Trash nachos that look like a trash can, maybe they look like they were in a trash can, but they will taste a lot better than that and you just have to take my word for it on that part, that's okay, because you won't be able to taste it. through the screen you can follow the recipe that I encourage you to follow and be cool, you know, take a photo of your version, let me, maybe I'll like it and respond and say hello, thank you for this interaction I really enjoyed. It's not that sarcastic, I really enjoy it when you guys make these recipes so that's what we're going to do, it's kind of an easy recipe and I think in the end it could all come crashing down at once if you get the trash can part wrong. so let's hope we don't screw it up, but let's also not get too upset if we do because if there's one dish that even I could screw up it's a trash dish, let us see, yeah, oh, here we go again, boy, here it probably says.

When I'm about to make garbage nachos for the millionth time, I think what we'll do is start by preparing the black beads. I'm going to start with the most boring part and end with the craziest part which is the garbage. so we're going to need a couple cans of black beans and we're going to heat them up, but real quick for this recipe more or less the ingredients are going to be sour cream hot foods cheese nacho cheese black beans cilantro pico de gallo I'm not even I'm not counting anymore fingers, I just have my hand with my fingers, tortilla chips, oregano, pickled red onions in a trash can, so we're going to take our hands of black beans and we're going to take the lids off.
making guy fieri s trash can nachos
I'm going to use two cans I feel like that's an adequate amount of black beans there aren't that many beans in one can let's drain these draining sounds sounds disgusting actually now obviously we're going to put our own spin on this recipe because not Guy Fieri and it's going to be the twist. Plant based number one, we're not going to refresh our beans because I have a way of making black beans that really doesn't take much time and I think it's just as good, we're just going to cook them. these in a pot over medium heat for about 10 minutes stirred with a little olive oil, chili powder and salt and that's it, the second change we will make is to omit the breast, obviously, and the third chain we will make is We will not use our spiked blonde style hair, but that's it, everything else is going to be exactly the same, so we're just going to sprinkle a little bit of olive oil here and we're going to turn around to make some quick 1/ 8 take our secret ingredient chili Pete , chili Pete, put some pea chili in here.
I think it really makes the black beans not taste a little bland, so give it a healthy amount and then we'll give it a healthy amount of salt. well, my favorite thing to do is buy low sodium black beans and then just add salt to them and stick it to the man, you know, low sodium, make sure of that, are you sure about that? I did a little research when I was researching this recipe and I saw that he cooked them live with Kelly and Ryan from those non-Americans, it's a talk show with famous people and then also the wonderful Bon Appetit recreated this dish in their really creative way.
I'm not going to spoil it, but they made a really cool video about nachos in the trash can, so I watched both videos and thought I'd put my own spin on it, which is a combination of doing the bare minimum but also giving it our best shot and film. something in slow motion, so that's the Aries kitchen seal of approval, actually this is going a little too slow for my liking, so we're going to multitask while we do this. I'm going to add into our blender the ingredients for the spicy cheese hops for cheese what we're going to add here the ingredients for the spicy food nacho cheese sauce, which I've made so many times that I'm not actually going to go over all the ingredients.
I'll link the recipe below, but I prepped the ingredients, so here the potatoes and the carrots, the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients, all ready and prepared, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to mix this together while we cook this, so BRB we're just multitasking here okay that's it we're multitasking aka the only way I know how to do things otherwise I get bored and tired so this is partially done, we're going to We're going to add some things and make it different a little bit later right now, we're going to finish the black beans, they look like a black hat and stuff, we're just going to pour them into this little mold and save them for later, okay , here what we are going to do.
What we're going to do is pour out our spicy nacho cheese sauce that we made like I said before on this show. This is just the first part here because this is where we're going to transform our cheese sauce into a different cheese, so we're going to do that by adding more cheese. It's called cheese science. I looked up what will happen to our lovely and lovely violife cheese. We have mozzarella, cheddar, violife and feta, which tastes a little like goat cheese, but it will give us. a different kind of flavor, so that's what we're going to do now: we're just going to add a little bit of cheese to this and it's going to turn into a cheese sauce that's maybe a little bit thicker but also a lot tastier.
