I FINALLY DID IT! Emirates A380 First Class

Apr 09, 2024
When I

finally

did, I fulfilled a dream that had existed since about 2007. I was able to test not only the MSA 380 but also in the

first

class cabin. When I was a kid, I probably wouldn't believe I had the chance. do that, but after saving some Capital One credit card points for almost three full years, I was able to transfer them to my Emirates account and bought this 16-hour flight to San Francisco for 155,000 Skywards points and yes, yes, I know the suite. It's probably already been covered in a million YouTube videos, but like the people who watch this video, I've been part of the group that watches almost all of them anyway, so I thought I'd add my two cents to the topic.

It would be a bad thing in the end. Please note that since I really had to take it all in on this flight, the video is a little longer than normal, so feel free to use the timestamps and chapters below to go through it all and find exactly what Looking For. Emirates calls Terminal 3. home at Dubai International Airport along with United and Qantas and just before you reach the main check-in area there is a specific area for business and

first

class check-in for airlines based in terminal 3. One thing I will say is that the private premium check-in wing is not the most private if you think about the number of first and business class seats on each Emirates A380 and triple seven aircraft and multiply that by the sheer number of flights they have here, it makes sense why they have so much space, but it is larger than many entire terminals I have seen at other airports in my life, everywhere in the airport there is a check-in area specifically for flights bound for USA and Tel Aviv due to requiring an additional level of security and screening to those destinations after checking in and getting my boarding pass, however, I can walk to the back of the terminal where there is dedicated security for passengers.

More Interesting Facts About,

Passengers checking in to the business wing and first class after security screening. and immigration, what I didn't realize initially is that there are different paths to different doors by default. I walked to the B gates, but there are also trains to this A gate and to the sea gates. Gates B are the ones connected directly to security and House A. large number of flights, I couldn't determine if there was a pattern of which Gates served which destinations, but I saw mostly Middle Eastern and European destinations on Gates B along with Fly Dubai flights, but if you know the pattern and How Dubai organizes its flights, let me know in the comments that this large terminal has a lot of shops and a great feel due to the vaulted ceilings and wide halls lined up on the levels Above the main hallway is where we go.

To find the Emirates first in the business class lounges as well as in a foreign transit hotel, we will go up the escalator to visit the lounges and today we will only visit the first class lounges, but if you are interested in seeing them. the business class lounge for Emirates. Watch the video of my second flight in Dubai covering the 737 Max 8 and you'll see what it looks like now. It's also important to note that Emirates has three sets of lounges here in Dubai, one each at gates a b and c. According to the front desk employee, B doors are the main and busiest rooms, but A doors have the largest and most extravagant ones.

