Ranking Every Super Mario 3D World Level

Jun 06, 2021
There are over 100

level

s in Super Mario 3D World, many of them full of charm, fun music, deep gameplay, and exciting secrets. I'll rank each

level

based on how fun and deep they are. Having said all that, let's classify it. 116 number one fire bros hideout yes we're even including these levels for the ultimate ranked video. You crushed three fire bros, he already said, 115 magikoopa lock, it's the same idea, but you destroyed three magikoopa, even the stage layout is exactly the same 114 fire bros hideout. Number four, okay, listen to me carefully, there's a reason we jump from one to four, you fight even more Firebros for an extra challenge, that is, Firebros hideout number three, it's almost the same as hideout 4, but there are some hammer and boomerang brothers for a change, I know. crazy curveball the game is thrown at us 112 Fire Bros hideout number two this is probably the hardest hide and seek level simply because Fire Bro was on top of the goomba pile if you have the cat suit it's not that bad or you can use the platforms ascenders on the sides 111 big loomba block gloomba may be big, but that never got in my way, especially since you can hit these two in the middle to make this fight an absolute joke, one under ten charge and block chuck, get the ball out Folks, like the true gamer that you are, I'm only putting this higher because you're a little more annoying to deal with the 109 load and Chuck's blocking is back, yeah, it's the same thing, but with even more Really wonderful Chuck guys. 108 Prince Bully Blockade, this brilliant one.

The bouldering isn't very difficult, but it's more fun than the other fights, at least in a cat suit, you just slide it into a pipe and boom, it turns into toothpaste. 107 Prince Bully Blockade is back, literally the same fight as before, but now the bully. He can breathe fire, that being said, you'll probably never notice since it takes like three months to charge up his fire attack. 106 blockade plus brolder, it's the last blockade fight, you grab some rocks and throw them into the lava, it's a bit of a fun moment, except for Nathaniel who hates this level for some reason 105 Rammer Head Reef we finally get to a real level and unfortunately this one is not very refreshing.

More Interesting Facts About,

I don't know why platform games have to create water levels when they're never fun, but here. All you really do is swim slowly and wait for the steamroller heads to move and one of the green stars is so stupid here that you literally can't access it unless you have a fire flower and it's not like it's a challenge to get it. It's just annoying when you don't realize this until you're halfway through the 104 Mystery Houses marathon, as someone who enjoys mystery houses is a nice little break from the game. The last one you have to do is sadistic.
ranking every super mario 3d world level
We are supposed to get 30 of these green stars without checkpoints, mistakes and under a strict time limit, many of the individual challenges are not that difficult but some of them suck when you make a mistake and the sheer length makes it very easy to drown and get dirty. above also 103 cosmic cannon group you will use a cannon box to take out dry bones and press switches while I like the beginning, the middle and the end are painful, the water section is only two minutes of waiting, you don't like it to hit for anything as long as you have the cannon box, at the end it has this nasty switch that you have to press to advance.
ranking every super mario 3d world level
It's at the most awkward angle to aim at. It's just the worst deep sea dungeon 102. It's another level of water. but at least try something new, the water goes up and down and you have to move with it to continue, although I like the concept it's still slow to play 101 coins. Expressing why this level exists I don't understand, but it is essentially a hidden bonus stage with hundreds of coins, if you really like collecting coins then I guess this is for you, but there are no enemies or pits or any kind of challenge, and coins don't even matter when you can max out your live counter in the second level of the game. 100 Pipeline Boom Lagoon I don't know why this stage has a relaxing aura, but that's the only reason I tolerate it.
It's more swimming in the water and tediously avoiding buckets with rammer head spikes. 99 pipe lagoon, the og version, any of the levels can be swapped as it's almost the same instead of rammer heads, however you should avoid the cheap ones and the porky globes. 98 creepy dizzy shipwreck, well I wouldn't really call it creepy but this level is kind of a mess, a lot of attention is focused on the goons you even have. take out two of them to get a green star this is a passable or grueling experience without a power up, the thugs can take forever to take down the ship just because of their unstable hitboxes and there's a water section in the middle because oh

