I Try Emirates First Class - I Was Shocked!

Mar 26, 2024
Hello everyone, welcome back, so today I'm at London Gwick Airport to fly to Dubai on Emirates and now I'm flying

first

class. I don't have a seat on this plane. Now I have a suite. You may be thinking: wow! I bet this is going to be expensive, it's not as expensive as you might think. I've heard some people pay 10-15k for one of these seats. I didn't pay that and I'll tell you how I saved a little with my reservation. A little later, so I'm going to fly on the largest passenger plane in the world, the A380.

It also has a bar and a shower. Yes, for

first

class passengers, only now the reservation also includes a chauffeur, but that went a bit out of my mind. I don't think he came to Great Yama to pick me up. I think it was only 60 miles from the airport, so let's see if Emirates first class is as good as some people think. Let's register. I have no idea where I'm registering, although I saw it flash just a minute ago. I think it is this way. Here I am checking now. What's crazy is that you can carry up to 70kg on board with a first class ticket, so typical that I.

More Interesting Facts About,

i try emirates first class i was shocked...

I'm going again for 3 days and I actually don't need that many things traveling light. Hello, well, no thanks for waiting, check, that's to check, yes, yes, M, boarding C, you received the invitation from First Security and L, well, everyone checked in, so now just. I have to go through security as usual and then we will check the Emirates well. I don't think it's a first class lounge, it's more of a business class lounge here at Gatwick, apparently not too exciting, you can't get any treatment. There, as you can, in some Emat rooms, you can get a lot of food and champagne.

It would be rude not to, wouldn't it be nice if you didn't know that Gatwick North Terminal is basically EasyJet Central? In fact, there are only a couple of flights running and the only one Emirates flight costing £825 into Dubai, so they have premium security. Now for £8, why would you bother paying that? I usually check out the stores, but since I haven't spent that much time, I'm leaving. go straight to the Emirates Lounge and see how it feels every time I pass through Gatwick, the chain is sure they still have the weather spoons in the far corner, it's a pretty big terminal, it's bigger than the south terminal, well, I think the lady said it was close to WH Smith and there is always more than one WH Smith in the North Terminal of the airport, looking for slightly more modern comfortable seats, like small lounges.