You see here, although even in the first class lounge, gate B space is never really an issue hanging over the The main part of the terminal has an infinite amount of space with whatever you want to do to kill time. You'll also notice that it has almost the same amenities as the larger Agate Lounge, which we'll head to next, so stay tuned. Abroad, you will also notice many spaces that offer a place to smoke, sleep, rest or charge your devices, as long as it is not right here, on this bridge over the main terminal walkway inside the hall, they have different kiosks to different foods. like the Japanese, for example, who have mainly sushi and different seafood options, they have international food that includes items from different parts of the world, they have a cafeteria where you can sit and have a coffee or some pastries to accompany it. restaurant which is good for those people who maybe want a more classic dining experience, an area known as the Health Hub which includes different healthier options and even a wine tasting room which was close to this era but includes a tasting room where you can also buy bottles.
Of wine what you see here is a lot of food options laid out for people in the restaurant. What you will notice is that there is a menu so people can order, but there are also some buffet style items to go if that is more what you are looking for in the restaurant and that all ends with the dessert and cheese sections, so another area where you'll find a good amount of cheese but also some sweet and savory items if you're just looking for a nice dessert to finish your meal here abroad, something unique about the first class lounges here in Dubai is the ability to board directly from the VIP room.
Other than that, I think there are a lot of similarities between business class and first class. lounges at gate B specifically, with the main difference being that the first class lounge is much less crowded, but this was not the case for the gate A lounge, however, without further ado, let's find the gate From where, among others, flights to the United States depart. From Gates B, you'll see a series of signs guiding you to the Agate Gates, which involve what appears to be a million different escalators or elevators and a train, while the main terminal walkway in Terminal A can not seem as big as the Terminal B part.
That reason is because instead of the lounges extending on both sides of the floor and giving it a large vaulted ceiling, the lounges take up the entire floor, so if you are in The main walkway feels a little cramped or claustrophobic, but once you are up the lounges make them feel much larger and you will see that shortly up we reach the grandest of the first class lounges, starting with the grand entrance with members desks. of the staff who welcome you to this great space. If you are foreigners, you will see that there are signs for the doors in each direction.
The lounge has two sides with generally the same content on each side, so with the door labels you can determine where you should hang out to be closest to the gate. There is a map. Also, to help you navigate this Lounge as it is larger than some entire airport terminals. Looking at it, you'll notice what I mentioned earlier about both sides of the Lounge having almost the same content. The first thing I noticed when walking through this VIP Lounge around 3am. The first area I found was the business center, one of two in this specific room.
Specifically here there are a number of computers to get work done, as well as a number of areas to hold individual or larger group meetings if that's what you need, plus this room, like most of the rest, also comes with an espresso machine so you can have a coffee while you work, just like the other Lounge, there are paths that cross the main hallway in some parts, but unlike the other Lounge, the signs for the doors are located just inside of the living room instead of outside. It's easy to make sure you're at the right gate when boarding and at the other end of the lounge is a wonderfully decorated seating area and buffet.
It is not the formal dining room that we will see, but it does allow for a good place to relax and have a bite to eat with many tables and outlets. The buffet has a great selection of items to grab quickly. This included first a cooler area with cheese, fruit and nuts, followed by wonderful focaccia bread including olive oil and vinegar, a selection of cold mains, then came the hot water machine for tea, coffee and hot chocolates, followed of course by the wonderful Arabic coffee and dates. Lastly, there was a selection of desserts including a number of cakes and baked goods.
Thank you. I decided to camp out for a while and get something to eat while it was still pretty empty so it was pretty easy to find tables. I was able to charge my devices before heading to the buffet to grab some food. I ended up ordering a good variety of items from the buffet starting with a Caprese dish to which I added some cacha station balsamic along with some mushrooms, some Pokey Salmon with Berry capers on top some focaccia bread, cheese and grapes, All of that along with some Arabic coffee and some coffee sweets to go with the directional signs placed around the room also helped me find the formal dining area which included several tables to sit at.
I chose not to eat here but it looked good and even when it was busy there were still plenty of open tables to sit at right after I was at the counter to request a shower which I took advantage of before catching my flight a little further away when we found the quiet room for those looking to sleep or relax away from the main part of In the lounge there are different types of sun loungers, they are all quiet but have different levels of lighting and privacy. Rest assured, if you want to sleep you will be able to find the right place for you, foreigner, without a place to smoke, and that is what This room has stained glass and wood paneling on the walls, continuing our Loop, although we find ourselves almost We returned at the entrance to the hall, but first we passed once again by the duty-free shop located inside the hall, just past the main entrance.
Now on the other side, you'll first see another identical duty free shop, then another wine tasting and purchasing room like the one we saw at B Gates, followed by one of the buffet dinner options that includes much of what's on offer. another large buffet area we found only this one is much smaller, there are a couple of smaller buffets separate from the large buffets at each end of the room, unlike the other side this side also has a children's play room so the little ones can expel. your energy before taking a long flight just after that we reach the other end of the lounge where we find another Grand Buffet area just like the other side with the same food options on this side we also see another check-in counter to check in right after there is a suite with a shower, another set of quiet rooms and something that I thought was fun was that near the entrance there is a wall of newspapers and magazines from all over the world so you can choose and find out all kinds of regional news. different places around the world around the loungers signs showing all the flights and gates.
They don't tell you the door until about four hours before departure, but they just gave me mine, so at least I knew which side of the room to spend my time on. Then I wanted to enjoy the free treatment given to first class passengers. I went to the map to find it where it said it was right behind me, however behind me was just the duty free shop, after that I decided. to explore and try to find it where I walked from left to right only seeing signs pointing me back and forth until I

