squishies

sent to me by my viewers as usual. I checked the comments on my last unboxing video to find out which

You guys loved it, but don't get too mad because I think the only reason it stood out to you is because I have two of them in one video. this one is also in dire need of some love and attention and the third

squishy

I saw with a lot of requests was this one which is so simple and basic you wouldn't think this would actually get much attention because this is actually squishy and I decorated it sorry , I decorated him quite a while ago and apparently he needs a wife, so let's make that happen today. He's been single for a long time, so what I'm gathering here is that, um.

When there are two of something, you tend to notice. I'm going to start with one of these two, this one, so let's take a closer look at it. Hello, here is our first victim. I believe serious violent crimes have been committed against this little boy. the murder weapons were scissors and marker, someone had fun with the marker, it doesn't look like it was an accident either, there's a giant gash on his face, a gash on his ear and of course the amputated foot, oh look what they wrote to him. flesh, apart from its many mutilations, I'm not a big fan of the pink and orange color combination, so let's see what we can do with this and look, I already made my first mistake, orange was the wrong color choice for the background .

I'm going to start by grabbing some sandpaper for this, this will just rough up the texture of the foam and get it ready for painting now to fix all the tears. I'm just going to take a little bit of fabric glue and spread it on there and then I'm using a rubber band to hold everything down while the glue dries, oh, and another one and another one that will do it once it's dry. I'm going to remove the elastic bands. I'm going to give the squishy a break for a second. Take out a piece of memory foam.

I thought it would be cool to add something to this, so I'm just cutting out a dome shape. It will be a nice little hat, so I'm smoothing it down and smoothing it down. Here we are and the hat from him. it's actually not a hat at all, it's a cherry, so I'm gluing it on and yes, the cherry is almost the same size as the ice cream cone, totally accurate proportions, now I'm going to use a completely random paint color. Basically just smooth out the rough areas and fill in the holes, rip out the gaps and cracks, the background looks like the aftermath of an earthquake so it will need some work, just use a good coat of paint to create a smooth surface on which we can later paint.
There's a lot of paint here that's all dry and ready to decorate, so I'm painting this a light chocolate color and as you can see, it's going to take several coats to cover the mess underneath, so we'll move on. It is actually a cat made of chocolate or it just has chocolate brown fur. I will say that this brown looks horrible against that orange background. Thanks, orange just isn't

your

color, friend. Okay, we cover his body. Now bring the ice cream. Which is it? flavor, what is it, it's great, that's right. I'm making a nice mint ice cream for