I remember being in a lounge here once before, I think it was the number. one lounge didn't really rate it highly, there are quite a few here and it's also quite surprising that Emirates has a lounge here because they only fly twice a day for shopping from Gatwick so I would have thought there would be a lot of demand for it. down doors closed doors hello hello how are you yeah ok thanks wow Rolex lots of magazines I can hear the water running nice little water fountain I don't think there are windows here so food all complimentary problem is ok thanks check it out they have a center business straight out of the naughty 90's where everyone would have computers to connect to the internet, in fact there are still a couple of computers.
I feel bad saying this, but this room is really boring, they obviously spent a lot of money on it. the furniture because it's all leather but there are only two tv's there is no real atmosphere the food is quite tasteless I asked if there were snacks there were none but there is champagne. I guess it's good to go check my email. or maybe go to YouTube, oh yeah, speaking of internet, the Wi-Fi here is ridiculously slow, well the showers are basic, like an upscale shower, you have a heated tower and you can't get many in this. shower, although now it's probably only two people, of course, there is a shower on board or they call it a spa, um, and I have to wait to have a shower only 40,000 feet, if I ever fight Emirates again from Gatwick to Dubai .
I don't think I'll be running back to that room in the future, it was a bit depressing filling Miserable and it's also time to board, there's a huge queue, but I guess for your first class you should be able to go to the front. priority, we will discover that the A380 can accommodate a lot of people, which is why the queue is ridiculously long. Many of these people are heading to Australia. I think here you also have, yes, just one, I have a request. The flight cannot be the first to board. I can't be that lucky and you hardly see any real signage.
I'm sure that's the case, so first class passengers board a separate entrance right at the top of the plane, obviously, hello, yes, hello, welcome. How are you today? Good thank you. My colleague went from C to S. There will be S. Lovely. Thank you so much. Well, there's no overhead compartment, so this is my suite, but the nice thing is that it actually closes, so it's like a hotel room alarm in the sky. Thank you. So they just gave me some champagne. I didn't want too much. Two reasons why I don't want to get too drunk because I want to take this all in.
And secondly, they give you the best things when you're in the air this is a basic champagne they give you the da perryon um or whatever it's called when you're in the air something like that normally when I get on a flight I usually leave it for the last minute but since I'm going first class. I thought I'd get here as soon as possible and make every minute count because when you go to Dubai from London it's not as long as coming back so I think it's around 6 hours and 50 minutes but I might even cut some of that down though I heard that the weather in Dubai is not very good when we land.
It's strange being here on the A380, it doesn't really feel that big, it feels like a small commercial airline, it's not. until you go down the stairs, obviously in economy class, and then you realize how big the plane is from up here, although the A380 looks very cozy, the showers are like that, apparently it's huge down there, we'll take a look later , it's crazy how many windows we have one, two, three and a pop-up bar that's complimentary, white chocolate, hazelnuts, I have some still water, sparkling water. I have a glass, more nuts, more sparkling water and more still water, just look at the legroom I have.
I mean, my coat is down there, this is where my bag is. I mean, look how much space I have. The carpet is nice and clean. There are my pajamas for later the entrance to my suite. And there is my coat in Arabic brown. Oh yes, please, sure. and orange, be for the orange, in fact, thank you very much, okay, thank you, quote orange. Now I'm actually glad I didn't have too much food in the lounge because I'm saving myself for the flight. I'm not a big fan of dates, but as for dates, that's really good, let's try the coffee.
I've noticed that such a sweet thing is missing unless there's something here that's like a little container for your trash. I love how they bought the dates in that very polished wooden box, so we have about 10 minutes before departure and how it's quiet because when we take off it's also very noisy and you probably won't be able to hear me as well on the microphone. I'll give you the tour of the cabin now, in fact, while I'm at it. on land it's probably a little quieter. I love the lamp, it's so elegant and it's like considering how old the plane is and these sweets, you know, look how they keep them in good condition.
Nick loves little touches for lamps. box with sweets, small vitamin drinks, more nuts, chocolate, gummies, more nuts and some chips, these are real, not fake, you also have a small vanity kit here, so if you want to moisturize and put on your makeup, there is miss pillow . there I think he's ready for bed, but a nice little mirror, I'll leave that for now and then of course you have the huge touch screen TV, oh it is, but I don't want to touch it. I have a tablet here and then there's another tablet there I probably don't need all those tablets.
It's a bit excessive. I love this golden wood look. It actually reminds me of my stay at the Beal Arab in Dubai, which I stayed at last year. Thank you. I realize how crazy they just gave me a hot towel and it's ridiculously hot. That was refreshing. I'm not really sure what all these buttons do. that's how cool Bell is, look at that, it's like a hotel nightstand, notepad and pen. I wonder if I can really take this. Wow, it's really cute, it's good quality. I'll take it if you allow me. I hope so, for the price we have here we have an eye mask, we have headphones, some pretty expensive headphones, a security card and then there's Ice magazine, look at the suede, although the way it's all brushed is so pretty, this seat It's huge, there's everything.
The bedding, this obviously turns into a bed later, this cushion is such a comfortable mix of firm and soft, really like that, but I mean, there's so much room. I remember when I was upper class with Virgin Atlantic and the seat didn't feel right. this wide or big, but this is impressive. I know in the new first class suites I think they have a seat belt, but these are the old ones, so when I eat my food later, that's your table, there are these buttons here that I don't do. I know what they do: there is a massage function on this chest.