finally

gave up and asked someone when they finally told me it was actually located upstairs right outside the classroom. business class, once inside they checked my boarding pass to make sure I was a first class passenger and then offered me a 10 minute back or foot massage.
I chose the back massage and got one of the most painful deep tissue massages of my life, but at least it was that way. free I could have also purchased more services if I wanted after my spa the sun fully came out and I could see the view of the A380 field ramp right outside the windows. Thank you so I decided to have one more light snack. before going to take a shower while enjoying the views of the ramp and active slopes walking down this super cool hallway, I was finally able to get to the shower suite I had booked.
The shower suites are actually large in size and have all the amenities one would need for showering along with charging ports if you have an electric shaver or need to use the hair dryer. Ah, after my shower though, it was finally time to board and it was a real treat to be able to do so. You board directly from the lounge, the only problem is that since you are so far from the window you can't get great views of your plane. Here you can see ours on the left and on the right is the identical plane going to Los Angeles. that while we were hovering above the economy class passengers Downstairs on that lower level, after scanning my boarding pass at the first-class-only gate, it was finally time to board.
I went down the elevator that connects the VIP lounges to the Jet Bridges, but I went down one floor. I was able to reach the level of theabove Jet Bridge Economy has two jet bridges on the lower level and then, since the premium cabins make up the entire upper deck, lounges for both first and business class only need to connect to the singular Jet Bridge. for the upper deck just now as I walked across the jet bridge and got the view of my plane, when it finally went down, I was boarding the Emirates A380, the plane I had always dreamed of but had only seen in photos finally I was on board and they escorted me to my seat.
My seat today will be 2K, which is a window seat in the first class cabin and would be the seat I would call home for the next 16 hours. Right away, the crew was amazing. By far the best thing I've ever had - the flight attendant came over to introduce himself personally, but also a couple of other flight attendants were very happy to strike up a conversation with me, especially when I told them it was my first time flying on Emirates and especially on Emirates first class, Sonia is unfortunately the only name I remember, but that's also because she was amazing throughout the flight, always helping me with things and having great conversations, and she also took a photo of me which I was able to post On Instagram.
Thank you. I have to say I was bummed because this was originally scheduled to be in the refurbished cabins so I was nervous that this one would feel a little dated and even though it's not the newest product, the moment you get on board it's still being one hundred and ten. percent impressive with minimal signs of aging in every detail at First Impressions. I was surprised by how many free items came with the suite, from snacks to drinks, amenities and more, although I guess it's not technically free because it's definitely built into that ten grand. price in dollars and now to take a look at this beautiful seat, starting behind the seat and working clockwise around the suite, the fabric on the walls of the suite is a comfortable felt on your left shoulders , you will find a reading light, but perhaps the most impressive thing is a single air vent and in the left armrest there is a small cubby, although I couldn't understand what anyone would use it for, apart from that there are also some basic presets of seats and doors On the other side of the door is your literature pocket, where you'll see there's a place for your safety card, in-flight magazine, motion sickness bag, and especially the complementary headphones, which were wonderful so you can use them later in the flight.
Plus, that's infinite. room to store all the luggage you brought on board, including a wheeled carry-on, with the luggage there you will still have enough room that you will be able to fit a smaller human being under the counter, but it is important to know that there is no overhead bin. so fortunately all luggage must be stored down here. However, there is a buckle to prevent the luggage from moving once you are in flight. Above the counter is another reading light, but I mainly used it to illuminate the tray below, which is a Some flowers that were actually real, they are always fake, so it was definitely a surprise on the counter was a gift basket with some fun items that keep you from going hungry on your flight, which is nice on these ultra long haul flights, although They gave me so much food that I didn't even touch them, but they made great snacks at work the next week.
