Jun 08, 2021
Ah, turns out the

video

and reaction are great, hey, how's it going? This is your naked girl, Jacob, also known as snake boy from 2 to 9, and today I would like to talk about the

title

screen of

video

game

s. While a memorable one can definitely be tied to your experience with a video

game

, whether good or bad, it doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the game's content, but, for example, the bloodborne-style screen is somewhat surprising. I mean, it's still the same. The image they use to promote the game is just a basic menu but that didn't stop me and many other Soul Boys from going in there and killing the scare, it was a really creepy ghost but I think the

title

screens

have a lot of potential , is different. beautiful and creative ways they can present and affect players' experience with a video.

I would like to discuss a few different examples of title

screens

that I think, like video games, Action 3 has breathed very well now that all the introductory material is no longer available. the way we get into the fun stuff buckle up and come with this right for me. Sorry, the classic format of the title screen with a flashy logo and some background animation maybe or some game answers in your case because games that had to make you spend money on something and had to catch your attention, so consider The arcade cabinet with the fanciest side panel and the flashiest title screen to be like the prettiest girl at a prom, everyone wants a chance to dance with her.

More Interesting Facts About,

the art of video game title screens...

The product is obscenity. You look great even at home. Video game consoles became more popular. This type of format for the title screen stayed pretty much the same even though you were already seduced when you bought the Genisys dance. However, that didn't stop developers from creating some. really beautiful and cinematic introductions to their games while still evolving this classic title screen format, that's why I love the title screens of this era like Super Metroid because while it still follows that same style, it did something more cinematic and spooky with music that matches perfectly. the atmosphere created by the dead scientist scene I talked about Super Metroid in my box hour video I talked about it in the written music video surveillance game I'm in love with you the cinematic interest they expanded me with in the ps1 era The minigames start with a small CGI movie and then you are taken to a simple title screen in front of the flat image.

It's funny how it works. Now you get a fancy CGI movie, but in reality you get a very basic title, not all games were like that. this obviously because the focus definitely changed, however unlike my box art videos it was very much, man this is awesome and I got it now, that sucks, not the case with title creams, no They are necessarily better or worse than years ago, we are simply different. I don't feel like I follow a flexible timeline of title screens until now, but not anymore. I just want to talk about different examples of title screens and it doesn't matter.

