SHOWDOWN: Airpods Pro VS Powerbeats Pro!

What's going on guys, the travel consumer and we have these guys in the house, the new Apple Earpods Pro? Today we're going to go over all of its features and everything it can do, and at the same time compare it to these guys over here. power beats Pro now this makes sense because these are probably the best headphones that Apple sells right now and since they are both in the same price range, it's about time we find out which one is better, so let's first talk about the design of the new ones air pods. Pro, now they have a very different design.

You'll notice that they have these silicone tips, so they're on earbuds now, which will make them a lot easier to keep in your ear and they look pretty similar to something I imagined. He made a video about it a few months ago, Apple please tell me lots of jokes, other than they now have the in-ear design so they will be able to stay in the ear a lot easier now that the internet has advanced a bit. A little crazy with the overall design, not everyone is too crazy about it. Personally, I don't think they look that bad, but when you have them in your ear, they look like shorter headphones, so oh my, I thought about all the air conditioning. it just cuts out when I put them in my ears because they have active noise cancellation, so in the looks department everyone has something bad to say right now because it's Apple, but give it a few months and when it's in everyone's ears it will .

I'll probably stop hearing about it, but when it comes to these power beats Pro right here, I have to say they are a nice-looking pair of headphones. These particular ones have been customized by color, which makes them look amazing, but overall they're just the regular black ones. They look great in the ear and they have a really nice overall design and this is something we're quite used to seeing, we have that ear hook design so it stays in place without a problem and we'll talk about that. comfort in a second, but for the most part these are a nice-looking pair of headphones, now fundamentally, these two differ in terms of design in how you control them, so on the Air Pods Pro you have this very nice capacitive force sensor.

If you want to control your music, your taps will look like this: you hold the back of the stem and then you tap this little panel that has here and this is where you tap it to have all these different controls like play pause. I have a little chart so you can see all the different controls you can do with this, but this is how you activate it now. It seems a little strange because it requires two fingers, but it also makes sense since they are on the earbuds and the position is so important that you can't just touch them anymore because that could change the position slightly and alter the seal and quality of the sound you get from them. these, so now Apple requires you to hold a stem and a nice If you touch it like this, it keeps the headphones in place and allows you to control them as you need, no big deal.

I think most people will get used to that pretty quickly and it makes sense, but when it comes to power beats Pro things are a little different, you have physical buttons, you have the volume control right on the top as well as a normal play and pause button with a little beep, now you have those same controls on both sides Just like with the Air Pods Pro you can now control them from either earbud, since the Air Pods Pro are still pretty new it will take me a bit It takes time to see which one feels more natural, but I don't think I would have done it.

that now they can finally stay inside my ears and they do a very, very good job of staying in place, so I'm very, very happy. With that, I don't feel like they slip at all so that's amazing, this is everything I wanted the Air Pods to be so kudos to Apple for finally doing it, although I gave some hints but I'm very happy with the design they Apple really did. There's something interesting with the design here for comfort because when you take them off, you'll notice that there isn't a huge stem on the earbuds, but if we take a look at the Power Beats Pro, this is the typical look for in-ear headphones.

The earbuds have this long stem that sits inside your ear canal and that's what helps the music go directly to your ear. You don't have that here at all and Apple made this on purpose for people who don't like that feeling of having something very deep lodged in their ears, you have this design, but what that means here is that you have these silicone tips that don't They're like nothing we've ever seen before, so Apple creates a design where you can actually just snap into place and stay there, but this also means you won't be able to grab any ear pads you've had in the past and just replace it.

For now, they're pretty much proprietary until someone comes up. on Amazon and you know, it makes copies and you can get about 80 of them for about 3 dollars, so until that time comes you have to be careful not to lose these tips unless Apple starts selling some extras and Apple has actually created something inside the settings on the iPhone to make sure it fits well in the air so when you go into the settings on the air pods Pro you will notice that there is an ear tips fit test and with this test basically You can place the ear tips inside your ear and using the sensors on the headphones will determine whether or not you have the correct fit or if you need to use one of the included eartips, either smaller or larger, to achieve the correct fit. correct fit, so it's pretty clear to see. that Apple paid a lot of attention to the comfort and the way they fit in the ear because if they are not comfortable you are not going to enjoy them and it also affects the sound quality now that it is the Power Beats Pro. the overall design seems like a no-brainer In the comfort department, you have the ear hooks that ensure they stay in your ears, but for me I can only wear them for about an hour at a time before they start to hurt and I think that's because This part of the earpiece here digs into my ears a little more than normal headphones, so I can't leave them on as long as I would like, but they will surely stay in place, but they tend to hurt and tire my ear a little after a while, so the Air Pods Pro so far I find them a little bit more comfortable and the last thing we're going to talk about in terms of the overall design here is these guys, the cases, as well as you.

