My 100 Wand Collection Part 1: Ollivanders Wand Boxes

Jun 08, 2021
Hello, welcome back to the channel. My name is Michael and today we are filming a very special video. I just acquired my 100th Harry Potter

wand

. I'm very excited and today I'm going to show you all 100 of the

wand

s that are in my

collection

, so I'm a Ravenclaw and I want to rate this almost immediately. I actually have over 100 wands the way I do my system and I'm going to link a link to my Google Doc that I use to keep track of the

collection

in the description of this video so you can use it as your own reference and see how I'm organizing things, but I don't count in my collection things that have been made for me by really talented wan makers or that I've purchased.

I also don't count things like promotional wands as very special wands like this one I showed in a previous Sorceress' Leap video. premiere, these will be the wands sold under license that the Universal Studios noble collection will sell, it was in the World of Harry Potter wands and then also the cursed children's wands, those are my list of all the ones that I am trying to collect and So , when I say a hundred, I mean those, so I actually have more than that, but anyway, these are the ones we're going to talk about today, so I'll go through each one of the hundred and then, if they gave it to me, I'm going to try to remember to mention that someone gave it to me and if I have any special kind of little stories or something with each wand because each one has little stories and I'm surrounded by them right now.

More Interesting Facts About,

my 100 wand collection part 1 ollivanders wand boxes...

I'm really excited to show them to everyone, but they're all around me and I've never had so many in one place before, so let's dive into it, so the noble collection is really the largest source of wands that are available, so the noble collection started selling replica Harry Potter wands right around the time the Prisoner of Azkaban was freed, which is why you don't see bonds like Gilderoy Lockhart's being sold because they didn't get similar licensing rights. I started making the wands until the Prisoner of Azkaban so it was the first one I got and some of you might recognize this so you see the box here so they all came in Ollivanders in one box so like in the first movies, I'm the king with ribbons and everything and that's going to be Harry Potter's wand and this Harry one was the first one I got.

Actually, this is not my first Harry Potter wand, so my first kind of wand story is the first Harry Potter wand I ever had, so I had it for a while and you know, I collect some because I just enjoy it. have them. I enjoy shaking them and playing with them, so my first Harry Potter said it's actually made of wood. You see this axis here. It's actually like this is wood, the first noble collection I wanted was actually made of wood, so they're not made like that anymore, so the first one I had I sat on.
my 100 wand collection part 1 ollivanders wand boxes
I had him sitting on the couch at my grandparents' house. and I sat on it and I broke the wood right there and I was devastated and my grandpa was really like he was in a bad mood all day and my grandpa really wasn't, it was like telling me to cheer up so he thought I was being very dramatic, but he just didn't understand, you know, like Harry Potter's wand. I was very sad about it, so this is not the first. I actually buried my first wand so I had a full funeral and everything necessary so I guess my grandfather was right, I was a little dramatic but this is my second Harry Potter wand which is in Halle Van's box der and it is still very special to me, especially because it is made of wood, since they do not already like it a lot so that will be the first, the second one that I will have is also one of my favorites, which will be Lord Voldemort's wand, so I bought this one for Christmas the year after I got the one from Harry, my parents.
They gave me the Harry one and then they gave me the Voldemort one, so it's one of my favorites. I love it because I play Tom Riddle because I can hold his wand with his long fingers like the hook around the end. Such a cool design. I love when they introduced this. and come on, but a fire and very cool, I think the next one I got was Christmas after that or something historical that starts to blur, but that will be Albus Dumbledore's wish or the Elder Wand, so the box in the one coming is very Dumbledore and of course you may already know this but the designers of this wand used only triangles, circles and lines in this decoration and they didn't know about the Deathly Hallows symbol when they were making this accessory.
JK Rowling hadn't told anyone about it. yet or even if she knew what the design was going to be at the time, but it's a pretty good coincidence that that's what they use, it's just lines of circles and triangles like the Deathly Hallows sign, but this is really cool, it's also I love having several places to highlight, having Voldemort, many more holes, Wang, so cool, like how he holds it up here or lower down, such a cool wand, I'm really glad to have this in the collection too from one of the earliest beginnings and I think we're continuing the trend of Christmas presents being McGonigle's wand, so this is Minerva McGonagall, one of my favorite characters in the entire series.
She has a really cool wand, this little gnarled beam on the end has broken. I removed it many times, had to hot glue it on, and re-glued it many times, so I'm very careful holding it now where I keep my fingers here because it's a little awkward to hold, but hers is another really cool one. You love the shape of it, you love the design, so his was from the Chamber of Secrets, but because he continued in the arena, he continued to hold it after the Chamber of Secrets, that's where the whole thing happened. the Prisoner of Azkaban license.
Hooch Lockhart waves the first wand things like that, you don't really see the ones sold by Noble Collection because they weren't loaded into the first two movies, they didn't actually transfer to those licensing rights and I think we're running out of order now because with what that I'm starting with this video I'm doing all the noble collection that the noble collection wants first and those are going to start with Ollivanders wand