your

head.
I hope to create a more appetizing color combination than the original, which was a fluorescent orange and a fleshy pink, so now we have delicious milk chocolate and crushing mint adjectives. I'm trying not to see this, but it looks like the ice cream cone is like a piece of shrapnel that went through his skull and then the ice cream is like his brains exploding. Okay, okay, so I'm starting to move on to the ingredients. I'm painting that cherry that somehow looks even bigger now that it's growing well. Who doesn't love a huge cherry? Do you want Cheney on top or do you want and? on the little cone giving it a quick coat and then I'm going to go in and clean up this very messy edge of ice cream that's around it, going over it twice to make sure I get even coverage and yeah, that looks a lot better.
It was very difficult to choose design ideas for these two cats because I feel like I could design a hundred as many possibilities that I need to get a collection of these. I mean, I could make rainbow cookies and cream, strawberry lemonade, rainbow cookie dough, blue raspberry cotton candy. funfetti rainbow I have a lot of ideas, is what I'm trying to say. Now I'm working on some touch ups, just tidying up some of the edges to make everything look neat and I decided to give it a dark brown chest. I have a darker colored chest, I don't think, that's probably why it looks very strange, but I'm ignoring it and just adding some chocolate chips to the mint ice cream and now it actually looks a lot more like the ice cream it actually made. for me and at this point I've realized that his chest looks just ridiculous and I hate it so I'm wiping it off with some toilet paper wiping the poop off so now I can repaint that area like it never happened happened this time.
I'll just keep some small stripes, give him some hair on the chest, and define the paws a little more. Oh, and it's time to show your face. I sketched out the face beforehand, that makes it a lot easier to do it off camera and then I can just trace the lines. I'm trying to avoid another situation. I made the expression on him like he had ice cream on his head and he was hungry for it. The last touch I added a little brown to the tail and boom! They're done, I think it's a great makeover. I like the new design, you just know it's more interesting, it has better details than before.
You would never know that his face had been cut off and his foot had been torn off. I'm sure some. people will have problems with the face they always make everyone thinks they can do it better okay I'm okay I like to give each squishy its own personality and try different expressions on their faces so I like to experiment if this one came out a little creepy No it seems as if he wanted to eat your face. No, anyway, I'm actually very happy with it. I think he looks cute. I'll keep him going to the other frozen cat, he's the same soft one with different wounds. obviously his cone is broken and missing, but notice that's not all that's missing, the cone took his ear off, he only has one ear now, but that's okay, oh yeah, and the previous owner provided me with a band elastic, I'm having a lot. of fun with it, this damage could have easily occurred over time with use rather than vicious acts of violence judging by how dirty this softie is, it's been used a lot so I'm going to sand this wear off, I have clean tears and to get this soft back in one piece I'm just using my glue and I'm going to glue it back in one piece.
I was just going to use the same elastic band they sent me but it was too stretched, how did that happen? I'm wondering, so I'm grabbing a new rubber band, oh that's so much better, here's one that will work and I'll go ahead and fix the ear too. She only has one left, so let's do it right now that everything is back in order. Maturity is the best I can do. quality we have to deal with this, so I dug up this little squishy cupcake at random. I'm picking up the little pin and throwing it on the ground.
I ended up stepping on it several days later and instead of ice cream spilling all over her head, she'll get a cupcake falling all over her head, which makes a lot less sense, but for some reason she was very happy with this idea. I have lots of little ice cream softies that I could have used to replace the missing cone here, but I would have. If I had had one cone shaped differently than the other, I feel like if I had names for all of them, it would be a lot easier to talk about them. Okay, his name is Eustace.
If I had replaced the cone with some cone from a random Squishy, it would have been a different cone than the one on Eustace, if they are going to be different anyway, why not just accept it and make them even more different from each other? So I chose a cupcake. I'm gluing the cupcake in place and then from Eustace. It had a cherry. I decided to give her what we call her Shelly. We'll also give Shelly a dressing. I found this little soft strawberry, so I'm cutting it to the right size, which is still huge, and then I'm gluing that in now that they're all here and in place, it's time to seal all the pieces together.
There are a lot of very rough areas to cover on this soft, particularly in the head region, so this required several coats of paint, just a little sticky. that over the mess until it looks a little better, you know, that's how you clean up all the mess, just apply a bunch of paint on top of it. I had this idea of trying to cover up the irregularities by adding like a teardrop of icing on top like layered drops, but that looked like shit, so I ended up just smoothing it out and forgetting about that idea and then moved on to painting the entire head white , oh, and the body is now white;
That's my base coat to apply. with a light pink for the cat color, so I'm just going to do several coats of that pink to build up the color until you know it looks good and pretty and I'm stagnating and okay, it looks good and pretty. I'm painting another layer. of white on top I admit the cupcakes sticking out of the head are a little strange I guess it doesn't read as well as the ice cream cone, but it's a good idea. Nice try. I'll keep rolling. Since it's too late to come back, wait this video is sponsored by our teza and they sent me a bunch of art supplies that I want to show you so check them all out. adorable handmade card thank you for sending trick 30 of our teza 3D paints, including fluorescent colors, metallic layers, they even glow in the dark.