It would be nice if there was a little bit of light here and also my air vent is here because there's nothing on the top so your air vent is basically from the side here and down here as well and as you think where you can see someone else behind you, you can't reflect there and there is also a mirror in front which makes it feel even more private. Welcome AB board, we are about to show you security. this flight em so you can have the map there if you want and then you can watch your TV there or you can do it the other way around.
I think I know this sounds strange. I love a window seat but you feel very far from the actual window on an A380 because of its depth and then when you are in first class you feel even further away but you get a unique perspective from the CU window, you can see three windows at once and I can also see the cameras if they are working they work the quality is not very good is there some reason why we have stopped moving there is a plane right there just a taxi road it looks like a runway now I don't know if Is it because I'm right in front or is it the A380, but it didn't seem like we were barely going at any speed and we were already getting up, it was like the smoothest takeoff ever seen.
Look at this, don't judge me. Look at Barbie, wow, these headphones have noise canceling and I literally can't hear anything. I can't hear anything because I can't turn them on. I'll watch a little of this and then we'll order some dinner. lovely, thanks, well I've never tried Don P with champagne before, it can be quite expensive now. I apologize if you are a champagne connoisseur, but it all tastes very similar. I mean, it varies in flavor, but I'm not going to lie. it's good, I don't think I'm going to buy a bottle of that any time soon, even if you just look at the menu so you can order it whenever you want and you can order whatever you want whenever you want just by looking at the menu, it's yours. caviar I think I'll have to try it, I definitely want to get my money's worth and I think for a main I'm going to go for the roast beef, this actually comes with a mini Yorkshire pudding.
Wow, I just dressed the table. I'm sitting. like I'm eating in a five star restaurant, it's amazing white linen, I've got some malba toast here, some lemon prawns and the caviar will be on the way, but let's try this, how many PRS are there? one, two, should I press the privacy button? That is incredible. The only thing that disheartens me is that the flight to Dubai tonight is about 6 hours long and I have to try to enjoy it well, film everything and try to get something. sleeping is going to be difficult if you are going to spend the money on first class take a flight longer than 5 hours because it is very difficult to squeeze everything in because I want to enjoy the food I want to enjoy the champagne I want to go to the bar I want to take a shower and I want to sleep and I want to watch a movie, can I do all that in 5 hours?
It's going to be tight so I tried the caviar, probably three or four little bubbles of caviar. I've never had it before like this apparently this mother of pearl spoon is supposed to bring out the flavour, so we have a selection of finely chopped onion, chives, grated egg, sour cream and lemon with a Melba toast. I wonder how much actually. That's okay, but it's a lot, here we go. I can see why people like caviar. It's like eating, I don't know, raw fish, but this is softer, smoother and creamier, so I'll try it with a little grated egg. put some fresh cream on it I'm not going to lie, although it's better to eat it like this, the only thing I would say is that there is quite a bit in there and I don't want to waste it because it's probably a lot of money, but I don't want to get sick at the same time, so dinner is served .
I opted for the roast beef and green bean Yorkshire pudding with a very small amount of sauce. There is almost nothing there. Here we go, they even asked me how I want. is well done or half said half, cut it and see how it turns out. I've never had beef like this at 30,000 feet. Wow, sorry for the wider pudding, poor thing though,so dessert it is.Here I have to double check what I chose, so I chose a chocolate panacotta served with miso and caramel sauce and white chocolate kurdo. They also wanted to know if I wanted some dessert or congestion wine.
I think that is. what they call it right, so I decided to try it because I know that the Hennessy Paradise is quite expensive. If I said it right, it is something strong. Oh, I didn't realize this, but the seat can be moved further forward first, they always tell your taste. the buds change at 38,000 feet but I can taste everything and it's just lovely the last 15 20 minutes. I kind of forgot I was 3,8999 feet in the air. I will tell you that although you get your money's worth, I mean there is so much food to have, you can drink and eat as much as you want and then after dinner the lovely hostess came and gave me a variety of chocolates to eat .
I don't know if I can accommodate more before going to sleep, but oh well. I'm going to take a shower before I do it. I haven't shown you my free toiletry bag that you get and it's packed with stuff. There's a lot of stuff here from Bugari. There is a small bag. There is a lot. This bag. It's also Bugari. I hope I say it well. Oo. Fragrance. I won't spray that cleaning towel. Moisturizing body emulsion. Lip balm and after shave balm. And there's even more here too. Gillette, the best that man can achieve. I have a shaver, let's continue with the dental kit and then for smelly armpits, for runny nose and a hair brush.
I'm telling you it's a nice travel bag, about 4 hours and 55 minutes until we land the bike. I literally have to rush everything we have. I'm going to go check out the bar and then I'll show you the shower. There are two showers on board and we are up on the A380, there is one on the left and one on the right, but before you go check them out, just go. Check out the bar. Look, you can order champagne and any food you want. There aren't many people up here now, but I think a lot of them have gone to bed so we can see where we are.
Meal. I love the small seating area. It's a very nice cake, thank you very much, so there's another bike up here and the two showers are a shower there and then a shower there and then down. I think that's economical, so this is not only the shower for first class, but it's also the bathroom check. This is ready, they even have a toilet seat cover for me and it comes with all these products that I can use. They change for each person, so I have body wash, face wash, shampoo, conditioner, a comb, all these products. a clean towel, by the way, all these flowers are real.