every

one I love those 97 Bullet Bill Brigade from Bowser, oh yeah the auto scrollers, I wouldn't call them bad per se but they can drag on, we have a boom boom fight at the end but that's not saying much because it's boom boom 96 Bowser's Bobbum Brigade like you.
I'd expect it to be the same idea, but with more difficult enemies like the Hammer Bros and Bobbums, the stage is a little more fun for that reason 95 Bowser Express Wow, another auto-scrolling train, but now the camera is at a horizontal angle. I like the swinging spikes and the compartment at the end, it's a nice stroke of originality 94 the Bullet Bill Express and they're not kidding about the bullet bills flying around you, even the bonsai bills fly into the scene. I must say I'm glad this auto scroll has some real tension it makes it the best of the bunch 93 floating fuzzy timeline this really looks like one of those out of idea levels it's another auto scroll but you're forced to swim through cubes of water water is just slower than using the cloud and the tilted platforms since before 92, Brolder's block is back, you just fight Brolder's man, throwing rocks at him when he's not spinning, it's a pretty fun fight, but there is no real level to play. 91 variegated boss spots, big battle, yes, the big metal clown has arrived. city and he wants to step on us, we don't like that though, so just run and hit the clown hiding inside him, it's a pretty creative fight 90. multicolored boss spots, oh yeah, same boss battle, but now he throws golden rings. after each jump i really like this as it makes the fight a little more engaging 89 a banquet with histocrat i love histocrat's song it really makes the fight better because of the mood it puts you in

every

thing you do What you really do is climb a snake and jump on its head three times but that song that accompanies it is a damn pop 88 the histocrat returns and now he or she is pink and throws fireballs at the ground the fire is easy to avoid but it is better than practically no obstacles 87 a beam in the dark, so this level is mostly auto scrolling, but at least it tries to give you something to do, the circle rotates and you have a light box to clear out the alcohol and pipes 86 grumblump inferno, grumblum leans over the lava and you.
I will stand on them without falling, although it can be scary and exhilarating at certain times, it is also hard work even when you hit the ground, gum for speed. 85 Captain Toad takes a spin. I'm a fan of the Captain Toad levels. I even bought Treasure Tracker. twice because you only live once, you hit the p switch to rotate the level and it's a pretty cool mechanic, the level was a little clunky because of that, but just a little 84 Piranha Creeper Creek after dark, about half the level original is what you get plus a million stumps to light up with fireballs if you're not looking for green stars this stage is honestly pretty forgettable if you're looking for green stars then you'll hate the suffering there are so many stumps to hit and precision you need some of them while you deal with the spinning platforms and the poison and the piranha plants can be the worst 83 boiling lava lake lava goes up lava goes down that's the name of the game and a couple of green stars are hard to grab If you're not equipped with the right character or the 82 Fuzzy Time power-up extracts another auto-scroll, but at least there's more motivation to progress.
Fuzzies lurk from behind and you'll traverse various types of platforms, some tilting from side to side. try to crush yourself on impact 81 captain toad's fiery ending if i was rating wii u levels i would probably set this higher if you are playing on tv you have to use the gyro button to raise the platforms which is hardly As accurate as the 80 Captain Toad gamepad is for the first level, it looks great and introduces the concept perfectly. It's a shame that the Wii U blow pad has been replaced by the yellow automatic ones, but hey, 79 Captain Toad makes a splash and a very small one, since he can't jump, the cores are more complex and the water isn't the worst , since you are walking on the ground all the time. 78 Captain Toad plays hide and seek, one of the most involved captain toad levels, you will use touch blocks to get up and reach other areas.
You also have ghosts to take out with your flashlight if you want, but I like to increase the damage through them because it's faster. 77 captain toad is defeated. To be the best toad captain level of them all, there are so many interesting situations to overcome, such as swamps, bullet tickets, transporter floors, etc. I also love how you'll use the top of the Thwomps platforms too 76. melee mystery house, the first of many mystery houses the theme here is to destroy enemies any way you can, it's pretty fun if you have the cat suit, as many of these enemies can be taken out with a single cat swipe for just a couple of seconds. 75 big rebounds.
Rebounding is a factor, I can't deny that and it's pretty fun too. The only downside is that at the end there is a huge inflatable platform that you just wait for. I don't like it, seriously, the only obstacle is some tiny buds, otherwise you're doing almost nothing. like a minute 74. street hustle and bustle this takes the record for the