There is also the famous drawer with the Emirates notebook and pen. Personally, I'm curious how many people use them while on board. the other set of goodies on the counter, adding to the amenity kit they gave us, is another set of amenities that can be used primarily to get ready for bed and is truly the largest Ife display I have seen anywhere all my life. I mean, look at the screen, it may not be the perfect measurement, but I can fit eight and a half hands wide on the screen, which is literally bigger than my bedroom TV at home.
Also along the counter is your universal charging port if you're using a computer on the tray table, it's actually in a really good spot so you don't have any cables on you. Next to it, that is one of the many storage spaces around the suite. I didn't use it because I wasn't very sure. than would be best for that place you wouldn't accidentally leave behind, as many of us know, the right countertop has the famous mini bar that pops up with the push of a button and is stocked with water and soft drinks, including glasses, since I drink out.
We first-class people couldn't remove the can directly. With the other button we can open our tray which, like the television, is the largest tray I have ever seen on board an airplane. There is also a large cubicle behind. the mini bar that can be opened and has incredible volume, although I didn't use it, I didn't see it until much later in the flight, on the right armrest we have the socket for noise canceling headphones. With the suite we were also given the iPad sized TV remote which we will look at later along with the Ife and although the touch screen TV and we have that large remote, we also have a full size remote on the armrest for those who don't.
I want to juggle a larger iPad, behind it is another storage cubby which I used throughout the flight because it is in a nice and convenient location and lastly behind the counter in the back corner we see the linens waiting for us, whose Surprise was also the best. bedding I've ever had on a plane Now that I was completely done having fun in the seat, Sonia brought me some Arabic coffee and dates, which, as always, was absolutely amazing while she waited for everyone else to board. She also wanted to go explore the famous large laboratories in the first class cabins of the A380, of course Emirates is very special as it is the only one with a shower on board which we will definitely see later.
In addition to the shower, there is a large sink with a giant mirror with excellent soaps and Bulgari. The colognes also come with wipes instead of regular paper towels. I also really like the great panoramic view of Dubai along the bathroom walls, as well as the toilets covered by the same material as the rest of the bench, but underneath is the toilet seat. The cover next to the toilet is a display with amenities intended mainly for shower time. Opposite the toilet is a large mirror wall and also a host of extra amenities to use in the bathroom, mainly to help you freshen up in a four-bed or after bedtime.
Now back in my seat, I tried to get a good view of both engines on the outer wing, but unfortunately, as is also the problem with the 747 Upper Deck, the gap between the window glass and the outer glass is so big that you can really just look straight at it instead of looking further from a foreign angle, about 10 minutes late, we backed out of our gate and taxied onto the runway, which was further enhanced by the A380 aircraft's cameras that can be seen on the TV, iPad or the smallest remote control, we were also chasing the other California-bound A380 to the runway, making it a fair and even race to the west coast of the US.
I also got to see my first A310 in person, which belonged to Iran air travel, thank you foreign foreign foreign strange once in the air it was time to dim the windows on the A380 we do not have typical blinds but electronically controlled blinds that come in two levels, we have the first one that comes in to filter direct sunlight and then comes The actual blackout curtain said that. I wanted to try out what is considered the best in-flight entertainment system in the world, which starts with the best headphones I've ever used on an airplane in terms of sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort level.
Now, the Ice system, which stands for information, communications and entertainment, has long been the best in-flight entertainment option in the world. The large screen is touch-sensitive, but because of how far away it is for me, I opted to use the iPad remote. To control the screen, the iPad is removable but is locked for taxi takeoff and landing, as you can see with the symbol on the top right showing that it is now unlocked, so I can finally remove it and use it on top of that. I also have the smaller remote control that can be used as a complement to the larger remote control and touch screen TV while we fly over the Caspian Sea.
The first of Ife's categories is information here. You will mainly find things about your flight, including flight details on the map and you will also be able to read about Emirates and local articles and activities. Additionally, the last section titled Today's Flight has a lot of statistics about the flight. Plus, this is how you will access the information. flight cameras and the air show, which is basically your moving map. The map feature is basically like what you'll find on most airlines, but the style includes all the different views you can choose from abroad. The next step is the communications section.
