Feb 23, 2020
What's wrong with everyone? I'm Jessica Zam. Welcome back to another Escape from Tarkov video. In

this

video we will talk about

ammo

armor and some things you should know that might be

more

important

than

ammo

and

escape

from Tarkov. I stream

this

game. a few days a week on Twitch, all my links will be below. We'd love for you to come say hello, ask questions, or just hang out, but with all that out of the way, let's move on and dig in. So I wanted to start a discussion about ammo and escaping Tarkov and where we are with the game right now and talk about some things that might be

more

important

to focus on than simply buying the best ammo out there. and those things are map knowledge, positioning, and good aim, but before we talk about those things I want to talk about where we are with Escape from Tarkov.

Something really interesting is happening right now and that is that the bounce in games has launched a flea market and the player did economy, they have changed some things in the game now as a warning. I'm NOT here to say that with the way they've been doing the flea market and the economy and those things are good or bad things I could do. It's better or worse whether you have solutions or not, yes I'm really talking about where we are now and some practices that I think are more important to focus on than just ammunition and just the economy as it is, but As they added those things, they added some limits to the amount of ammo you can buy, so things at the merchant have a global limit, meaning that a merchant only has in stock X amount of a certain item and what they have added.

More Interesting Facts About,

is this more important than ammo escape from tarkov beginners guide...

There are player limits so each player can only purchase a certain amount of some of these higher level items and ammo is one of them, so what happens is that right after a reset, as many people as possible They buy their share of that ammunition immediately. and just seconds after a dealer resets certain ammunition like m99 five are immediately sold out and then resold at the flea market for double or triple their value. I mean, I remember when Labs was first introduced and 545 in goal, Nick had just been put into the game. I remember seeing that at the flea market for 700 rubles and thinking it was by far the most expensive round in the game and now you have, ahem, nine nine five, you know, ten seconds after a reset, going up for 1500 rules . it's a little crazy and when you mix that with the fact that for years and

the top level tip the best ammo use the best ammo for new players for players who want to improve is the The tips have always been use the best ammo and I really think it's important that what I'm trying to say here is not that that advice is bad.

In fact, I think it's great advice. I think whenever possible you should always use the best ammo. available to you but you need to consider the finances to escape from Tarkov, if you can't afford to run 90 rounds or 120 rounds of m95 each raid then you need to start thinking about what else you can do and I think that's where the kind of problem What's in Tar Cove right now is because of all the years I've been told it and I've told it to every person who stops by my stream or I talk about the escape from Tarkov.

