Well, we have officially arrived in our

country

, Israel, however my bag did not and I think there is about a 75 chance that it was stolen. Going to the airport today could be interesting. I hope not, but there's a good chance so. Are we planning our entire life at the last minute right now and it has worked for us, but occasionally it turns into a disaster? We are in the middle of a great disaster. It was a

few days here in New York. We didn't have time to plan anything. We were thinking we were going to take a reserve flight to Israel last night.

That didn't happen. We spent a few hours with everything we had sitting at Chipotle trying to figure out what to do. Who's going? to chipotle for wi-fi and long story short, today we are at the airport again trying to fly standby, but this time not headed to

because there is no availability for that today either, we are just trying to go in that general direction today. We are

flying

to Naples, Italy. The idea is that that will get us halfway there and then we'll figure it out from there. We have never been to Naples. We don't plan to go to Naples.

We just needed to get out of the United States. He states that that was the first priority, the second priority is to reach Israel for tax purposes. We can always spend so many days within the US or we will pay a lot of taxes, so today is the last day we can reach the US or we will lose. a lot of money so once we get to Italy we don't have any plans because we will be

It is currently 8 a.m. m. We can't check into our Airbnb until three, so we thought we'd hang out at the airport and hope something good happened, it did everything it was supposed to do, it went and packed a bunch of stuff, okay, someone brings it back, it just sucks, but I'm wearing my favorite shirt, after many hours at the airport, we can finally check in. our airbnb so we're trying to take the train into the city unfortunately I'm still out of bag. It feels so weird that I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something I called right before we left and it's not like promising that no one knows where my bag is.

We're not going to let this work on the trip now we think this is the right train, not the one Google Maps had to take, but some random guy on the platform told us to get on this one, it will take us where we need. Wow, I seemed pretty sure how my day is going. I'm sure we'll go straight there. Very sorry. I'm very well. I think I just need to sleep. We went traveling four years ago and Nate has actually been traveling with the same wardrobe since he just replaced things that absolutely had to be replaced because they had a hole in them or were too gross to keep wearing. Basically, he doesn't value things. Nate is very good at looking at the big picture and I feel very excited in the moment and I'm excited about what's happening right now. It's very hard for me to step back and look at the big picture and him. He's as good at it as he is, it's immediately like it's his default, not only is he not upset, but when we got to our Airbnb I begged him to go use the insurance we have with our credit card that we used to book. this flight to go get a whole new wardrobe and get it reimbursed and he wasn't going like I wanted to let it sink in for a minute that he only had the clothes on his back and his electronic bags, luckily I finally got it.

To come see me last night I told him I wasn't going to shower or change my clothes until he got new clothes, so maybe it was him instead of replacing his entire wardrobe like he could have done, like I would have done for sure. He looked at this as a challenge to live more minimally which I thought we were already doing he came back from hm last night with a pair of pants a t-shirt a jacket a bathing suit because we are at the beach and a package of underwear that had three pairs and that's it and he really thinks that's enough to get him through the rest of the year, that's all he needs, which seems crazy to me, but I like how cool he took this situation and like I said, no one would have blamed him for being angry. but he hasn't been for a second and he's completely twisted this situation into a fun challenge, so whether Nate's bag comes back to us or not, it's been a really cool experience to watch it play out, I really don't know because.