This section includes things like instructions on how to connect to the onboard Wi-Fi, instructions on in-seat power, instructions on how to use the USB cable to listen to your own media, and a seat-to-seat chat that I didn't get a chance to use. In this flight the last section of the Ife is the entertainment where they really shine, for example here is a look at the TV shows where you can see that there are five different genre and category pages that open up one of those categories even further. You'll see even more pages of TV shows going on and on for each category, each show with plenty of episodes so you can watch your favorite show for hours.
It makes me wish I had more than 16 hours in this seat to watch the movies. It's more of the same bringing pages and pages of genres followed by pages and pages of different films within each genre. Personally, what I like to watch the most are the Harry Potter movies, considering that if you average about two and a half per movie, which could kill. 20 hour flight, in addition, they also offer a live television option, although I personally prefer to be able to choose from the on-demand program options that were available, if it gets overwhelming the good thing is that you can search for any of the programs within the system of entertainment quite easily, alternatively, you can save things to your favourites, making it easier to find them later.
I checked the system before I left and bookmarked all the things I'd like to see, which made it a lot easier. Once we get up in flight after the icing system, other random features of the device include door and seat controls that make it easy to control everything in one place, as well as a basic remote control with basic functions, as well as now when It's about Wi-Fi. Emirates has a pretty good service, it's possible to connect for the entire flight for twenty dollars or 30 minutes for ten dollars, so if you plan to use Wi-Fi you're probably better off purchasing the entire flight.
We were then given a menu for food and wine to order, the menus had what seemed like endless food and drink options. He started with drinks because he flew to so many dry countries. They offer a great selection of non-alcoholic cocktails very similar to guitar. They have some wonderful ones too. cocktails, smoothies and teas, including their excellent signature rose and ginger tea. The following pages also expanded on the alcoholic beverage offerings and then came the food options, starting with their amazing caviar option, which I was excited to try, followed by the different per-plate offerings, starting with breakfast and then lunch and dinner. dinner separated by appetizer and main course.
The next page started by looking at dessert options, including sweet and savory options. The right side is more for quick dishes throughout the flight if people get hungry between meals. On the other hand, the wine list. It has individual pages dedicated to red wine, white wine, and dessert wines. Finally, after we were done with the departure phase of our flight, it was time to close the very large doors to my suite. I've used a few closed doors up to this point and the Q Suites have high walls, but they are just ridiculous. It was by far the most private seat I have ever had on a plane.
I really felt like I was in my own world. These doors can be closed manually, but it is easier to use. buttons on your armrest or on the remote control now the toiletry kit came in a couple of different pieces in addition to the sleeping toiletries on the counter first we have this Emirates tote bag, inside that tote bag there was a set of very comfortable moisturizing pajamas that were offered in different sizes along with a pair ofslippers, the actual toiletry kit came in a Bulgari bag that looked like it cost a thousand dollars in a store with a nice leather exterior, metal zipper with the Bulgari logo and carrying strap, the interior had a nice fabric lining . with some separate pockets with elastic that can be used to store some of the items that were kept inside the kit, they were actually pretty normal products for an amenity kit, such as a dental kit, a hairbrush, tissues, a razor, shaving cream, and deodorant, but the best items were the ones that came in the Bulgari drawstring bag.
Inside that Bulgari drawstring bag was a cleansing wipe, lip balm lotions, and the Pista resistance was a large Bulgari cologne. While waiting for food service, I decided to make use of my personal mini bar. When I had a Pepsi in one of the glasses, it was when I thought I was seeing someone else from The Suite in front of me. It was when I realized that it was just a mirror and my candy was still private and in reality there was no other person recording every detail at all. through the space after solving that mystery, it was time to eat, starting with an excellent cup of coffee and a plate of nuts, then with the plate and cutlery, we were handed a kind of Caprese salad plate served in a wine glass . was just a preface, the part I was most excited about was the caviar service, which was not only served with a pile of the best caviar I have ever tasted, but also came with several accompaniments that complemented the entire flavor of the caviar. this with one of the bread baskets that they served with each and every meal, then came my appetizer, for which I ordered the meze plate with many different items and pitas to eat all the sides and toppings, it was great, but because it was just starting. to fill me up and I still have my main dish.
