicole pitched sir. Brown through a windshield, it reminded me of something about the crude Ordos Def Jam video games, there is also that charm of the instincts ofsurvival that the family has and I would really enjoy that part, then we see Larry and they apologize for their previous behavior, but that was only 20 minutes ago and that's all the time it took us to realize our mistake, like in the other episode , Faith in this episode solidifies Larry even though he would get a much better representation of what it's like to be Larry later on.
I love this scene. It was shown that the lady worked as an accountant for the police force, our pear man and a pest control guy. Now you might be wondering, "Waiting, wasn't it a mistake?" Part of pest control. You can see why she didn't keep her job for long. Tip him even though the economy has gone to shit when he stands by Gumball's actions in faith that he is not personally affected, as well as a relationship with Larry that is similar to that of The Robinsons, except Mr. Robinson is much more hostile to Gumball than Larry, but what I mean by this is that even though they are not friends, at least they are aware of each other and Larry is at least affected by him. fact that Gumball is a nuisance.
The episode ends with Larry putting on a popka lipstick with a tight tip and that was the pizza, so to speak. two doors in front of me and I have the option to choose which is the best episode because they are both really good. I would say Pizza has a clearer story with a logical progression for the most part and we get to see a side of Larry that we didn't know yet because it's more Allan episodes than Larry based episodes. I like both, but the pizza barely escapes the wind due to its cohesion, I have to get back to that gumball routine anyway, but in the meantime, if you want to see my other Gumball reviews, click here and if you want to see more verses where I compare Carson episodes, click here.