world

's smallest 3d

mario

world

level. You're supposed to use the double cherry to move and use the lifts, but it's completely unnecessary since you can do good jumps and be able to break this. such a difficult level makes it more fun 73 Pretty Plaza Panic speaking of small levels, I would say this one is a little better just because it looks better and the platforms are more attractive, you can chase a bunny and there are more piranha plants vibrating 72 The swamp People's fog is a bit of a strange scenario, we got here.
You start by exploring this little section of snow, find a bunch of key coins, then you enter this poison log section which also has a bunch of fog and platforms appear and disappear. maybe it's just me, but the fog doesn't really add anything, especially if you already know where to go. 71 Lava Rock Lair is your typical castle level and frankly one of the most forgettable, that's not to say it's not fun, I like it. Throwing rocks, but that's only fun for so long 70. Mystery House, Mad Dash and that's what you do. Each section has you running through a mini stage to a certain point.
I really like the pacing of this stage and the difficulty progression ramps up nicely. The mystery house clock to climb to the next mystery house requires you to wear the cat suit for each star. I like that there are levels that force you to use power-ups, as it changes the gameplay quite drastically. 68. Mystery house teardown that I really shouldn't have done. This mystery house is so high up, but it's worth it for the comedy gold. If you grab the baseball with the cursor, you can use it to touch the green stars, so instead of trying to carefully aim your ball throws like they're a bush, just grab the ball and move.
In a second boom, you're done, you can even click on the power blocks and switch panels. This is actually so dumb, but I love it so much. The best mystery house ever. 67. Bowser's Lava Lake. Maintain one of the most complicated Bowser levels. The developers were having a bad day and decided to put the green stars in difficult places so and you know what I really like: it's good to be stimulated from time to time 66 bosses blitz the title says it all you will fight all the different bosses in a big marathon. I appreciate the strict timer as it forces you to play well and adds a sense of excitement. 65.
Bowser's highway showdown, while brief, is really enjoyable, with lots of bombs and goombas stacked up, it's also the first time I meet your local pimp Bowser. I kind of miss this strange era of King Koopa 64. Roll ride, run, your mileage will vary in this stage depending on what power-ups you have with the cat suit. It's an incredible momentsince you can. avoid the moving platforms and climb the walls, if not it's a bit slow and very unstable on the switch with the extra speed for each character 63. typhoon gusts, uh no, this is not your favorite Dairy oreo blizzard Queen, typhoons are huge clouds. that puts out a lot of steam, the trick works well here and requires you to wait a while to cross paths.
Load of 62 chain links. This is another example of how to do an auto-scroll with all the moving spaces and degrees for jumping. You are always committed. with level 61. cookie cog works, the designs are all cookies and chocolate and the main concept is that the cookies rotate in different shapes and speeds. You'd be surprised how solid level 60 is. Piranha Creeper Creek, we talked about the remake. A while ago, the original version is much more fun to make. The level is better lit and the green stars are placed in better places. You even have a hidden warp tube to travel to the previous world 5. 59 hill ants and even more. the ants slide on a path and you climb up and through them, the ending has us bouncing off mega ants, which is a little boring, but for the most part, the level has a good pace 58, back to the practical room , I really wish there were more stages with unique themes like this.
I love the Japanese aesthetic and using the cursor to open the shoji doors, some of the enemies are annoying to deal with. but otherwise it's a great level 57 hands on and now we're on the original the main difference is that the enemies aren't that difficult frankly these two levels can be interchanged depending on the mood and time of the day. 56 switchboard drops, yes there are quite a handful of control panels, they are interesting to use as you can control which direction you want to go and you can even fly from one path to another 55 blow peaks the last touch screen based level It's a little clunky on the switch but it still works pretty well Well you'll tap the platforms to move them up and down to get around some of them that contain cool secrets 54.
Super Blockland, they not only nailed the look of the blocks but also the look from Mario 3D Land. A lot of blocks are big and you must find the key. coins and charging chuck is a fun level but nothing special 53. switch shock circus finally another theme that is completely new to the