You can clearly see that one is quite a bit larger than the other. The Air Pods case actually looks like a normal pair of headphones but just flipped over and that's great because it makes putting them inside your pocket or anywhere you want pretty simple and you won't even know it. It's no bother, but this guy is quite bulky. I usually ended up having to throw it in a large jacket pocket or my backpack, so this one is definitely not as travel-friendly now when it comes to features, both are Apple-equipped. h1 chip which basically allows it to pair very quickly with an Apple product and also allows both to activate Siri just by saying the phrase hey, they are also sweat and water resistant so if you want to work out in these, that's not it.

It's going to be a pain and they also have the awesome feature of being able to take one of them out of your ear and it will automatically pause your music and when you put it back in it will play it again so that's all pretty cool but that's where the features of this end. the power beats pro and these end up with a lot more so these guys have active noise cancellation which you saw when I put it on during the video and I got a save from my short time with It looks really good.

I was able to completely block my Uber music and only listen to my own, but not only does it have an active noise cancellation mode, it also has a transparency mode, so if you're on the run and want to. to bring the sound effects of our sound effects, if you want to bring the sounds from outside and you want to hear like the cars passing by, make sure you don't have any accidents, you will be able to do it and I will tell you guys, so the transparency mode on this It's legit. I was able to hold conversations with this and it sounded completely natural.

Many headphones with this feature will amplify people's voices and make it sound like they have supersonic hearing. This sounded completely natural. I think Apple really nailed the transparency mode on this, so far from what I've seen it's a really good implementation of the feature and what's also pretty cool is that you can easily control this feature by entering the control center by long pressing the volume. and now it has active noise canceling transparency or you can just turn off the function completely so it's really simple and easy to access and if you don't want to do that of course you can just long press the stem and turn the function activated you will hear a little beep and that's how you know it's faded.

So far, Apple's implementation of transparency and noise cancellation modes has been really impressive for me, of course, I will spend more time with it. I have a flight. It will be interesting to see how it performs on the plane later, but so far I'm really impressed. Another interesting feature that the Air Pods Pro have is the announced messages, so with this feature you can have Siri read them. turn off messages coming to you, and of course you can select who you want to hear these messages from so you can choose your favorite recent contacts, things like that to make sure they're not just reading you random messages all day.

That's a nice feature. I think if you're running or busy and don't have access to your phone, it will be a good way to stay connected without necessarily having your phone in your hand. Something amazing, would you use it? I won't say more, as far as features, although Apple owns Beats and they have that deep integration with the h1 chip, they saved a lot of the good things for the Pro earpods now, of course, there is no way for us to talk about this without talking. About the battery life with the air pods Pro you get five hours of use and with active noise cancellation you get four and a half hours of use with the travel case you get additional charges that will total up to 24 hours of use while the power beats The Pro is still pretty much the champ here and will give you nine hours of use on a single charge, but with the travel case you'll get a total of 24 hours just like with the Pro air pods and both have a quick charge feature, if you put the earbuds inside their case for about five minutes with the

you'll get an hour of listening and the power beats pro you'll get an hour and a half so as far as battery life goes even if you get 24 hours between both with the travel cases, the power beat Pro, initially you get a little bit more directly from the earbuds and you get faster click charging, but one thing that the air pods Pro have under their belt is the fact that it has wireless charging, so I have a wireless charging desk here and you guys can see the Air Pod pros are charging here and that's a feature that you're not going to get with these guys, but they both use Lightning cables.

For charging surprisingly, this comes with a Lightning USB C2 cable without the iPhone 11, although now of course we have to talk about the sound quality, which is the most important thing. The Air Pods Pro actually have incredible sound quality. Now I compared them. a lot and I'll be honest with you between the power beats Pro and the air pods Pro. I had a surprisingly hard time seeing what the real difference was, but the fact that the sound quality here competes with the power beats Pro is shocking because these have a quality Incredible sound, the vocals are very clear, they have pretty decent bass, these bass did not come in and make the sound muddy in any way.

I'm here for it all day, believe me, I love bass and I was very impressed by the fact that the air capsules can rival the bees, so I say that to say that they have really good sound quality. If you're trying to choose between the two, we're simply going to go by sound quality. I don't think you can go wrong. You'll be hard-pressed to tell the difference between the two, so with that being said, I think you'll want to take into account things like portability features, those are the kinds of things that really make the decision here sound quality, honestly, to me.

Right now it's so similar that you'll want to take everything else into consideration, but if I had to choose between the two, which one would I go with? Honestly, it's pretty easy at this point. I think I would go with the air pods Pro I know, I really like them a lot, but the fact that I can use them for a longer period of time without worrying about them hurting my ears and those extra features almost feels like a no-brainer, honestly, Do they leave it?