They also sent me a set of their fabric markers and a notebook of art ezza watercolor paper. I want to thank our Tessa for sponsoring this video and for sending me all of these amazing supplies. Now back to the squishies and now I'm going for another layer of white on the frosting. This time I'm applying a thick layer and smoothing it out as much as I can. When you apply thick layers of paint like this, the paint flattens out a little as it dries, so you don't have to like it.
Obsessing too much about it, but leaving it more or less soft, that doesn't make sense. Oh, and this is where it gets good. I'm going to add some small circular sprinkles while the paint is still wet. No, it's okay, and once everything dries, I'm going to clean up. Even those edges on this one wanted to have an upset expression, she's just very upset because there's currently a cupcake on her head. I mean, can you blame her? An ice cream cone ate her ear. I gave him some white paws. It looks like she stepped on it. in the frosting I'm fine with that and I fixed up his face a little, his whiskers are very crooked so I'll paint one side and then repaint the ones that look better adding some small details to his tail and his ears or ear and that's it Once this was done, I think it was quite surprising.
I think I like this one even more than what Eustace is called. I'm very happy with it, although the cupcake sticking out looks a little weird, I still really like it. It reminds me a little of this drawing I made. I could create this book a long time ago. I love how annoying a damn cupcake looks in my head and it's time to bring in her creepy sidekick. It's Eustace, he looks like the guy I do. I'll try to get a little closer. I think these two look very cute together. I'm very happy to add these two to my collection in the last squishy of this episode.
This bear is very simple, just pinksolid. Nothing too remarkable about you. dear, you are nothing special, yes, it's another episode of watch me bully a piece of foam that has in this year's edition, it's hollow, but at least it has two ears, it's tearing, dirty, stained, I'm not sure What to say about it and now this first one. I'm going to fill the ear with a little piece of foam just to give it that structure and then I'll glue it on. Now let's take a little trip, stay with me. I'm taking a little bit more memory foam and I'm just shaping it into a ball and then I'm going to cut that ball in half and then I'm going to glue it together. half of the ball on one side of his face and the other half of the ball on the other side of his face, so I tried to put a rubber band on them to dry, but since the foam pieces were so small, the glue It just got soaked. and then this happened, so that's not going to work, so I ripped them out, what a wonderful waste of time.
Plan B. I'm actually going to use small pom poms and some hot glue. You know, I'm desperate when I get out the hot glue. gun, but the first method, as you saw, didn't work and I need this bear to have balls in its face, you know what I mean. I didn't want to give up on my design idea, so this is how I had to make it work. I'm sealing the pom poms with a little bit of paint and I'm also putting a coat of paint over that ear here we go so like I said this is going to be a wife for my squishy polar bear so she's going to be a polar bear too we're not doing no crazy species crossing here she'll also have a cute hat aha so now you see what these pom poms were all about I wanted to look like one of those hats that you know have pom poms in them - pom poms I don't know if I really nailed that look but I tried, It was a little strange because normally those hats have long strings and the pom poms are at the end of the strings, but her head is also like a little short, so I had to shrink the hat a little, but I think it works.
If you haven't seen the first polar bear makeover, I'll link to it in the corner. Now it was from my Christmas themed

makeovers

from last year so I wanted to match the style of that even though I painted him again they need alfrid names even though I painted Alfred so long ago I wanted them to look like they were painted alfrid same time but I also wanted to do this other one her name is mmm Marlowe to have her own style she has a hat and a sweater like Alfred but they are a different color they have a different style there was a lot of back and forth painting those stripes on her hat They gave me a little problem trying to keep them nice, straight and tidy and speaking of tidy, here I go singing everything making a lot of touch-ups.
I gave him a tan muzzle instead of the gray one. I don't know the gray. It almost looks like a 5 o'clock shadow so I thought maybe using tan on her spot could make her look a little more feminine and I'm just adding her facial features which I kept very simple and very similar to Alfred's . I think it turned out very nice, definitely more interesting than the original design. I am very happy with how the hat looks. I think it turned out really cute even though the pom poms are not soft, in fact they are very hard, that's okay. the moment we've all been waiting for, okay, anyway, you know what I think she's a little bigger than him, but yeah, I think the designs complement each other well, although there could be one more addition to this pair, but that's for another episode, maybe, so here everyone. is to stop crawling behind like that Eustace.
I'm very happy with how all of these turned out. I hope you enjoyed this week's video. I have a cool and different plan for next week, as well as a little surprise, so be sure to show it off. until next week on Friday at 4 p.m. Eastern time, don't be late. I'll see you next Friday, bye.
