How to Draw Baby Groot | Guardians of the Galaxy

Hello everyone and welcome to the club, today I will show you how to

Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. Let's start with the eyes. I can start with a circle for the left eye starting from the top then down and then back to the top we'll do the same on the right side now we're going to leave a pretty big space in the middle here when I

a circle of the same size on the right side starting from the top curve around down and then back to the top, let's add a small highlighted circle in the top left area so there's a smaller circle up here, starting from the top circle.

We're going to do the same thing on the right side again, starting from the top and it's going around, let's color the eyes black, let's call the red iron black, this little curve drawn on the inside edge of each eye, so from here we're going to curve up and to the left, curving towards the inner edge. of the eye I'll do the same on the right side from here I'm going to go there a mouth you know to meet the eyes so for the left side I'm going to curve down and to the right at the ends of the mouth we're just going to draw a small bracket just to finish the corners of the mouth.

From here, let's draw the side of the head going down toward the chin, so right next to the left eye we want to curve down, it's almost a half circle. going down towards the chin now I want to bring this back up on the right side. I want to try to keep the same distance between the side of the head and the eye from the sides, go up and then just fold them out. As you get to the top, the left side will rise and then fold outwards. The right one will go up and then you will bend it to the right.

Let's start there at some of the broken edges of the crust at the top. head, so for the left side we're just going to curve it in, curved like this now I'm going to overlap that with a curve that goes a little bit higher, so down here, overlap it and let's go up, let's do the same thing on the right, so we're going to go back and forth from left to right just to make sure that we're balancing this so that the tip curves in and down. I'm going to overlay this line, the curve that goes up from here let's do the same thing.

We curve again towards the middle, now we're going to overlap this again, so we're going to lower the curve up, so this point is much higher than the one at the end here, let's do the same thing on the right, just overlapping them. that now from these two points, when you go down towards the center point here, from the left side just curve down and we'll curve to the right from the center point here. I just want to draw a straight line down just to show a little crack in the wood, let's add some thickness to the broken edges, so for this corner here on the left I just want to angle up the short line and happen down, just follow the same curve behind with the one on the right. and do the same thing, so tilt it up and down, do the same thing for this side, so from here I'm going to tilt it in and curve it down on this side and do the same thing, mad up and curve it back toward the center. you want to show the center piece here, so in the middle to draw a short level line going up on the left side it's going to angle in and up on the right angle, in and up, we're just going to connect those three. points with a curve. put it to the right, let's add some cracks around the face, so right above the eye, I'm just going to pull the line up here, we'll just curve down, you can add haze pretty much anywhere you want.

I'm alone. I'm going to add a bunch along the bottom of the chin here, so hurry up and you can space them randomly, they don't have to be evenly spaced. Put some closer together and some farther apart. I'll add a couple down here, so this one. I'm going to make an open crack, so if we hear you coming down, just fold it like this and do the same on the opposite side. I'm going to go out in the opposite direction and color it black. add a little crack line right here, so just a straight line like that at the ends of these points we're going to add some leaves, so from this point on the left we're going to curve like this, we do the opposite of Create a leaf, we're going to angle it outwards like this so that the tip curves outwards and then bends it back in the opposite direction.

I'm going to continue this along the top, you can make some of them bigger than others. some of them are really small, so I put a little bit smaller here, there's a big one at the top and a small one right next to it, a few more, now I have one back here and finally at the end coming down, okay, so we have head. let's get into the body, so down here I'm just going to draw the front edge of the frame first, so over here let me draw a curve from left to right, it's curving now I can tuck the body in behind here and this is a series. of roots that twist and tangle towards the pot, so up here I'm going to start under the chin and curve inward on the side.

Here I want to show some of the roots that come this way, so here. I'm going to taper off and it will go down again. I'm going to make another curve going down like this. We're going to continue this curve here, so I'm going to thicken this root by just following it all the way from the chin to the weft here under the chin it's going to narrow so it looks almost like it's folding back on itself up here I'm going to curve towards the right again under the chin I'll curve this down and we'll do one more. up here I'm going to make a curve towards the pot now up here in this I'm going to go in the opposite direction curving underneath like this on the side here I'm just going to thicken up with a little curve like that let's draw the rest of the plot, so I want show that the frames are wrapped around the roots, so from here I'm going to curve behind the root to the right.

I'll do the same: we'll color those interior areas black. from here I'm going to draw the top border of the plot, so what do I do? Just trace around this curve on the outside starting from the left side here and go out with Whittaker on the front. Now let's draw this. back, yeah, let's draw the side of the plot, so from these ends here we're just going to angle in and down, you know, with an angle on both sides, making sure they're at the same height, let's to finish this. at the bottom with a curve that connects those two lines like this, let's draw some arms, so on this side I'm going to start with the arm and a fist, so right down here we curve the inside of the arm, let's draw the thumb draw a little semicircle going around like this on the edge of the thumb here and we enjoy a little bracket on the bottom of this thumb.

I'm going to rotate for the index finger, we're overlapping a little bit, so right here We're going to rotate again and then finally with the third finger, we're going to pull this up to under the chin, so going up like this, let's add some root lines on this arm, so from this wrist line I want to curve up, just tuck that in. here under the body, I'm just going to make a little curve separating from these two ends of the fingers here, I'm going to curve and take us under this line, so I'm just going to continue that curve all the way to the end like that and at the end here, I'm just going to overlay a curve like that.

Let's do the same on the right side, starting at the same height, curving towards the thumb and rounding the thumb, add a little support now to the end of the thumb. here at the bottom we're just going to rotate around the support for the first finger, we'll do an overlap for the second finger and then the third we want to pull under the chin going up and under the wrist line. We'll have those little root lines, so here, when the curve up under the body will add another separation there and then again from the tips of the fingers, we'll just spread them out and then tuck them under and cross like this.

Up here we'll just make a little parting through some little E's on the arms just like we did with the head here on the side of the arm and go up and then in the opposite direction when we add another leaf here. a single leaf on the side here to curse and that's it, there we have it, there's