mario

franchise, you will touch a lot of switch panels to progress and there are a lot of fuzzlets in your way 52. Swiss Scramble Circus That's right, it's the original version and it has even more level to play. It's pretty funny, as is the other one.
Honestly, I'd say it's only better for the extra segments included. 51 really rolling hills. What a great name! a really innovative scenario, but I want to say they are not wrong, the hills are moving in the colored panel room, they are amazing, look at those colors 50. falls on really rolling hills, it's practically the same level, but in a time adjusted now I really enjoy it. the rush of getting clocks while playing the level is satisfying 49. Spike's Lost City I guess the city isn't lost anymore now that we're here, as expected there are a lot of spikes rolling down the hill so you just jump. them as best you can 48. cakewalk flip flippity-tippity I say many of the platforms change between red and blue adding a fun layer of depth the third green star is a little scary as you also have to avoid the laser beams 47. the big tower of bowser land why does the name of this title sound so boring?
Anyway, Hauser Land is mostly limited to avoiding fire and beating up some thugs. You also fight Meowser, which is honestly a little disappointing. It's an auto-scoring fight where you have to avoid Miaz's attacks. so while it has a unique design, it doesn't feel like much of a climax 46. Fort Fire Bros, one of the trickiest stages, got a group of Fire Bros to power down and hit to avoid it. I enjoy the difficulty and overall vibe of blue lava 45. Fastest Fort Fire brothers say five times faster, four, five browsers, beyond the four, five brothers. Wow, although the name says Fort Fire Bros faster, the game itself is not fast-paced, although it would be an interesting idea, the goal is to survive while collecting clocks. a little more fun than the original 44.
Alley of Troubles and Shadows I really don't understand this remake. You spend most of your time in the shadows, but the only goal is to defeat all enemies. It seems like this could have been included in the original. but hey, it's actually a lot of fun 43. Deep black jungle drift, another great way to auto-scroll. If you have the cat suit, you can skip most of the level with the big guys, although the remake is a little different since you're so incentivized to use the light box to get the boots out. 42 drifts in the deep jungle. This is real.
There is no alcohol or pipes in our way. You just soar through the level and forget that you're even playing with an auto-scroller. Is incredible. 41. Beatblock Skyway Beep Boop Bam The platforms appear and disappear with the music. I absolutely love this level concept. The connection of music and game works very well. 40. Blast Block Skyway. This level is very similar, except the platforms change much faster, of course. he's more attractive, so he's a little better just for that reason 39. Plessy's Deep Falls plus C is the healthier orange guy who wants to help Mario and his friends get through areas of the game.
Oh we love Plessy, the level itself is pretty basic but it's a fun time and has a nice slider remix for mario 64. 38 foot light rail and the worst thing is you can't see the stage and the dry bones are damn no, but I really love how you have to carefully find where the stage is. As you play, it's even more fun when you know the layout of the stage so you can make some really scary jumps. 37. Champions Road we finally arrive at the infamous 3D world stage. This is a huge gauntlet that orders you to get through several sections without losing. a life where there are no checkpoints anywhere, the hardest part is the ending with all the speed boosts and lasers.
I'm a big fan of difficult levels like this, but the lack of a single checkpoint is a bit absurd, even though I know that's the case. Quite the point, but come on, not even a mansion 36 Shifty Boo, one of the few ghost themed levels that isn't difficult to play, you'll be wandering around couches, traversing paintings and running across moving floors, you really can't go wrong 35 The Mansion Shifty Boo, the drain colors add this strange sense of dread, a theme rarely seen on display. It's the same as the Shifty Boo mansion, but a little more difficult. 34. Kink of Thunk's Castle, a lot of spices revolve around the level and you have to jump. through them at the right time I know it sounds a bit boring but strangely it works very well it's a shame the boss is so brain dead 33. boiling blue thug belt seriously these stage names are so uncreative OMG, i love the level because of the frenetic pace and the platforms constantly coming in and out but seriously that name is just the worst 32 broken blue thug belt it's basically the same as the original except there are a lot less platforms to land on, which can only be a good thing of course, 31. complicated trapeze theater I wasn't expecting another circus themed stage and I'm not complaining about that either, you'll jump from trapeze to trapeze and the momentum feels great 30. pointed bean pole, you go up and You go up once again, it's a new version of Mount Beanpole with the main difference being that there are spikes stuck everywhere.