I ended up only finishing about half of it. I also ordered a wonderful cucumber and mint drink to accompany my still water. Finally they served me the Entre. I ordered the Bajarat spiced beef tenderloin, which was cooked better than any meat I've ever eaten on a plane and all that, plus roasted chickpeas, plus some roasted vegetables, after dinner they came with a box of Turkish delight, There were about 20 different options and since there were too many, I couldn't select which ones I wanted, so I asked the flight attendant to pick her favorites and I would just try them.
My favorite was the long red one which had a pomegranate type flavor and then we wrapped our food in another hot towel. After the meal service was over, I decided it was a good time to get up and explore a little. The first thing I noticed was that each suite had a coat closet accessible from the outside, as well as being another way to reach the items that were in there. on the floor of The Suite inside I also wanted to see what the middle seats were like supposedly according to our flight attendant our flight was full but a reservation of two people missed their connection leaving these two middle seats open, you can see that if you travel with someone , it can be fun when you close both doors and end up with essentially a room for two people, although the beds don't join together like they do on Singapore Airlines, another thing I always enjoy on double-decker planes is I look at the staircase and how decorated it is. is there and, personally, my favorite is still the Qatar A380 staircase.
What Emirates does well is the mini bar at the top of the staircase, which is kept stocked with all kinds of snacks and drinks for the entire flight. separate from the formal bar in the back of the business class cabin, which we will review before this flight is over, but then it was time to put on the pajamas and they are comfortable, this shirt, pants and slippers were extremely comfortable and made it easy to get into rest. in your seat an even better experience in my seat I noticed that the little lights embedded in the carpet give it a great atmosphere at night.
I also had endless space for my feet considering I couldn't reach the end of the suite and there was so much space under the counter that an entire person could still fit under it. Then it was time to fully configure the bed using the iPad. You can adjust the seat, but there are also presets and if you find a comfortable position adjust it. Each piece individually, you can save that setting and recall it later. The wonderful flight attendants quickly realized I was getting ready for bed and offered a turndown service to make my bed. Once it was over, I had my Owning one of the biggest beds in the sky not only gives you a real pillow and comforter that's not even like anything I've ever seen on a plane, but the mattress protector was almost a material of memory foam which made the bed more comfortable than my bed at home to make it even better as there is plenty of room under the counter, plenty of room for my feet and I never felt cramps sleeping on my back or side.
I observed that too, like on the Asiana A380 first class. The ceiling was covered in these little lights designed to look like a starry night sky above you which combined with the lights on the carpet made it look like you were floating in the night sky which made it very easy to fall asleep as well. that with that good night for just a minute. I will see you soon. The best part about flights of this length is that you actually have enough time to rest overnight and still have time to take advantage of everything they have to offer, although I would still spend days in the seat, if I could, I decided to try one of their snack options after waking up so I grabbed the menu to take a photo and order food.
The flight attendants told me to hit the call button every time I felt funny pressing it because they always told me not to grow up. So this may have been the first time I used that call button and the responsive flight attendants were at my seat. in 23 seconds according to my stopwatch. Thank you. I decided to order a poke bowl as a snack and as it turns out, this flight actually ended up running out of pokeballs, according to one of the flight attendants. Californians love their poke bowls. What can I say? Perhaps the best thing about this meal was that they gave me these amazing Emirates brand gold tipped chopsticks, another little one.
The cabin detail I noticed was that the bathroom sign showed which of the three bathrooms had showers and which was just a regular bathroom. Speaking of the bathrooms, while I was there, I noticed that there was a full screen TV set up on the map page, so while you're using the bathroom you can keep track of exactly where you are. This was also when I realized that while I was sleeping we had flown over the North Pole. Another feature in the bathroom I noticed was right under the TV. a small screen to adjust the temperature of the floor so it could be heated or cooled, especially useful after my shower, when I had a warm floor waiting for me shortly after departure from Dubai, a flight attendant came to ask when everyone wanted to shower.
