I don't know about you, actually, I'm pretty sure I know what you're going to say and you're with me on this one, which I'm sick of. Dollar Tree taking away the amount of rope they are selling for a dollar is no longer a good deal but we are in luck because they also sell 50 foot poly rope blocks for a dollar and this is a great deal, plus these are two amazon. rope stores I have purchased before, this price per foot is better than the dollar tree and I will link them in the side note of the description.

The first store I'm linking to their prices change sometimes hourly, day to day, but they're not al

ways

going up, they're going up, they're going down, so it's not like the dollar tree, they're not just continually raising the price, so Forgive me if it's not exactly the same, try the second link anyway, all you have to do. What I make is an alternative jute rope, a black rope and the black rope is really stretching our dollar. I just used a bundle of black poly rope here, but the great thing about this DIY is it's totally customizable, you can make it all in black or you can make it in black poly rope and finish it with thread.

It really works in many situations. You can use it for your lemonade next to your couch or as if you were

using

it for a plant stand. I love how it turned out. These hanging plant baskets are for summer. Staples into the dollar tree and while you're in the tool section picking up some black poly rope, go ahead and grab some of his white poly rope. You will get 25 feet for a dollar, it is not as good as 50 feet, but the white poly rope is thicker. I also originally spray painted my plant hanger white, but after finishing this DIY I see that it's not necessary, so if you don't have white spray paint on hand, don't go without it, you really don't need it to get this same.

See, then all you have to do is weave the polyethylene rope in and out of the plant basket until you reach the top stop and then weave it around the top so you can see that you don't need to go out and buy white spray. paint for this the only part you can see that is the wire is the bottom and I don't think that matters much so you can either put the

garden

chains back on or like I'm doing I had separated a previous DIY and I'm

using

that rope to hang my flower pot. Did you know Dollar Tree sells plant coverings for one dollar?
I didn't make them until this year. I had never seen them before. It's a really good deal and that's what I used. I put up my elephant bush. hanging planter, so depending on what you have on hand, it will cost you between four and six dollars, which is actually a great deal considering that even the beyond basic plant hangers at Lowe's cost between 10 and 15 at Walmart and Dollar Tree. They both sell plastic trash baskets. for a dollar or 98 cents it doesn't matter if you go to Dollar Tree or Walmart to buy a trash can. I'm using a trash can where I'm repurposing a trash can that I had used last year for a DIY planter.
I think this is going to be great because you're going to see how well this technique works and by the way, the rope that I used in the last DIY is the rope from this pot, so a lot of people ask like, Hi Megan, what you do? you do it all the DIY when you're done, well I sell them, give them away, use them or take them apart and reuse them, then you just pick up a big catering bowl. Dollar Tree also sells them and make some holes for drainage. holes, so we are making another planter here, there will be no rope involved in this planter, so if you are not a fan of rope, this DIY is for you, then just hot glue your bowl to your trash can, too the dollar tree they sell caulking in their tool section, they sell the squeeze tube and they also sell the kind that you can put in a caulking gun, it doesn't matter the same kind, put it all over your container in your trash can and like I said, we're making a pot, so from now on I'll call it a pot, then you'll take some sand from the dollar tree, you only need one bag and you'll have a lot left over and you'll sprinkle it all over your pot while the caulk is still wet, you can also come back with a brush to push it and move it around the pot to give it a more textured look and don't forget to make the drainage holes and lift the head.
Go ahead and make two big training holes right in the middle, then you can paint your planner any color you want. Now I'm spray paint and girl, it's my favorite way to paint, but you can use whatever paint you want. I originally used a matte black and I didn't hate it, but it didn't really show the texture that the pot had, so after it was black I went back with a very thin layer of Rust-oleum copper hammered metal and this is the look, like this that if you want the same look you will have to go black and then apply a light coat and that's why I mentioned that I sprayed it black first and then came back with copper.
I made a smaller one using a 50 Cent Mug and a 50 Cent Bowl from Walmart. The only difference with this little pot is that I used my drill to make a hole in the cup and bowl for drainage. Everything else is the same. Caulk, sand, spray paint, black spray paint, gold and this is. how these two pots turned out, I really love how they turned out, I know I'm al