It certainly makes the level more difficult, but not in a good way, if you're careful and cautious it's not a big hassle, but that also makes the flow of the overall level 29 koopa troopa cave the classic underground level 1-2 that the most mario games are bound to have this one it's really fun and also a great place to max out lives if that's your thing i like how the clear pipes are used to get from one section to another and there are a lot of koopa bouncing 28. Cheat Trap Tower, one of the most unique versions of a lava level, the main concept is to climb this tower to get key coins and then run back down like poison gas. rushes down, it's a huge adrenaline rush 27.
Gigantic Dizzy Shipwreck, It's actually crazy how much better this remake is compared to the original, the level is basically the same, but with typhus trying to blow you away, but luckily for us, there are some mega mushrooms to use that take down typhoons in one hit there's something really satisfying about instantly killing thugs in thai meals get out of here 26 Honeycomb Starway or the galaga version of mario the setting is a auto-scroll and you'll use boomerangs to hit small shoots and fire plane up to the top down angle this works remarkably well and is a very nice change of pace 25. honeycomb sky path this and the star path could easily be swapped I prefer a Bit of a level design for this level, but it's not a different experience 24.
Bridge with pointy spikes and lots and lots of rain, plus the rain effect adds a lot to what is a dark and gloomy night. Barbed bridges release barbs all at once or individually in a cycle. It's a lot of fun to calculate when to jump. 23. Sneak Spike Bridge i slightly prefer the remake due to its more complicated gameplay, the blue spikes will rise when you move over the focus so you have to be much more careful when jumping 22. towering sun by the sea so simple and short that this remake is, it contains an OMG, you have 100 seconds to defeat some Firebros, but they are on top of stacked goombas.
The main course is this middle pile, as there are like a hundred goombas, at least the short timer adds a fun element to this extensive rabbit race on the savanna. the Savannah remake really only features the open world portion, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. You still collect the bunnies and it's a good time. 20. Mount Bean, pull, climb, slide and climb some more, there is a lot of vertical transcension, which feels great. since you got the cat suit 19. rainbow run holy colors batman the roads are rainbow the plessy section has rainbow panels you can't escape all that dazzling color what i like about this level is the fact that it combines cheats from previous levels in Uno has these spinning cylinders right next to these trapeze jumps and it's more challenging than you'd expect and it's great for that reason 18.
Switch Black Ruins The switch panel levels are pretty decent, but this one outshines them all, the change in camera angle makes it easier to hit the panels, either with the cursor or simply by moving around yourself. 17. Base of bullet bill. We have another one of these vertical base levels, but this one takes it to the extreme almost the entire time you'll be climbing and the transporters will allow you to go up faster or slower. Combine that with all the bullet tickets and you'll have a great time. 16. Sunshine Seaside, one of my favorite open world settings, you collect five key coins while climbing cloud trees or saving the captain.
Toad from Bitty Buds something about the nature of the beach makes this one really cool. It reminds me of running on the beach in real life. 15. Red Hot Run. You know I was a little conflicted about how I feel about this, on the one hand it's very easy to slip and go off course but on the other hand that's what makes it so great at this point in the game you'll have a good control the controls and now they will take you to an even higher limit 14. double cherry pass, it is the power-up that was created by accident and yes, that is really true.