I had two, one of our regular cheese sauce because Guy Fieri is here. I'm trying to impress him okay don't embarrass me please and let's turn this on medium low and we'll just let it go and mix it in hopefully this cheese will melt even though it's fake we'll see but the point of this is to make it a little more dimensional with its flavor because I know one guy liked a smoked gouda mix of a bunch of cheeses and I'm like, dude, I can't. I make just one cheese, I have to make some and then add them, that's the best I can and this is almost ready, but I'm going to let it simmer while we prepare the rest of the ingredients and then I'll start making the nachos.
See you in a moment, so I'm going to grab a container and I'm going to pour this pre-made pico de gallo into it, but again, just like the cheese, we're not done here, we're going to add some of our own flair to it. I'm too lazy to make it from scratch, but I'm not entirely satisfied with just using store bought, so I'm making some. I'm doing a bit of a middle ground here. I'm going to have some radishes. I'm going to take about two or three small radishes. These are radishes, right? I know what fruits and vegetables are.
You're going to wash the dirt and things like that off the radishes because they're probably dirty and we're just. We're going to cut these bad boys very finely, it's time honey to get some parchment paper. I'm not even going to tell you what we're doing, we're just going to have to do it and see what happens, okay, let's put down the parchment paper. in this big pan of oil, take our tortilla chips and we're going to disperse them all evenly in the pan. Well, pretty much this is about to get really crazy, really fast, so buckle up, okay, we're going to put all our cheddar cheese on top. this beautiful mess of fries why every time I think of nachos I think of stepbrothers.
Next we're going to do some mozzarella, not as much as the cheddar, but enough to give it a little mix, a little bit of diversity of cheeses. I said we're moving fast, they're going to take our black beans and we're going to put them evenly on top as well, so the idea is to make the nachos in a giant pan like this and put all the ingredients you need. cook or microwave or bake or whatever into this and then throw it in the oven and then at the end when we do our crazy trash can trick, we're going to add the fresh ingredients right, oh wait, what?
Are we still paying attention? Everyone leave, will anyone sit here? this cheese sauce is really something special it's really something oh I didn't preheat the damn oven we have to preheat the oven so I'm going to whip this up for 10 minutes straight non stop holy shit okay. the jokes aren't worth it okay the last thing we're going to do before we put this in the oven is drizzle our wonderful cheese sauce that we worked so hard on all over this nacho mess so here we go and you're going to Save a some cheese sauce for the operation later, so let's open the oven and put them in for a few minutes until the cheese starts to melt and we'll be on our way, honey.
One very quick thing we can do while we wait is take some sour cream sprinkle a little salt add a little water and beat all this use a very small mold the size of this mold doesn't even make sense and we will try to beat inside it and It will give you a more cream-like texture, like a softer texture, a little more runny, because that's the actual ingredient that you want, like a cream on top. We have this so we're going to turn it into one absolutely in an incredibly small mold and a giant whisk and voila that really looks and has the texture of a perfect cream so I'm really proud of this so we're going to keep it here and it's going to be a dressing along with the Pico and one last thing we can do.
To prepare more trash can nachos is to prepare our trash can, this used to be a container for ground coffee and now it is not, so you will need something of this shape, something remotely of this size and shape to shape our nachos , the only thing that is us. I'm going to need to cut the bottom off because we need it to be a full cylinder with two open ends, so I'm going to take these kitchen scissors and punch a very, very strong hole. Actually, I don't know what to do here. Short? I didn't think this was going to be so hard, but holy, oh my god, this is a terrible idea, who let me do this?
Yeah, this wasn't smart, it definitely wasn't smart, oh my god, oh my god, this wasn't smart, don't do what. I did it because this leaves you with a really dangerous sharp mess that I now need to cover up, so what happens with this recipe and filming it is that I'm going to have a very small window that's going to remotely resemble a trash can. before it destroys itself and collapses and implodes and maybe makes a big mess, so let's do it with duct tape, something very useful, very useful, we'll take our probably too small plate and put it in the trash cans, okay and this. is where we're going to start stacking the food, so we'll start by making a layer of nacho cheese, then we'll do like most of the chips, another shape of nacho cheese, the rest of the chips that will fit and then we'll do the freshmen gradients like the Pico - sour cream, the cilantro poem, the pickled red onions that I made and also the jalapenos - this is when we do it to him, this is when it happens, okay, step 1, do a base layer of nacho cheese and I'll just spread it on the bottom and this will be kind of a service, maybe like a little bit of glue.