boxes

and this is Slughorn. Slughorn was in an Ollivander box and then the slime. trace there and then his little slimy eyes on the top very cool design great to hold and then on his green and velvet box just like his pajamas probably a

part

from Harry's all the Ollivanders

boxes

have the same sticker on the end as the same design so Harry's has a unique design so that's where you know you're looking at his if it's on your shelf all the others blend in but they have different colors and then once When you open it inwards, you can also distinguish the color, etc.
Next we will have Severus Snape, a kind of dwarf, but he has a very complex handling, it is nothing, it is a

part

icular image, it could simply be based on something that I do not know and it is a bit of Evangel ER or fatherly. How do you pronounce it when it's not really a circle? It's like flattening the sides with the widest thing, kind of a short handle, small and tiny, but the one that killed Dumbledore. Ugh, but that one is great too. Now we have the brightest and craziest one. hallway box like a fluorescent yellow box and who else would it be but Draco Malfoy.
I don't know why they gave him the brass box. I'd ask what he has anyway, so this wasn't a third wand introduced into the Chamber of Secrets. carried over to the rest of the franchise and therefore fairly simple, most of the early secrets of the Philosopher's Stone or the Philosopher's Stone and the chamber were once quite simple, so most of those carried over from there they have this kind of more simplistic design, but I like it because it's kind of a more classic look, a good grip right there with the two rings, a very good one too, we have a serious Lex wand, another very popular, very popular, sold in Wizarding World and very popular among the wands in the noble collection.
And this wand is my original, so I put it in the box when boxes still came out like this, but it's also part of the Marauders Wan set that I'll show later in the video. so there's a lot of swirls, a lot of swirls happening and then this cool runic design that I have a couple of friends who have this as a tattoo, so I think it's amazing, like the temptation that goes up his arm. I think it's a great idea, just great. I don't actually have any tattoos, um, Haley has a wand tattoo on her foot, but I don't have any, I don't have any tattoos, let's see how Haley talks, this is the first one she got on me, so this is It's going to be Narcisse's wand.
She got this from me when we started dating and bought it as food for Christmas, so isn't she thoughtful? This is Narcisse's wand. Very small. Very small handle. Very uncomfortable to hold but very rich in elegant appearance. A pretty basic black handle and then very awkward uh berry pokey, so Draco uses this in a Deathly Hallows part 2, but I think it doesn't also get lost in the demon fire, so this one has toast too, oh yeah, but yeah, that's the first one Haley bought me, so it's very special and the last one I have in the Ollivanders wand boxes.
There were others sold in a box from Ollivanders. I just saw a Cho Chang that was available on eBay today for about $200 and maybe one. day, but right now I already have shows, so I'm fine, but I just made a video about this one. This will be the design for Mad Eye's moody wands, the Goblet of Fire design, the only one in the movies we actually have. I see it as very short, very stocky and stocky, very Jabby, but this made me very happy to get my hands on this one because it is no longer available.
This design is not sold at all in either the tape box or the sneaker boxes I purchased. I'm about to show it off, so you can check out my other video where I show this and talk about all the different moody designs, so that's all the ones I have in the Ollivanders tape box. They've reintroduced the tape box with the Fantastic Beasts and Crimes of Grindelwald wands, but we're going to go into them a little bit back in my pocket, right there, which is overflowing, so now we'll move on to the receipt boxes, so the receipt boxes are the ones It seems like these are the most commonly sold ones now from the noble collection so I call it a slide box because it has this slotted box so it's just cartons they all have this it's just a black Standard, I don't.