This is another type of lighthearted level where you will use your clones to generate green stars and fight enemies more easily. 13. Plessy's downfall, by far. In Plessy's best level, you'll descend a huge sand dune and pick up speed along the way. The level design finally ramps up the difficulty a bit near the end and makes for an enjoyable time. 12. Super galaxy, you can't go wrong with the mario galaxy themed level, you have the red and blue rotating platforms, the octawumbas, heck even the comet observatory at the end, the main gimmick of the level is constantly changing and also becoming more and more hardest 11.
Shadowplay Alley, let's face it, we're all fighting. our internal shadows right now and half the stage takes that idea to the next level after going through a door, all you can see are shadows of yourself, enemies, blocks and stars, it's a very different style than most of Mario games don't go, so it's refreshing to play and see that this is another level that is just fun to go through 10. the big objective, what a twist this level brings, the objective survey is right at the beginning and then, boom, it loads, this concept could almost become a whole.Mario game on its own because the fun comes down to how fast you can get to the pole without falling 9.
Gigantic Grotto, the Mega Mushroom is one of those power-ups that are really cool but are never that practical in Mario games. Up until this stage, you will use it to be able to run on water due to your weight and you can avoid water geysers and smash your way through spikes for whatever reason. This gives the mega mushroom a meaningful use that I really appreciate. 8. Spotlight While it's not a very stealthy level it does feel that way to a certain extent, every time you pass over a spotlight a barrage of bullets fly towards you and I like the euphoria it brings to the table and even some of the stage breaks creating a more compelling feeling 7. snowball park what an incredibly happy stage the music is so happy the snowmen waltz there are even goombas and big ice skates the snowball park has a really flow well six bob oams down I can't be the only one It looks like this level has just been ported to Mario 3D Land.
You'll hit power blocks, throw bobbums, and run with a speed boost at the end for a nice adrenaline boost. 5. Super Bell Hill, the first level in a video game is the most important one that shows what you are getting into. Super Bell Hill does a phenomenal job showing the transparent pipes on the cat's suit and even the mega mushroom. The first impression you get from this level is that the adventure probably won't be very difficult, but it will be. a very good time 4. conked or canyon well, it's not a big canyon but there is a lot of contour to go through the style of the platforms changes constantly and everything flows so naturally that you will go from jumping from bouncing platforms to bridges that move from side to side Along narrow paths and even sandy waterfalls, you can climb three sets of transparent pipes.
It took even making this ranked video to realize how amazing this stage is to begin with. It is extremely memorable because of the expanding transparent pipes inside these pipes, there are lint flying. coins going in and out, green stars and the like, but best of all you can run on top of the pipes and simply choose not to use them if you want. That feeling of freedom makes this a keeper. 2. Expanding savanna. I have a strange attachment. Up until this point I was really longing for a more open world experience with Mario on Wii U and this is the closest we got there is a huge field to run around complete with lots of bunnies to catch there is something really fun about randomly stumbling across such a wild level. different compared to the rest 1. bush mustache can I really choose something else?
Combining Mario Kart into a platform level works better than it ever deserved. You can tell that heart was put into this scenario, since it is the only level with remixed music from Super Mario Kart. Many of the slides look like roads and the constant speed boos keep you on your toes - even the walls are colored like Super Mario Kart, damn. There are many stages. Mario 3d World is pretty much just a collection of levels, but most of them try to focus on one gimmick and expand that idea even further, but that's all I have for today.
Let me know what your favorite and least favorite levels are. the comments thank you so much for watching and I'll see you all next time tata um hey do you know if you're still watching um like subscribe you probably already have if you're still watching leave a comment saying um The horseradish is delicious okay bye .