I think this is the same thing I'm doing right here. Let's throw our nachos in the trash, oh my god, let's throw our nachos in the trash, oh my god, this is going to be a lot of work, holy shit, okay, I don't love some of this cheese, please don't you get angry That I'm cheese, that's weird, I don't know, now we're going to make the rest of our nacho cheese. Oh, start drowning these in there, okay, throw them in the trash, it's trash day, take out the trash, I think that's it. About all the nachos we can fit in this little trash can, the rest we will have to put aside.
Now we're going to press it down a little bit so there's room and we're going to put in some Pico, some of our pickled red onions. Jalapenos and our creme fraiche, buddy, I think it's about to happen, here we go, it's time for the big finale. I can't believe we're going to do it, here we go, oh my god, it's come to life, man, it's like moving, it's like it looks weird. cadence but this seems crazy this is my calling making garbage can food I'm going to recreate every recipe in the world with this are you sure you want to know what nachos aregarbage can no garbage can ponchos Oh honey, it's a

Cheese for nachos, but I changed it, I added a lot of cheese, it's really good, Julie, I love it. when the nachos have cheese sauce but also fresh onion and fresh cilantro. I'm still not convinced that they should be presented this way. How it looks so pretty. It's like fresh peak. Okay, yes, it's cool peak. Sorry Pema, how do you eat this? I think you're doing well now. Did you smash the potatoes first? Not the dumpster notches. Does the presentation take away from the flavor? Look at it Julie, the nachos from the guys' trash can, you know, I walked in here and it looked like a bunch of food, like it's not right, this serves six people, that's what guys, here, a piece is family.
Just like an entire bar, get fries, yes, except they don't all fit in the trash can, as you can see on the left. Julianne, I want me to help you mmm spicy, why did you eat a plain olive? Daniel, how's the spicy wine? Well, don't look what you did. It's really unforgivable of you and Guy Fieri, but the flavors are so good, so good, monkey, see, monkey, you, monkey, you pee on yourself, pickled red onions, I run there, yeah, what do you think I'm a Kind of a trash can, I cook well, right? I'm Julian, you just put raw red onion in it like it's a pickle.
Yes, Julian, they are so good. I think Jenna likes it. Are allowed? Yes, they are shaped like a page. But we can edit that part later when she calls for food. like these Julian nachos are better than any nacho sold at any vegan place in the greater Los Angeles area that I've tried, it doesn't matter, watch out, I'm going for that nacho, wait, we've ordered nachos from a at a ton of different places and they're not they just don't do it right they don't do it right you know why because they don't know how to do it they don't know how to do it in the whole Ares kitchen is really like a good way to say "kids' kitchen" in the middle of a really disappointing presentation but very, very good flavors, okay, just try to imagine this well.
I'm sorry, but those are the reasons why they cut you off, imagine I'm going upstairs. and I give him this, here you go, here you have your appetizer, here you go, Julian, whatever you made, you can present it. I threw nachos in the trash, you gave me a starter on the plate, there you go, this episode is brought to you by the boys' grocery games, the boys come downstairs. and click the link if you want to cancel that tv show nothing I'm just kidding it's just going to be canceled Kyle this is the worst thing I've ever done in my life oh do you know what it looks like?
Looks like someone dropped the plate of nachos. on the floor and I tried to put them back on the plate, it comes in with a crunchy crunch covered by a layer of melted cheese of various types and then flows into the nacho cheese sauce that fills your mouth with deliciousness, right behind the cheese for nachos there is a fresh wind of pico de gallo cream, cilantro, lime and cashew and suddenly all is right with the world and then when you are about to finish that bite you look down and there is garbage all around you because you're on a trash can counter this might be my favorite type of cuisine now maybe we have to do trash can time next week trashcan pad thai I'm going to put it on you guys you want me to get in a trash can and I'll put it on on a plate next week see you next time