If the game came out in 1776 or 1876, no game will be as confrontational. I'll separate my examples into four unique categories. change the music and the dog now, these are not hard categories, there will be some crossover between them, for example, most of these examples have music for a night out from really annoying guys, but the games in the music category are especially fantastic and also these are just a small offering of title screens, but I chose the ones that I thought best illustrated my point, so your favorites may not be here and I'm sure some of you will let me know in the comments or on Twitter and then I'm sure others of you will disagree with that person, but then you'll share a glass of milk, share an open-mouth kiss, and figure it out; that's how the internet works, everyone is great trying to step up. my magic rhyme sorry let's go to the first category what I mean by /ui style or I do for the straight guy is a title screen that uses elements or fonts from your game to effectively introduce the player to the universe and game content for the first time. example of this in Goldeneye for the n64 after a veritable barn of an intro movie was greeted with a profile selection screen what are we these confidential spy files oh yeah because it's a spy game where everything explodes when you shoot it, but it's a spy game beyond that and I don't know if this is filling title screen territory or main menu territory, but the game stays consistent with all of Spy Kids by allowing you to filter folders as you like. that you progress through the menus and even have a Phil puzzle in the level for us or thps2 where after a special video of sick rant with the boys they were greeted by a skateboard wheel to spin and make skateboard sounds because it's a game about skateboard, what a weapon, a more recent example of why it would be cheaper, which is a fantastic game by the way.
If you haven't played it, definitely check it out and I don't want to give away too many spoilers, but the game does deal with some hacking type stuff, so the game boots up to an old looking operating system, complete with sounds and clicks like a computer. Dude, that's the immersion starts right when you do it in the game, damn it, video games, you win again, the minimalist approach of a title screen is basically, less is more, something like five, which if you saw my box, our video, you will know that that is my problem. and subscribe.
I love this style of title screen because it really gives the game a second to breathe and slowly let your imagination run wild, but it also often provides gorgeous art or visuals to set the tone. A great example of this is The Last of Us, which if you already know what that game entails, the title offers a brief moment of peace and calm and at the same time is a little unsettling in its ambiguity. Great material, now a springboard. Should I say good boy? That's right folks, we have dog jokes, little dogs, big dogs, gay dogs, fat dogs. all the dogs go to the head a subcategory of this minimalist category I would call perfect because what is more minimal than almost no title screen, a good example of this is the brain and the interior where they both have their logo on the screen but the game. just start from there, start running towards the right stage when you are in the game.
Another example that I would consider to be in this perfect subcategory, although it is not exactly the same, would be the Grand Theft Auto trilogy on PS2 because, well, these load. The screens are not technically a title screen, they are the first thing you see when you start the game and they go straight to the game and also the art, the son of a video game, wins again, a changing title screen is exactly what it sounds like. as if one has the potential to be different when you start the game, usually determined by the player's saved progress.
A great first example of this would be a little game called SpecOps, the line on the title screen changes after certain chapters of the game and is a really effective way to show the players' impact on the city. The game develops enough that it won't be too spoilery, but it's a really cool time lapse. You can see the life of a sniper in this building. A little subcategory I want to add. All this change would be interactive and its title conveys that change because the player himself changes them. A great first example of what I mean by this is Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, where you have a snake dancing CQC in the background? this type, but you can change the colors and speed of the fight and the angle and type of visual style using the triggers and the analog sticks by clicking the analog stick.
It's really great. I remember when I discovered that in high school. I always mess with that before I get into the game and it's just a little thing, but I think it's cool. Another much more obvious example for this category of interactive silk would be Super Mario 64, where it starts with that 3D model of Mario. space, which I think was kind of a way for Nintendo to show off their Spy Kids 3D technology, but it was always a lot of fun, pinching his cheeks, stretching his skin and pulling down his hat, and you definitely remember it, which I think is cool every time I do it. start the isometric game please to have a cover there, so if you know me even a little bit maybe check out my other trash videos, you know I'm a big musical.
I especially love video game music because it can be used in so many sweet ways. ways and the title screen is no stranger to the affected use of video game music. I mean, the reason I decided to make this video was because of the Halo 2 title screen, which gave me goosebumps while editing that Halo 2 video, I thought. I was going to die for a game about so much combat in war, the title screen focuses more on the other side of pain, the more atmospheric and reflective side, apart from that along with the music I think it better represents the emotions of the players, the game developers and something more bombastic and explosive.
Damn, I already went through all these emotions when I was making the Halo videos. I don't need to resell all these emotions. Another example of a title screen that uses music effectively is Kingdom Hearts, well this one isn't the most interesting. The nicest thing to see, music really saves the day. I remember I used to make my ps2 songs just so I could listen to my darlings. I really liked it and now I've tried that song as three different ones from me, a final example of an effective video game title screen that I want to talk about, which I consider to be a Doctor Ross in many of these categories and that the series is basically the goat of video game title screens, they would be the legends of development since the first game. from the NES to the most recent titles the title screen has been a friend of a friend and created a team although I don't know if it's necessarily my favorite game in the entire series the title screen of Ocarina of Time has always stood out particularly among a bunch of really good title screens for a couple of different reasons.
The best thing about the Ocarina of Time title screen is that it's the perfect evolution in the "mix it again" opinion, but I think it's a perfect evolution of that classic title screen format where you actually have this. Quite recognizable logo in the foreground in some interesting animation or gameplay in the background, except Ocarina of Time, it captured that spirit of adventure so well that the dawn communicates on mobile and slowly fades away and allows you to decide what you want to start on the color. groove cut the extension makes multiple angles I can still hear the sound of the press are popular in common with a small quote here the music magazine that leg of how big the adventurer can play at that time that is still sealed opens come back in place that perfectly festive title screen you've finished the adventure you have to continue and along with the Super Metroid offerings they add a new title so thank you very much for watching this video.
I'm surprised you made it this far to the end. at least I hope I can get you to look at the title screens a little differently if there's something you normally skip and you know maybe you can figure out why you like the wines you like so much or maybe this. The video is trash I'm just rambling for a while and it was shit if you liked the video though go ahead and suplex the like button if you want to see more of this hit the subscribe button ring the bell if You want to receive a notification if you like it. my content this month you can support me on patreon also shout out to the Omaha poker game ago patreon I would also like to apologize for the loading schedule that is all over the place all the table videos took like two weeks this one like a week and a half and I have encountered many problems with files, correcting the structure began to take so long.
