The way we teach things. and everything we do is based on a set of principles because we have discovered that after going bankrupt and losing everything, that made me stop, that was 25 years ago, it made me stop and look at what the conventional wisdom says and I have decided that the Conventional wisdom is an oxymoron Conventional wisdom makes people typical, average, mediocre and idiotic.

, but normal is not good. The norm in the United States today is that 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck according to the Wall Street Journal. The normal thing in the United States today is that bankruptcies increase almost every year. The normal thing in America today is that people work their whole lives and retire and say, "I hope the government." who is well known for his ability to handle money, he will take care of me, it is normal in America today, it is the number one cause of divorce in North America, it is their number one cause of divorce, it is fights over money and problems of money, the normal thing in America today is this stupid ass. belief that you can't be a student without a student loan, the normal thing in the United States today is to carry so many credit cards in your hip pocket that it unbalances you and you have to see a chiropractor.

The normal in America today is a car with a payment. and I have no idea that I will ever live without a car payment, the normal thing in America today is that I will buy all the house I can buy as soon as I can, regardless of how broke I am and then I can . I don't understand why I'm broke and why this house is a curse to me. It's normal America today is broke and it

. Looking good and having no money, big hat, no, no cattle, that's normal, so don't talk to me about normal.

I don't want to be normal I don't want you to be normal and if you ask me questions about how you can be more normal you're not going to like the answers normal doesn't work doesn't work and keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a difference, a different result is the definition of insanity the 12 steps say and they are right, that is stupid, if you keep doing what you have been doing you will continue to get what you have been doing. You don't like where you are, you need to change the recipe, that's your life, you have to change what you're doing.

I'm so stupid. I started with nothing and became a millionaire when I was 26 years old. old man I did it all at the bar borrowed money that's how dumb I am I had a net worth of a million dollars but I was still broke how dumb it is that the banks sold themselves to another bank they called the bills I spent the next two and a half years of my life losing everything I had I was 26 years old I made $250,000 that year 27 years old I made $6,000 in cash taxable income I've done what the t-shirt got I know what it looks like stupid up close and personal I've seen it in my mirror I know what it looks like stupid I know what it feels like to be so scared you can't breathe Sharon would have left me but she didn't have the money she had no way to leave I really get it I get it and when that happened to me I learned that all the things she tells you about half the financial planning community are ridiculous and stupid.

The things Money magazine tells you are ridiculous and stupid. Have you ever listened to someone? That being said, I read Money magazine and it seriously changed my life. The typical conventional, boring and normal ones. Financial advice sucks because it creates typical normal, conventional people. It's not working well. Dave, you're just a little radical and you're out there in Ed, no. I'm just not normal if you want to call that radical you can call it but normal it sucks who wants to be normal I found out the Bible says the borrower is a slave to the lender God is smarter than you and if you don't believe he is there he is much smarter than you God is smart the borrower is a slave to the lender In the house of the wise there are stores of choice food and oil a foolish man devours everything he has save money don't get into debt don't spend everything you have make God love a cheerful Giver always be generous with your giving have a plan Jesus said don't build a tower without first counting the cost L you get halfway and you can't finish and everyone who sees you starts making fun of you and Let's say there's another normal person because you live without a plan.

You never build a house without a blueprint and you go through four, five or 10 million incomes in your life and you never write it down once. That's the definition of stupid. I was doing it, that's how I lived and if you live that way you're stupid, too stupid. People don't win in life or money until they learn to have quality relationships, they learn to treat other people, people learn to be. a good husband a good wife a good son a good daughter a good mom a good dad a good employee a good employer good people advance in this world I know you watch so much television that you believe otherwise some of you have lost your soul to reality TV shows that's not reality, can't you tell when someone is reading a script?

You are so dumb? So we establish these basic principles in our life. We don't borrow money. We always give. We live according to a written plan. borrow money we always always always give a minimum as an evangelical Christian it is a tithe for my local church that is my starting point minimum we always always always always save and invest always of every dollar we earn something is saved and invested something is given to us we always have a plan written on paper on purpose before the month starts we always realize that relationships Trump's money relationships are the only things that are real, they matter, we are not transactional and it is more important to be a good dad than to be a rich dad , it is more important to be a good mother than to be a rich mother, think about how you treat the people who work on your team, those of you who call themselves leaders and maybe are just a boss.

Relationships are a matter in which we always live. less than we earn, no matter what we earn, we are going to live on less than that, we will adjust the lifestyle until it is below what we earn and these days substantially below what we earn, it would be absurd to try spend what we earn. Do now what has resulted in over 25 years of living this way since I ran my life into the wall like a NASCAR and blew it up in the stands. What has living debt free, living on a budget, living with less resulted in?

You should always save, always give and always value quality relationships, what results in wealth and that is the formula for generating wealth, so forgive me if I think the little points on your credit card are stupid, forgive me if I don't. I don't agree with this idea that you want to borrow money to get your education because I don't think you should be stupid when you are getting your education, forgive me if I think when you rent your car it makes you look superficial because you are defining yourself by what you drive and you're driving something you can't afford because you didn't pay for it, forgive me if I figured out how this works and I'm trying to get you to do it on your own.
