I bought them on Etsy and will link them below. If you're interested in that, I'm going to select insert images and the first thing I want to do is this pink bow has two layers and I decided I wanted to just solder them together so I'm going to press solder and I'm just going to make one image and then I just want to change this to a different color so I can see it and this ship was going to be pink in the end so I'm going to change it to pink so it looks nice and I'm just going to make it a little bit smaller and size it above Mickey's shadow head so let's see, okay, it looks good and then I'll select both and I want to press Align Center Horizontally to center the arc. right in the middle and then the next thing I'm going to do is collect selected text and I'm going to type in my daughter's name and then I'm going to go up to the font and to select wall to graphic, I think you get wall to graphic, which is like the Disney font and then I also want to bring these letters a little bit closer, so I'm going to bring them a little bit closer and they look like they're spaced out.

More Interesting Facts About,

how to layer glitter iron on vinyl...

I find the ending strange, so I'm going to ungroup this and then I'm going to move the letters a little bit how I like it, okay, I like the way it looks, I'm going to cut it. everything and I'm going to select solder and then I'm going to zoom out again and I'm going to change Quinn to the same pink color and then I'm going to move her name right over Mickey's shadow. I could make it a little bit bigger and then I also want to center this, so I'm going to select Quinn. I'm just going to select Quinn on Mickey's head and then draw a line and center it horizontally again and I think it looks good.

Could do it. Quinn is a little bit bigger so I have my Mickey head the way I like it and I want to make each of these glitter vinyl pieces, but the problem with that is that you can't layer glitter iron on top of the glitter iron on. glitter, so I can see here that this bow is right above Mickey's head. If you move it, it's right on top of that and you don't want to do that because it won't stick, which I heard right and I think it'll just peel off. It comes off pretty easily, so Cricut recommends not putting our glitter iron-on vinyl on top of the glitter iron-on vinyl, so to avoid that, I'm going to cut these pieces out so I can then put them together instead of laying them down and then layering them.
how to layer glitter iron on vinyl
They're directly on top of each other, so to do this, the first thing I want to do is size my image, so I'm going to select all of this and I want it to be five and a half inches, which is pretty much what it's set to, but I'm going to change it to five and a half inches and then I want to duplicate the bow and Quinn, so I'm going to select the bow and press duplicate and I'm going to slide it here and I'm going to select Quinn and press duplicate and then I want to cut these pieces and you can only cut two layers at a time, so I'll start with the bow.
I'll select it with Mickey's head, you can see. I have two cuts selected and then I'm going to press cut, so I'm going to take these pieces out here and then I'm going to delete them and you can see that the bow is going to fit right inside Mickey's head. Oops, undo! so I'm going to move the bow out of the way and my coin got under Mickey's head, so I'm just going to right click and press send back, so now I'm going to cut both of them to hit Quinn. So you can see I soldered the letters Quinn, if I didn't have them soldered together it won't let you cut so make sure you have the letters soldered together because it makes it a layer so I'm going to select Quinn and select the Mickey head you can see that I have two layers, I'm going to select a cut and then move them out of the way and delete them so you can see, now I'll be able to adjust them.
Able to place Quinn right inside that piece, so I'll move her out of the way. I have my three pieces and the next thing I want to do is just click Create and here I want to mirror these. Because these are iron-on vinyls, so I will select mirror on both. Might move Quinn around a bit. I always feel like it's a little bit difficult to cut between those, okay, so now what I want to do is select Continue, okay? so now I want to select glitter iron on. I haven't set it to my favorites, but if you don't, just click on search material and you can search for it, but it's very convenient to have the material set to your favorites, so I'm going to select glitter iron on and then I'll show you how on my machine how do I do this.
I place both glitter heat transfer vinyls on my mat and have the Cricut machine cut it out. The black glitter vinyl was the Cesar brand and the pink vinyl was the Cricut brand. I happen to have two different brands so I just used both. This pink glitter iron on was coming off the carrier, for some reason, so I had to use my scraper to stick it on. to the mat a little better here are my pieces cut out and removed, you can see how the pink vinyl was peeling off the backing sheet which made it a little harder to remove the letters from Mickey's black head.
I want to read the actual letters like I'm doing here and this is similar to how you would remove a stencil and those pink letters will go inside the Mickey letters that were cut out and here you can see how I then removed it. I placed my shirt on the easy-press cricket mat. My easy press is set for 3:30 to 30 seconds and while it's heating up, I press it onto the shirt. Then I fold my shirt in half and do my easy pressing. I love this little trick because it makes it very easy to know where to center the design.
I also fold the vinyl and have to find the center and make sure I don't fold the sticky side in half. I place the vinyl on my t-shirt. and I line it up, then I place my easy press on top. I only hold down the easy press for a few seconds, long enough for the vinyl to adhere to the t-shirt and you don't want to press for the full 30 seconds. Because the vinyl can shrink and the pieces don't line up correctly, so I remove the backing sheet, take my pink ribbon and line it up on the cut out section and you want to line it up right where there are no gaps and where none of the black vinyl overlaps. and this is what it all looks like lined up.
Now I take my parchment paper and you can also use Teflon sheets and I place it over the vinyl and this will protect the vinyl that is not covered. on the carrier sheet and then once again I place the easy iron on it for about two or four seconds, just long enough for it to stick to the shirt and then I remove the carrier sheet and I just want to say that I am obsessed with How Beautiful It Check out this glitter iron-on vinyl. Next, I'll add Quinn's name with that pink vinyl that moves so much on the backing sheet that it wasn't going to work to line up the entire word, so I decided to cut it out. each letter and I placed two letters down and I noticed that the carrier sheets were overlapping and you don't want them to overlap, sometimes it leaves a little indentation in the vinyl so I decided to do each letter separately after I was done.
When adding the letters I do one final press for the full 30 seconds and then I turn my shirt inside out and press on the back for about 15 seconds and this is what it looks like. I'm in love with a shiny look. Next I want to show you how I made one more shirt with layers of glitter and you'll see in the design space that this SVG already has the pieces cut out so I'm going to click upload and I'm going to select my SVG and I found this SVG on Etsy so we're going to hit insert image so here's our image and if you go to the layers panel and hit ungroup and then when you select this all of these are grouped together so you want to click ungroup again and then when you slide them out you can I see they are already cut the way she made this SVG.
It looks like everything is already cut, so you don't even have to cut it and it'll be all ready to go, so I'm going to hit undo and I'm just going to put it back to how it was, so all I'm going to do is select this entire image and then I'm going to adjust its size and I'm going to make five inches for the width and then I'm going to click Make It and then I'm going to select each one and press mirror. This is iron on vinyl or heat transfer vinyl, so you want to mirror all of these and separate them by color on the mats, so I'm just going to click on mirror. here and then I'm going to press continue.
I'm going to select glitter iron. I have my vinyl cut and removed and I'll show you how I put them together. It's basically the same way I did it with the first shirt. so I'll speed it up so you can see the whole process. I hope you enjoyed this video.
