Feb 27, 2020
Hey guys, check here, I think this is the first Beats product in a long time that I've been interested in. Typically, Beats products are heavy on show and heavy on bass and not much else. How

ever

, this one is interesting when you first unpack these earbuds, they will be inside their black charging case. The case itself is an internal battery, so when

your headphones are inside their case, they will recharge as long as the case's internal battery is not dead. The case has magnets to draw the located pins. on the outside of each earbud in the appropriate spot, so it's pretty easy to pop them back into your charging port to keep things simple.

All you need to remember is that they go to the base first, the left, the left side, the right. The button goes on the right side. It's not as simple as the Air Pods, but it's no big deal if your case runs out of battery. It has a port on the back for a Lightning connector which is included in the box if you don't have it. I know Beats was owned by Apple before, well, you know, side note. I really wish Apple included these black Lightning cables in the box of the iPhones, even just the black iPhones because they look much sharper than the white ones in my opinion.

There is currently no support for any assistant other than Siri if you have Hey Siri activated on your iPhone, although you can call it at any time to activate it through your power beats pros. In terms of other functions, the power beats Pro feels a bit Empty, there are no apps for the headphones, but you can control some things from the Bluetooth menu. You can turn auto-detect on or off, which will automatically switch audio from whatever device is currently streaming audio to your headphones when you put them on. You can also change which microphone will be active in each ear and you can create a custom name for your headphones.
The microphone quality is good. You won't win any prizes anytime soon, but the person on the other end will be able to hear you. Okay, the other feature it has is that it can recognize when you take the headphones out of your ears and it will pause your music when you do, so that's cool, but that's it, there's no equalizer of its own unless you count the one. Found in the settings in the music app, there's no active noise cancellation or anything else you might find when buying other headphones, but that doesn't necessarily mean the Power Beats Pro are really bad for the right person.
It's pretty good, the ear hook design that Apple put in these headphones works very very well, these headphones don't come out of your ears unless you deliberately take them out and they are so comfortable that you can put them on and even forget they are That's if you have them on for long enough, that's where the title of

Now, the part of the

review

you were probably waiting for, is this. Beats and, as the name implies, tend to have a bit more bass; However, unlike most other Beats headphones I've tried in the past, the bass isn't terribly overwhelming, it just has a little more presence than most other headphones. Someone who exercises a lot, it is good that it is forceful and that the sound has a little emotion. Dialogue from a TV show or movie also sounds decent and the extra bass doesn't bother me on either of those. The only thing that bothers me is the volume, while the maximum volume of the Power Beats Pro is quite high and can be a little overwhelming if you are sitting in a quiet room.
The same can't be said if you're running. on a loud treadmill or you're working out loud at the gym, in my experience the music volume was turned up enough to block out the noise from my treadmill, but there were times when I wish I could have go up a little more, like I said. Before, the earbuds don't have any type of active noise cancellation, so you'll be relying on the seal the earbud makes over your ear canal to give you some passive cancellation, which isn't exactly ideal, especially considering the fact that than the newly released headphones.
The sony WF 1000 xm3 headphones give you that active cancellation at a more affordable price. Battery life is a solid pro, although Beats claims a nine-hour battery life with mixed use that can be extended up to 24 hours using the charging case even better than that, but the charging case gives them a The earbuds get an hour and a half of playtime for just five minutes of charging time, so they charge incredibly fast. If you suddenly find yourself with dead earbuds, it's not a big inconvenience to put your beats in the charging case for a while. a few minutes before your workout, so for the average joe who wants a pair of headphones to take to the gym or when out running, these headphones are a decent buy;
However, for the casual user just looking for a pair of headphones for their daily commute I wouldn't necessarily recommend them given the fact that they don't have active noise cancellation and lose a bit of sound if I had to mention beforehand that it's not the game of ideal headphones for daily use that's why I would look more at the Sony WF 1000 XM three. I have the WH 1000 XM 3 and the noise cancellation on these guys is next level for us, so I have high hopes for the little headphones. Don't disappoint me, Sony, that's it, guys, what do you do? think about the power beats pros, how the beats finally

made

a decent pair of ears, are these just another pair of expensive apple headphones?
