Hello friends and welcome to another video. Today I'm going to order and try on personalized

from an app. A few weeks ago I saw this video on Twitter proclaiming the benefits of the ZoZo suit which, from the looks of it, is essentially like a motion capture jumpsuit. designed to help that exact measurement of your body and the way it's supposed to work is that you put on the suit, you take photos in said suit, you upload them to their app, they analyze the photos and then you can order

custom

clothing from them. based on your reading.

That's right, future *FuuTUUUreeee* Now, this suit was designed by a Japanese e-commerce site as a way to help with online shopping, which actually seems like a pretty useful idea. However, having tried some of these types of futuristic products in the past, they often sound much cooler than they actually are or don't end up working very well. So let's put this on, take some photos, upload them to the app, order

, and see how they really fit. Alright, let's do it. So here is my Zozo suit in its Zozo bag. As you can see on the front, it shows you kind of the gist of the thing.

More Interesting Facts About,

You wear the suit and the app measures you and then you become Dan Stevens in Beauty and the Beast. On the front it also says: "Thank you for joining the Zozo revolution for a world without sizes." I mean it sounds exciting. Absolutely. You know, we're going to eliminate the guillotine and we're going to take out the suits. Okay, so let's open this up and see what's inside. OooHhh Alright, inside it looks like I have my Zozo suit and an instruction card in English and German. Apparently not. So let's open this guy up too, huh. Leave me in the Zozo.

So the first impression is that it feels like very thin armor, but apparently with braille characters or unknown Pokémon. That one looks a bit like Dipper if you ignore those two. And this is Mars. (laughs) Alright, it looks like Zozo's outfit consists of a long-sleeved turtleneck and matching leggings. They are two pieces but they come together as one to measure your body, hug your curves and send that information to Japan. Wait until I put it on and you have the measurements of my butt. I'm squeezing my booty, I don't know if it shows. (laughs) Alright, let's move on.

