so we decided to spend the next two days living inside the jewel. We spent the last week traveling through the incredible

country

of Bhutan. We came here looking for authentic experiences and that's exactly what we got. We spent the night sleeping on the floor with the local family in a rural village, hiked to the top of a mountain to stay with monks in a remote monastery, and slept in an unheated tent for a chance to watch the sunset from a sacred mountain. It has been an absolutely incredible week in Bhutan. and we wouldn't have changed a thing, but up to this point we have chosen adventure over comfort.

So far, our last day in Bhutan, we checked into the most luxurious hotel in the entire

, the Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary, this ended up being one. of the most amazing places we have ever stayed, they take all inclusive to a whole new level, not only are all food, drinks and activities included, but also the wellness services, meaning that when you stay here you can Get as many massages as you can. like you wanted, we made the most of it and this is not like any other center we have experienced. Before receiving your first treatment, you meet with a traditional medicine doctor who measures your pulse and then, based on what he learned. on your body, she prescribes treatments.

The other highlight of this hotel was the food. OMG the food, thank you. Lunch is an incredibly delicious five-course meal and dinner was a seven-course feast worthy of a Michelin star, if you don't mind splurging a little and want to. To pamper yourself during your trip to Bhutan, definitely visit the spiritual sanctuary of Bhutan. Unfortunately our stay was abrupt and too fast, you would think that after 98 countries we would learn our lesson and gratefully stop booking these early morning flights, so there are only two airlines that fly on and off schedule and the only flight of the day bound for Singapore leaves at 8:05 Singapore is not our final destination, but there is really no good way to get between Bhutan and our 99 countries, so it is just one.

Of many things, we can now say that we have survived takeoff and landing from one of the most dangerous

s in the world, whatever it is, we are just waiting for it, ladies, a thicker trash folder: I lost a couple of days that the kids should see. both - thank you seven hours later we arrived in Singapore, it is currently 5:00 p.m. local time and our next flight doesn't take off until midnight Wednesday night, so we essentially have two and a half days here in Singapore. By the end of this year and after consecutive busy weeks in both Bhutan and Bangladesh, we are quite behind on work, so the plan for this long layover is right behind our computers and we catch up when I was trying to figure out where to stay for our two nights here in Singapore, I realized that the most efficient use of time would be to simply stay here at the

airport

. Additionally, Singapore Airport has recently added a one point three billion dollar addition called the Jewel, it's practically a miniature City inside a giant green house. We were able to explore it for a few hours the last time we were here and it was pretty impressive, so we decided to spend the next two days living inside the gem.
You have to prove it. I like it. move it, move it, please let me go, come on, it's just a robot walking around the place. This place is like a combination of a normal hotel room and a capsule hotel. It is very small but has everything you need. We actually stayed. These ones in London and this one are very similar. I remember they were very comfortable and this one too. I love white hotel sheets. This one actually has a button right now. I'm in movie-watching mode on the TV. Obviously, you can too. lay it flat like a bed and this is sleep mode and here we have a portable chair hanging on the wall you can put it here to sit at the desk but our stuff is getting blocked right now we have some outlet shelves that hang They are moving towards the bathroom. sink, toilet, shower, pretty simple, everything is very modern and forward looking it smells good, it's clean, there is free Wi-Fi, there is free coffee on the ground floor, so as there is not much space in the room we will pass most of our time here in the lobby. working on our computers with some of the largest indoor waterfalls in the world.
I know it sounds really nerdy, but we're really excited about this portability, that's what we call them because we really enjoy the days where we just work on our computers and drink coffee and we're somewhere cool, it's so much better, okay, let's go to call it a night, get some work done and catch up on some sleep, we planned to work downstairs and then we just couldn't get out of bed. I'm living my best life right now I think the kids call this double fisting It's embarrassing 3:28 in the afternoon and we just got out of bed We've been working on our DJ It's been a productive morning I just started bedtime to venture out to try bud food for the last two weeks in Bangladesh and Bhutan, we've pretty much eaten rice for every meal and don't get cravings like this often, but what a good evil American apparently everyone does too. more at the airport, so we'd never been here before, just had to see what all the fuss was about.
I just googled, did you know that sex started as a hot dog cart inside Madison Square Garden Park in 2001, a hot dog cart for most? Popular restaurant inside Singapore airport, by far, there are more people here than anywhere else. This better be the best burger I've ever put in my mouth. A moody positive shotgun to Nate last night, his health completely took a nosedive out of nowhere, he has a fever. super tired and he just spent the morning sleeping, we're trying to self-monitor, we can go to the living room about 12 hours early and see how he's doing, plus Nate is sick today, he's actually doing really well, we left three hours late from hotel and they didn't charge us and we were able to check in for our flight twelve hours early, so we'll sleep late naked and we can spend the damn lounge and this is our home for the next few hours.
I'm a stripper guy, that's right. terrible idea, I haven't eaten in 24 hours, I think I'm feeling better, three sushi had a good eye, maybe they'll regret the point later and after 52 hours at this airport we're now boarding our flight to Melbourne, okay? ? It's after midnight this is an eight hour flight to Melbourne and we'll meet you there after a relatively sleepless night we've arrived in Melbourne we collected your bags we checked our bags with your security now I have a two hour layover even though I'm very tired right now and no longer nauseous so thanks for looking up.
Why have I never vomited? I felt like I was going to throw up for 24 hours, but I did, but it just went away. Normally I knew that when you get sick there is like a climax, the worse it can get and then it gets better from there and I never felt like I had reached that moment, okay, short flight to Sydney, okay, about an hour later, we have landed In Sydney, we've collected our bags because that was as far as Qantas could take us on our way to our

99th

country and now we have about three hours until we can check in for our next flight, so we're stuck outside security o In the classrooms we haven't seen the outdoors, so I think about it, we're outside for like a second to catch the bus.
It was the first time I had fresh air in four days. Wow, it's been a great afternoon, the camera fell. from a suitcase, the microphone broke, we had to glue it back on, apparently you need a return flight to enter Vanuatu, which is where we are going by the way, and last but not least, the global system that verifies passports and visas for everyone. Before you can board a flight, it's down, so no one at this airport is moving or going anywhere, but luckily you're still

to Vanuatu somehow. I made it, we even have a little time in the classroom.
What a day of travel it has been, what a week of travel. "It's started again, no need to use country number 99, this is crazy, it's starting to feel a little surreal even though we've been traveling for four days, this is definitely the craziest feeling next time Let's set foot in a new country." We will be 100, which is what we have been looking for for four years. We sat on that flight remembering how we set our goal of one hundred countries six months into 2016 and how at the time it felt as fun as the biggest thing you could imagine.
I thought about and now we are so close that we have officially entered our

99th

country now we have cleared customs, we have gone through immigration and we are staying in a hotel that is near the airport tonight, they said it is within walking distance and they have sent a hand-drawn map to get there, so according to this, cross the grass that apparently has white wavy lines, pass the Vanuatu helicopters, pass the Azur waters, pass Adventure in Paradise and then you will reach Port Villa. Eco-friendly airport hotel building towards Vanuatu helicopters. This is so romantic. We are just receiving new passengers.
How do you think our suitcases fit? It's 12:16. Our flight leaves and it's almost exactly 12 hours, but we just found out that that weekend we can check our carry-on luggage, but yes, we can check our protected luggage, we're going to check an eight-hour spell born, I don't know, I like that.