I scheduled Mio for two hours before arrival, they scheduled the shower to make sure you have all the supplies you need ready and to make sure the eight first class passengers don't rush to the showers right before landing, about 30 Minutes before my scheduled shower time, I was sitting watching TV, so I asked the flight attendant if I could shower early and she told me to give her five minutes to get it ready. Shortly after I walked in and she was able to explain exactly how to use that shower, basically as long as the bathroom door is locked and the shower door is closed it will be on once I set the system up.
Here you can see the indicator showing how much time you have. Now was the time for most. A once in a lifetime air travel experience taking a shower on a plane. I flew Q Suites for essentially the same flight length, but by no means did I leave feeling 100% fresh and ready to start the day, which is just the most amazing thing after sitting down. On a plane for 16 hours I went to the shower facilities, grabbed the items I would need and settled into the shower. You only get five minutes of water, so to really enjoy the shower you can use the on/off button to pause. water while soaping so that you can fully use the water you need for five minutes of which you can monitor the time progress on the scale below the water nozzle extra hours of sleep a healthy snack and a shower I felt like I was alone Home and ready to start my day, we were finally in the United States and it was time for breakfast.
I started breakfast with just a couple of plates of assorted fruits. Well, I waited for my breakfast main course. I enjoyed the view from my window. from the Cascade Mountains of Washington, Oregon and Canada to accompany my breakfast. I decided to try the Emirates Signature Tea, which I think was one of the best teas I've ever had, only behind the pwgts, which are always my favorite for a breakfast main course. I chose the overly sugary option, like a typical American French toast with candied pecans and whipped cream on top. To be honest, it's like a dessert, but if they offer it I can't refuse it, even though it was delicious.
I had one last stop before landing and that was the onboard bar. The first class drinks counter was cleaned with Just Flowers and tea, but my friend, flight attendant Sonia, was happy to escort me to the large lounge at the back of business class here - plenty of places to sit around the bar and some counters to stand and enjoy a drink. I decided to finish my full breakfast by ordering a Jack and Coke. They couldn't make me that, but I could make me a Jameson Pepsi, which wasn't exactly the same, but I wasn't really here to have a specific drink, I was really just here to enjoy the foreign bar, a walk around the business class cabin one, two, one.
I returned to my seat and it was time to prepare for landing, starting with raising the blinds, the crew then came with a pre-arrival box of Turkish delight, one of almost all the different types they had on board, all in one only box that I took and enjoyed. Later, The Descent Was Made Beautiful began over Reno and Lake Tahoe, continued across California to the coast above downtown San Francisco, and returned to land in a rainy SFO, all enhanced with a complementary view from the cameras mounted on the plane while flying through icy conditions, however, it was interesting to see how the lens picked up ice and then the relative wind blew all that ice away. foreigner foreigner thank you this was probably the saddest landing of my life as it meant that this once in a lifetime opportunity had arrived.
In closing, it was a dream 18 years in the making, so I was happy to see it finally come true. I can honestly say that Emirates first class is 100 percent worth the hype. I would love to try their business and economy classes. but I can say that after every video I've seen about Emirates first class and every advertisement I've been watching for the last 15 years, being able to experience it in person is a completely different experience. I know one of the biggest complaints right now is that this cabin has become outdated and the new cabin is much more worth it.
I'm impressed with the photos of the new cabin. I don't know if this cabin feels outdated once you're there. As much as I would love to one day experience the new first class that Emirates has launched, I'm honestly not sure when or if I'll ever be able to experience this type of flight again considering it costs over ten thousand dollars and it took me a long time to save up enough points. just to do it once, but make sure if I ever get into the new cabin, I'll bring you with me in another video in the meantime, though, I appreciate it. to each and every one of you for stopping by to enjoy this experience with me and stay tuned for a lot of new videos that I will upload soon, as well as always have a good trip and I will see you all next time abroad.
