PART ONE: We Remember the Great Kobe BryantMay 10, 2020
Of course everyone has heard the tragic news about the passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, she was 13 years old and seven other souls. Now LAPD has not released the official names of the victims but they are making the rounds but we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers as I will I thought today would be a day to celebrate Kobe because we all know what happened but it's just a reminder of his achievements and why so many people were affected by it, even if you didn't like basketball, you know? Kobe Bryant was a five-time NBA champion, a four-time All-Star MVP winner, an 18-time All-Star team, an Olympic Games gold medalist, and most recently a father, husband, and son, we want to offer our condolences to his family to vanessa to her daughters to her mother pam to brian and her father joe brian and her two sisters we are only in our thoughts and prayers at this time may god support and guide you ladies i believe that when things are like this this event it really puts into perspective so many things we should be thankful for in our lives every day.
I think a lot of people are on Instagram that a quote was going around a lot that said we take it for granted that we just safely leave our house every day. and i think that really puts into perspective what matters in life and to me he even being with his daughter was like family matters so to me that's what matters and you have to decide for yourself what is most important to you today If you didn't know that tomorrow was promised, how would you spend today? you can't help but feel the wait for this woman for her sons for her family for her daughters I actually had the chance to meet Kobe Bryant and his wife and daughter because they were fans of Cheetah Girl and when we did An aheim they came and met us and they greeted us and then I got to meet them again with Miley and just Vanessa was the sweetest woman I can
rememberseeing her outside a J&B concert at Staples Center and she just stood with me and talked to me so if I'm feeling this sadness i can't begin to imagine what he's going through so i can't even understand how his pain feels so sadly he says a lot of people beg thoughts and prayers but like him real man like really really just take a moment and pray for them today as i know we say it and post it on instagram but really take a moment to pray for them and i hope god can give them the strength to get through this yeah
bryantit's literally Los Angeles and the crazy thing is I don't know if you guys saw it but on the day our weather started yesterday it was really heavy and obviously when you get the news you felt it all day long.
rememberyou. he knows how to go out on sunday and everywhere you f the morning you felt the city of the world we lost a lot and i remember there is a quote a reporter asked him you know do you wish you had kids because we know he has four beautiful daughters and he said he No, I have daughters? that could carry on my legacy and it's just that I couldn't help but think about what you can do as a parent at that point like what do you what what can you do feel helpless in this situation of tragedy and then obviously put that behind you, so I mean very deep regret and it makes me reflect on my family and loved ones and how rushed I always am and how and how fleeting it all feels and and if anything I'm just holding on to God to remind me every day that I need to be as present as possible and know that life is too short to make sure that you tell your loved ones that you love them.
You know when these things happen, you know there are members of my family who might hold grudges, you know they hold bitterness in their hearts, and when these things happen, you know it just changes your perspective, and as you were saying, Adrian, let's not assume that you know the card drive home or flight home after seeing your family and my heart