I'm a legit reviewer of the Zozo suit. Alright, in the instructions the first step is to put on the suit and then just set up our phone on this stand that they gave us. Once this is done, let's put on the suit. Alright Tyler, are you ready for my polka dot jelly? TYLER: Woooo, I feel like I'm acting in the musical "Cats" TYLER: (laughs) Yes, beautiful TYLER: (laughs again) And then here's Dan Stevens, ready? Oh Emma Watson, you are so beautiful. Here's the thing: I would wear this shirt like a real shirt because I love fingerless gloves.
Big fan. I also think it's fun to see where the stitches stretch because it's actually the thigh. We're all fine here, here, here, but then WHAM BAM, THANK YOU MA'AM. The fabric on my thigh is see-through and the stitches have stretched a considerable distance. I feel very futuristic, a kind of Gattaca, a kind of theater. Kickball change, kickball change... Hello my baby, hello honey, hello my ragtime girl Send me a kiss for wiiiire, honey, my heart is on fire. Bye bye! Alright, I think I had fun. Let's turn on the application. Okay, now we have the suit on and we've already set up our phone holder, so the next thing we need to do is start measuring with my Zozo app.
Alright, let's click on the Measure icon and first I have to enter my height and weight. And after that, we move on to the measurement tutorial. So, he says to make sure you're in a well-lit room and then place your phone eight inches from the edge of a table and make sure the table is thirty inches high. Lucky for us, this table is about twenty-nine and a half inches tall, perfect for measuring the Zozo suit. You also want to make sure you're about six feet away from the table, and by measuring with my own body we figured it's about six feet away from the wall.
Then they will start photographing me in my current position. Okay, so I have to make sure I'm wearing the Zozo suit correctly. This is true, otherwise they would just carve a big lump on my back. That means the audio is about to get worse. the thumb goes through the hole, yes, the heel also goes through the hole. Is my neck flat? I think so. Alright, Zozo would like access to my camera... I should probably turn on my speaker, so let's do this. He's Siri's evil cousin, again. Zozo? Zozo, do you copy me? Alright, I think she's loud enough, right?
She's okay, she's okay, I feel like I'm being tested. What's happening? App: We will proceed with voice instructions. Turn your phone so the back is facing you. Place it on the stand on a flat surface. Saf: Okay, I'll do what you tell me. Application: Wait for the next audio message. Application: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms down along your body. Leave enough space for some separation. Saf: Okay, sorry! Application: We will begin the measurement process by placing ourselves at the 12 o'clock position followed by moving clockwise until we have rotated 360 degrees. Saf: Yes Saf: Okay.
Application: We will take a photo of you now. Saf: Okay Application: Nine o'clock position Application: 11 o'clock position Application: You're done. Saf: Should I pick up my phone? Siri, are you okay? Siri, are you mad at me? I did a good job? Please let me know. Okay, now that I have my measurements and Siri's evil cousin has fully dressed me, let's order some custom clothing. I mean this is the future: being bossed around by polite but passive-aggressive robots. Robotic voice: Come in loser, let's go shopping. Well, it suggests to me about a handful of clothing items. I have a Merino Crew, a Scoop Neck Long Sleeve, a V-Neck T-Shirt, Skinny Jeans, a Boat Neck T-Shirt, a Skinny V-Neck T-Shirt, and a Stripe Crew Long Sleeve and also a Striped T-Shirt So which no, like dresses or rompers or really any fit challenge other than maybe jeans, so let's order like a smattering of these items.
We should definitely buy skinny jeans because it's our only bottom option. Ooh, and once I add it to the bag, it allows me to adjust my measurements if I want, but I'll just use the recommended fit. Just follow what the lawsuit said. Application: In more ways than one So on top of that, I'll choose the fitted V-neck t-shirt just because it says it's supposed to be tighter so measurements are more important, the boat neck t-shirt because I I would like one of those, and the Mareno Crew because it seems to be made of a different fabric than the other two.
Mareno, I think that's what he's made of. Well, I already ordered my items and it says it will take about a month to arrive. So once they arrive, we'll see how well Zozo did measuring my bahdy. In the meantime, I'll use this. Well, it's been about two months and we finally received our Zozo package. Now, I ordered this on November 9, 2018 and it said it would take 4-5 weeks to arrive, and it arrived last week so it took about twice as long as it said. But it has arrived. So let's open this up and see what's inside and try it on.
Ooh, gifts! I paid for it myself! Okay, so we have my jeans, my t-shirt, my sweater, and my boat neck shirt. On all the packages they have this little label down here that says SZ, which I assume means size, and then like a QR code, so I'm wondering if they categorized my measurements into this QR code and then generated all of them. the clothes of that. Kind of like Snapchat, but for my butt. Alright, I think we should try them on now. So I'm going to wear the jeans with all my t-shirts because I only have one pair of jeans and this isn't that kind of video.
A porn video. Alright, let's do it. Okay, this is my black boat neck blouse and my blue jeans. From the beginning, I have noticed some issues with the fit. I feel wrinkled. Specifically with pants, I notice a good amount of extra fabric around the crotch. He has to give in. Something has to give and it's the crotch. The jeans are pretty stretchy overall, but I think there is a little extra room, like in the back waistband. Speaking of the rear, there is a lot of extra fabric just below the buttocks. Oh yeah, I'm feeling something right here.
As I move around it gives me a diaper feeling which is not what you want with skinny jeans. To make matters worse, I think the pant legs, as well as the sleeves of the top, are a little short. I think it's possible to deny that maybe I've been exercising more in January than I did in November and December, which are usually my most delightful months, but I don't think I've grown any taller since then, so I think they might have mismeasured my limbs. Other than that, I think the shirt is okay, however, overall I would say that this combination doesn't convince me.
But let's try the other two shirts and see how they turn out. Alright, this is my gray sweater. So after trying on this second top, I feel like I have no problems with how they fit and I will say that the sleeves on this one are long enough to the point that they reach the bottom of my hands, so I'm not too sure about What was happening to the sleeves of the other shirt. Now what I will say about the sweater is that it seems like a missed opportunity to get my custom measurements and then give me something like a boxy sweater.
I feel like it would be cool if it was a sexy bodycon sweater or something more along those lines. Yeah, because it's like, "Okay, yeah, it fits, but it's not a revelation that it fits." But let's try our last article. Okay, and this is my last top: the plain white t-shirt. Birks spontaneously appeared on my feet? That one is gone forever (laughs). It was a costly decision. Now what I will say about this shirt is that the fabric seems nice and it's comfortable on my body and it's soft, but I don't really see any custom fit.
In fact, I'd say it probably fits the same or worse than my current t-shirts. I think it fits my body a little more than the black t-shirt and gray sweater, but it still doesn't help me much. I don't feel cupped, hugged... I don't even feel skimmed. I mean, I feel like when you hear "custom clothing" you think the design is custom or the fit is custom so it fits like a glove and with this outfit/all these clothes, neither is the case. . So now that we've tried on all the clothes and seen how they fit and look, I was thinking we should try on the Zozo suit one more time, not just because I like to wear it and then see if I'm measuring. differently now than in November to see if maybe that's the problem.
Okay, so I'm back in the suit. Again with Zozo's suit. (Laughing) Oops? Now, one thing I will say when I have it on, like right where my hand starts. That's why my jeans may be a little short. Alright, then I'll go back and let her measure me one more time and see where we are. So I'm going to look for a new measurement. I think I'm identifying that for sure, that it looks like a Zozo suit, no-no, but it also seems like they want both. Application: You're done. The measurement process is complete. See the results on your phone.
Saf: Awesome, okay, great. So that was it, measuring part 2. How can I see now if there is any difference from the last time I was measured? Now, just to triple check everything, I probably should have done this when we first measured myself. I'll be honest and say that I don't think all measurements are correct. I would say my hip measurements seem to match what they say, but my chest and upper waist seem to be a little smaller with the tape measure than on the app. I mean, I think the technology is pretty cool, like there aren't many safeguards if you don't do it /exactly/ right.
Well, that was a lot of Zozo's suit and, proportionally, not a lot of custom clothing. Now, while I really enjoyed moving around in a polka dot spandex bodysuit for a while, I'm not sure the final custom outfit was really worth the time and effort. I'm not sure, based on our few different measurements, how accurate this thing really is; In fact, I think it's a little inaccurate and in terms of the clothing we received, I feel like the items themselves were pretty standard and the fit was pretty average. On top of that, I was also a little disappointed with the clothes they offered.
I feel like none of them, except for the jeans, would really require a custom fit. If they're going to collect all this information about our bodies, shouldn't they try to make clothes that reflect that? Do you like a party dress or do you like the perfect fitted blazer? Like anything that would normally be custom made, I think that's what I would want, not a white t-shirt. Now, I feel like it's fair to say that they are just getting started with this technology, so I hope that in the future it will be more accurate and the clothing offering will be more robust, but for now, I don't think they will.
I have really achieved it. The good thing is that now I have a Zozo suit that I can wear wherever I want. We may not be living in the future yet,but it's possible that I'm living in a production of the musical Cats. Thank you all so much for looking, too, I just wanted to let you know that we have some new products.