ways

bragging to myself saying oh I love every DIY, but I'm really impressed with how they turned out, especially this pot, the bigger pot because that trash can was really broken , I didn't clean up the old hot glue or even some of the rope like bits of lint left behind.
I love how they look outside. In fact, I did both. It was the last week of March. I had them. It's stormy outside, they hold up really well so definitely give them a try and if gold copper isn't your style I also did a similar technique on this pot in this video linked in the description below, check it out if you're interested in a different one. kind of look, we all know Dollar Tree sells dollar bowls. Walmart sells their bowls for 94 cents, so they're only six cents, but depending on if you're already there, how far Walmart is from your house, I think Walmart is a better deal, just snatch up.
Place two bowls that match in style or size, they don't have to be the same color, use some gel glue available at Dollar Tree and connect your two bowls end to end. I made this for two styles of bowls, so for the white style. of bowls because when I attached them it looks like I glued two bowls together even though we are just gluing two bowls together I don't want it to look like we are just gluing two bowls together I used a little more dollar I froze the putty and just pushed it into the cracks cleaned it up with a damp cloth and bada bing bada boom, you can't even tell it was two bowls glued together, then you can paint it whatever color your heart desires.
My heart always desires any spray. paint I have on hand, so I'm using traditional white. I always have this one on hand, it's one of my favorite spray paint colors and then Dollar Tree sells candle making kits for just a dollar or you can go to any craft store and get them. like a pack of eight candle wicks for a dollar twenty to a dollar fifty and that's what I had on hand that's what I did so I just hot glued the wick in the middle of your bowl and then rounded them all up the ones that almost burned. lower the candles and put them in water on the stove over medium heat for about 35 to 45 minutes, then I read online that the smell of eucalyptus, lemon or lavender is a natural mosquito repellent.
Eucalyptus and lemon are like nickels I save. I have my diffuser available. I love the smell of it, so I'm trying it. I'm not 100% sure I buy what that blog was selling, but hey, I'll contact you again at the end of the summer and let you know. If they really worked, but if not, I want to go ahead and say that I love this DIY. These candles look very modern indoors or outdoors and smell amazing. They're also great for people like me if you just have a hard time partying. with those candles you spent, you know your hard earned money and you don't want to throw away the last inch of wax and now we move on to the next one.
Dollar Tree has been selling the spinning tower value pack since Christmas. games I've seen them in stores as recently as the last week of April, but they also have them online as of the last week of April 2021, if you can't find the value pack that's okay, you can still use their regular size . you'll just need to double the amount you buy, so I mentioned that in a previous video. You can go to Facebook marketplace, go to their marketplace, search for free wood and all the free listings in your area will appear. That's how I get a lot of my free items, especially free scrap wood, but I also join groups called sell nothing, buy nothing, where they're just a bunch of people who give away their stuff for free, like garbage from one man was another man's treasure, so look at all that on Facebook.
Really the only reason I'm still on Facebook is then to just grab some wood glue which you can sometimes get at Dollar Tree, although I never see it at my local Dollar Tree or at Walmart or Dollar General for less than three dollars and I just put your blocks all over that wood now these blocks don't match up perfectly and that's okay, then you see these big dents to fix, all you have to do is take a little more wood glue, spray it in the cracks, rub with a damp towel. into the cracks and then just take some sandpaper and then sand, the dust from the sanding will fill in the cracks and give it a nicer, more professional, store-bought look.
Now I'm getting out my miter saw and I don't want to lose you because you look at this. I bought mine for five dollars at a garage sale, but you can get a new one at Walmart for about thirty dollars and I promise they are not difficult to use. This is going to take up a lot of time. your craft set, I'd say it's a better investment than a cricket, but that's just me, that's my opinion, so you can also do this with a handsaw. I hope I didn't miss you right there, these table or bench legs that I had originally purchased. for my coffee table, I went ahead and bought a new coffee table because there is a local guy who lost his job during greed.
I love supporting local and he custom made this for me. I really appreciate it if you are in the Texas area and I believe he ships to the lower 48 states. Now I'm going to have his store linked in the description. I don't make money with it. I love supporting locals and people who are living his dreams like him, like I said. He had a job that he quit and now he only works as a carpenter and sells his house. Everything he said. I love this bench. Can I brag about myself for a second? I love how he turned out.
I didn't stain it. I will do that. seal it but I think it looks great and when I bought the table legs they weren't 18 as shown in the little pop up picture they were only 15 so for 20 it looks amazing I only used four. boxes of blocks and I actually had about five small blocks left over. I love how all these DIYs turned out. I love you for watching and thank you so much for watching, I'll see you next time my friend.