Look, there's even a little jug of water there and you can see Debby's skyline in the background. Can you believe I'm 39,000 feet in the air? This is absolutely huge. I'll tell you how many people can fit in the shower in a minute, first of all, the sink, although it's huge, with this huge mirror, drying your hands with these little flannels, and I've also noticed that when a person has been in here there is a lady outside your only job is to just freshen this up and keep it clean after each person comes here to go to the bathroom or take a shower so when someone new comes in here use the L or use in the shower they still get that amazing experience of first class, that's good, so up here I can still see where I am on the sky map.
There is a hair dryer, there are more amenities and a lot of things, even the toilet paper is pointing, how many people? Can I fit in this shower? That is the question. It's actually bigger than you think. It actually goes back even further than I thought. I thought it was going to be this little shower here, but you can actually sit down. I mean, with a push you can. have one person sit and two people stand here, so it's as simple as pressing this button here, the temperature there and then it tells me how much time I have, apparently it's 5 minutes, there's some fresh flour here, that's it pretty good. just close the door, the fact that you can sit comfortably here, well I guess there's only one thing to do and that's try the shower.
Is there a little turbulence in the shower? What is the situation if we have strong turbulence and I am in the shower? and I almost forgot my pajamas which I need to go back to get because otherwise it would have been really awkward getting out of the shower and yeah so I bought some pajamas with slippers and this cute Emirates bag to put them in let's get in the shower first . we have more turbulence and they have a soft bath mat for when you get out, my 5 minute start, make sure it's really hot, pressing the button when I'm trying to figure out why the shower won't turn on, I'm pressing the button I can actually call for the creb camera, that's going to be a little awkward, um, this is embarrassing, okay, so they moved me to the other shower.
I have 5 minutes. You better be quick and enjoy this. I'm done with the book break. right now i'm showering at 39,000 feet this is crazy and it's also pretty good ok the pajamas had to be size medium btw b is amazing look at these slippers it's time for bed Oh wow. This is so cozy. This is a large and long bed. Turn off some lights. Good night. I'll see you in a couple of hours. That's all I have, by the way, you should also check the roof, it's not that pretty anyway. Good night. I would say in the morning, I think I slept for about 20 minutes and then I was like, you know what I'm going to get up?
Because you know when you need to sleep because you know you have to sleep, you just can't do anything. As for the bed, it was comfortable, obviously you have the closets and the walls that restrict your arms when you move, but throughout, this bed and its softness is really comfortable, so it is currently 1 a.m. time United Kingdom, 5 a.m. on Dubai time and we landed in 2 hours, we were told you had to order any food or drink you wanted an hour and a half before landing which is quite surprising actually because I would have thought things would still need to be served. like that until I don't know, maybe half an hour before landing, but yes, if I want to have breakfast I have to eat it in a minute.
I've also been very lucky because I think there are only two. people In First Class there is only me and one other person in this first class at the time that person is on the other side there is still no light outside but I have ordered breakfast starting with a nice cup of tea oh I need to put this There I even give you some shortbread cookies. I think I can see the sunrise starting with some cornflakes for this morning. The only other option they have is an omelet. I don't think I had cereal for breakfast. a plane before landing I think it's going to be quite bumpy.
It's actually raining in Dubai. Can you believe I still have my slippers on and my pajama bottoms, but the Bel seat sign is on, so I'm going to have to change on the air. I can't walk through Dubai airport in pajama pants. I'll have to do it before I get off the flight. I've never landed in a storm before. I just saw lightning through the window too. I don't know if you can see it on camera, but the rain is absolutely pounding. Look, I can't see anything out the window. Having been in first class doesn't make it any less terrifying.
I'm telling you, my God, one more time. I didn't see that on camera, but the lightning actually hit the plane, the C I people, I said before, there's a little bit of weather around and, yeah, he plays it so cool, a little bit of weather, it was on the news about it. The weather was bad. We will be in Dubai when we land. It's typical, the worst thing is that we are circling in and out of this storm to be able to land. My God. I have never been so happy to be on land. It was crazy. 8 in the morning at 22, so the guard S told me that you can't film the rain in Dubai or while driving, or yes, I didn't understand what he meant, thanks, how the hell am I going to find my luggage?
There are so many. luggage belts wow that was scary walking in, there was so much lightning and every time I tried to capture it it obviously didn't work because I was obviously already done, but lightning at a few thousand feet sounds different, it explodes, it's very strange noises anyway. I'm glad to be on land, well it finally stopped raining. By the way, I'm at the hotel. If you want to see where I'll be staying, be sure to subscribe for the next video. It was quite a trip. To get here from the airport, actually through flooded roads in Dubai, I'm not going to lie, so you can hear the thunder still ringing, ouch, now the flight was expensive, but I got my value for money.
I guess I tried. Eat all the food you can and take advantage of all the comforts you can. The flight to buy first class on a sa ticket cost me £3200 now compared to what some people have paid online. I guess that's actually not too bad I'm also flying back business class for a lot less than that and you'll be able to see that video very soon. Tell me what you thought in the comments. Make sure you hit the subscribe button. Like the video. I'll see you next time