I think it has some kind of identification on it, this one has a sticker so you can see that maybe it's Bill Weasley and then it's the actual box from the noble collection that has the character's name there on a shiny sticker each creation of the famous wand and then on the inside you will have, instead of a velvet and satin ribbon, this usually has a protective layer of styrofoam to protect it from the top, a plastic mold wrapped in plastic that will fit that wand individually. and then the noble collection bonuses also come with these little clamps and they are meant to go with the noble collection wand displays that they sell so you can clamp this to the little part of the bar that is part of that so you can Identify each wand. since making my own displays I haven't actually bought any from a noble collection so none of these have had any use but they are nice they are quite pretty and if you want to buy the noble collections displays or maybe you want . to incorporate them into yours, unless I can do something, but I don't use any of them, so they just stay on slippery boxes, so now let's address all the slider boxes I have, so let's start with mine , you can't see my stack, but it's really big, I love seeing them all together right now, oh there's so many, so let's just start with the one on the left, so that'll be Cho.
Chang so Cho Chang swanned is very cute, this is one that used to be sold in the ribbon boxes but is no longer sold so this one is now only sold in the slide boxes but there are many different designs there and this is her . The type of shaft design here is used a lot with the universal park ones, which we'll get to later in the video, so you may have thought of that design before if you've been to the parks, but the handle is also very comfortable because it has those swirls on the end, so pick one.
I guess we'll stick with the students theme, so next up will be Seamus Finnegan's wand. Seamus is quite small, it has a tiny handle with a swirl design on there and quite small, this kind of marble look makes me think of an Egyptian tomb or something like the mummy ride at Universal Studios with some kind of knot and there for Sheamus and then we can make Seamus, his best friend. Dean Thomas and Dean Thomas said I really like his wand, it has that really cool twisted root design, a really interesting kind of knob on the top and I seem to like an octopus or something like that hanging on to a wand. and and I was like so I really like yours so it's from Dean Thomas so this is technicallyfrom Haley, but you know we all share this, we all share, but this one has Luna Lovegood's tulip wand and her tulip wand is very common now, so no.
I've never actually seen this in any of the Harry movies. Potter, so this is the one Ollivander does to him after they were rescued from Malfoy Manor. He makes her a new wand so he can fight in the Battle of Hogwarts, we never see her use this one but this is the one sold individually. We'll get to Dumbledore's Army set where you can see his original wand, but this is the one that, you know, has never been seen, but it's labeled Lunas, it's kind of like Maddy Moody's, we wonder why there are so many designs that are never seen, but now I'm glad we can see them because it's outdoors so it's also very fragile.
We've had to repair this one several times so if you bought this one be careful because or have glue on hand because you'll need it if you drop it next. We have a probe. They are deeper until another excellent one. I bought this at Universal Studios, which I generally don't recommend universal park. The character wands there actually cost extra than what you can get from the noble collection, so it's more expensive to just buy character wands. Universal than it is to buy them directly from the noble collection. Don't worry, even with shipping it's still cheaper, but you still know that here in the park you want to buy a magic wand to do it, so it's got that really cool dragon wing there. of a very unique and fun wrapped design and really fun to hold to wrap your fingers around those dots and as I review all of this I realize that this video is probably going to be a lot longer than I thought.
After all, it's 100, so what I think I'm going to do is split this into probably four different videos. I think I'm going to cut it here, so see you next time, keep the magic alive and us. I'll see you later