I say the same, use the best. Ammo uses the best ammo, but now that the player-driven economy is in full swing and bounce games are disrupting some things, those things may not be viable to buy, you may not be able to afford them, or you may even be able to consider it. It's even worth running that and all my magazines long term because what if I'm killing hatchlings or scavengers or level 20s with level 3 armor? That's a lot of money and because of all the years we've been giving that advice, I feel like there's a lot of players that think if I'm not using the best ammo it's not even worth it, why even use ammo?
I'll just hatch and run or something, so I wanted to talk a little bit. About that, we're in a strange situation, as the warning has also made armor a bit more expensive and harder to come by, so many class five armor, like spawn floors, can no longer be purchased , those that can be purchased. They are very expensive and often not repaired very well, so they are a little harder to come by. You have slightly fewer players wearing that armor, which makes 2nd or 3rd tier ammo even more viable, but let's establish that. aside and say they are all running gen4.
I did some numbers on the Battle Buddy app. Kevin used the Battle Buddy app. It was created by Veritas and a few other content creators. It's an amazing resource if you like Escape from Tarkov and have been playing for a long time. It is an amazing app for a ton of resources that is available on iOS and Android. One of the things you can do is calculate how good an ammo is versus a specific armor, so you use the generally recognized meta armor in the game Jen for assault m855a1. which is a round of five five six.
I did five six to one, which is a round of five five six and BT, which is like the third best round of five four five. All of these are significantly cheaper than their meta counterparts, are much more widely available, and will all take that gen4 down to between one and four durability in eight shots or less, meaning that if you're on full auto and unload the magazine, you can missing more than two out of three shots and still taking Jennifer down completely. to basically nothing and you're doing a lot of damage to them at that point if they're not dead yet the most common face shield in the game the most common meta face shield is the class three face shield that connects to the quick MT or air frame , all three rounds have over a 96% chance of penetrating that face shield on the first shot and if it misses, they're dead because all of these rounds do over 35 damage, so I'm saying that.
Just saying and putting into perspective how viable some of these 2nd and 3rd tier ammo czars of some of these main calibers are in the game against this meta armor and that brings me back to what we were talking about earlier with knowledge positioning. map. and good aim, so if you've been on my channel or my stream, you know that I'm always focused on what I can do to get better at Escape from Tarkov and if that's what you want to do is get better at this game, then. Focusing on the fact that the m95 is 1,500 or round right now isn't going to change any of that, we can't change that now.
I'm sure seit will balance that out and if you kill a guy and he has maxvill m95 you can absolutely run him and he will be the best ammo in the game but what I can do is focus on strategies and things in the game that I can learn that can make me a better player, so if I know I just need to land. Seven shots to the center of mass or one or two shots to the face, then I can say, "Okay, how can I position myself to know that I'm getting the first shots against an enemy?
How can I position myself to have more information that?" what they do about where they are and where the map is, how the map flows and how I can flank them and how I can practice using offline mode, my aim and accuracy so I can consistently hit those headshots, so I know that sounds like like a cop-out, right, it's like we play more and you'll get better, but again, I'm always focusing on what I can do better, what I can learn, how I can outperform people and if you want more testing. I can't recommend deadly slobs streaming and YouTube channel enough.
I've been watching it these past few weeks. He's been doing a lot of low-budget stuff. I saw it appear in a raid with an alias without attachments and PP. ammo that's some of the worst ammo in the game and he dropped a completely juicy guy and took his meta em for Gen 4 and his helmet, he's done shotgun runs, he's done all kinds of things, nine millimeter runs that a lot of people like to give nine millimeter nonsense and say that it's not viable in the game and he has used his skills in the game, his knowledge of the game to be able to outflank and target his opponents and get incredibly premium loot level as a reward for that if you don't follow a deadly pace.
I highly recommend doing it, but you can see in action you know the viability of a gun is really hard to quantify because it's not just about you know us just standing face to face shooting at each other and no one moves there's a lot more to it than that. this doesn't call a duty where you know every engagement starts and ends in two seconds many times you start an engagement with someone and that engagement takes time and you both back off maybe you're both trying to heal, maybe you're both trying to flank, maybe There may be two or three of them and only one of you, but concentrating on learning the maps very well, learning how to flank and how to maneuver during an engagement and practicing your aim. those are things that you can really learn to practice, get better at, and then use some of these second or third level ammunition that, honestly, are pretty phenomenal anyway and you'll start destroying your enemies, so once again, in Conclusion, this is not to replace the advice of using the best ammunition possible.
Hopefully, this is some encouragement and some things that you can take advantage of that go along with that, saying, "Okay, I don't feel like spending a hundred thousand rubles on 60 rounds." or 90 rounds of m95, you know, I'm trying to make money, not spend money. I can use them and I can still be efficient in the game. I can still be effective and to be honest with you, that's just my opinion. I think that's what the battle is about. State Games is trying to make do with the changes they are making. I think they're trying to push people to use different armor, different ammo, and balance the game a bit once again.
I'm not here to say whether you're doing a good job or a bad job, what they're doing is right or wrong, but I think that's what they're trying to do and I think it's important to know, especially if you're relatively new to the game and you're frustrated because you feel like you can never get ahead and make money, learn, always hold on to principles and things that you can really improve on things that you can continue your growth on to hold on to that focus. That will always end up making you a better player and making you eliminate more enemies, so thank you all so much for taking the time to watch this video.
I hope this helps. I hope this has given you something to think about. It gave you something to think about and maybe it gave you a little more confidence to save some of your money. Pick up some of the lower tier ammo on the second and still go out and start taking out scab bosses, raiders, and players if you have any questions about that. this video or if there are any
